I finally got the guts to go get my wisdom teeth out. I went in for the SCHEDULED exam. Everything went great. I went in for my SCHEDULED extraction. Everything went great (except I got rushed out. I was kinda disoriented) but anyways, I needed a deep cleaning. I went to go schedule that and was told that I am no longer allowed to schedule an appointment because apparently I missed an appointment back way before my last two appointments. How does that make sense?! I explained this to the front office and they wouldn’t even listen. She just said “one strike you’re out” so now I have to find another dentist. And get this process started. All over again. When I hate going to the dentist enough as it is. So frustrating.

Sara, the Dental Asst exceeded my expectations in providing treatment & care. She exhibits the standards of excellence in customer service. As a survivor of a traumatic childhood dental experience, she continually reassured me during almost 4 hrs of treatment. It is my opinion she qualifies to be lead of the team. Dr Rusch & Sara work very well together & make an excellent team. Good work you!

I love the dentist there. They are so kind and welcoming. I had my 5 year old stepdaughter with me and I was told I couldn’t bring her in but they made it exceptional for today because my husband had to work however my visit was very comfortable and I really thank the staff and the doctor and his assistant for taking really good care of me. I needed a lot of denta l work and was reluctant to see any dentist, but a friend recommended the smile dept to me so I made an appointment. I have to say that it was the best decision Ive ever made. Im extremely grateful for personal effort they made to make me feel relaxed comfortable and they listened to me. I went to this dentist office for the first time last week, and I was sooo nervous, but everyone that works here was kind, patient and friendly. I even got to watch my favorite comfort show while I tried to forget that they were pulling a tooth. They took my worries and fears seriously and did a great job on my tooth.

As most of the reviews indicate, the staff is very friendly - and as long as a client has insurance everything is great. However, when I no longer had insurance they introduced me to their dental plan. Supposedly it covered something like two sets of X-rays, two cleanings and a few other things. So I paid over $300 for this plan. However when I went in for a cleaning, it was not covered. They stated the dental plan didnt cover an actual cleaning and they wanted another $125. Needless to say I walked out and I would not recommend them to anyone who does not have insurance because of the sly and underhanded practices.

They do a great job here. I got a cavity fix this time and I was in and out. My only thing is that they rush you out. Last time I was rushed out after a 2 hour appointment and all disoriented I had to sit in my car 10 minutes till I could gage my self. With this time it was not as long an appointment but still rushed out once they where done. Would have preferred take 5 minutes to just sit.

I hadnt been to the dentist in years and finally ended up scheduling an appointment here. I had quite a few cavities that needed to be filled, but I was able to schedule my appointments pretty close together! Within just a couple weeks I had all 3 appointments done. The staff is very friendly and caring. I am glad I made the decision to go here!

We have been bringing our granddaughter here for a couple years now and have been extremely happy with everyone in the office. Everyone is really nice and helpful even with special requests. We will continue to visit the smile dept!

I am the biggest baby when it comes to dentistry! I have had a lot of bad experiences. However, nearly everyone at The Smile Department is amazing! I have been going here for a couple of years now and with the exception of only 2 people, I have found the doctors, assistants, and staff friendly, caring, and compassionate! Highly recommend this dentist office! Staff is very caring and really helps work around your schedule! My entire family comes to the office; myself, husband and two children. They are very great with children and tend to the adults needs as well. Sadora is awesome! I love this place! -- best dental experiences I have ever had! The staff are very polite, helpful, and friendly and the doctors are patient and very personable. I was so relaxed during my last visit (getting multiple fillings in one visit, so not a short appointment!), that I fell asleep for a few seconds in the chair. That has never happened before -- usually, Im very tense and nervous during dental appointments. Im so happy with my teeth -- great job on the fillings and my teeth look awesome now! I love smiling!

My husband and I went here for our cleanings and they did a great job cleaning our teeth. Really took their time to improve our smiles! Because of how well we were treated and taken care of, we brought our three children here and they had such a great experience and as always another great treatment of x Rays and cleaning. This dentist office is clean and well kept and everyone there is friendly and it makes the experience of going that much better. Highly recommend this dentist office!

The smile department exceeded my expectations. I called because I had a throbbing tooth, and they got me in right away. Not only did they get the first exam done, but they were able to the root canal right away as well. All the staff are very nice and very helpful. I came for fillings and they got done well but I left with them too high. When I came back the new shorter lady shaped them absolutely perfect. After a month (due to my schedule) I finally felt like I had my mouth back. She made this visit incredible and it just goes to show experience matters. She said she had been in the industry for ten years and she worked on my teeth like an artist. I hope she adjusts well there and the ladies make her incredible self feel at home.

Christina Is the office manger at the smile Department. From some of the dental offices I have been to, she has definitely been the rudest office manger I have ever came by. I came in the smile Department to talk to Christina about a couple things and she does not no how to talk to people in a nice way, she was very rude and definitely makes you feel like you are wasting your time even talking to her. If I were a Doctor at to smile department I would look for a new office manger. Very rude, mean and dose not know how to talk to people. I was VERY disappointed

I’m so happy that I found the smile department. I called to make an appointment and Jordan got me in the next day. I had to bring my two-year-old daughter and they helped me watch her. They colored with her, set up a movie, gave her a balloon and we’re over all very nice and friendly upfront. Shannon was very gentle when taking x-rays, normally they are really painful. The office is very clean and everyone seems like they have your best interest at heart. I feel like I’m in good hands and that’s important when you’re trusting someone to work on your teeth! I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment. I would highly recommend.

Im going on my third with The Smile Department and I normally have crazy anxiety over dental work but after my first two appointments with them its finally subsiding. Super friendly plus all the latest dental equipment available, blows any dentist I have been to out of the water.

I hadnt been to a dentist in awhile because I couldnt find one I liked.. but they have Wonderful staff! I had a super quick and easy check up. I had my 2 month old daughter with me who got a little fussy but the ladies had no problem playing with her to keep her happy! I definitely will be doing all my dentistry here from now on!

Let me start off by saying I am a mom of Triplet boys who are 5 years old.. One in which is on the spectrum. And I have a daughter who is only a year and a half older. My son who is on the spectrum just started school this year. He is having a VERY hard time. I have been with the smile dept for about three years now. I have now missed 2 apts total. They were routine cleanings/check ups. This last one was because once again I had absolutely no notice and had to go to my sons school to help assist him. So because I havent given a 48hr notice I was put on same day status. My Husband works days and I work nights, and we have no family or friends. Its just us. Always has been. I have two crowns that I have been putting off because I never know when I am going to be called to help with my son. I finally call, thinking its time. Yes, I am a mom. I have constant things happening in my life, but I need to take care of myself too. And I get told I can only come in on Wednesday and Thursdays because thats what was approved (which no one even cared to ask if those days work) and I have to call that day to see if there is an opening. Which when is there ever going to randomly be an opening?? And then what, I call off from work to get my dental work done? We live paycheck to paycheck. So in other words getting my teeth fixed isnt happening. I get to continue to have a huge hole in my back tooth.

Despite the receptionist being new and seems as though they might have overbooked doc today, the DA Jennifer handled it very well helping him with my fillings. We’ve come here as a family for a few years, sadly I considered switching last week. I was called from front office to reschedule my kids appointment 3 times in one day, same day of the appointment. They were at school so it wasn’t easy for me to do. I Went in today thinking I was getting a cleaning and I was actually in for multiple fillings. Overall the back staff is amazing and my children and I have no issues. They made sure I was comfortable, And the job is done that’s what is important!

I went in for a new patient consultation with many problems with my teeth. I had missing chunks on all 6 of my front teeth and tenderness in most. They helped me in such a nice Manner while doing the consultation and then decided to fix all of my front teeth right there. 6 filling and restorations!!!!! They said they didn’t want me to have to go another minute being self conscious to smile. This is the best dentist I have ever been to!!! Highly recommend!!

The hygienist, Melanie, was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The dentist. Dr. Rusch was also friendly and informative. I look forward to my next cleaning. I love this place so much and can’t say enough good things. They take care of their patients and it is so clean! Dr Isom is amazing! She cares and very personable. This office gave me my confidence back. They did 6 crowns on my front top teeth and even managed to make my crooked teeth straight in the process! What they did to my teeth was a miracle! My children do not even dread going to the dentist anymore! They can watch all of their favorite shows on Netflix and they have their own space. We had previously been to an office where they crowd 20 kids into one room without curtains! Thank you for being amazing! And I will also say that although I do not have Medicaid now, when I did they were just as amazing. They treat everybody with respect. We are a family of customers for life and I have referred many people here after the care I received. Thank you so much!

My whole family has initiated our care at the smile department. We have had previous bad experiences with other dentists. My husband was told he had to have his tooth pulled or receive a root canal on a tooth that The Smile Department said they could fix. The smile department said all he needed was a filling. The ladies upfront in reception are also amazing. We are new to having dental insurance, and they were excellent at explaining our deductible, and amounts in which we are responsible. They are very friendly and we’re able to get my whole family in for appointments on the same day, and within a reasonable time frame.

I was a fan of this dental office until my run in with Barb this morning... Im almost 30 years old and for some reason she feels it necessary to be in contact with my father to book and confirm appointments. Then she has the nerve to treat me like an irresponsible adult when i dont show up to an appointment. When i told her i was frustrated and thought i might find a new dentist, her response was great.

I couldnt want anything else from a dentist office. This is a top notch big league office. From the communication timeliness to their professional staff and excellent dental work. This place rocks. The only thing that is missing a foosball table or even an air hockey table.

If I could I would give zero stars. I have been trying to figure out how much we owe after getting 3 different bills with 3 different balances in a two month span. I tried calling them a dozen times, leaving voicemails with no return phone calls. I finally get a hold of someone, 3 months later. Customer service is not their thing apparently.
