Dustin did a great job running tests to show us exactly what was in our water. He was super personable and professional.

Very frustrating company to deal with. Their equipment is lifetime guaranteed, but they charge you almost $200 each time something happens with your water softener. Also had an issue when we first had the softener installed with some bad plumbing and had a major water leak for a day and a half. $400 water bill! We just built a new house and had the water softener installed here...$600 later, Come to find out 4 months later that it hasnt been working this whole time when I went to add salt to it. Apparently on the receipt (that I never received) it says that we have 1 month to call them with any issues. Now I have to pay another $180 or whatever it is for them to come out and fix a Motor or switch failure? I wonder if they messed it up on purpose? Im stuck making $120 payments for 6 more years. One of the biggest financial mistakes I have ever made. Dont use this company!!

At first glance, rainsoft seems really awesome! But this is only at first glance.The sales guy comes out, shows you what the system is capable of doing. Then quotes you a price that is three times more expensive than the other guys. Tells you it seems expensive, but you will never have to replace a filter (lie number one), you only have to keep topping it up with salt.He also tells you they will give you a 5 year supply of soap for a family of 4 (semi lie number two). He also gave us a ton of coupons that don’t work and a “free” vacation package that requires a $200 non-refundable deposit and for you to mail your credit card number written down on a piece of paper. All of these offers together easily being worth the price of the system alone.Sounds like a great deal huh?After buying the system. None of the coupons work, we weren’t going to mail our credit card number written down on a piece of paper. The soap they give you lasts 2 months and you can only order it every 9 months, we only had a family of 3. So, as far as we’re concerned they lied about all of the extras they give you.Now, a year has passed sense we bought our system. They called us telling us it’s time to replace our filters. $120 for the filters under the sink, and $150 for the main filter, and the price for a service call on top of that. Why am I replacing filters on a system that I will never have to replace filters on? Complete scam, the system costs 3 times as much as comparable systems. The filters also cost 3 times as much.Also, when they financed the system, they report it to my credit as revolving credit. So I have a “credit card” reporting 80% usage on my credit, making it look bad.I would like someone to come remove this system and refund the price of the entire system. I will go and buy a system from someone else for a third of the price.

Does not work. And the customer service I get is, is like buying a car, after 3 days its yours. There is nothing to do. And could take several weeks to tell a difference.They would not call me back for weeks. Reached out to corporate, and still has to reach back out. Now Im being told its a Texas thing to submit it in 3 days.Then was told I need to call Rainsoft? You are the distributor.I just want them to come get this garbage.

The water tester was actually a sales person. He arrived with a very large bag, full of test equipment. After confirming the water was hard, and had particulates, he went on with a high pressure sales pitch. The sales pitch lasted at least 15 minutes. I could only get the low price right then, tomorrow it would be twice the cost. Difficult to get him to accept no as an answer.

We have had our Rainsoft system for 3 weeks now - and we love it! Our salesperson was Anthony Cassell; he was very nice, knowledgeable, and came off as very honest. We were comparing Rainsoft to another company which our builder had a deal with already and while Rainsoft was much more expensive, it was clear Rainsoft was the better choice. Why? Lifetime warranty for starters, your Rainsoft system/warranty can move with you if you ever move, Rainsoft has been in business for many years under the same name (unlike the other company who had changed their DBA), Rainsoft has excellent reviews on BBB/Consumer reports, Rainsoft sends certified plumbers to install your system, no service fees the first year if there are issues then after that the service fee is minimal, and about 10 other reasons! Anthony scheduled our install for next day, our installer was on time, thorough, spent all day installing the system in 100+ heat and still took time to answer all questions we had plus he installed an extra line to our refrigerator (so now we have alkaline ice cubes)! It has taken longer than expected to get the air bubbles out of the reservoir (i think we did not fully drain the tank as we were instructed to do). There has been no greater feeling than to give our young kids a clear clean glass of water from the tap knowing the unhealthy stuff has been removed. I wash my wine glasses in the dishwasher now because they come out crystal clear! Washing our hands and bathing now feels like washing in lotion water because the water is so soft! I appreciate that Anthony did not try to pressure us into a decision, he just gave us the details and answered questions then let us take as long as we needed. This was a huge investment for our family. I purposely waited a few weeks so that i could provide my most honest review of Rainsoft and the EnviroTech people who assisted us. Ive gone with 5 stars because I do feel like this was the right decision for our family and because I would recommend this company to others.

They got my info from Home Depot. They sent their salesman when my wife was home under the guise of a free water test. Then they push the $6,500 water softener on you and your wife as if you need to make a decision right away. The guy even signed me up for a Home Depot credit card which all the interest added up, since I didnt pay it off in time, and ended up having to get another loan to pay that off. Then they send you postcards saying your system is dirty and want you to pay for service calls. These systems are much cheaper than what was paid and you can find ones to maintenance yourself. I want to distance myself from this scheme so left the water softener at the house I just sold.

Richard was fun, kind, and courteous during his demonstration of the water filtration system. Throughout the entire time, my wife and I asked several questions - Richard didnt skip a beat. He was able to easily answer anything we came up with; the man clearly is knowledgeable in his profession.Near the end, we didnt feel pressured to purchase anything and knew that he was thinking about us, our needs, and finances before making any decisions.Anybody who receives a demo from Richard should count themselves lucky!

I have to say I am very satisfied with our decision to purchase Rainsoft for our home. The quality cant be matched. They named it right because this is THEE softest water I have ever experienced! Welp upon the installation, the unit was leaking inside my home where it caused damage to my walls and wood floors. Rain soft did not assume responsibility and furthermore wouldn’t take the unit back. So if I could give them negative stars I would. The total damage it caused was $7500 years

His attitude and energy was just phenomenal. He explained everything in detail made sure I understood the process and the purpose of the water testing. We loved our visit with Anthony from RainSoft. We were interested in treating our water because we recently moved and we didn’t like that our water wasn’t soft like it was at our old house. Anthony came with his water test kit and a ton of super entertaining and informative experiments that showed us not only the hardness level of our water, but the impurities as well. I honestly felt like I was at a magic show. I kept checking bottles and asking him to redo things so I could watch closer because it was so hard to believe that our water was THAT bad, but it was. Anthony was so much fun while also being extremely informative. You can tell he knows ALL the information. He answered every question we threw at him without hesitation. I wanted to wait and write my review until we could really test our the water for ourselves. We have had our system for one day and we’re in love. I am extremely picky about the water that I drink and can’t even drink some bottled water because of the taste. I had used EVERY filter imaginable and I’ve never been able to find one that I can use because it all still tastes like tap water, but when I tried our water from our new facet I was amazed. It really does taste like the bottled water I’m use to drinking. Overall we’re very happy with our experience so far.

My experience with Rainsoft has been a pleasant surprise. I did get taken back that it was a sale pitch but felt the information provided was beneficial. The information about the water hardness and testing proved almost unbelievable if we did not see it ourselves. Furthermore, the price is ridiculous high. The sale pitch and the price would have any potential customer wanting to run away. However, the sale pitch was perfect and good. I felt that the Rainsoft rep. cared and wanted my husband and I to understand the long term benefits of a water softening system. He was relatable and thoroughly answered all our questions. Also, appreciate his excellent standards of service.Overall, the process was easy with the paperwork and installation of product. A month later we still love our system and can tell the difference.Many people like our water system but once disclosed price that turns them away from a personal investment. If you guys can find some cost savers that would be great. The phone customer service is also highly recommended. Thank you Rainsoft for helping us save and have quality water at home.

Last week we had Anthony with Rain Soft come and test our water and talk with us about the product. Anthony was great he was very knowledgeable and funny he made it easy to listen and understand, he was even great at answering my husband questions. Because we just purchased our house less then a month ago we were not able to purchase but my husband and I are thinking we will in the near future.

The worst experience ever. Poor customer service. Literally a charge for everything. Water is not “ Rain Soft”. Equipment has given our house cloudy water and when we have called to report the issue they respond by saying it’ll be 60 dollars for 30 minutes to observe the issue. Horrible service especially in a pandemic. Wished them nothing but bad luck.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend this. I spent almost 8,000 out of pocket paid in full. That was almost 6 months ago. The whole purpose was to get clean nice water. The water taste like salt everywhere. They’ve come to my house about 3 times for this issue and it’s still the same. I called because they have a “100% satisfaction garauntee” and told them since it’s been so long and the issue is still the same I want them to take back the system and give me my money back. They told me that was not an option but they’d replace the system. I don’t want a new system I want my money back for this machine that makes everything taste disgusting. It’s worthless. I still buy bottle water every week. The guy who sold it to be told me if I didn’t like it I could return at ANY TIME didn’t mention the time frame. I’ve never wrote a review in my life but I felt the need to warn everyone that this product is not up to standard for the price you pay. ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC. Absolutely ridiculous. Two stars only because at least the lady on the phone “diedre?”tries to help with the situation every time I call.

So the water is great but there are so many hidden cost that come with the system that they do not tell you on the front end. Like everything you do concerning your water from the day you have it installed will have to be a call to them to make an appointment and have a technician come out. Filter has to be changed by them once a year, another filter changed every two years including the one year filter and another every 3 years with the one year filter with super high cost to you, plus the cost of the technician. Do you need to replace your kitchen sink faucet well, you’ll need to call them to come disconnect the rain soft system from a change of $139 (just to disconnect people). This is not worth the money in my opinion. You’d do better to just buy your own reverse osmosis system for your kitchen sink, install it yourself. At that point you’ll have the good clean water and be able to change the filter yourself and any repairs that need to be done you’ll be able to do for the price of the parts. Do your research and ask all the questions before choosing this system, they are sales people and like all the others leave a lot out when they come to sell it to you. I’m extremely disappointed and spend a lot of time reconsidering my decision to purchase this system. The two stars are for the water only.

I did not know what to expect from this water testing/lab experiment. Luckily, my water technician was Chipper Ellingson! He showed up on time and was very prepared. Explained everything clearly and extremely friendly. If I could have bought two, I probably would have. I would highly recommend Rainsoft for anyone that cares about their quality of life and water. I would also highly recommend Chipper as your technician. I just hope he does not get promoted too quickly otherwise people might miss out on such a great experience!

Nate did a wonderful job showing us the RainSoft system! Who knew how harsh the water was that we are using? That explains the dry skin, stiff clothes out of the laundry, and dried residue on our glasses. The RainSoft system seems incredibly easy to use and shows a great return on investment.

Had to buy the system out of the pure joy of working with a pro like Anthony. Havent used the system yet but trust HomeDepot and the companys reputation. Super service and install the same day.

Ive had the pleasure being friends with one of the water treatment plant employees that provides service to our area who has treated water for over 30 years and he was able to confirm everything Dustin told us. These folks take pride in their products and the services they provide. Honesty goes a long ways and youll not be disappointed, I know I wasnt. Couldnt be happier with themia their lifetime guarantee and to top it off, the installer Cannon Installations was by far the best contractor i have ever had the pleasure doing business with! Rain Soft struck gold with Mr. Sharp and sweetened the deal with Shawn Cannon for the installation!!

The presentation was easy to understand, very thorough, and interactive. We were looking at other water filtration systems, but opted to go with Rain Soft after Anthonys explanation of how the systems work and what all is offered. Also, at no point did he try to up-sell anything and answered all question clearly and directly.

We did a lot of research on water softeners before contacting Home Depot, and we wanted to see if they could send someone out to verify our water hardness and give their recommendation on what kind of softener system we would need for our home. They didnt even send a tech or a certified plumber - they sent a salesman who did not wear a mask in our home for 2 hours. He did a lot of demonstrations to show how hard our water was, and I endured most of it because I thought he would give a comprehensive quote at the end. But as it turns out, the salesman just worked for Rainsoft and was trying to sell a ridiculously expensive ($8000) system. When we said we wanted to think on it, he got extremely pushy and started being somewhat condescending of the fact that my wife and I needed time to think on such a big purchase. Ive met car salesman who were less pushy than this demonstration, and it seems apparent that their strategy is to get you to quickly sign before you come to your senses about how overpriced this system is. From our research and this turn of events, Im very glad we chose to pass on this. Please - at the very least tell your salesmen to wear masks when entering homes during a pandemic.

While explaining everything he tried to engage the whole family and was very funny. He was also very patient and understanding while I was trying to translate everything in Spanish. Dustin came in and did a very good job showing us the differences in the water and explaining what the system does and how we could benefit from it. He was never a pressure type salesmen just simply gave us options to choose and did his best tk explain the differences snd benefits. .

I seem to be the minority when it comes to their experience with this company.We enjoyed the presentation we received from the salesman (Dusty Russell) and ended up purchasing the product. I feel we were deceived by the entire process. There was no explanation given about financing - just a “sign here and someone will call you” situation. I want to KNOW what I’m signing and as I was reading the paper and seeing the 11.9% Interest that we have to pay every month for our payment, I feel I was deceived because our salesman (Dusty Russell) never explained this to us. We asked if we could purchase the system outright and he said no.That seems very shady, but we wanted to go forward so we signed the paperwork. About a week later a girl from the financing company called me and I asked her to explain the 11.9% payment versus paying for the machine outright. I calculated the monthly payment ($135) and it would take 5 1/2 years to pay for the cost of the machine ($8995). $16 of that payment goes towards interest which means we are paying approximately $1000 more than we would if we could purchase it outright. Which they said we can’t do.Then the day that the softener was installed the installation team put a hole in our ceiling and was very apologetic but it’s been over two weeks and no one has contacted us, even though they said they would, to come and repair it. We are very disappointed by this. We still have not received the air purifier that we were promised as well.I called Envirotech to discuss the status of our order and why we have not received any product we were promised and why the installer has not come to fix our ceiling, and I spoke to someone who said that someone else at the company will have to call me back. I’m still waiting for that call.Overall, I’m very dissatisfied with the entire experience. I have yet to see much of an improvement as well in the quality of our water and we have had the system installed for over two weeks now. I feel I was misled and I will be reaching out to the company to receive an explanation. Hopefully I can get ahold of someone. We will see.

We had a representative from Home Depot contact us asking if we wanted someone to come test our water free of charge. Since we moved into a new home we thought sure. We were very disappointed to find out that it was a sales pitch to buy a water filter! Not even a Home Depot representative. He came in our house was very condensing and demanding. I have the water system and that works fantastic. Im not always pleased with the attitude with the technician i get. I expect them to be a bit friendlier and would think theyd want to be more helpful. I am frustrated because i called them to get it disconnected and at the last moment he says oh and it must stay up right or itll damage the system and we wont cover that in your warranty. I asked how i was supposed to transport it and he says they can tilt a little. But how much is a little? If its this much hassle can there not be a service allowed to help transport to my new location?

I had a water test done today by Harry aka the Undertaker of water, and he was very respectable and professional. He made the experience very enjoyable and highly recommend him as a water technician.

We got the system installed no charge the same week and the results were better than expected to think even my bathroom sink water is cleaner and safer than my Primo water dispenser from Wal-Mart.
