Tech came to do a yearly termite check. Walked around my house 5 feet from foundation. No way can you check for termites that far away. I have him on my cameras. He said he was here for 35 minutes my camera clocks 20. This included treatment inside my house and he did not treat my enclosed outside patio. Please remind your employees we have camera. You should hold them accountable. My husband didn’t watch him and he shouldn’t have to .

Patricia did a great job. yesterday. She was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable about bugs. We had a problem with pantry flies and she gave us some pantry moth strips (who knew there was such a thing). We had been vacuuming them up with the hand vac, and they kept coming back. I would highly recommend this family owned business. We have been happy clients for 18 years. They are also very reasonably priced!

Technicians rush through spraying exterior of home. They do not come inside or even in the garage unless you specifically ask them to. They do nothing to knock down spider webs or insects on the house. And, it is extra to spray anything in the yard including ant hills. Not impressed with this pest control company.

We bought a small fixer upper home that had termite damage. A quick Google search showed these folks had a good rating, so knowing nothing about termites I called them hoping they could help. I made the mistake of letting them know I don’t know anything about termites. They apparently took this opportunity to try and rip off some “young and unsuspecting couple”. After doing further research and having 3 other companies quote termite treatments I found out the Hired Killers was trying to CHARGE US OVER DOUBLE what the competition was charging! Double the price for an out of date treatment plan that could damage our already weak foundation?As soon as I realized the price discrepancy I contacted the company to see if there had been a mistake made. “No mistake was made” I’m told, but I asked to speak to the manager so I could get him to come out to my house and double check the quote and explain the treatment before I made a decision. (At this time I still wanted them to do the treatment) Every time I called, the manager was out of town or unavailable. I have called many times and left multiple messages. I have even told them I won’t pay the Inspection bill until the manager contacts me! They refuse to contact me except for multiple late notices they senf in the mail for their inspection fee.These people are crooks. Stay away!!You did not respond to any of my complaints and now you are flat out lying about documented communication with post marked bills. Also I have a list of all the times I have called.I WILL NOT PAY YOUR BILL. I HAVE HIRED AN HONEST COMPANY THAT DOES SOUTH CAROLINA COMPLIANT TREATMENTS

I always trying to see also positive things in an negative situation, but in this case all I can say is they did a good job, disappointing and losing a client. Long story short, I gave them a call ahead of time and they confirmed that they will call me back, but they never did. I wait a month and they gave me just excuses. I gave them another chance, so we booked an appointment and guess what. They showed up at night, over an hour late with flashlight. This is how late it was. And again with excuses. And on top of all of that, they only care about me signing their paperwork. I don’t even want a free service from these unprofessionals. No thanks. If you have time and money to waste, call them.

Not great. Originally hired because we found a 6 black snake skin inside our basement storage area. For $300 they came out removed the snake skin and out down snake away, which can be purchased from anywhere from Tractor Supply to Amazon from $20-$30 per package. They charged $200 to spray for pests which is something I generally do on my own using Talstar Pro for about $20 per treatment. At $300 I would have assumed a full assessment of points of entry, sealent of any found areas or at the very least advisement of where to guard against them. Within a three months I found another skin in the exact same area. Not at all worth the $500 I spent with them. I will say the two guys who came out were very friendly and polite. Save yourself the money and treat your own property for much less.

I called to make an appt, I cancelled the appt giving a few days notice. On 12-30-2020 a tech went to the house anyway without authorization. Tech was there from 1:27-1:30 per the invoice jammed in the door. The invoice was for $200.00 !!! I called the co to question the invoice. Hired Killers staff, in my experience are rude and disrespectful. Never would I recommend Hired Killers for any type work.

Which means they must be doing a fantastic job outside and around the foundation, they come quarterly and probably every other time at most do they come inside (due to my work hours). I have used Hired Killers for the past eight years or so and they have always done a thorough job. We have them come to the house and treat quarterly and their pricing is very competitive. Starting last summer we starting using them for the summer months to combat mosquitoes. Last summer was the first time I could actually stay outdoors and enjoy our yard without getting eaten alive. In the past year or so Danny Willis has come to our home and done an incredible job! He has helped us deal with a mouse problem and was so thorough and respectful. For the second time since beginning service with Hired Killers, we have spiders and roaches in the house. The first time they sprayed, critters appeared within 2 weeks; however, they came right out and sprayed again - problem solved. I called today because after spraying mid-May, we again have spiders and a few roaches. (They actually appeared just two weeks after the last spraying but I was too busy to call. Plus, the company will only call you the day before they come to the house - no way to schedule ahead of time.) Although, it has only been 10 weeks since they last sprayed, the office now says it has been a quarter so I would need to pay again. Evidently the quarter begins on the month? But I call in July and they tell me August begins tomorrow so the quarter is over? Ill find another pest control company who 1) makes scheduled appointments and 2) clearly communicates and stands behind the quality of their product.

Customer service phone skills are lacking

I received inaccurate information before I started the monthly plan, the store manager Erica Meredith was very rude. Erica stated “ No one here will ever say anything like that to you because we know our product” basically calling me a liar. This was my second time using this company but it will definitely be my last time!!! They need inservices about customer complaints. The employees don’t know how to talk with customers. This is a very rude, unprofessional company! I would not recommend this company to no one!!!!!!!

Danny has been my technician for at least 10 years, the first few years I did not realize you could request a certain person. Danny is great and treats me like a friend and not like another job. Ive always thought the best of this company as they have been servicing my home for termite/pest control since 2005. I was in the middle of doing retirement and I accept responsibility for not contacting them when I had not heard from them in February to do my quarterly pest treatment and annual termite inspection. I do put some responsibility on them for not following up with me. Do they not have my record? I sent a question to them online who followed up with me. She could not give me any anwers. Im really disappointed in the service at this point....seems like I have been lost in the crowd, which is not the 1st time! Maybe its time to look elsewhere for termite/pest control!

I see a lot of good reviews here but unfortunately I have not had the same experience with this company. The company that build my home recommended them for my termite treatment and follow up inspections so I just went with it. For the last two years, every time they have to come out to do their annual inspection it is a miserable experience. They schedule an appointment without my consent and then call me 24 hours before and tell me they are coming and ask if I can be home. This year they called me on January 22nd and said they needed me to be there on the 23rd for the inspection. That didnt work for my work schedule so I told them that I need to reschedule to beginning of February and they told me that it had to be done by the end of January. So why didnt they call me in December and schedule an appointment instead of waiting until there were 8 days left in the month that it had to be completed?This same thing happened last year and they finally scheduled arrive at 5pm and the tech never called and didnt show up until 7pm. I would love to cancel my service with them but unfortunately they treated my home during initial construction, so if I want to switch to another company then I would have to pay a lot of money to have another treatment set up. Maybe you will get lucky any have a good experience, but that has not been the case at all for me....for the last 2 years.

We had Danny Willis come out to one of our properties today, and he was great! He explained the process, sprayed liberally, making sure that no spots were missed, and took great care in his work. They had fair pricing as well. We look forward to working with them in the future.
