Car always comes out looking good .. its a clean and friendly place

Im not very impressed. No one answers the phone when I called 4 times to get hours. They have no info online. Then when I showed up the first day before they closed, there was a car in the stall and another in front of me. The guy saw me waiting there. He finished the car in the stall, then came to my window and said hes going to be my last car. I asked him why, and he said they were going to close. I told him I was there before 6 and had been waiting, but he refused to help me. So I went back the next day. I paid for a full synthetic oil change. They have full cases of full synthetic staged on a platform between the two stalls, but then they come out with a grubby clear bottle to fill the car, so you have no idea what they are putting in the engine. My service was supposed to include a 12 point inspection. They didnt inspect anything. Then the guy checked my oil level and showed me the dipstick with the engine still running. They have no sticker to indicate when my next oil change should be, and the receipt is similar to something youd get from McDonalds. Very unprofessional and does not build any confidence in me whatsoever. You get what you pay for... the low price is not worth risking a large investment like an automobile to a very poorly run an unprofessional establishment. I would recommend avoiding. I wont be back.

Has a manual helper who diligently first pre-soaked all around. The colorful lights was an add-on bonus for kids

DO NOT get your oil changed here! We took our Subaru to get the oil changed and they drained the Transmission fluid! PLUS they double filled the oil! Our vehicle made a terrible grinding sound as soon as we pulled away. They denied everything and told us to go across the street. We had to have our vehicle towed to the dealership and and have it flushed out. We were very lucky not to have to replace our transmission. It cost us over $500. Our dealership told us they see this happen at least 4 times a month.

I purchased a Groupon for an oil change with this business. Verified their hours in two different locations, along with attempting to call to verify as well (no answer). I showed up an hour after their stated open time and was told to come back in half an hour as they were understaffed and couldn’t serve me. I came back in half an hour, and was immediately (rudely) turned away again told to come back in another half hour. I waited out front for another half hour and still did not see their open sign go on and ended up leaving and fighting with Groupon to get my voucher refunded. The employees weren’t great, but the blame really goes to the owner who is understaffing his business. Would not recommend, especially if you value your time. Ended up having to go across the street to Valvoline.

Had poor customer service experience. Only customer at quick lube. Had already paid for Groupon. They would not take, said I could make a future appointment or pay full price. I asked why. There were only two staff in the place for 1 customer and they would need to start the computer and login to Groupon.

This place is unreal the wash kept stopping in middle of the wash left soap all over my company car and had to drive out from middle of the wash bay waste of 5.00 wash never going back to that wash again. This was alot better back about 2005 the oil center was better service back then the new owners are something else.

Ordered a Groupon in spring 2020 and used it in July. Experience was fine and was okay with it because the oil change was cheap. In the process they must have not put the drain plug back on correctly and our oil all leaked out. We were headed on a road trip the next day and our car almost died on the highway. Had to get oil and ultimately get an oil change on our road trip at Midas. Midas gave us the receipt and everything to make sure we could follow up with loves on their oil change. I called loves while on the road trip and they offered us 3 free oil changes to make up for it. Apparently I should have asked the guys name and made sure this was setup correctly because when I went back in September they gave me all kinds of trouble trying to get the oil change despite my receipt from Midas and Loves from July. Horrible customer experience. He said he found the credits under my license plate/phone number and said I had 2 more credits left. Just went back in January and they said they had no record on my account prior to September 2020 and they couldn’t do anything for me. Treated me disrespectfully after they told me I should have gotten the guys name (again) that I talked to originally. Needless to say you get less than you pay for here. Almost ruined my engine, and then gave me the run around multiple times after that first bad experience. Please take my advice and get your oil changed somewhere else.

10$ wash and front end of my car has huge missed spots

Don’t waste your time. i normally come here for the cheap carwashes but they always leave soap on my mirrors. i bought the deal for 6 washes, but every time i try to use them they are closed! their listed hours say 8am-7pm. i came here for a car wash at 10:30am on a Monday and they were closed, nobody was there and the lanes were blocked off. this is the third time in a row i’ve driven all the way to this carwash specifically during business hours that they were not open! how am i supposed to use the washes ive purchased? when you call the number it just rings and rings. very unprofessional not to even put a sign out for your customers explaining why you’re closed

Never have we been so disrespected by a business manager. This business claims to be customer service oriented. We have been customers of this location for 10+ years. Will never go back!Last Friday their exit doors were not opening properly. This caused the door to drag across hood, roof, and trunk of our vehicle. There are surface scratches all along it. Talked to worker that day. Went back today to talk with manager. He was the rudest person ever. Wouldnt even look at the vehicle and told Roy we cant prove anything. Actually, Joe, you are very wrong! This can most likely be resolved with a detailed buffing. They will be paying for it through court.My father taught me that word of mouth can make or break a business. If you value your vehicle, I would not recommend using this business! THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOUR VEHICLE IS DAMAGED BY THEIR MALFUNCTIONING EQUIPMENT..

No masks, putting customers at risk while being 1 foot away from their face. Felt very uncomfortable, as Im on my way to my folks and dont want to put them at risk. Not worth saving the extra couple bucks. Otherwise they were nice and fast, but wont be returning.

Oil Change - Quick Lube; purchased through Groupon. Printed voucher and sent my daughter up to location (22 minute drive). Upon arrival they told my daughter they would not honor the printed Groupon voucher, despite the Groupon purchase totally being usable by printed version. They insisted my daughter log into Groupon so they could personally witness redeemed being clicked. I spoke to them directly and asked if there is nothing else we could do? I suggested lets get Groupon on the line. The man said No would not give his name and turned his back and walked away from my daughter mid conversation. Absolutely APPALLING behavior. In all my Groupon experience, there is a # the retailer can call to validate & mark voucher as used. Instead my daughter left in tears because they would not honor printed Groupon certificate. ALSO REPORTING TO GROUPON AND UPADTING REVIEWS IN ALL LOCATIONS.Terrible experience, terrible customer experience. Spend the $ and go elsewhere!

Not sure if it was just an off day or what but I bought a Groupon to get a synthetic oil change, the price was very very good and as someone on a budget I appreciate that. I pulled up and was served immediately, a good sign. I pulled out my Groupon and it seemed like the technician immediately checked out. Another car pulled up in the other stall and the technician stopped paying attention to my service all together. I could feel my car being tugged from beneath so I assume the oil did get changed. They didnt show the dipstick to me at all, they didnt do the lights check or even fill my tires. I am pretty sure I was supposed to get a car wash with my Groupon but the technician just handed me the sticker and sent me on the way. I was just surprised because Ive never had an oil change experience like this.

I used the car wash last week and had a ton of soap still on my car, there was blue soap dripping down the doors and windows. Later in the week I noticed the top of my hood is scratched a lot. I dont know if theyre water wasnt working correctly, but Im extremely disappointed. I will stick to mister carwash from now on. To save a few bucks it isnt worth it.

Vastly less professional than Valvoline. The two guys were not wearing masks and acting very immature.

Quality oil change and good car wash

Came in to get an oil change and the employee refused to put on a mask. I dont care if the guy under the car wears a mask but the guy standing standing at my car window better be. Oh, and the place reeked of weed and both employees were high. I drove away without an oil change and am never going back.

I came here for just a quick car wash thinking it wouldn’t really clean my car like I wanted but I thought I’d give it a shot and I’m glad I did, I payed 10$ and received one of the best car washes I’ve ever had. The guy in the beginning scrubbed my car down very thoroughly. I was very impressed. Will definitely be where I’m going from now on!

Pulled up for oil change. Young guy inside smoking what looked like a cigarette. When we got inside and rolled window down the entire bay smelled like marijuana. They also seemed irritated when I asked for valvoline instead of Quaker State. Every other oil change around had at least 6 cars lined up. Now I know why no one was here. Probably should have just left but we will see. Went to use car wash and nothing would work. Would not scan codes in either line. Line of cars. Went to car wash up the road.

I got a Groupon for an oil change and a car wash. When I got there they told me they didnt have the oil filter for my car, and told me to come next day and offered me a free car was, that part I didnt mind. When I came back next day they starter working on my car and while I was waiting in the vehicle I noticed that they were putting 5w20 when my car takes 5w30. I tried to get their attention to but they were ignoring me. When finally I got their attention, they said that the computer told them to put that anf i showed them that the Owner Manual of my car said differently. Once I convinced them to change the oil to the right one they completed the service and ask me to start the engine. I did and OH BOY...my car started to throw a bunch of error codes and was saying that the engine was malfunctioning while the engine was shaking enoughto make me spill my Water. I got really scare and turned off the car asking what was happening. I thought they didnt put enough oil and they said they would do the oil change again to make sure this time. I decided to stay outside of the car and check that they were doing it correctly. When the brand new oil came out of it did not looked like brand new oil and it was out in a few seconds. This made me think that they actually didnt put oil the new oil and maybe mixed the old oil with a little bit of the new one and since my car doesnt have a a dip stick to check the level they might have put too little.After the LAST oil change the car started and didnt have any codes or problems.I do not recommend this place for an oil change if you care about your car.

This place is a joke. I paid for my car wash at a automated machine. I have now been sitting inside the car wash for 5 minutes. I havent seen anyone. Ive honked. Ive called.. nothingStole my money. I should call the cops

I’ve been getting oil changes here for probably 4-5 years. They give you a free wash with your oil change, fluid top off, fill your tires, change bulbs if you need it for really cheap. Plus sometimes there’s a cute dog there sometimes and the employees are always really nice and remember who you are!

Smells like it runs on marijuana...but decent wash and vacuum.

Came into this place with a running vehicle. Left with a tow truck to the nearest mechanic. I went here for a simple oil change, after it was finished my car would not start. They fidgeted with some things and stood around for about an hour. They eventually called a tow truck to take my vehicle to the nearest mechanic. After getting the diagnostic write up and bill, i went back to shop to see if they would help cover it. They said they wouldnt help because it wasnt their fault? The overall damage on my car may not be cause of them, but i drove my vehicle into this place and left with a tow truck. Unprofessional, zero customer service, and lost a customer forever. I didnt even get the 16 point inspection or a sincere apology. Theres 20 other oil change shops on Plainfield, i suggest going to a different one instead of this place.

Not the first time that Sparkling Image on Plainfield has closed early without any forewarning. Arrived over an hour before posted business hours said they were due to close and was greeted yet again with a closed facility. Drove an hour and a half because this place was recommended to me and I am sincerely disappointed. Again this is not the first occurrence so buyers beware and take your business elsewhere.

Absolutely fantastic employees. We had gotten stuck in the mud to the point that we had to be towed out, and we had told one of the employees that our car was shaking when we drove it and that there was mud jammed in the brake rotors. The employee spent a good ten minutes power washing our wheels and getting all of the mud out of our brakes, and when we got back on the highway the car ran beautifully again. The service was above and beyond.

I purchased car wash w/ underbody blast on Groupon and redeemed it at the store. First time I used the card, the service didnt include the underbody blast. Then I was given a new card for the next car wash, but when I used it, it didnt work. Then I requested a new card and a man said, Once youve redeemed the card, there is nothing I can do. As I insisted that they owed me a new card, he said, Leave my store, or Ill make you leave. If youre looking for unprofessional service, go somewhere else.

This place is THE BEST. I know.. who raves about an oil change place, right? I do, but I guess that speaks to how great these guys are, because I tell everyone who needs an oil change to go here. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are fair (and with an oil change you even get a free $10 wash, the vacuums are free, they’ll fill up your washer fluid, tires, etc.). Plus, today I learned that every Tuesday is ladies day and ladies get 20% off, which is an awesome perk that saved me $10. I have been here with 3 different vehicles and have always been taken care of. I won’t go anywhere else but here and the dealer. Thank you guys!

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. They lost 2 vehicle oil changes and washes because they said it was my fault I asked for the top wash package. I asked for the $15 a month deal and ended up with the $35 a month. After catching this they would not defund the difference so that’s it for me there. Rude is an understatement. Stay away from this place.

Worst car wash on Plainfield! Just went today, nice out figured I’d clean up the truck and get the salt off, do the 8$ wash and doesn’t look any different coming out the other end! Bugs on the front still bottom front bumper not even cleaned, still dirty down the whole side of the truck, no tire shine. Just awful so much for being sparkling! Hahaha

I paid for the $8 car wash hoping to get a good scrub and I didnt. The kids in the front looked like they were scrubbing with plain water and once I was finished the front of my car looked as if it was never touched. It had tons of dirt and dead bugs on it still. There was dirt that I could scrape off lightly with my nail that was still on. I more than likely wont be going back until they learn how to actually clean cars and get people working there that care.

Rude, and unprofessional. Did not use the brush on the windshields and front of my jeep. Came out with dirt still on it. Talked to Joe about a rewash, and he said that they dont do that anymore. Ill be finding another car wash!

I really like that they have guys washing down the car when you pull in the wash. My truck comes out much cleaner than those places that dont prep. Plus the prices are way better.❤Keep up the good work!!!

If there was a way to enter no stars I would. I tried to go in for a typical oil change, which I have done there for the past number of years. It was taking longer than usual and when someone finally said something it was stated the plug was on tight and they had stripped it more than how it came in but they were calling the manager to come take a look. When he showed up, he tried and failed to get it off. After being there for over 45 minutes he comes up and tells me its stripped too badly to do anything and its the first time in 15 years he hasnt been able to remove a plug. He said I should have been told this 20 minutes ago but its no big deal. I guess if I wasnt expecting a quick change then an extra 20-30 minutes sitting in the oil change might not be a big deal. I told him the worker that was trying before had stated they had stripped it worse. The manager simply said that cant be the case and good luck with that. For the cost of the oil change I will surely be able to find a place with better customer service who can do the same thing (and actually get the plug off too).

Just went through the car wash. Paid for the $10 wash. Hardly any of the triple foam soap touched the car. Worst carwash job ever. Total ripoff. Never coming back.

Enter at your own risk. The equipment is old, rusty and rundown. Im still trying to figure out what the wheelbarrow is for; not something you usually see in a carwash.

Oil change great guys cheep 25 dollor oil change with 5 dollor carwash and the they actully use the power washer if you tip and they do a grest job

So let me see if I get this right. I pay you $30 a month for unlimited car washes, right? Yet I see close for repair sign 2-3 days a week. Why do I stay with you? Your workers are hard working when they make sure salt is off - but your reliability is not good. I dont even drive by sometimes because it isnt around the corner.Frustrating to say the least.

Biggest joke Ive ever been to put20 bucks in the machine wouldnt give change back so attendant said come inside and he would give me the change go in and they said he didnt have it screw them i wouldnt tell anyone to go there bunch of cheats

Had the $30 a month unlimited wash pass. I enjoyed the pre wash scrub with a brush. Workers are not put together and are very young. The wash its self is dated and is sub par. I called to cancel the wash pass after it was no longer convient. I called and they told me since it was within 7 days of my billing date I still had to pay. I responded with resistance but agreed, 3 months later they are still charging me $30 a month. Would not recommend at all 0/5Was refunded, however had a very combative, rude and degrading manager. Terrible terrible terrible

Bad people, bunch of kids with no idea how to operate a business running the place I have wash tickets I purchased some time ago and the new owners didnt want to honor, I finally got them to agree to honor it and then they cheated me by not activating all the add ons. Manager claims they were doing me a favor to honor the wash tickets I bought. I would avoid this place like the plague. There is a better place just north of them on Plainfield you should visit instead.....

Just waited 3 minutes outside the oil change. No one there. Went inside and rang the help button twice. No answer. Somebody was obviously there as there was a cell phone just laying there being charged. Left after another 3 minutes inside. Went across the street to Valvoline. No wonder there were no customers at Sparkling Image

Ive always had great service and oil changes. Im in and out in no time, plus the car wash with the lubes option is a nice perk.

Paint scratched down to the body and to top it off the back end of my car was not even clean. Brought it to the managers attention and was give excuse after excuse. They would not even attempt to make it right. Out money for the wash and now have to pay to have my car fixed. Loyal customer lost.

Although the car was scrubbed before the $10 wash I returned home less than 2 miles away to find dirt in the grill and front bumper area that could be wiped off with my finger. The rocker panels looked like they didnt even get touched. The worst part is the tire shine which is the specialty of the $10 wash...it covers half of the tire which looks worse than if it wasnt even done at all. I might be rather picky but used to go here with all my vehicles when it was touch of class and it wasnt like this. I think they are sacrificing quality to pay for the high tech upgrades i.e. the machines to take your money but still require a worker to operate them. I could have went back but my time is worth something too.

Went there today for an oil change and replace a turn signal bulb. Technician tells me he would have to rip off the bumper to get to the light bulb and cant do it. Then he proceeds to have me check my turn signals and high beams???? Nonsense, he just told me he cant replace the bulbs!As Im leaving, I look up at their sign and see it flashing we change bulbs.What a disappointment. Please train and give your people the tools and resources to do their jobs properly.

Had great customer service, but one lane was closed for credit only I didnt see the rinky dink handmade sign so I knock on door the guy comes out to tell me to look a sign while 3 cars went around me, I didnt think that was fair. So Im being sarcastic when I say it was great, Im sticking my tongue out.

I cant get them to cancel my unlimited plan. Luckily I paid with credit card and my credit card company disputes the charge each month. So I dont have to actually pay for a service I no longer use. Still kind of annoying and not a good business practice.

They dont spend enough time in the pre wash. On Windows and grill. I was only one in line so they were not to busy to do a good job. But it is like that at most car washes.
