Do not let this company into your home, they are absolutely the worst company that we have had to deal with. The employees were very unprofessional and directly lied to us on multiple occasions about the work being done at our home. After having a pipe bust in our kitchen wall, which ran water under our hardwood floors and buckled the flooring, our insurance company sent Servpro out to do a water cleanup service. We had a plumber come and repair the water leak several days before Servpro was sent to see about the water damage. When Servpro first came out to inspect the flooring, they had to have the 2 layers of linoleum flooring beneath the hardwood flooring tested for asbestos since our home was built in 1970. A company that Servpro wanted us to use for the testing came out and took samples and was sent to the lab for testing, which came back positive for asbestos on the bottom layer of original linoleum installed when the home was built. There is a 24 hour turn around on the asbestos testing process. While the flooring was being tested, Servpro came out on the second day and took the kitchen cabinets out and then proceeded to cut out a 2’ x 8’ section of sheetrock behind those cabinets. Their technician cut through the sheetrock joint compound in 5 places. Servpro did not test the joint compound and it contained asbestos. Their technician cut through a material that was supposed to be tested because of the age of the home and released asbestos particles into the air of my home. The technician never sealed any of my door or entryways connected to the kitchen to keep anything contained to that one room, which resulted in any asbestos particles being able to flow throughout my home. We had a second testing company come to get samples of the sheetrock for the asbestos testing, which came back positive for asbestos. We contacted Servpro’s office about the sheetrock being cut by their technician and told the lady there that they would be responsible for the cleaning of our home if the test came back positive for asbestos that their technician cut through without testing it. She immediately got an attitude with us and became very unprofessional in the way she treated us. She then tried to tell us that their technicians were highly trained and could visually look at the material and determine if it contained asbestos without sending it to the lab for testing. All materials have to go to a lab for testing. Thirty minutes after this call, the lady at Servpro calls back to say they are coming to pick up the drying fans because my insurance wasn’t going to authorize them to be used any further. This was another lie that we were told by the Servpro employees at the office. The office knew they had messed up not doing the proper testing and securing of the room where work was being performed and was now trying to cover up everything and get their equipment and get out. I immediately contacted my insurance after this call and they told me they never authorized for any drying equipment to be removed from the site. Servpro’s employees directly lied to us multiple times concerning the negligence of their employees and is now trying to cover it up like they did nothing wrong. After my fiancé had left a negative review on Servpro, we were contacted by the operations manager trying to apologize for their employees actions and unprofessional behavior with us and said they wanted to make things right. The operations manager tried to immediately offer the money back for the service their company performed, and I told them that was not good enough, because now we had to have our home HEPA vac cleaned because of asbestos particles being released into the air because Servpro’s technician cut through a material containing asbestos without doing the product testing and without proper securing the entryways of the room they were performing work in. We told the operations manger they were going to be responsible for the cleaning of our home because of the negligence of there employees. We had very unprofessional service from this company.
1st contacted by Misty from the ServPro Office after our house was damaged by a fire. Her professionalism, knowledge and genuinely kind attitude made every step of the restoration process a pleasant endeavor from start to finish. Abraham was our Field Services contact whom also provided the same level of expertise and attitude provided by Misty. He was also my contact for any concerns and questions that may have come up at our home concerning the repairs being conducted. He always provided fast and courteous results.Very satisfied and although I do not want to go through this process again anytime soon, I will definitely remember this experience.
My house required water damage and mold remediation cleanup. Along with replacing flooring, some drywall and complete interior painting. Abraham and his crew did an excellent job completing the job.

I have a leaky basement. I had gotten moldy but did not realize it since there was a lot of old junk that needed to be removed. One company came and started removing the junk then saw the mold and backed out. I called another company to remove the junk and told them about the mold. They said they would not come. I had called Servpro about the mold remediation. The woman who came to do the estimate said they could also remove junk. I wish I had called Servpro first. Not only did they give me a thorough and timely inspection, they got my quote to me very quickly. She also gave me advice - We can remove the mold but unless you get the water problem fixed, it will just return. She recommended calling a basement company to look at the water seepage situation. I would not hesitate to call Servpro of Greensboro North again for work. The folks on the phone are incredibly nice and patient. I was such a nervous Nellie about the situation and they were calm and reassuring. In addition, the crew that came out called to say they were on the way. They were on time and extremely patient. They worked very hard to get the terrible dungeon that is my basement neat as a pin. There was nothing they could not handle and told me so. They were right! They were Mario, Armani, and Vinny (Vinnie?). I would hire them again in a skinny minute!
Servpro did a great job Britney smalls did wonderful and any point of contact that we had when I called to have them first come out they were there the next day to start the medication from the water damage and did a fantastic job the crew was excellent and very professional after that was done and I needed the repairs to be done Britney was able to make sure that the information was relayed to the repair company and assisted me greatly and getting up with Misty and the repair cruise in order to get the job done

Had a pipe leaking in the wall, caused water to come thru kitchen floor. House built in the 70s so we had to have the floors tested for asbestos, came back positive. They removed the cabinets and cut thru the sheetrock and the joint compound, did not test the compound and it turned out to have asbestos also. They released the asbestos all throughout our home and then tried backing out when we started telling them that we were bringing in another company to assess the damage. They lied several times about the test results, told us it came back negative for the wall and we had a 2nd company test it, came back positive. Please do not use this company. They argued with us, they treated us very poorly, and they put our whole familys health at risk.

So far step one they removed linoleum an rotted molding and flooring and Sheetrock and sprayed for mold and quarantined off the affected area from the rest of the house and went under the house to discover the damage there. This caused a whole kitchen renovation unexpectedly, they were very timely with their response and effectively took all of ideas and put them into an actual kitchen. I was very impressed with the guys who took care of my remediation. They were courteous and friendly, and efficient.I had water damage from an old washing machine hose leaking. It was a lot more damage than I could see; Walls and under floors. But, they were able to remove all the tainted materials.Id like to personally thank Sergio especially.He took charge and answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. I had water damage coming from the shower of the unit above me and Servpro sent out Terry and Marco to clean up the water damage. They were very professional and courteous and did a great job removing the padding under my rugs and making me feel better that the carpet was going to be ok. Then they set up the huge fans, that dry up everything, and they sprayed something to help take away the smell and stops mold from spreading. I give Terry & Marco a 10 for their professionalism, and the Servpro company 5 stars for hiring them.

My water damage happened in March; my insurance company referred me to Servpro. Extremely grateful that they did. The entire process was tedious, exhausting, and being without a large portion of my home for several weeks was a nightmare. Servpro of Greensboro really helped, I spoke with the ladies in the office almost everyday, they were always available to answer questions or to explain next steps. The technicians that came out were efficient and did a wonderful job; I cannot thank them enough. I used this company from start to finish; repairs were done in a snap. I really cant say enough great things about this company. Kudos to whomever is in charge, you are running a well oiled machine. Will refer with no hesitation!!

I had a very stressful experience when I came home from vacation and my entire house was flooded. My insurance company recommended that I call Servpro. I am so glad I did. They arrived at my house within 2 hours of my call to start cleaning up. They are currently working on my repairs and I cant wait to see the finished product! I will definitely refer Servpro to friends and family!!

Review update:We received the check from Servpro of Greensboro North.In October of 2017, we hired Servpro of Greensboro North to complete repairs on our home. In December of 2017, Servpro of Greensboro North determined that the company would not be able to move forward with certain aspects of the project. However, in January of 2018, Servpro notified us that they could complete painting per scope. After completion of the painting per scope, we were again notified that we were owed a refund from Servpro.Over the course of one month, we have made numerous calls to Servpro requesting payment of the refund, but our requests are being ignored.We are hopeful that this will be resolved without the assistance of the courts, the Better Business Bureau, the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors and the states Homeowners Recovery Fund.Once this matter has been resolved, we will update our review.
The other day the basement of my house flooded, so I call Servpro for some help. Well the technician got here and told me things they could do like save my carpet for me. Now 3 days later they come back to pick up equipment and check for anything else. My carpet has to be tore up because it was a completely different color and has a smell. If I know the only thing they were going to do is using a huge vacuum to suck up the water and put 6 fans down to blow the carpet dry I would have call the carpet clears for one tenth of the price.
(customer service review only-do not know quality of repair work). We called the line designated on their website for mold issues. Online its described as the emergency line. The woman who answered was very unfriendly, rude and generally unprofessional. She stated someone would call us within 24 hours. That was a week ago and we have yet to hear from them. Not impressed.
Called them for a leak on my ceiling. They made a hole and put fans. They sent an invoice later on and charge too much for such a small job. Call them to find out any discount, owner threaten to put fine instead. Not satisfied with the way they behave, Owner is full of attitude no customer service. I got my job done with someone else the way cheap they gave me estimate.
Servpro is an excellent company to use, Austin and Mitchell came by about a month ago to check on some equipment we had at our house, they seemed very professional and just knew how to keep a smile on my face, highly recommend this company.

Wish it was possible to give negative star ratings.A scorched wall in a kitchen took 4 months to complete. Work starting and stopping for weeks on end. On top of that GARY, the project manager lied to the insurance company to save face for the renovation taking so long. But that wasnt enough so his manager who i never even met told the insurance company the same lie. Apparently (according to the never never world of servpro) i told them to stop work so i get refinish the floors in the living room (where the most traffic occurred). So that makes perfect sense to have work stopped to get the floors looking nice then have servpro drag an oven and cabinets, one of which got misplaced over them. Incredibly odd that a company who says they do not work for the insurance companies has such a cozy relationship with them that the insurance company is more than ready to take their word over their customers. NEVER EVER AGAIN

The actual work done by the Servpro team was satisfactory; we had a water heater leak in our basement that affected carpeted areas that needed to be dried. In order to get the job done properly, I elected to have an emergency/priority crew come to service the basement rather than waiting a week for an estimate since I didnt want mold and mildew to start growing. After paying a $500 deposit, I asked a few times if we could get a ballpark estimate on what the cost would be. Mary in the office was always helpful and professional, but she was unable to give me a clear figure until the operations director created an invoice for me two weeks after the job was completed. Mary did work with me on several itemized costs, and that I appreciate. There were items on the final invoice that I felt were inflated and unfair, and I felt that they could have disclosed to me the daily rental cost of the air movers and dehumidifier so that I could have made an educated choice. I was trying to take care of this problem out of pocket without filing an insurance claim. I would say that if you have a major project that your homeowners insurance is going to cover, then ServPro is a good choice. If you have a small-to-medium job that needs to be done and may be out of pocket, do some due diligence. Even after the invoice negotiations, I believe I paid about thirty percent more than I should have for the work.

I had a leak in the attic. These guys never provided the written estimate, after finally getting a verbal estimate they charged almost double what they quoted me for the water clean up. Sent a guy to the house to provide estimate for the repairs, after a week with no word I called. The lady at the office informed me that I was moved to the back of the waiting list for estimates because they give priority to non-insurance payers. Awful customer service, unprofessional, and just a terrible company.
