All of the employees at this spa are exceptionally friendly and polite towards the customers (even when Ive witnessed customers behaving badly). The nail technicians do a great job giving each customer their full attention. This is the ONLY spa I trust to do my eyebrows correctly (they really listen to what you want)!

I’m from New York and I come see my boyfriend here. I was nervous at first but today was my second time getting my nails done with them and I love it. I will continue to go there everytime I’m in town. Great price and awesome quality !

I want to thank Anna, she was professional, kind and provided great service. She did a wonderful job on my manicure and pedicure. My visit to the shop was very relaxing and pleasant. I rarely have the chance to be pampered and this was needed.

I think they do a very good job. Having said that I dont get anything fancy. Just a gel manicure or plain pedicures. However, I take my young daughters (7 and 12) there to get manicures as a birthday treat. All the staff are super kind to them.

The Nail Technician Kelly at Solar nails in Greenbelt md, I showed her a photo of the nails that I wanted to get and I asked her to do ombre and she showed me but it didn’t look right so I asked if she could just paint it all blue and she didn’t take of the other color off my nails so it’s still there and it seem like she had an attitude or something and whenever she drilled my nails she hit my skin and I just think that was unprofessional.

Paid for all the bells and whistles for pedicure and got dipped treatment on my fingernails. Nails chipped and cracked within a week. Design was done very poorly. Im not sure who is giving this place its good reviews. This is my third and last time giving it a chance.

Visited for the first time today. Clean space. I am pleased with my nails. Perfectly done and gave me exactly what I asked for. I will be returning. A hidden gem.

They did such a great job with my nails! i absolutely love them. i got a gel acrylic and it has lasted so far a week with no chipping or breakage (fingers crossed they don’t break now that i say that lol). I went to Tim and he was very professional and detail oriented.

The staff here are very professional and nice. My nails are ALWAYS done correctly. They are always honest about the wait time and never rush my service. I really appreciate this salon because their aren’t many good ones left.

Barely 1week after i did my nails it got bad. But customer service was good and the people was nice but I’ll definitely not return.

The lady who did my nails was so kind and was very detail-oriented. When I left the salon, my nails looked GREAT! Unfortunately, that did not last very long. They chipped and cracked within 2 days. Very disappointing.

Good quality and prices. Very friendly and accommodating. Even though walk-ins are welcome, I recommend calling ahead since they can get pretty busy sometimes.

In search of a new nail shop, I stumbled upon Solar. Opted for a mid-level pedicure (they’ve options) and a gel overlay. Although it was almost closing time, I received excellent service from Tim. He actually listened to my requests/instructions and sent me on my way with a smile. I shall return.Update: subsequent visit received excellent nail job (by Tim again) but mediocre service from the pedicure ladies usurping way too much of my time - therefore I’m reducing my rating.

My daughter and I went to get our nails and feet done. We enjoyed the experience so much that we went back the next day to get our eyelashes done. My only complaint is the parking is minimal close to the door.

The nails looked pretty but not even a week of having the nails on, the gems started coming off and the nails would break in half if I closed my drawer or locker. I am very disappointed with the outcome of these nails because they looked good, but the quality was not anywhere close to good.

I like this low-key place for pedicures. I take a magazine, turn on the massage chair and chill. I also get legs waxed there... she works fast and does a good job.

My fiancé and I just moved to the Lanham Maryland area and I usually get my nails done in Oxon hill md. Since that’s far from me, I decided to search for a new nail salon( it was time for a change anyway). After reading a lot of reviews for different shops I click on solar nails and it was a great decision. I called and Tim answered the phone I asked for the next available appointment and was set. I arrived to the nail shop and Tim was waiting. He asked me what service I want I told him and he exceeded my expectations. My nails are not thick, wrongly shape or thin polish spots... Their perfect. He didn’t rush he took his time but moved quickly. I was in and out in an hour(I get gel polish and tips). Thank you Tim for your wonderful service and awesome work. I will see you next time.

I absolutely love my nails! He took his time and designed them exactly how I asked. I didn’t wait too long and the environment is very friendly even with young children!

Lady that did my nails, she was very rough n my acrylic overlay on my natural nails are uneven size wise, they are not painted evenly, they are file lean not to mention some nails have too much acrylic n others thin.....first n last time!

I don’t know why this place has so many good reviews they must have pay ... I went there to get a mani-pedi worst place ever !!! The guy who did my nails didn’t even bother to clean my nails or cuticles he just removed the old nail polish, shaped my nails and paint them again that’s all he did and I pay $35 nobody else was there so is not like he was in a hurry wouldn’t recommend this place 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Clean, friendly, and theyr excellent!I just introduced my mom to Solar Nails Spa, after she had been going to the same place and the same person for almost 20 years! She started to complain that she felt that her nail tech was rushing while doing her pedicure, sometimes it would hurt, and her designs were almost the same each time.She ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED herself! She loved her pain free pedicure, Ms. Anna is AWESOME! Ms. Anna did a beautiful butterfly with cherry blossoms as her design, very talented! So is Amy that works there too.She said she has a new place to come to get her mani & pedis now!Linda does my pedicures and Tim does the Dippolish manicures and their terrific!!!!!! The entire staff is professional, kind, and multitalented. U wont go wrong here!

Oh my gosh when i tell you my eyebrows are hideous that would be an understatement... I’ve been there before but this time this man totally messed me up.. this wouldn’t be a place ide recommend any one to go to... at least for eyebrows because I’ve never done my nails there... neither do i plan on doing so

Although I dont live in Greenbelt anymore, I go just to this nail salon and would recommend the place to everyone.Very good service, relaxing atmosphere (soothing instrumental tunes) and the prices are quite affordable. I also have a problem with the ingrown nails on my toes, but the people at this salon do their job neatly, painlessly and quickly - usually I do manicure+pedicure, and together doesnt take more than an hour!Plus, the wonderful massage that you get there during the procedure - and all your stress is gone :)So, very recommended!
