I love this place!! I’ve been going here for about 3 years. Tracey always makes me look and feel fabulous! I never know what I want for color, and she is always very accommodating and helps me decide what’s best to do. My hair is short, thin, and fine, and she has recommended some great products that have nursed my hair back to health. Most hairstylists I’ve been to don’t really care what happens when you leave the chair, but Tracey always makes sure I have what I need to style my hair and take care of it to keep it healthy.

The place was beautiful the people who work there are wonderful and nice. My only complaint is that my hair didnt get exactly the right color I wanted. I was supposed to get one consistent color. Instead, not only do I have the red hair I wanted, but I also have some just orange blotches in my hair. 😑 a little disappointed.

I have been going to Ruby for the last year or so for my hair. I love that I get exactly what I am asking for from cut to color and am provided honest, professional advice about how achievable the result is! My hair looks PERFECT every time from the cut to the style- plus it’s always nice to have a friendly, kind and knowledgeable stylist.

I LOVED this place! The salon is in a very cool old 2 story victorianish house. The decor, at least in the halls and the room I got my haircut in, were very interesting. They had records on the ceiling and all types of different knick knacks and kit about.Tim, who cut my hair, was a nice guy. He spoke when spoken to and asked me a couple questions but it was laid back. I did NOT feel, as I often do while getting my hair cut, that I was undergoing an inquisition.Finally, the products he used actually smelled good. I think it was spiced tobacco but it smelled manly but not overwhelming. So I did not feel like people would think I had just walked out if a French house of illrepute.I WOULD recommend it for a haircut without reservation. It was not cheap however. If you want cheap goto Sport Clips, if you want an upscale haircut experience go see Tim at Renata.

My wife just spent over 200 dollars and 4 hours at this salon to come home upset that its not at all the color she wanted. She specifically asked for no yellow and thats the color she got as soon as they started drying her hair. She even asked for maybe a violet or other cool color just in case there was yellow and they told her shed just have to come back for multiple sessions to get the yellow out. Shes been wearing a hat for months and I was hoping to see her confident walking out with beautiful hair. Instead, she walked back to the car with her head down and the hat went right back on. When we got home she complained about burning and we saw several spots of bleach still on her head and stained skin on her neck and forehead from the toner. She had her hair trimmed after that and the stylist didnt see it?Not impressed!

Renata Salons is, s the name suggests, more of a salmon, that caters to women. Its not 8n your typical brink and mortar bad. Its actually in a century old house (built back in 1895). But in a separate walled of section of this house,, theres a Barbershop.Kailey took my appt over the phone and she was quite pleasant. i had a haircut with Jim. There are two Barbers there. The other guy and his wife actually own the place.I liked how they decorated the place (room), which felt more like a cool man-cave. They also offer you a drink. They have all these albums (records) pasted to the ceiling. So that was a cool thing to look at and reminisce about the artists from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Jim did a good job with my haircut. Overall,thought it was a pretty cool place to check out.

Beautiful salon and friendly staff. I was staying in the area for close to a month and having blonde highlights my roots were horrible. I was not able to get to my regular hair stylist back home for a while so I made an appointment with Chelsea. I have been with my hair stylist for over 15 years and was nervous about a new stylist touching my hair. Chelsea made me feel comfortable, was very kind, professional, and talented! She did magic to my hair. I would recommend her as your stylist from my experience!!

Lauren is a magician! I had 2 inches of gray roots of quarantine hair which she transformed into a beautiful, silver gray mane of hair that I love love love so much.She is genuinely kind, listens intently, and, did I mention, she has magic hands!!You will love the experience of Renata Salon, as everyone there is so genuine and helpful.

This is a unique and amazing hair salon. I cannot speak for all the hairstylist because I do not know them all, but my hairstylist (Tim) is quite the professional. If he can make my hair look great he can make anyone’s hair look great.

Great salon, always has such a good vibe. I’ve been going to the salon for years. The staff is very friendly and funny. Carly gave the best haircut I’ve had in years, and gave me such great volume (I have thin hair) as well as a lovely color. She’s super sweet and diligent. Will definitely be back to see her. They might be on a pricey side but they’re definitely worth it. Renata is the only salon that I know will always give me awesome results.

My whole family gets dolled up here. Husband and son see Tim in the Barbershop for an amazing and precise cut (and relaxing shave) My daughter just saw her first stylist here and felt catered to and pampered.

Tina is amazing at coloring hair.She listened to what I was saying and produced perfection in the blending of colors as I am 90% (white). Highly recommend!

Military Spouse new to DFW-areaI came to Renata as a brand new resident of Dallas. As a military spouse, weve lived in a lot of major cities across the US which means Ive been to a LOT of salons (Charlotte, Philly, Charleston, Detroit, San Francisco). Needless to say, I am always TERRIFIED of having a poor experience at new salons because I am not a natural blonde and my hair usually takes a beating every 5 weeks (I do a full highlight to keep up with my dark roots). I was BLOWN away by all facets of this salon.Color Quality for Blondes + KnowledgeMy colorist was Aaron, and she completely rocked my locks off! The color line she used was Goldwell, and the result is STUNNING. I have a tendency to fade over time and turn very brassy. From the minute she took off the towel I knew the tone and glaze was different and above and beyond anything I have had before--bright color, beautiful placement and rhythm throughout with a ton of dimension, and a glow and shine that is really difficult to accomplish on heavily colored blonde hair like mine. She was also very humble and honest about my horribly dry and broken ends and recommended a good cut to create a solid baseline together. I am so glad she suggested this and I feel so much better, having chopped about 6 inches of damaged hair that I was clinging onto. Now I have consistent coloring throughout, and beautiful ends which I know will grow much faster than ever before! Why has no other stylist been able to get me to this point?! Nice hair salon and barber shop in old Grapevine. Interesting ambience as its in an old house. Staff is friendly and professional. I think they take walk-ins but youre probably better off to have an appointment.

First time at the Parlour House! Carrie cut anf colored my hair - no easy feat as I am a red head! I loved this place - everyone so nice! And Carrie - she was amazing! My color is perfect and got a sassy new cut! Thanks for taking such great care of me!

The service there is amazing as well as the staff. I e never been more pleased with a salon as this. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I’ve been to many salons and I have to say this is by far the best experience I’ve had.

Carrie did a fantastic transformation on my hair. It went from long and lifeless to magnificent. Thanks Carrie for not pushing a color change, as I am embracing my crown of glory (gray)! I loved the Parlour House and the atmosphere there.

Today was my first time trying this salon and I absolutely LOVED it! All the staff is very nice and welcoming. Ashley cut my hair and did a wonderful job giving me what I asked for. She was also very fun to talk to and took great care of my hair. Plus the interior is decorated so beautifully and makes you feel at home. Im definitely going back!

Since I moved to Dallas two years ago Ive been searching for a salon. I decided to give Renata Salons a try and I am so happy that I did. My hair went from boring and lifeless to shiny and beautiful. I have dimension and my hair looks fuller. Thank you, Carrie. I love my hair!

Um simply the best better then all the rest. The owners of this place are wonderful amazing awesome thoughtful gorgeous caring considerate and super talented. I love them and the hair is great too.

My stylist/colorist was, as always, super nice. I really like her, but since I got my hair cut short (I go to someone else for my cut), it seems like Ive really thrown her for a loop. I dont fully understand what shes doing with my hair now that continually creeps up in price. I trust her to an extent, but it feels like shes making it up as she goes. I think some training on shorter hair may be needed. Broaden your horizons! Unfortunately Im going to have to go someplace else from now on where I know they can color shorter hair without me feeling like its some kind of experiment...and where the price stays more consistent. We went from $90 highlights when I had a short bob, to $130 and now $150 with a pixie cut. I cant figure that out. Im not happy with the results and its more than Ive ever spent in my life (with the shortest hair Ive ever had) for highlights, so Im out. Im really bummed about it, too!  The place itself is nice and the women are all very personable. But...Im just a stickler for feeling good about a service I spend that much money on.

Never got services. First appointment was rescheduled with a different stylist after the first called out sick. I get it, things happen. But agter discussing the services with the replacement stylist ?which I had given when I made the appointment), the replacement stylist decided it would be better for me to make another appointment with original stylist. I did. The morning of second appointment, shortly before my appointment time, my stylist called off work again. I had to take time off work both days, and then drive 20+ miles to the salon (I had already made it to their neighborhood when they called the second time). I gave up and didnt reschedule

I have been looking for a salon forever and finally found Renata! All the girls here are so sweet and down to earth! Its like being in your girlfriends living room. Aaron and Casondra did amazing on my cut and color! Highly recommend this gem if you are looking for an awesome experience with some super cool people!

Hands down the best salon Ive ever been to. This place is so cool and chill. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and awesome, they were working together like a team, it was awesome. Tarra did an Amazing job on turning my ugly orange toned hair into an amazing purple! Its exactly what I wanted!

The staff here is the best. Tianna is the epitome of a perfectionist. I have been going to her specifically for a few years now and she pays so much attention to detail. Ive never had a bad experience with her or anyone else there. My only complaint is they dont any Sports magazines to read and to the best of my knowledge they dont serve beer.

Ryan is awesome. I have particularly strong-willed hair, and he spends enough time to get it looking stylish and professional at the same time.I used to not spend much on haircuts, but the extra $ is definitely worth it.

Had a wonderful experience!! My husband and I got the Romantic Rendezvous package for our anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. The massages were GREAT, the lunch was delicious, and the pedicures were a nice finish. All the ladies that work there were super nice. Looking forward to going again for our next anniversary!!

They were fantastic!! Carrie traveled to my house at 530 in the morning to start on my wedding hair and makeup (including three other girls she did)! And she did a wonderful job. My new husband swears I never looked more beautiful.Carrie was very personable and easy to talk to. Even though I had no clue what I wanted, she nailed it completely!

I always have an amazing experience when I go to Renata--Ive had my haircut by 3-4 different stylists since going there and they always do a great job. The staff is extremely personable as well and makes it a point to get to know you. Ive been to a few other places in the Grapevine area, and I will continue to come back here as my preferred salon.

Heather took what was a mess of my hair and transformed it into honey & ash blonde bliss coupled with a spicy long layered cut. (please ignore my profile pic - this was my old mess of hair) ;) Ive already had several compliments tonight at work. She also showed me how to easily obtain more volume at the crown and around my face. She used Kevin Murphy products on my hair. (Full Again & Powder Puff) I liked them so much that I bought them and re-booked to see her again in October. This was my first visit to the Parlour House at Renata Salons and I am very happy with the results. Heather is a Genius in her Craft & the only Stylist for my hair now. Heather and the entire staff were friendly, warm & welcoming. Go see for yourself; youll be happy you did! ☆☆☆☆☆

I have gone to Renata for close to 8 years now, for both haircuts and massages. My wife and three kids all now get their hair cut/styled/colored there by Tianna (who is fun, vivacious, gives great scalp massages and is a terrific stylist). I followed my stylist, Sarah, to Renata Salon and have loved every visit! From the reservation process to the payment process...it is a wonderfully relaxing experience. Sarah is very knowledgeable, the salon has a fun atmosphere and all the stylists are friendly.

My wife had a horrible experience - all in all 3 complains - 1) Hairstyle showed to the styler vs the end result are no where close. She cut the hair way too short than told. 2) After complaining - they kept saying - no it looks good on you --> well.. the one my wife wanted might even look prettier. 3) Long Nails, kept hurting her scalp during wash. Definitely not recommend this salon to anyone.

I used to enjoy coming here years ago when I lived in Grapevine. The atmosphere is unique/fun, the owner is a sweetheart, and all the stylists are super friendly and know what they are doing, but unfortunately during this past visit, something happened that will make me never return. I am giving them two stars because my hair turned out like I wanted, but it is how this salon conducts its business that was so incredibly upsetting to me. If spending money is not a concern to you, then you can skip this review. I am writing this as more of a warning for those who are on a tight budget and need to be careful with what they spend.Due to my financial situation, I have not dyed my hair in two years (my budget became tight and I could only afford maintenance haircuts at another salon), so coming here to get it dyed was a special treat for my upcoming wedding. I confirmed on their website that an all-over color (without a cut) starts at $60. This was perfect! The color was all I needed because I am growing my hair out for my wedding so I didnt need it cut. My hair is medium length and I just wanted it dyed my natural color (dark brunette) to add dimension and vibrancy, and cover a few random grays. When I booked the appointment, I was assigned a stylist that was open at the time I requested. At my appointment, I confirmed with the stylist that I just wanted one all-over color that matched my natural hair color. She told me she could achieve this by not including all the pieces of my hair and pull it through so that it would hide the color line better when it grows out (or at least that is what I understood when she tried to explain what she wanted to do). Given that I dont get my hair done much, I trusted that what she was suggesting would look better, and that it would still achieve my all-over color. Then she told me that she would need to put a particular product in my hair after she washed it to help make it shiny (dont remember what she called this?). Assuming that this was part of the process she was telling me about, I said okay great! and sat at the shampoo bowl while this product sat on my hair. The rest of the appointment went fine...until I went to the counter to pay.I got out my wallet to pay, and the receptionist told me my total was $135. I froze in my tracks. I couldnt afford this. I didnt know what to say. $135 for an all-over color that did not include a haircut or anything else?! How did this happen? I calmly told her that their website said that the price for an all over color was $60, and that is what I was expecting to pay. It wasnt until this moment that I was informed that they upcharge for the level of stylist you receive, and she told me the shampoo is $40. My heart sank. At this point I realized that “the shampoo” MUST include whatever else she added to my hair, because I have never been charged by a salon to rinse the color out of my hair. I admitted that I was extremely embarrassed but no one had told me about all the upcharges and I asked if there was anything she could do to bring down the price, and she said I can give you half off the shampoo?. I took what I could get and left the salon in tears having paid literally double what I had budgeted for a hair color.So my advice to anyone else who wants to come here but has a tight budget, is to confirm the price when you book the appointment on the phone and ask will this cost extra? after ANYTHING that the stylist recommends during your visit. Like I said, they do an amazing job with hair, but the manner in which they conduct their business by adding services to what you originally made an appointment for and not telling you that it is an upcharge, is manipulative and takes advantage of those who do not frequent the salon.

The atmosphere is great. The salon is so well run and the stylist are fabulous. My hair has never looked better.

Aaron is absolutely the best! The salon is beautiful and I love the historic look that makes one feel comfortable and at peace. It feels like youre going to visit grandparents and be spoiled.

I love, love, love this salon and spa. First, it is located in a beautiful, historical victorian home close to Main St. in downtown Grapevine… coming here for a service, followed by drinks and lunch downtown makes for a great day! The women who work here - from the receptionist, to the stylist, masseuse, esthetician, etc are all top-notch professionals who truly want you to enjoy your visit. Unlike other salons/ spas: this is a one-stop shop - you can get your hair, make-up, facial, wax, massage, nails, etc… all done right here. And done well.

Quality salon in a beautiful historic home in Grapevine. I have seen Rebecca, nail tech, for about three years every other Saturday. She is professional, entertaining, affordable, and an excellent nail guru!!
