Employees there know what theyre doing, and are respectful, and work with you any way they can. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs an ignition interlock device installed their vehicle. I would also recommend not drinking and driving but hey maybe I should recommend not drinking at all because we all know the mistakes we make when were drunk so eliminate the possibilities and just dont do it like that fella on Saturday night live years back, stop it just stop it! Although its rather embarrassing to have an interlock in my car, I have never felt that the folks at Alcolock have treated me poorly... I go in and am acknowledged by name. They take care of my calibration and Im usually out the door within 10 minutes. They also did an excellent job with the initial install... If you have to have an interlock Id highly recommend this company...

The machine messes up ALL THE TIME, and EVERYTHING sets it off! Today it went off because of a Frappuccino I was drinking driving down the Interstate. The machine told me to pull over IMMEDIATELY and turn my car off so I had to cut across three lanes of freeway traffic and sit on the side of the road for 5 minutes until I could retest and even though I was fine the 2nd time, I still have to take the machine in to have it Recalibrated like every other week ever since it was installed in March, in spite of the fact that I have not had one single drink since January. There is no location in High Point like I was originally told, and the Winston-Salem office is only open on Thursday until 4pm. You can’t contact the location directly at all and it’s Ridiculously Sensitive to EVERYTHING! It’s a nightmare at best that this machine is more sensitive then the breathalyzer they use at the High Point Police Department. Two weeks ago it went off and locked me out because I ate a BANANA! It’s bad enough that you’re made to pay $75.00 a month for the machine, but you have to take at least an hour off of work every other week (if you’re lucky)to take it in to be reset when you’ve done NOTHING wrong! This is my one and only offense and I understand the point. But REALLY? It’s AWFUL! And to make matters even worse, on the LAST DAY it was in my car, I kept trying to blow into it and it kept giving me a Invalid Sample 01 reading. I was in the parking lot at Target and the alarm went off, horn blowing, lights flashing, everyone was looking at me! HUMILIATED.... I had to pull over and it sent me an immediate recall 05 (which means I missed a breathalyzer test) I called and was told that the machine is picking up on some (moisture) the entire experience was the worst of it all and on the day before I was set to get it removed. TOTAL NIGHTMARE, no one ever said a single word about this even being possible.

Devices are insufficient goes off for nothing at all been drinking water all day long no smoking or chemicals sprayed in car and have been giving me troubles since the day I got it installed. This is a money scam. Staff are friendly and reasonable is the only good thing I can say but the device itself needs to be inspected.

The devices themselves are a joke and a scam, but a serviceable way to re-obtain your right to drive.The employees here, however, are friendly, respectful, and sensitive to the difficult situation most people with these devices are in. At least, so far as the state of North Carolina DMV allows them to be.2/5 for the device, 4/5 for the staff.

They really helped me through a difficult time time time in my life. Everyone was very respectful and helpful towards me. They were able to send my paperwork directly to my attorney and save me a lot of time and headache in order to get my license back.

Don’t even bother with this place. Horrible customer service. They are useless. The machine messes up your car, when you call them they send an email to the branch that does the installation and they don’t bother calling you back! The call center refuses to give you the direct contact number. This time we had to sit and wait in the car, in the cold for almost 2 hours until we finally got a ride home leaving the car there.There is no supervisor to speak to. There is nothing to do until your year of hell with this so called “company” is over.

I had a different interlock company and had a lot of trouble. My counselor told me to give this company a call and it has been way cheaper and easier to deal with.

Jacob took very good care of me as I had a previous not so good experience. Very knowledgeable and helpful if you are having difficulty operating the system.

I have had to go to three of their locations because I travel and all of them have been way better than the last place I had to use. Its not fun being on an interlock but at least the people at alcolock dont cost you an arm and a leg

Excellent service. Installation staff and customer service representatives are very helpful. Device is simple to use and I have had ZERO issues in my first 2 months. I chose Alcolock because of the horror stories I have heard about other IID companies and so far it seems to be the right choice.

My attorney refered me here because he works directly with one of there managers, Jacob. They have taken care of everything the courts needed. This process stinks but they took care of what I needed!

They took good care of me when Im there in person. If I call them or have any questions, good luck getting answers. Half of the staff didnt even know the answers to the questions I had and I had to keep asking for a manager. The device itself is great and I havent had any issues and Im glad I chose alcolock. Their customer service center could be improved.**Edit: Ive been with alcolock since last april 2018 and besides their service center needing improvement the location itself is great and the people who work here are great!

So far its been ok...I chose them because everyone I know hated smart start...so I said hell naw...AlCOLOCK BEEN OK SO FAR.... NO PROBLEMS

In the beginning its a very new experience, sometimes troubling, you learn what you can and cant eat or drink, but Jacob Harding especially and the employees at Alcolck what they do to help you go above and beyond help, theres been a few times i needed help after hrs or right then, and got the help i needed.. one time i ate a banana and failed a test they helped with that, another time my vehicle needed to be worked on, phone call away...

Jacob is awesome very personable and helpful will def recommended to anyone!!!
