I have worked since I was a student, and have found no other place with better opportunities and people than here. This is a GREAT work opportunity that provides practical work experience, excellent pay, flexible schedules, positive work environment and so much more! You get out of it what you put into it. The mindset you will develop and skills you learn while working here are applicable to any career path you purse. Proud to lead an organization that is recognized for good work at a national level from places like Business Insider, Forbes, USA Today, Comparably, and others!
I enjoy this resume building opportunity, employers that have seen my resume since working here have been very impressed with my accomplishments here. The workplace is actually fun and safe environment. The friends I’ve made here are friends that are all growth oriented and supportive. If you want to enjoy work and the people and gain great experience, honestly there is nothing else you could to do that would even compare to this.
Wonderful company and place to work! I not only found a job that allowed me to gain financial independence but also a supportive work environment to build my resume. The staff is great! They are fun & encouraging and work just as hard as you to do to help you reach your goals!
This is really an Incredible opportunity if you are willing to be a student of the business and work hard. I was recommended by a friend that I hadnt spoken with in a long time (which at the time seemed strange) but I Decided to come in for an interview anyway. At first I thought it was odd, but after they showed me the product and what they were about I knew it was a company I could vibe with. 4 years later this Job has entirely changed my life, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make real money. There is serious opportunity here that you can find many other places. Its a Bonus if your lucky enough to get Flip as your Hiring manager. That man is the GOAT.
Ronald Flippin is one of the most motivational and supportive managers ever. He cares deeply for his reps and passionately works hard to ensure the success of every individual. This is not a scam and if you are willing to work hard, this opportunity will change your life for the better. You can make a lot of money and gain valuable resume experience. If you have ANY doubts, feel free to call me directly.
There arent enough words to describe how much this company means to me. I know for a fact I wouldnt be the person I am today if it wasnt for Vector and Ronalds help. He genuinely cares about his representatives and their success but most importantly he sees you for what you can be. I dont recognize the girl I was before vector, this job gave me more than just money, it gave me confidence, the ability to push myself beyond anything I thought I was capable, and friendships I know will last a lifetime.
Great place to work, I was recommended by some friends.. At first I thought it was sketch but then quickly realized why my friends worked here.. Its actually pretty fun. Sales is hard when the product sucks but the product they have is incredible, super easy to sell. Its a great stepping stone to any career. I did it around playing soccer and made good income so its flexible.. (4k that fall) to be exact. Would definitely recommend it. The managers are pretty laid back as well, compared to my previous jobs (KFC) & other restaurants.. Give it a go!
Scam. Unpaid training which was really just anecdotes for hours. Good quality knives but youre better off finding a job that will actually pay you per hour instead of per interview because what college kid really has the time to drive back and forth? Not me.
It’s a pyramid scheme.Unpaid training. They try so hard to get you to buy their knife kit.You basically have to buy it if you want to work there. The kit was really expensive.Training felt like brainwashing. They are nice knife and all but honestly I don’t know anyone who could afford these knives.
I remember this place back in 2003 when I first graduated. Second job I had selling Cutco knives. Yeah its a scam, pyramid scheme to sell overpriced knives, fun for a month where you get to meet new people but takes every second of your life and you make peanuts even if you are the hardest worker. My issue was the driving distance back and forth. It was located off College St after exit of I40 but it seems they moved. They market this sales job to kids out of high school because new graduates are easy to manipulate and have parents who will shell out 150.00 for the knives so you can demonstrate the product. Good sales experience but yeah its an expensive experience.Cant say its slave ring, could have changed after I left who knows. If you have bad feelings about interviewing here I dont blame you, stay safe. I do find weird that most reviews touting this place dont mention the merchandise they sell, kinda fishy if you ask me.
I have had to opportunity to work with the Greensboro manager for the past three years. He is a great manager, and an even better person!! The company has a great work philosophy and atmosphere and I highly recommend that anyone looking for great experience apply!
This is a pyramid scheme. dont buy into this company
Great product, people, money, and valuable work and life experience. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you’re a hard worker and you like people, this job will change your life.
The BEST place to work ! You learn a lot of valuable skills and meet amazing hard working people !!
Dont waste your time. A lady called me and said I was recommended by my friend who is working there at the time. She explained about being a sales rep and not having to go door-to-door, getting paid $15/hr, saying scheduling was flexible, but was being very insistent and pushy about scheduling for an interview the very next day. She said that I was top priority over already people who have already applied, the experience for building up my resume and just feel-good things that a fresh graduate from high school or a college student would like. Anyways, she put me down for an interview but I just had a very bad feeling, like my gut was saying this was bad news. First red flag: I texted my friend asking if he had recommended me for this place called vector, and he had no clue what the company was about or that it even existed. Second red flag: I searched on google and one of the reviews for this place said it was a scam to drug and kidnap girls. Third flag: the website itself doesnt explain much at all, just what other people have to say about it. And there are many more I found and have researched on YouTube, but overall I decided not to go. So if you get a call or letter just do your research with any job before even thinking of scheduling for an interview.
My experience with the District Manager, Ronald Flippin, or ‘Flip’ was one of the most outstanding learning experiences of my life. He taught me the value of sticking to a program, being a man of your word, and over delivering for your customers. The Cutco opportunity set me up for the rest of my professional life. I’m the co-founder of two companies that depend on my expertise in sales and recruiting. Skills that I learned in the Cutco office with Flip.
Worked for this company for about 3 months and it worked out better than I expected. Yes it seems scammy and what people say about human trafficking is not true. They only want you to sell their product. It is a legit company but it is massively hiring anyone and it is $13.50/ per appointment. Not $15 or $17 like they say. Took a lot of my time to weekly go to those meetings and phone jam. They want you to call and list everyone you know and then you get paid per appointment or per sale you make, etc.I suggest you get a prior sales experience and build your good customer base before considering a job like this that requires a lot of your time.
Scam this is not a customer service job but a sales job. Clarify what type of job you are offering before you waste peoples time
I have worked here for 3 summers now and wouldnt work anywhere else. Flip truly cares about his people and wants the best for them.
Vector taught me a lot about business and gave me skills I could get no where else, and made me the person I am today and the knives are the best in the world and its not even close!!
They want you to spend $150 on knives so you can sell them door to door. Yeah right...
They do not pay you!!
I have never been here
