We had Modernistic clean the tile on the floors and tub surrounds for 113 guest rooms in our hotel and use them often for carpet cleaning. They always do a great job and work with our schedule. Dave did an amazing job and was a pleasure to work with. He is a asset to the company!

Our technician, Tom P, arrived promptly and worked in a careful and efficient manner, explaining what he was doing as he worked. The results were just phenomenal! The berber carpeting really showed a remarkable difference! The most amazing thing, though, was the old linoleum floor after he cleaned and brushed it. Looks like new! Pictures dont do justice to the huge difference. Smells great and looks great! Will definitely be calling again for his great service! (excellent prices, too)

They cleaned & disinfected our entire homes air duct system, not an easy job ! Wonderful, polite, efficient, clean gentlemen that didnt push for other work . They just asked for a call to the office with a report if how they did : good or bad ! WONDERFUL JOB DONE HERE !

Sam, the tech that came to clean our carpets did a fantastic job, he worked late and paid great attention to detail in the job he did, making sure that the carpets were clean. My service was having my air ducts cleaned. Dustin and Nick were professional. They wore masks to keep us safe. Called me to let me know they were on the way. Appointment time was between 9 am-1 pm. They showed up around 9:30 am. After I showed them the furnace they got right to work cleaning out the ducts and vents on our main level. They also cleaned out our dryer vent. We used a coupon as well and got $75 dollars off. The whole process took about 1 hour.

Returning customer do to past satisfaction. Dave was on time, very cordial, and did a great job.Will use your company next time also.

UPDATE: Modernistic QC reached out the day after HVAC tech came out. They apologized for the down furnace time and refunded me the amount of the repair and added compensation for furnace downtime and time spent resolving the issue.Overall if this issue was handled quickly with more focus on getting the furnace looked at I would have been happier. I hope this changes how future customers are treated with any issues.TLDR: Happy with carpets, broke my furnace.I hired modernistic to clean all the carpets in my house and also clean all the vents.The carpet guys came out first and did a great job. They moved our furniture and did their best to remove stains. Furniture was put back on either foam pads or plastic squares to protect legs.Then the vent guys came and did a great job cleaning all the vents. The carpet guys had told my wife to turn up the heat to dry the carpets so she did and the main furnace (extra furnace for addition) would not turn on. When I got home from work I tried the furnace and was able to get the fan to turn on but no heat. I called modernistic and they said a tech would be out the next morning (lucky I have a second furnace in winter). The tech came in the morning and turned on the fan. He claimed that the furnace had power and was working when he left the day before so we had to call an HVAC tech. He then left.I called from work and explained how my furnace was still not working and told to wait for a callback. At 4:30 I called an HVAC company for a service call since I was now 30 hours without my main house furnace. At 4:40 modernistic called back and said The way our techs clean vents can in no way break a furnace.Im not unreasonable. I didnt want a new furnace. I wanted mine to work like it did the morning before their techs touched it.At the time of this review I am waiting for my service call at which point I will be 48 hours without main house heat in winter. Modernistic management said they will send my complaint to QC. I am disappointed.UPDATE: HVAC tech came out. Wire for inducer motor found disconnected inside unit. The tech hooked the wire back up and I had heat again. Service was $91. Nobody was inside that furnace besides modernistic.

We scheduled them for a air duct cleaning. After they arrived they took photos of our ducts and determined a cleaning had been done before we moved in about 3 years ago. They said we didnt need it saving us money. VERY ETHICAL! Thanks much!

He pointed out specific areas which might not be successfully cleaned due to the condition of the flooring. Gotta love an upfront person.And his work was spot on! Elbert, my technician cleaned four rooms and sofa for my mother today. Called me at eight letting me know of the arrival time. He was prompt, courteous, and did a fantastic cleaning application. Would used the company again.

I had called and made an appointment, after the midland, MI issues with flooding. They were to come clean our 3 rooms on a Monday, on the Thursday before they call me at 6 pm and state that they need to move my appointment back to over a week later, they need to send more crews to midland. I had revolved the showings of my house around this date and this cleaning, and they didnt care. They couldnt send one truck our way for an hour, the rooms are empty and small. This is no way to run a business, just because you can charge the insurance companies mega money to do the work in midland, you shouldnt have all your trucks going you should still allow for some to do non emergency work as well. Very frustrating and now I have to find someone else to come out and be able to do this 3 days! I am only giving one star because I have to, you deserve NONE! I will contact some local, someone who deserves my money.

Rob and Fred H. came out yesterday and cleaned our Air Ducts. They called ahead and were on time. They were Professional, Thorough, Friendly and quick. We also had a 2nd crew for our Furniture Cleaning Sean C. He was also Professional, Thorough, Friendly and did an excellent job on our sofas. Both crews explained what they were doing and answered any concerns we had. I would highly recommend Modernistic and these crews

Robby (and ..?) came out to my house and did a wonderful job cleaning all the ducts and the dryer vent. They educated me on the importance of having this done and answered all of my questions. Very professional and nice guys!

I asked when I called to schedule my appointment if there was help to move the furniture. They said yes. When the job was done, they didnt move anything. Dust under everything. Didnt do anything that their vaccum/spray attachment didnt fit. When he left I took off my shoes and walked across the wet carpet in my socks. They ended up filthy. Piss poor job. Makes me wonder how well the duct cleaning really is. Nice guys but horrible work. I dont reccomend them at all

The guys were great as was the lady on the phone !!However after the Carpet Dried the Animal spots came back along with some other dirt. It looked alittle better after they were done but not much. I probably wont be using them again.

They did an amazing job cleaning our air ducts and even cleaned the dryer vent which has never been done. Every person we talked to, from the start to end was extremely friendly, patient and helpful

Have them come and clean my ducts out throughout my entire house specifically asked the worker before they started the job that I would like before and after pictures taken so I can see everything that was removed and that it was well worth the money I spent and as my luck usually runs the job gets done I asked for the photos and the guy had no clue of what I was talking about until I said I spoke with your coworker and specifically said that I would like pictures before and after of the work never got it thats the only thing Im disappointed about besides that everything was great.

My experience:Everyone I had contact with at Modernistic was friendly, personable and professional. However, the traffic areas of my carpet did not get completely clean, so I called them back. They were very receptive, cooperative and were back the next day. A more senior employee cleaned some of the problem areas while giving me several reasons why they wont look clean again.He succeeded in getting a small area clean but not the rest of the problem area. If he could get one area clean, why couldnt he get the rest to look the same? Actually, Scott got the worst spot to look good.My conclusions:Scott could have gotten all of the problem area clean, but simplylacked the desire.I will not be a repeat customer.

I called Modernistic to perform a carpet cleaning service today between 8am-1pm. It is 1:20pm and I received no call. I’ve called their customer service four times now and was told that they must be “running behind.” The last customer service representative was apologetic and will talk to the manager about this. It doesn’t seem like this business is run very well. I am shocked by the unprofessionalism and lack of respect for people’s time that this company displays. I canceled my apt and will be giving my business elsewhere.

There was a disconnect between the phone people and the cleaners. I was given incorrect info. Then the cleaners just threw everything on my kids bed and it pulled off his AJR concert poster that he spent lots of money on at a recent concert. The guys new i had a bad back and was laid up on the couch so they moved done stiff for me but never put anything back. They decided to move done stiff but not others...it just didnt make sense. Thank God i wasnt paying and my landlord was or if want drone type of discount.i will say the guy was very moved and informative but that doesnt make up for the negatives. Never use modernistic. Stick with mom and pop local small businesses.
