When I first arrived I was immediately welcomed as if I had been there a million times before. It was an absolute pleasure and one of the best haircuts Ive ever received. Would definitely recommend, and the pricing is not outrageous as so many places can be.

Truett cuts my hair, my sons hair and several friends hair. He is a one man band and looks really comfortable to be that way. Cash/check only and prices went up slightly for 2020. Still a great value and haircut.Ive begged for him to have some type of online presence, but Im afraid that this is as good as its going to get.

Moved to Greenville about 6 months ago and struggled to find a barber shop that provided both quality with value. Today I found just the place. For 15 BUCKS, you can’t beat it.And that’s not even the best part. The barber (Truett, I believe) was exceptionally friendly and full of knowledge about Greenville - which makes sense, considering he’s been cutting hair here for 27 YEARS. And his experience shows. He polished off a nice cut and straight razor neck shave in about 10 minutes.Finally, being a newbie to this barber shop (and a youngster who’s used to carrying only plastic) I didn’t realize it’s CASH ONLY. I felt like an idiot when he informed me, but he was extremely gracious and told me to take my time getting it to him. Fortunately there’s a Bi-Lo within a mile of here, where I quickly retrieved some cash to pay the man! 5 STAR experience all around.
