A quick no hassle call I spoke with Aaron. In which I paid $252 to start the policy and $136 per month. I have the same coverage in addition to SR-22 and he saved me $90 per month. Strike the props from years gone by. I ALWAYS have to do my own calling around. When Titan (my former carrier) ripped me off for 100.00, they told me to go ahead and pay it, so I wouldnt ruin my credit. I paid it so that my insurance wouldnt be cancelled, then THEY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS. So I had to do my own shopping around, and wound up with National General for 35 extra $ per month. I pd the premium, and the 1st months pmt., and got a cancellation notice due to the lack of my signature. So I called AIS, and asked what to do, and should I come to the office to sign something, to be told that they were only open till 1 the next day. Since I had done electronic signature in the past, I asked if that was a possibility... she put me on hold for 7 minutes, and came back to say that they could do it that way, and cautioned me to return the email by the following Monday or the policy would cancel. After I submitted the necessary documents, twice, I later received a card letting me know that NG had rescinded the cancellation, and something about if you screw it up again, the cancellation will go through. AIS, youve lost that lovin feelin! I also didnt get the discount for paying online, and have since set it up myself. Thanks for letting me do what you should have done to start with. I hate red tape, but I hate knowing I paid someone who didnt even make an effort on my behalf, even more.
