This place is absolutely awful! The vehicle they tried to give me was disgusting on the inside and had not been cleaned well.. They offer no place for you to park your vehicle and had no options for me to park anywhere. I asked if they could follow me to the local Walmart and I could park my vehicle there and they said no they dont offer any service like that even though its a 1/2 a mile away. There were 2 other customers in there that had issues with their vehicles and they basically told them to call the corporate office to get another vehicle lined up. I ended up canceling my reservation and she told me it would be 6 to 10 business days before Id get my money back!!! Horrible customer service!!!
I just walked in and the guy was extremely nice and said to came me back in 3 hours And he set me up.My sister and I came back 30 too early and he was still waiting . But he told us to make ourself comfy whole waited and showed us where they had crash cupcakes and cold water bottles and right after thaty car was ready and it very quick see ice VERY NICE people and even calling to extend the rental for another week tool less than 4 mins. It was the best service I ve had renting a car
Rented a car for 1 month. Pickup and drop off was easy. Then I went home and was charged $350 for no apparent reason or no warning. My receipt also said I brought the car back 10 days late when I actually returned the car 3 days EARLY. They also claimed I drove the car 3500+ miles when I barely drove it 300 miles. I worked 5 min away from where I was staying!!! Corporate reversed the charges but the receipt is still incorrect. I tried contacting this site but I can’t get ahold of anyone and the phone number doesn’t even go through.I strongly recommend you just rent elsewhere. Trying to deal with budget and customer service is a total headache. Go somewhere else!!!
This is by far my worst experience with a Car rental company. The process is horrible. When I picked up the car, it wasnt cleaned and when I dropped off they didnt even check to sign off which is really bad when they charge you extra. My mistake for not making them walk through the car but then again, i didnt think there would be any issue. I filled up the gas tank at a QT nearby before returning and yet they said I didnt return the car with a full tank of gas. Ridiculous! Never going there again!
THIS location, specifically, will be the only place i will ever rent a vehicle (for travel, for moving - yes they have moving trucks too!) ... They score a 100 pts per star - thats how awesome this family-owned/run business is. A day in the life observing this family at work offers more insight to customer service and product care than any CSR/Management seminar - bottomline - how can we help/serve? and they delivered from the first second... Jordan and Katy(?), provided better service and vehicle provisions than any promotional stunt offered by other facilities/branches... Support GRAPEVINE, Support this hidden jewel just off Main Street, tucked back just off Dallas Rd. (I was a random walk-in and needed a vehicle for a trip to Houston... Now looking for an excuse to give them more business - Theyre that good!)
I MISSED MY TRIP! I wish I could give ZERO stars. Terrible customer service and misinformation. The gentleman there was polite and warm, however, the lady there talks to everyone in a very condescending tone. And unhelpful. And have wrong information.
Do not rent here. Son and mom run store. Son said to keep Sunday since they were closed. Bring back Monday. Get charged for the 2nd day. I was called a liar.

There is a $20 late fee per day on top of your rental charge if you decide to keep your car for extra days( this is not disclosed on your contract). Mine was $100 for 5 days. Plus filled gas to full and was charged an additional $9.99 per gallon for 3 additional gallons when no one came and verified the gas gauge. Another $30 added onto bill. Customer service is horrible. I strongly advise not to rent from Budget. Total cost to rent for 6 days was $660. I was suppose to get the economy . Then they signed me up for a better car once I got there because the one I picked online was not available. What I thought was going to be $330 for 6 days at $55 per day rental ended up being $660 with late fees and being charged $75 per day for the upgraded car plus the extra $20 late fee per day making it a $95 day rental fee. Plus the extra gas charges etc. Unbelievable!

Good service when I showed up. However because I was 45 minutes early, cant ever plan the airlines schedule perfectly, AND Id rather be early than late to picking up a car, I had to be upgraded, (additional $50) because my car wasnt ready at 10:15 AM. Would I rent again, TBD.

The people are very nice when you’re there. But you walk out the door, who knows what’s going to happen. 2 months after returning my rental, I get a bill for $584 that will conveniently be charged to my credit card on file. Oh and they won’t answer the phone or return phone calls to explain or resolve this. They’re unorganized and unprofessional. Thieves.
Very disappointed in my most recent rental.I have used this location many times; however, this most recent experience was less than acceptable. I prepaid 3 days in advance, receiveda text message to pick up a truck, but when I arrived there wasnt a truck. How do you not have the vehicle in your inventory and prepared for customers that reserved and paid way in advance?? I could be more understanding if I was a walk in, but I reserved a pick-up truck waaaay in advance for your location. Just very, very disappointed because a lot of planning and coordinating for a pet & other family members depended on this rental.

They charge me 19.00 for a fuel charge.... They close early and charge you for an extra day.... after car was left in parking lot... Recently reserved a vehicle from this location. It was such a smooth process from check in to check out. There was no wait and Jordan, the manager, was very pleasant and even provided some areas to check out during our next stay.
I was charged twice. Paid before I picked up the car then I so happen to check my credit card and boom twice. Call this locations no answer. Was automatically transferred to customer service was asked for a reservation #. I took the car back a week ago, do it look like I kept a reservation # with corona and lupus. I was hung up on. Called back for A supervisor, spoke with Luis work # 2324991 was the worst supervisor ever. No regards to help. I will never get a rental car from Budget. Just hope this helps someone else! Call Greatvine location where I picked up the car. Montana who asked me when I returned the car did I smoke weed in it. I didnt think nothing of it. Weird but hes playing. He then stated THEY do that all the time charge people twice. I cant help do you want customer service # I said no then he hung up. I call back he said he wasnt going to get disrespected I then asked what did I say I was then told to have a great day and hung up on a 3rd time. I will NEVER use Budget again due to the customer service not willing to correct or even try to help and the comment about do the car smelling like weed. Montana had no problem asking me did I smoke weed I dont even smoke then helping me get my money back. I will be contacting corporate as well as writing a letter to the BBB!. This location is just an extension of the very very very very bad customer service for budget company as a whole.
Great place!I was in an accident and my car was totaled. When my insurance stopped paying for the rental, I needed to get something fast.The two guys that work the front desk are brothers. They really helped me out with a nice vehicle.Will definitely rent from this place again!!
We worked with a young man but I can’t remember his name. He is wonderful, kind, and accommodating. He upgraded us because we needed the room to tow a boat and we will always be back to this location for this young man to work with.

Katie Pigeon and Jordan were rude and unprofessional after attempting to send us on our way with a bad tail light on the dolly. They were quick to dismiss the safety concern and ultimately we lost several hours due to their negligence and general attitude. We were not compensated for the time and also never received so much as an apology.Despite the issue, Katie did not prioritize or assist in anyway. We had to grab a worker on our own who was kind enough to grab a mechanic, William. William was quick to help. Thank you William! We hope you find better than budget, your worth more!In general, I have always enjoyed budget, however the dishonest and sneaky practices of this location have me second guessing budget entirely. I hope this is just a bad location run by a dishonest agent and not a reflection of the company as a whole.Very disappointed. Will not return so long as Katie is the operator.
I booked the full size car through Costco. The guys gave me a Corolla and did not even bother to mention that they are not giving me a full size car as requested. It took the guy 1 hour to go through 2 customers that were in front of me and to give me a car. When I called back they did not give me a full size car, they said we at least put you in a car and if i wanted i could get a refund of $4, the price difference between a mid size and full size car. Bottom line, I will never again rent from this location.

Prepaid and reserved a compact car on Thursday, attempted to pick up Monday. On arrival I was told I would have to wait a short amount of time anywhere from 10-60 minutes for a car to come from another lot in Hurst, after 45 minutes we were told it was going to be another hour before cars would be available. I was told the reason they didnt have my car is because of the foggy weather and DFW wasnt flying today, so people came in and rented out cars off their lot Sunday night and Monday morning, not keeping any cars for people who already had reservations... I was then told by Jordan that I would have until the next day same time to return it since I had to wait hours for this rental and wouldnt make it back to Tulsa before my drop off time. I did what was told, returned the car 2 hours earlier than requested and then received an email receipt with a new charge of $93 for another day ... Ive called customer service and he thinks hes giving me a deal Ill take 30% off for you.... No you wont, youre removing the charge since this whole mess is entirely the fault of Budget. I ended up having to speak with a supervisor who immediately dropped the charges and apologized. Not using this company again...
Very nice owner operator couple running this place and had zero issues getting my moving truck and car tow dolly for our move to Florida.Finally, as of this writing, I am still a Texas licensed property and casualty insurance agent and want to say that you NEED to get the extra insurance on the moving trucks. Your current auto policy will cover passenger vehicles, but all of the personal auto policies I have seen specifically EXCLUDE vehicles in the weight and size category of a moving truck. Your agent or their staff may flippantly say that “rentals” are covered, but I guarantee that it is just a lack of knowledge on their part and they haven’t read page five billion and six of their long boring auto policy that lists that specific exclusion. Yes, the insurance is not cheap and my personal budget whined about the extra cost, but if something happens...you’ll be in a world of hurt if you don’t have it. Get the insurance and don’t let Murphy’s Law wreck your financial future.Anyhow, thank you to the owners of this facility for an easy rental process. Cheers from Florida :)
Katie and her staff are great. My company has rented over two dozen vehicle form this location in the last year. Each time the vehicle was ready and with Fastbreak, we are in and out of the office in less than five minutes. During the rental period any problems were immediately handled by Katies staff.
Be aware that once you give them your credit card, they can charge whatever they want.
This particular place in Grapevine on Dallas Rd has the most helpful and knowledgeable staff Ive encountered. Makes me want to rent a vehicle once a week because leaving here in a good mood is priceless.

I experienced an exercise in professional exceptionalism from the Budget Grapevine office. I was in immediate need for a vehicle, it was fourth of July weekend and everything was sold out. I called the office and spoke with Jordan and he said he would find me something to drive, which he did and I was able to keep an important family commitment.
They took great care of me & the service was beyond good. Quality cars for good prices also

Horrible Customer Service. Ill never use Budget Car Rental again. The people at this locaiton are scammers and shady. I Reserved a vehicle online and when I went to pick it up the person at the desk pulled up my reservation and said so youll be going with the new lincoln? to try to get me to agree to taking the most expensive vehicle option. I told her that I had reserved a specific car because of my desired amenity and she said they arent guaranteed to have the amenity that the website said I would have. So she got me in a car that was $20 more per day than what I had originally asked for. Then after telling her I didnt need any optional coverage she insisted that get the additional coverage that was $30 more per day. Then after I returned the vehicle they charge me an additional $250 for evidence that the car had been smoked in. Now I am a smoker but I stopped every time during the drive to get out and smoke outside the vehicle. Essentially, they will bill you $250 not for smoking in their vehicles but for simply being a smoker. She told me after I returned the vehicle that if I am going to smoke than I need to be far away from the vehicle. That is not anywhere in the agreement that if my cloths smell like smoke I will be billed $250. This Company has no ethical value toward customers and only wants to do whatever they can to get you for every dollar that they think they can. I do not recommend using this company.
This was the WORST experience I have ever had! Rude, condescending, unprofessional front desk personnel. We have rented from this location in the past and had absolutely fabulous encounters. That is why we returned to them recently, but will never go there again!!!
This place was an absolute nightmare. We reserved a truck over a week in advance, only to learn when we showed up that reservations reserve only the RATE, not the AVAILABILITY. Thats right, we showed up to pick up our truck - from the truck store - only to be told no truck was available for us and our reservation was meaningless. They offered to send an email to other stores to see if they could find an actual truck. This didnt quite work given we had movers scheduled to meet us, which we would be paying by the hour. We had to get on the phone and start calling other truck stores, raced over to U-Haul (where customer service was great, and I learned actually honor reservations by policy), and then a week later found out Budget charged us a no-show fee. I called and they fixed that charge and apologized. Would recommend this place only to someone I wanted to sabotage.
These place has really stepped up their customer service. You wont be disappointed if you rent from this Budget.
Terrible experience, hidden fees, they will try and nickle and dime you if you know what I mean. I advise you to go anywhere else.
Beware of these people. Id give 1/2 stars if possible. They charged me almost $40 for XMR radio service for the car. I particularly denied any optional charges at the time of renting. Apparently it was still mentioned in the rental agreement.
