I called ahead on Wednesday and asked if I could come in the next day to have a dress resized in time to wear it that Sunday. I was told fine, no problem. When I arrived, the story immediately shifted, “You want a dress for Sunday, we are not open Saturday or Sunday, so really you want a 24-hour service. I doubt you want to pay for that.” I was stunned. I honestly felt profiled. I am a college professor who can afford to get dress altered – even with short notice.I asked to proceed with the fitting – because I really wanted to wear that dress.After I tried it on, the seamstress kept insisting I shouldn’t get it altered because it’s fashionable to wear oversized dresses. I kept insisting I didn’t like the fit. We went back and forth several times. Again, I was shocked…why was I almost begging to get my dress resized? It didn’t matter what she considered fashionable, it mattered that I wanted my dress altered.Finally, the seamstress agreed to take it in, so she pinned the sleeves. Then I went into the dressing room and put my original clothes back on.When I came out, she immediately took the pins out dress (which meant she had NO INTENTION OF FIXING IT) then said, “You need this done by tomorrow, I would charge you $50 for that. You don’t want to do that.” And just like that I realized I was being refused service. $50 to alter the sleeves on a $35 dress, and even if I was okay spending the $50, she had already removed the pins so I would have had to put it back on for a second fitting.I felt shocked, embarrassed, and profiled. I will never return.

The most talented seamstress. She took a dress I ordered online from an overseas merchant and made it a custom fit. Attention to detail was impressive.

She’s super sweet and professional! I dropped my dress off last week Wednesday or Thursday and it was ready Tuesday the following week! I also had my 2yo son with me whose into everything these days lol and while I was trying on dress (both times drop off and pick up) she helped me out a lot with him ❤️ Super nice and fast quality service.. won’t go anywhere else

Great customer service. She ensured that she understood what I wanted. My shirt and jacket were ready a day earlier than expected. She also wanted to make sure I was satisfied with her work, which I was. To top the experience off I had left my regular jacket and she met me outside in the rain to give it to me. Thank you.
