This was the best decision I made for our wedding! They know exactly what they are doing and are so friendly. I worked with Beckie. She was so accommodating and very easy to work with. The food is great! And the building is perfect! Our wedding here was simply beautiful and all our guests enjoyed the lay out! Two bars, dining hall and a ballroom!it was perfect

Food was hot and very tasty. The family style broasted chicken was delicious. Many sides to share plus dessert. You might have to wait a bit to be seated, but its worth it. Have a drink first in the large bar area. Waitresses were awesome .

Every last bite was delicious! Fried mushrooms and cheese curds were the best ever. Definitely will go back for family style all you can eat fried cod.

Was at my mothers memorial at Eddie Whipps. The meal was great they took care of us very well.

Their specials are very good, especially the Friday walleye special. They are usually closed to the general public on Saturdays due to their wedding business.

After a few visits they know your name and what you like.... very friendly staff and great food.

Best prime rib I have ever had

Had my wedding there in 2001 and went there for 2 weddings since. Food is good and never had or seen any issue. Its out there so would recommend setting up a shuttle to a hotel.

Eddie Whipps is AMAZING! Was there earlier today to enjoy an amazing Thanksgiving meal with family :) We ordered the broasted chicken which was fabulous! It was very well breaded and tasted amazing! It was not dry like I have had in the past. It really is a fantastic meal! Years ago one of my cousins had her wedding reception here and it is as great as I remember! The servers are very friendly and are ready to make your experience great! I highly recommend!Side note: I ate WAY too many cream puffs xD

Staff were wonderful. Our server brought my daughter a plate of green beans and tomatoes to the wedding party table because that is all she wanted for dinner and supplied us with candy in case we needed to bribe her. They were so thoughtful.

Classic Wisconsin supper club feel with decent broiled chicken. Be aware that they do not accept cards, however.

The food is pretty crummy. The potatoes taste instant, the vegetables are tasteless, and the service crummy. It is hard to believe the people like the food or the service. It makes no sense that they dont take credit cards. When the place eventually goes out of business, I wont be too surprised.

Whipps is one of our favorite local places to eat on Sundays. It is accommodating to families with kids which is a huge plus. The service is great and food is hot and ready to eat when you sit down. We had our wedding here 10 years ago and will continue to make many memories coming here.

Service was great but food was mediocre.

We hadnt been here in a long time and wanted to get the family style chicken on a Sunday night. So we came in by the bar and it wasnt real busy and we stood there for probably close to 5 minutes before a bartender even asked us what wed like to drink. At one point a bartender lady looked at us but then went to help a kid waiting to get change for video games. Well after close to an hour wait we got a table... and this is a night where everyone is ordering family style chicken dinner with a huge dining area. So the food... The chicken was pretty good but the mashed potatoes were instant, the dinner rolls were hard! The vegetable was green beans with some kind of gross sauce on them. Stuffing was ok and the knee caps for dessert were good. Overall highly disappointed and will not be back for a long time! Not to mention their prices for the kids are ridiculous. It was $1 per year . Do you know how much a 6 year old eats?? Not even close to $6 worth of food. Dont come here with the family if u have kids. Oh and to top it all off they dont take credit cards. It is 2017 and they dont take credit!! Who the hell carries cash

One of our favorite places to go on a Friday night. Go early if you want to try their delicious cheese curds. We also have went there on Sunday for their chicken and very delicious.

We go there when open to public. Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Service really good and love the daily specials. Have been there for many weddings alway do a very nice job.

We had our wedding reception in October at Eddie Whipps and couldn’t have been more pleased at how everything turned out. Bridget and Beckie were amazing to work with and answered every question I had with a quick response time! I cannot tell you how many people complimented us on the food and staff-every single person was helpful and made the night flow so well we never had to stress about anything. From the Bride and Groom stand point, I know money is a huge factor when choosing a venue. We couldn’t believe how affordable it was with everything that came with the package we selected! I am already recommending Eddie Whipps to people who are engaged so they can have the wonderful experience we had :) Again, thank you to everyone at Eddie Whipps who made our night so perfect!-Derek & Jess

Really good chicken...baked and broasted. They support Denmark students, and I appreciate that very much. They prepared a wonderful banquet for Denmark Community School.

Friendly staff, very warm and inviting with great food and drinks. They do NOT take debit/credit cards but do have an ATM with fee.

I have never had a bad meal at Whipps and you can’t find nicer people from the waitress to the bartenders to the owners. We enjoy going as often as we can and our kids from out of town can’t wait to come home and go to Whipps for fish or chicken. They are a wonderful family owned business .

We held a benefit for my nephew and we had a great experience. The staff was awesome and helpful and accommodating. I would recommend anyone to hold your benefit here.

Went for the first time with my family, on Sunday July 15.We all ordered what we wanted. I was the only one who wanted the broasted chicken, everyone else wanted baked. I told the waitress I only eat breast, and she took my order. She did not tell me there was a problem with my order, or that breasts are extra. I got wings and a thighs.I do have to say the rotini salad and three bean salad were very good. However the dressing was the worst ever, and the gravy had lumps of something. We will not return. I assumed all you can eat chicken meant you could get the pieces of chicken you wanted, not have the wait staff dictate what you can eat.Very disappointed!

Well I will say the food was pretty good. The place is big enough. Things I didn’t like, only one bathroom in the whole place. Also not to be picky but the dining setup is pretty cramped and the dishes were inconsistent lol but the staff was amazingly helpful.

How can you not love a restaurant with good food that charges us $22 for two dinners? We love the home-cooked food there. We love picking on Bridget! Occasionally on a very busy night the chicken is dry or the perch greasy. We dont care, since it is right around the corner. They are like family....yes, there is an un-official two drink minimum wait, but geez, they gotta make their money somewhere...and hanging with the whole neighborhood is a great part of the experience. We go often!

Overall a bad experience.The chicken that was served was all bone, the dressing was horrible, and the coleslaw and potatoes flavorless. The desserts were ok, and the sauerkraut was very good.But, it was supposed to be a chicken dinner, and we had a problem getting chicken.Will never return. My family can go to Golden Corral and get chicken, as well as Festival Foods which has a $6.00 8 piece chicken deal on Sunday. For $6.00 we can get more chicken at Festival Foods, than we could get at an all you can eat chicken dinner at Eddie Whipps!

My wife and I have been here twice. The wait is insane. I spent an hour just waiting for the table and another 40 min when we sat down. The worst part is that there was PLENTY of open tables and staff available to seat us! I have no idea why people like this place.
