They never disappoint & are actually worth whatever they charge 😍

Needed nails done for an event this weekend. Got a fill-in and gel mani-pedi on Friday $75. By Saturday my toe nail polish had lifted up like a layer of skin, by Sunday the edges of my finger nail polish was chipping off like regular nail polish, not gel. All of this in a matter of 48 hours.. Not to mention the male nail tech seem to be in a hurry. The tips of my nails were even polished.. I called today and was told to come back and they will fix for me, but this is most likely a total do over if the polish is old.. I’ve never experienced this with gel polish. It usually stay on until next fill-in(2 weeks)..🤦🏾‍♀️

Worst nail service for nails that didn’t last. They didn’t touch my cuticles, barely said a word, kept snickering to his coworker who was doing my best friend’s nails, and continually gave me attitude when I spoke up about what I wanted. $86 for nails that looked great for about 24 hours. Returning to get them repaired and not coming back!!!

I got a pedicure from this location I’m from NY State they did a horrible job then charge me for every little thing I requested of her to do which these things should’ve been included in my pedicure. I then got a full set ask for cuffin shape nails they look more like square shape nails after all services render I paid $140,I was confused as why when back home I usually pay anywhere from $80 the max $100,and I tip get better design better quality of service,the cost of living is cheaper here so explain why are you people taking advantage down her for services. never will I come and spend my money here again and mail was think and uneven and was not neat at all.don’t believe the lies

I will never come here again... my first and last time coming here...he file my nails down to short after I told him I didnt want him to do it... told him I will pay the difference to redo my nails and told me he couldnt do it. After waiting almost a hour for a pedicure I decided I wanted a color change and charge me $25 for just that and didnt know they own price for everything.....ask if I could get a pedicure they told me I had to pay an extra $45 for it...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ‼️

About a week ago I came to this business to get lash extensions because I had a event going on the next day, that I wanted to feel pretty going too. I decided to get the 35$ lash extensions triple for the occasion and was sadly disappointed. The left side of my eye was completely uneven the next day from the right, and the process took about 3-4 minuets for the lady to apply so I already had my doubts. However, when she held the mirror for me to look at they both appeared decently even. The highest point on my left eye is in the corner of my eye, closest to my nose, but on the right side it appears to look exactly how it did when I got them done. It feels like someone’s stabbing me in my eye and when trying to brush through them, tend to knot extremely bad, as well as my eyes feel very irritated even when I barley touch them. Overall a very dissatisfied customer and I don’t think i’ll be coming here again. Would NOT recommend the lash extensions if you come here!

The first time i went was great, some lady did my gel manicure on my natural nails perfectly! 💁🏽‍♀️ My second experience not so well, this guy did them and he did not remove all the gel polish from the first time and you could see the previous gel polish on the sides of my nails that he “tried” to paint over with the new color i choose. Also he painted to close to my cuticles/skin and now that my nails have grown out the gel polish is lifting and getting caught on everything i touch. The service was very much rushed and disappointing. 😐👎🏽

My first time going there today and my real nail was broke. The man that did my nails had an attitude Bc I wanted to soak the nail off and he broke my real nail down to the meat and then laughed. Never will I ever come here again

It was my granddaughter’s birthday. She turned 8 years old. Her mom wanted to take her for the first time to get her nails painted and her toes painted. My granddaughter called me and ask me to come . I agreed. We had never been to this place before but sense it was close to Target, where my granddaughter received birthday gift cards, we decided to go to this salon for convenience. My daughters whole demeanor changed after we left and I did not know why until my granddaughter told me mommy pay $200 to get our nails done and toes done just a simple pedicure nail polish for the three of us when I called to speak to the owner or a manager she said I would have to call back another day I said so no one is in charge. She say I could talk to her. She broke down the cause. It did not add up to 200,00. When I told her I was calculating the cost she was quoting and my daughter paid to much. She hung up on me and no one would answer when I called back. I will never go there again. The arms of the chairs were broken, the nail polish I choose was empty but the little old lady was beating the mess out of the bottle and would just brush over all of my nails using that one dab. This place is robbery and a danger with broken seats. Price Gouging especially for the black community that’s just my opinion never again Will I nor my daughters or granddaughters ever go there again.

I have been a customer to this nail salon a few times for a pedicure. Today I went in and the lady that gave me a manicure was very fast and did not speak the whole time. She didnt greet me, she handed me the color swatches and didnt say a word. I felt unwelcomed and rushed. I picked out a very light peach color and when my manicure was done, it looked like a bright neon orange. So I paid left, and it was even brighter outside so I went back in for a different color. The lady took off my polish with the electric tool and hurt me multiple times and didnt apologize when I told her. I picked out a cute pink color this time and when it was done it also did not match the color swatch that I chose. They wanted me to pay for another full gel polish set after I paid the first time moments before. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

I love this nail bar. Staff is amazing!! Adam ALWAYS does my nails and I LOVE his work. This is definitely a place you should go if you want your nails done right.

Ill never go here again my toes were the only things done that was done correctly I asked for one thing I got something else when it came to my fingernails if he would have had this much attention to my fingernails why you was texting on his phone then everything would have been right I paid $88 and didnt get the service that I paid for this place is definitely a joke

I visited  this establishment a few months ago, I was told the wait time would be 30 minutes. There was another lady that had been waiting for more than an hour and 30 minutes; she was very agitated and was being dismissed by staff when asking how much longer. After 50 minutes, I did inquire to the receptionist about the wait time; she informed me that I am next in line after the lady that had been there for an 1 1/2 hours.  After nearly two hours,  the lady was seated, within a minute of her being seated, a group of young ladies walked in, 4 of them were African American,  and one was Caucasian. The Caucasian lady walked up to one of the staff and told him that she wanted her nails done, but wanted to know first, if he could fix her broken nail.  He told her he could, asked her to have a seat in his chair and began working on her nails. At this time, several more guests had been waiting in line behind me (at least 4) for well over 30 minutes.  The receptionist noticed that I along with 4 other women had been skipped and that the lady seated needed to wait in line; he waived her off. Five minutes later,  he waved for me to come sit in the seat beside the lady that was seated before me; there was no staff seated in front of me, as I sat there for quite some time. The receptionist came over to me and apologized.  I appreciated her compassion, tipped her for treating me like I was a human being and have not and will not return.  Myself and many of my sorority sisters frequented this place, and sadly we will not return.

I dont get my nails done often, but I had pictures the next day and decided to treat myself. I went in for just a classic manicure. It felt rushed and I was cut.When I got there, they had every other seat open (which I appreciated) and everyone wore mask, but the more people that came in, the more seats were filled. Someone sat down right beside me. That person would often remove their mask to speak and talk across the room - which made me uncomfortable.I went to the dryer and he tried to put me in the same spot as someone else before sanitizing it. I was also going to be sitting shoulder to shoulder with another person. It made the other person uncomfortable too. I dont mind waiting for services as long as safety protocols are being followed. If I knew everyone had washed their hands properly and kept their mask on, I would have been fine too, but that wasnt the case.Next day, my nail polish was already chipped. 3 days later, one nail had all the polish gone. I work from home as a teacher so I dont do anything to make my polish come off that quickly.I do not recommend.

My husband and I went in for pedicures. We got to the back, we picked what pedicure we would like and they started. I asked to have my toes painted a solid color with my big toe having a design the 2 gentlemen that were helping us had no clue what I was asking. They didnt speak hardly any English and with the mask on it just made it ten times worse. I said never mond and said solid color is fine. I asked for gel and once he started painting my toes I watched as he only did the center of each toe and left the sides unpainted. I said something and he starting talking to the other guy. I pointed to the sides that were left unpainted, he shook his head and went on. I said something again and finally he put one coat of paint on it and dried them again and put a top coat on and told me I was done. So needless to say the center of my toes are a dark color and the sides barely have any paint on them. After paying what we did I will never be going back nor would I ever recommend them. As for how long it took we werent even there 20 mins which again I thought was mighty fast for what we paid for.

Came here after seeing someone’s gorgeous nails while out shopping, checked their Facebook gallery and saw they do amazing work. I love their designs and they gave me exactly what I wanted. Would recommend coming right when they open or near close if you don’t want to wait as they don’t take appointments.

I came and asked for my acrylic set to be removed, a mani/pedi, and gel nails with nail art. I left with a fill in, gel color change and the saddest pedi I’ve ever had in my life. Full disclosure this was on a Sunday I arrived at 11:57am and there were already 15 people being serviced (they supposedly open at 12pm). Social distancing is non existent and there were customers without masks. I’m immediately directed to the back where he turns on extremely hot water for the foot bath (not enough to damage but hot enough to make it uncomfortable). My feet were probably in the water 2min before exfoliating, which felt like nothing more than the rough side of a cheap sponge. He did not add any moisturizer to my feet after and when I got home I had to actually scrub all the rough spots out myself. After the pedi it was on to the mani. I started to explain what I wanted and he told me we could do it next time there was nothing wrong with the ones I had currently. So he does the fill in I didn’t get a manicure or anything I wanted.’For $75 it was the most basic experience with the lowest result. It’s nothing more than an assembly line for nails, you can’t make appointments, you get whoever grabs you. Like I said the work was decent but it wasn’t what I wanted and having to correct work myself is unacceptable.

They are very professional and the quality of service is EXCELLENT!! They’re the ONLY nail salon that I use, definitely recommend them for all services!! Any of the nail techs are a good choice but Adam is my favorite😍😍Thanks New York Nail Bar crew!!

Ive been coming here for months to get my nails done they do an absolute amazing job but recently in one of my visits ive noticed that the receptionist acts very unprofessional. I was sitting right next to another customer and the receptionist was talking sh**t about one of the employees to the customer sitting beside me. I come here to enjoy myself and to feel pampered not to hear about the salons problems. It makes the receptionist look very unprofessional and it makes the salon look even worse. If this is going to keep happening im going to have to go to another salon where i can relax and not hear about any drama!

This place is a dream come true. The special pedicures are glorious and the nail technician are fabulous and the lashes are good. The only reason I gave 1 star is because the nails are shaped nicely. The nail tech was very, very rough. His filing left my cuticles inflamed. The worst part is that he cut me with the drill - I mean actually sliced my cuticle to the point of bleeding. He was very messy with the acrylic application. All of my nails were attached to the cuticle. He didnt even buff the nails properly, so they are not smooth at all, and he rushed. Dont go here.

My friend and I visited the salon this afternoon. We both got pedicures but we felt as though our services were rushed for the amount of money that we paid. I honestly don’t felt like I got a proper greeting. This was the quickest pedicure that I have ever received. I felt as though I could’ve did it myself. A positive was not having to wait a long time but we were not able to be called to the pedicure center together.

Not my favorite waxing job. She used the same waxing strip on my lip and unibrow. Left a lot more wax than usual on my face. Had to touch up when i got home. Coronavirus procedures feel very safe. Must wear masks, nice lady making you wash hands upon entry and no crowd wondering around inside.

Would not recommend for eyelashes. Got mine done yesterday, just got strip for an event this weekend and today it is already lifting and the corner is so close to my eye it keeps stabbing my eye and with the glue used I cannot just take them off

Today was my 3rd time going to NY nail bar; the first time I went I got a lady that was 2nd to the last station on the left and she was rude, at first she was nice but kept pressuring me to get colored powder; I came in with a picture of what I wanted and it was basic it looked like clear acrylic nails with a light tan/pinkish clear coat over it very natural looking and she said she couldnt do it why she couldn’t do it I still don’t understand. She then started pushing these color powders I didn’t want (honestly I didn’t know why I would need that powder I just wanted regular acrylic nails with a gel polish) When I told her I didn’t want the colored powder she got irritated, she started doing my nails and I was asking questions she got up and went to get something and I got up to go look at the powders just to see what colors they had and if any were close to the picture I brought in but she legit yelled at me to sit. I should have walked out then who YELLS at a customer to SIT. When I explained what I was doing which was to look at the powders she was pushing so hard. She asked me if I wanted powder and at that point I just stuck with my answer of No, I didn’t feel like I had the freedom to look or ask anymore questions after that.The second time I went back I got Adam I avoided the previous technician at all costs. I loved my nails that Adam did.This past time I made an appointment with Adam; I got there at 12:45 for my appointment at 1pm. He was just starting a lady doing what looked like a full set. So don’t make any appointments because they don’t honor them I didn’t sit down till about 15 minutes past my appointment time. Adam does great work though and in my opinion HE is worth the wait.UPDATE: I have gone several times to NY nail bar now and no longer suggest going, it doesn’t matter what you get done or who does the nails they lift horribly after 1 week which tells me that their primer and the way they prime your nails for acrylics and gel sets is done poorly or the products they use are cheap.

I go here and get my nails done now and it’s nice and the wait time is not bad.

There nails left up to fast

My first time getting a pedicure since February. They literally rushed through the pedicure for my friend and myself. We came in after two individuals sitting next to us (being done by two other workers) and we left and they were still being done. They literally had us in and out the chair in 15 min. I will NEVER return to this place!!!! RIP-OFFS

The first seated nail tech by the register has poor quality when doing a full set. Did not lay the nail properly. Then cut my pinky nail Cuticle and didn’t take the proper attention, I repeatedly asked for alcohol pad and it was NOT given. The only concerned was payment. I will never return.

Got a fill in less than a week ago and the gel polish is peeling off in chunks. Came in to show them LESS than a week later and they wanted me to pay $20 to fix it. Horrible customer service. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a terrible experience here but I will be the last. WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK.
