I purchased an older home and had no idea when it was last insulated. Drew was absolutely wonderful to help explain what I had, what was needed and didnt try to oversell or pressure me into using their services. The pricing was well within what I had expected (actually a bit less). He was honest and up front to advise he was booked with other jobs would be a few weeks out. I received a call exactly when he said they would be available. They arrived at the exact time they were scheduled and did a great job! Drew has been incredibly helpful in proving the details I needed to complete the Gas and Power rebate applications. The insulation used falls a made in Michigan product and to my surprise allowed me to receive an additional rebate amount. Was good quality, but communication wasn’t great

The team at VerWys were all wonderful to work with! From initial conversations through the end result, they communicated with me throughout the process, and answered all of my questions. They were professional when in my home (always masked up inside and outside), the value of the product was wonderful as well. I purchased a full house of new windows, and they were installed in a very reasonable amount of time. Would highly recommend to all my friends and family! Great experience.

Key points: Great price, great quality, knowledgeable, and professional. Were just going through our first winter after having extra insulation blown into the attic. There are NO icicles on the roof and our house is warm. Drew and his team are amazing with their communication and the work is phenomenal. We plan to use them for windows in the future :)

Ver Wys updated our insulation in our 90’s home. They were awesome to work with, and we noticed a difference in temperature in our home almost immediately. Drew is very kind and professional and was not pushy at all from a sales standpoint. They are very responsive to questions or concerns as well.

Ver Wys home improvement came into our home to blow in some insulation, in a very tight spot might I add, one of our concerns was how dusty it might be during and after they came to our home. Drew, the owner, actually came himself (due to a sick employee) to help complete his 4 person crew to do our job! House was clean when they left! Highly recommend this Family owned business...

Worked for them. Not the friendly at all. Bad talk about everyone they met. Not professional in their ability to work with EACHOTHER. Always drinking on the job. The Dons don’t seem to understand not to drink while at work work. Make it hard to work with them when they constantly bad mouth about the customer. Doug can’t seem to understand what the customer wants. It’s about race when working with them. Pay was okay but not worth it with the team they have.

Our windows were replace in the brute house. The work is perfect and everything was cleaned on the inside and outside to perfection.Windows are beautiful and the temperature stays constant inside the house since the installation.Great workpeople. We are over the moon!

Update: New ownership, sounds promising. New owner sounds like he truly is interested in helping people and providing a quality experience...TBDWon’t guarantee work that was supposed to be guaranteed. Put The wrong type of vents in our roof and then came back and covered it up with cardboard.

Drew and Shannon have been a total joy to work with....we added insulation and Drew worked with me on the LED-ization of all my can lights, which allowed me to save some $ from the initial estimate.The work was top quality, the crew was easy to deal with and I was glad I found Ver Wys for my insulation project.They have also been very helpful in the rebate follow up process with both DTE & Consumers Energy.

I have had Ver Wys do projects at the two homes I have owned and the quality of the work has always been outstanding. The employees care about the work they do and it shows. We just had our brick homes exterior walls insulated and the work was completed in a timely manner, the crew arrived on time and communicated every step along the way. The clean up was phenomenal and it was barely evident that they had even been there.They also insulated the attic and our home feels so much more comfortable as a result.

They did such a wonderful job. THEY went above and beyond. did more then what they should have. our house since it been insulted has been wonderful. turning the furnace down and helping keep our electric and heat bill down with how much Doug and his team did. if we ever need more insulation we will call them again!!

Doug VanderMeer and his guys have done great work for me. Initially he gave me some great energy savings advice 5 years ago which saves my office about $900/year. I received a quote for some insulation/sealant work from these guys and I was very impressed. The quote was very reasonable and I was also made aware of rebates that I did not know I qualified for. They are well informed in the field of energy saving and I felt they were looking out for me as a homeowner. The work areas were prepped before the process and cleaned thoroughly after. They were fast, friendly and I recommend them to anyone looking to save on energy cost.

Ver Wys Home Improvement LLC completed a comprehensive insulation update for my home in Grand Rapids, including loose fill and foam insulation. They completed the job in a timely manner for a very reasonable price -- and even helped us obtain a rebate for a portion of the materials. The job was extremely well done and left in a very neat state. Our home is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, and our heating bills have noticeably fallen.

We bought our 90+ year old home in December 2014. The first Winter was brutal. The house was cold and uncomfortable. First gas bill was over $600. Our boiler could not keep up and we had ice dams and icicles everywhere! Brought in VerWys. They suggested an energy audit, then they added insulation and ventilation in the attic areas, sealed virtually every gap where cold was pouring in (and heat was pouring out). The workers were polite, thorough and took pride in their work.This year our gas bills are way down and, most importantly, our home is much more comfortable. Id recommend this company to anybody.

We had a 2-story house full of windows installed in May 2017. They were our 3rd bid for windows. One company wanted almost triple what VerWys quoted and were high pressured to sign the day we had them over. The second company was expensive too and wasnt aware of any rebates! Ver Wys detailed our quote with exactly what windows we were getting. They also blew in insulation in our basement. They submitted over $1000 worth of rebates for us and reduced our payment to them by the rebate amount. We love our premium windows! I can now open, close and clean them with little effort. Ver Wys cleaned up inside and out at the end of every day. The workers were very nice and respectful of our home. They started each morning at 7:30 a.m. and finished by about 3:30. It took them two and a half days for all the windows and the basement insulation. We will be hiring them again soon to do our porch windows. Very happy with them. The one thing I have learned though from getting proposals from different contractors is to have have everything documented in the proposal so there are no questions or misunderstandings. Ver Wys was good with our requests to be very detailed. We are very happy with them and have already recommended them to our neighbor.

Doug Vandermere is losing his ability to run this company. I’ve done subcontracting for him for over a year and always stood behind my work with a lifetime warranty. I’ve dealt with his inconsistencies because he never messures jobs for square footage prices. He guesses and estimates and won’t take responsibility when it’s wrong.Now he refuses to pay for work I’ve done for him even after he made me wait over 4 months for any kind of payment.He’s a fast talker so be careful when you are doing business with him.Wish me luck in trying to get the money he owes!
