The service tech picking up the shred box is always polite and professional, we have had no problems with Shred-it at my small office! Definitely recommend.

I called Shred-it customer service yesterday to check rates. $75 for 1st 10 boxes of files and $10 per box thereafter. I dragged 34 boxes from my attic last night to shred today. I called Shred-it this morning to verify they were open and that i had over 30 boxes. The lady at Shred-it said the most i could bring was 10 boxes. Ridiculous! I then called west michigan document shredding and they took all 34 boxes for $4 a box!! Needless to say I will never use Shred-it overpriced and certainly not willing to do with a customer needs

Was very disappointed with this company. I had 1 bankers box of paper. Called the number on web site to make sure they would take a drop-off. Must have been a corporate number. They looked up the Grand Rapids location, said it was $25 for first box and $5 for each additional box. I drove the 30 minutes to the location. Had to go back by the trucks since nobody would answer the front doorbell. Rang the buzzer. A man in office attire came out and told me that there was a new policy. $100 MINIMUM fee that would cover 1 - 10 b0xes. They only accept checks, no cash, no cards. I had to go back home to get the check book. Called the phone number I called the first time to find out about this new policy. The lady did state she was with customer service at main office. She would check out the policy at the Grand Rapids location. I told her they should be concerned that they might have an employee trying to make a few bucks, I have not heard back yet. I did find out there is a Rapid Shred in Grand Rapids, called...they only charge $5 per box. Unfortunately they are 45 min away. I had to return to Shred-it and pay the $100 for 1 box. I did let the office manager of my parents senior housing facility know about the PRICE GOUGING since she had referred them. They will no longer send people to Shred-It

Tried to use this service, could not get a call back.

Someone who worked for us signed us up for a contract for 5 years and they were fired shortly later. Of course shred-it wouldnt let us cancel the contract, so we are stuck for 5 years of paying for something we dont need
