I got my wife a new ring from them for our 10 year anniversary and I will definitely be back to give my business again
Had a family heirloom necklace fixed and then my engagement ring. They are fair, professional and extremely trustworthy. I would give them more stars if possible!
I would give a 5-star review except for one thing: the staff member who has assisted us in a family heirloom ring repair apparently doesn’t respect our business enough to put on her mask. Although we felt the price was a bit expensive, the work was excellent, and done on-site in a very timely manner. However, we will find someone else for future jewelry repairs due solely to the disrespect of not wearing a mask to assist us.
I take all of my repairs and custom orders to Custom Jewelers! I love this place. Everyone is friendly and helpful every time I go in. Most recently, they made a custom piece for me that I am totally in love with. My grandmother had given me her vintage wedding rings, which I desperately wanted to wear, but my husband wanted me wearing the rings he gave me 23 years ago. We came to a compromise and I went to Custom Jewelers and had my diamonds set into my grandmothers rings. Her diamonds were smaller than mine so they had to do quite a bit of work, but they turned out beautifully and the results were just what I was expecting and requested. I will never have any custom work or repairs done anywhere except Custom Jewelers!!
Staff is professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I purchased an engagement ring in December, and returned with my Fiancé to purchase wedding rings. I suggest you see Callie and Gary before you purchase elsewhere. Thanks for all your help and will come by for future purchases.
Was a fantastic place. Was 2 days before Christmas and I needed my diamond put in my wifes engagement ring as I was upgrading her diamond. Ring needed some repair and diamond needed to be put in. Everyone else was 2 times as expensive and needed a week. Kali I believe was her name was super friendly and very clear and honest. She quoted me the price within 10 minutes and the ring was ready hours before they said it would be. She was a great help remembered me by name when I returned. No complaints.... ring looks amazing as well...
Honest and extremely customer-oriented. I came here to get my girlfriends pearl necklace clasp fixed, and the lady at the counter was exceedingly friendly and helpful. I hadnt even bought it here, but she still took it back to the jeweler several times to get it repaired, showed me how to use it, and refused to take any payment. The process was about ten minutes because she didnt feel it was fixed to her standards, and again it was just a wonderful experience - it would have cost $35 (that I was willing to pay) to get it restrung, and she still insisted that they just repair it for me because it was the honest thing.
Very pleased! Had to have a ring set resized at the last minute and they came trough. Everyone that I engaged was very help and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Custom Jewelers.
I went to three jewelry stores when trying to resize and fix a family engagement ring so i could propose to my girlfriend. The first (a local chain) said it would be several weeks since they use outside repair people and would cost thousands. The second (a national chain) refused to repair it because they didnt sell it. I came to Custom Jewelers after that. They said they could have it done in about a week since they have jewellers there and with the repairs, resizing, and cleaning it was well under a grand. A great place could not recommend highly enough.
Gary was fantastic to work with! I came in with a very specific and special request and he made it happen. I am blown away with the piece we created. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Helpful friendly staff, I had jewelry repaired. When I picked up my jewelry it was repaired & look new again. Wasnt expensive and efficient
Ahhhhhmazing service!!! My experience shopping with Custom Jewelers associates was exactly how I hoped it would be....customized, friendly, knowledgeable and excellent! Thank you so much for being a leader in local business within my community! I cannot imagine going to any other jeweler in town!
Only place I could find that was decent and open on a Saturday. Ring was available by the following Wednesday after a repair.Agreed upon only having 4 prongs fixed instead of the 8 it had, was quoted for the 4 at roughly $81. Wound up fixing all 8 - no price difference incurred on my end. A+++.Jeweler is there Tuesdays and Fridays (as informed by staff). They even adjusted a warped ring for us for free on our way out.I will be back again if I need any more ring repairs.
If you want to support a business that is about honesty and integrity Custom Jewelers is not the place to go. I had earrings that were stolen from me then sold to Custom Jewelers. When informing them of my jewelry and also filing a police report they insisted I had to purchase my earrings back. Since I did not have a receipt, hence the fact they were a gift and given to me over 10years ago, I did not mind. However, upon my police report, Detective Alexander questioned me about other jewelry sold with my earrings but nothing was mine besides the earrings. The total amount the store purchased my earring for and the other miscellaneous items was $130.00. I received a phone call from the owner insisting the total amount was $180.00 and that was just specifically for my earrings. He also insisted he had paperwork to prove it. When I arrived to the business the owner was not present and I was presented with falsified documents and the forging of the sellers signature. Immediately I asked to see the original copy of the receipt. I was told there were none. I then asked if the seller was given $130 for all the items sold what was the price paid for for my earrings? I was again told $180. Looking at the documents you could clearly see $130 marked through and replaced with $180. I told the employee I will not buy anything back until Im shown original receipts not altered documents. I received a call from the owner stating he made a mistake and the price was $130. I then explained if other things were sold that day and the seller was given $130 then its impossible for my earring to have been purchased for $130 alone. I told him about the falsifying of documents, the forging of the sellers name, and the mark through of $130 replaced with $180. I also informed him I seeked legal advice from a lawyer and was told I dont have to purchase my item back, they should be given back, and the store would have to contact the seller of the items in seeking reimbursement. He insisted I was lying, but I took pictures of everything and had valid proof. Long story short I reported everything back to the detective working my case and he was able to get my earrings back because he felt as if they were trying to take advantage of me and was up to something fishy. I later then found out that this store owner has faced serious felony charges for and not limited to unlawfully, willfully and feloniously did, with the intent to embezzle and fraudulently and knowingly misapply and convert to his own use, take and make away with one square modified brilliant cut diamond (princess cut)… and 2 trillion cut emeralds weighing 0.44 carats each. If you would like to read more about that case go to google and type Custom Jewelers Greensboro legal and you can find multiple articles. Hope this saved you guys from any of the trouble from this store! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT JEWELRY STORE WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE I RECOMMEND FENTRESS JEWELRY COMPANY OFF SPRING GARDEN!
