Everybody at this location was very helpful. I called several times because of flight delays and each time I spoke with a different person. They were all very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. I wish every car rental location was this good.
Car was great. Service was friendly. There was a mix up in the time I was pick up the car from the airport. My fault. The only tough part I waited 20 minutes at the counter before speaking with any one. If they are going to be out side there needs to be away the can have a customer reach them. It was an airport pick-up.
Best rental car experience Ive ever had, I dropped off my rental at the great falls Airport and your female employee behind the counter on Aug 12 at 930 am seriously needs a raise. Thank you guys
Shout out to Carol for her superior service! We had rented a car from the Missoula location but our vehicle was totaled after a deer jumped in front of our car. We were several hours away from Missoula, unable to return the totaled car, and feeling stranded in a very stressful situation. Luckily the staff in Missoula was able to connect with Carol in the Great Falls location. She secured a new vehicle for us and had paperwork ready when we arrived. Carol was extremely kind and patient, and made sure that we were all set to carry on with our vacation, despite the accident. Feeling grateful for this excellent service!
The assistant manager at this location was so thoughtful and helpful for me when I really needed it after being left high and dry by Enterprise. She really made my day and I wont forget her kindness.
My reservation with This Hertz location was seamless. Friendly agent upgraded me to a luxury vehicle no extra charge.
One way drop-off, Great Falls Airport location lied, manipulated, revised contract, forced me to sign agreement before giving me the contractual terms of Services for the rental. Expedia says that nothing is final until you pick up, but the lying, yet seemingly nice staff Carol actually lied to me and not only engaged in predatory upselling, but also lied about insurance coverage, told me that unlimited mileage due to the one way drop off from Great Falls to Las Vegas, but then after the fact, changed and I was charged hundreds of extra dollars for mileage. The staff also failed to mention many Hertz stipulations and Carol specifically told me to call her instead of the main line. Now, I believe that it was because she was not following policy. Akita in Las Vegas at the Sahara location, however, went above and beyond to treat me like a human and told me she was concerned about my bill compared to the estimate and agreement, and that they did not match up. Akita confirmed the actual rules (ones that Carol lied to me to upsell me), and was still very apologetic, where as Carol was not nice to me on the phone, and could not seem to understand what I wanted. She kept asking what it was that I wanted, and when I explained my very long and stressful trip, Carol told me that is what I signed and that I was on my own. Hertz should be very grateful that they have staff like Akita, who care about the customer instead of their own paycheck (Carol). Akita also must have escalated her concerns after, because when I left, my receipt was much lower than what Carol kept enforcing in a hostile manner. I would not ever get a car from this location, and warn anyone that reads this to use a different company than Hertz at this location. They will lie to you and charge you more after the fact. Stay away! Sad!
My flight arrived at 8 pm. Their desk had already closed. When I called the service contact number, she told me to come back when they opened the next day. How was I suppose to get to my hotel? There were no plans for those who arrive after 7 PM!!!!!! They should not be located at the airport because many flights get in after 7 PM. The advice from their toll number was not sympathetic nor helpful at all. I will NEVER use this rental agency ever again! I was stranded with my 7 year old son and luckily was able to use a different company that night who was open!!
Very unhappy with the customer service of this Hertz in particular. I rented a car from them while I was staying in Great Falls for work for one night. When I rented it I asked what the total came to, the guy working told me $71. Later that day my card declined at a restaurant which was super embarrassing. I called my bank & they told me that Hertz had charged me $271. It over drafted my account which is a $25 fee. Then I had to use part of my rent money to pay for my hotel & the rest of my trip. The next day I spoke to a different employee & told her that the guy the day before didn’t let me know about the $200 deposit, she rudely informed me every rental company charges a deposit & it wouldn’t be back into my account for 48 hours. I talked to the main manager Jared today about everything he didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience it caused me & just said he would tell his employees. Also when I first rented it I was told for $30 I could return it on empty. It was returned a little under full & got charged an extra $15. Now my rent has to be 2 days late & I have to pay my bank $25 all because I wasn’t informed properly from the beginning. I recommend going to a different rental company if you want a more professional experience.
We are actually renting a car from enterprise but Jerry from Hertz had a minute in between customers to Map our some really cool spots for our road trip. Super friendly dude, great customer service and very welcoming!!
Worst rental experience ever. The tire was flat the day after renting it, and they offered no help... except calling AAA for us, but we had to pay AAA and buy a new tire. Absolutely no help from Hertz, not even the option to trade for another car since we were in another city and this Hertz is a franchise (which we were not previously aware of). Then a couple days later another tire popped. On top of that, a ton of extra fees. For a $43 a day car, we paid $620 for 9 days (almost $200 more than base rate in a state with no sales tax) plus over $400 for new tires. The customer service reps were at best not helpful and a couple were rude and condescending.
Was scheduled to Arrive in Great Falls 11:45 pm delayed and didn’t arrive until 12:15 am Hertz closed at 12:00, was expecting to have to Uber to my hotel and was telling the passenger next to my about it when he said don’t worry they are staying open just to meet our flight ! you just don’t see this kind of customer service in this day and age. I’m sure the woman (Carol I think) behind the counter was tired and ready to call it a night. So a big thank you to Hertz in Great Falls MT for going above and beyond.
Called to reserve a car for my daughter as a huge snow storm hit our state and I wanted to make sure she was safe. Was quoted $325.44 for 3 days. Insurance was going to be another $25 a day so the total estimate was $417.80 (that’s actually a $92 increase not $75 but whatever). She gets the car and now she’s being charged $560.40-which is still just an “estimate”. That’s a $ 142.60 difference from the original estimate. She lets me know today that the final charge for a 3 day rental was $658.84!!!!! That is $219.61 per day for a car rental! Will NEVER use Hertz ever again. Now let’s see if I can get anyone to call me back!
I have never had a problem with Hertz until the Great Falls location. Renter beware: apparently there is a $61.99 Conv. Recovery fee that Hertz supposedly does not control that also will not show on the booking confirmation. I was supposed to pay $50.65 for my rental and they are charging me $110.83. The desk clerk was less than helpful in explaining what the fee even was. Pretty ridiculous to pay more than double what I was quoted because of one fee. They shouldnt list fees on the booking confirmation if they arent accurate.Im updating this to a 3 star from a 1 star because they honored the original quote, I would have updated to 5 but I dont appreciate being talked down to or treated as if I did something wrong. Jarad said the original quote had the airport fees wrong...which means they were off by over $60. So just be aware that if you book through Hertz app that there are a pretty significant amount of fees not listed that you will be charged for.
Poor inventory. Insurance upgraded us to a larger premium car. Toyota Camry was the largest they claimed to have for insurance replacement vehicles in their fleet. Camry was the most basic model possible. Not a good vehicle.
An absolute nightmare start to finish. I had to adjust my travel dates and wanted to add an additional day at the start of my trip, the only way they would do it was to change the rate for the entire rental from $25/day to $75/day. Came back to drop off the car after hours and accidentally left my wallet and cell phone in the trunk. My friend had already gone ahead to drop the keys. Spoke to airport police who said that the Hertz office here had little to no contact with airport administration or security and they were the only one that they had no access to lockbox or way to contact anyone with Hertz. Called Hertz emergency roadside assistance and they refused to send emergency service because car was at the airport and keys had been dropped. Ended up missing my flight and having to reschedule. Apparently its a somewhat regular problem because I spoke with one of the airline staff (unfortunately after I already missed my flight) who said they actually had a hook to try and fish keys out of the box for other passengers whod had the same issue.
Staff is always courteous, helpful and professional; I have been dealing with Lori for years - shes the best! Always been pleased with the vehicle assigned to me.
Small location -This is a plus!Fantastic - Staff was perfect- Car as always was clean and newand a great value for the type offered. Will use again!
Went to rent a car and even though it was prepaid they didn’t accept a bank card to put on file! So we ended up leaving with no vehicle.
Great car, clean. Also great customer service.
Nice cars. Quick service.
Nothing available
I got a tiny rock chip in one of my rental cars (if you drive in Montana you’ll get rock chips), and Hertz charged me $165 to get it sealed. Enterprise does that for free. Also, they always made me pay to park my personal car, when enterprise let me park in empty spots. If you wanna get treated poorly, go to Hertz. If you want to be treated like human, hit up Enterprise.
Checked out vehicle 10am, returned a week later and was charged an extra day for turning it in at 6pm instead of before 10am. I guess a call before i got charged would have been nice to know.
I love renting from them
No vehicles available. Make sure you call ahead
Very bad experience and did not get rental car even though insurance company covered it. Would not except company bank card given because it wasnt personal bank account. Continued telling insurance company we wad trying to pay with cash and making it sound like we was trying not to pay the deposit. Left angry.
Jarad and Laura are great to work with!
