Main street barber shop is fantastic. Ive become a regular, staff is friendly, and welcoming. Shop is clean, and organised. You can walk in, or make appointments online. For the idiots complaining about being cash only....get over it....barber shops have always been cash only...their website even states cash and checks only. If you want to pay another way, take your hipster feelings somewhere else. If youre looking for a no nonsense, full service barber shop that just happens to be run by some pretty awesome women, this is your place.

Main Street Barber Shop was joy to experience. From the old school decore to the friendly environment. Grapevine has a special place that caters to the old ways of the barber shop experience. If youre in town go try it. Dont be afraid to talk to the ladies there. Trust me, youll love it too.

In Dallas for the holidays and desperately needed a haircut since all the salons have been closed in LA. Kelli did a PHENOMENAL job, excellent attention to detail, and great super friendly conversation. To make it even better, she gave a recommendation for cajun food that I have been so dearly missing (The Cajun Market in colleyville) and after eating the crawfish etouffee from there last night (insanely delicious) I feel like I may need to move here. Thanks Kelli! Will definitely be back!

Okay Im not one to write bad reviews. First no one was wearing a mask. I was like...ok? Then the haircut was overpriced by $5. Then they only take cash. Guess they dont want to pay the 3-5% processing fee so they pass that inconvenience on to their customers. I had to go to the nearest ATM and give them their cash like a drug dealer. Welcome to this century. Go up the road to real cuts or into Southlake.

My husband John and I absolutely love this place! Aside from getting great haircuts, every time we come here, it’s like visiting family. All the barbers are so skilled and friendly, who are genuinely interested in anything and everything going on in our lives. I am recently pregnant for the first time, I feel that everyone in the barbershop have been on this pregnancy journey with me. They are all overjoyed for me. Vanessa and Kelli have such a great sense of humor, our conversations are always filled with joy and laughter. We love this place that’s filled with so much tradition and history, will never go anywhere else.

This place had really good reviews so I thought my husband and my boys could give it a try but we will never go back! My oldest son they gave him a part on the wrong side of his head I have literally never cut his hair with the part going that way there is no fixing that. Now it has to grow out so we can fix it. My other son one side looks shorter than the other side. The edge up on all of them does not look good. The whole style in general is not very good. Im not saying this place wont work for you maybe we just have a different style, hair type, and expectations than they can provide to us personally. In my opinion it was definitely not worth the high price for what we got.

Great customer service and awesome cuts

I took my son in for a 9 AM appointment. No Covid protocol was being done. No social distancing of waiting chairs and (2) employees were without masks. Luckily, all waiting clients had masks on. At about 9:15 we were told our hair attendant was delayed and it would be while before she showed. We decided to leave. It was supposed to be our first hair cut in months but very disappointed. Absolutely will NOT be going back.

I went in while In a rush to just get a shave. Not only was it my longest shave ever at 1.5 hours just about. I was cut multiple times and it cost 30$.....I litterally stopped her because I could not find a razor and the new electric one I bought was junk too.I was otherwise impressed by the shop and I know its a new owner.I hate to leave a bad review but my shave was pretty bad. I would be willing to change the review if the owner gets in touch to make it right

Weve come here for years. Absolutely the best place for short haircuts! We adore Vanessa. She has always done an outstanding job on my sons hair. A lovely old-town feel to the barber shop. We will continue to go here for years to come! Highly recommend!!

I have been a resident of Grapevine since birth and always gotten my haircut (about every four weeks) at different places around town throughout the years. I just recently stumbled upon Main Street Barber Shop in the last couple years and have not gone any other place since my first experience in 2016. Main Street Barber Shop provides a very homely, down to earth, quaint haircut experience much like the city of Grapevine tries to provide to all who visit it. I would recommend this place for any and all local residents and surrounding suburb residents who need a haircut done right in an environment that makes you feel like you’re at home.

Been coming here since I was 8. Great place to get a haircut. Real ol time feel. Major downsides are they dont take any kind of cards. I think this is due to the owners being older and them not comprehending how the technology works. The other downside is the place is so great, that its always slammed.

Were in town for vacation and saw the reviews for this place so I thought wed check it out. Thr atmosphere is great, everyone was friendly, good price for a hair cut. Dora was awesome with my 8 year old and did a great job! Highly recommend this place for men and youngsters!

This is a fun, old-fashioned place with free popcorn, coin operated horsie and drink machines, and old barber chairs. If you go during the day there is not much of a wait, because there are about six barbers cutting hair. They do a good job on little boys hair.

Do not go! I walked out with an uneven cut, shaved almost to my scalp so that it couldn’t be repaired unless they shaved all the way up the other side to match, I was bleeding from a razor nick behind my ear and they shaved into my beard on one side attempting to “even out” my sideburns. All of this the day before Thanksgiving holiday! They can’t possibly repair the haircut without making my hair much worse. I called them to explain and told them that rather than righting a negative review that o would rather be up front and let them offer a resolution - they said go ahead and write a review. So, here it is. Do not go and if you must, avoid Larry at all cost.

The absolute worst haircut I’ve had in my 66 yrs of haircut’s!!! I had to stop at another place before I arrived home to have them try to undo what Dwight did to my hair. I should have take a picture of the mess before I paid to have it somewhat fixed!!!!!

Worst experience in my life! I came to have a nice haircut previous my wedding and this lady messed up completely my hair a week before my wedding. the lady that worked with her try to fix it but for no reason, cuz it didn’t have a solution. now I have to show to my wedding with a messed up head. No apology or anything. the lady who messed up my hair just called then next customer while the other one try to do something about it. I am so mad and pissed at this place. I will attach how I asked to have my hair and how I end up getting it.

Most of you may not understand but for those who do read would.The people were friendly and it was a nice place but I walked out with a haircut that is very dissapointing. My line up was horrible in the front, it wasnt a straight line. My head line was also pushed back and when I tried to show the lady, she tried to tell me that MY headline was fine and is suppose to be like the way she cut it. She used some type of Wal-Mart beard shaver to line up the front and around my ear so it wasnt a sharp look.Around my ear was a patch she cut off as you can see in the pictures also. The haircut (even 2 all around) was fine but my line up around the edges were horrible. She I knew in the middle of the haircut when she mentioned how she liked my finger waves then I screwed up.2 stars for trying at least and for how friendly everyone were.
