What can I say? Paul Bunyan Tree Service (Steve - Owner) and crew transformed my back yard into a Paradise. My south forty has no lawn, just trees, shrubs and ground cover. Steve climbs each tree and removes all dead branches and trims any branches that come in contact with each other or extends past a sidewalk, driveway or pool and thins as needed. He has such passion for the trees that I knew he was the ONLY ONE to do my job just from talking to him that first visit. I had so many trees growing together that he expanded my wonderful view. I had a Butterfly Garden for Birds planted this morning by a Nursery Specialist and her husband kept staring at the back yard. He said he could just sit and look at it every day. Their crew did a quick, efficient job of pruning a bur oak as well as cutting up a huge ash tree limb and hauling all to the curb for bulk trash to pick up. Afterwards, they left our yard as if they had never done all of their work.

Tree, BIG TREE, fell on our house about 4 am . I called Paul Bunyan at 6:30 and they actually answered the phone. Steve arrived shortly after 7:30 and the game was on. This was not your typical tree removal since it involved a crane and lots of equipment. They did a great job and i highly recommend their services.

Called Paul Bunyan Tree Service to cut down a dead tree on my residential property. They came to do a quote the SAME DAY ( on a Saturday) we called about an inquiry and removed the tree the very next Monday, not to mention it was raining some when they started. Steve and his team were very friendly, professional, and efficient. We chose the option to leave the wood so we can use for firewood and they left the wood stacked in a very neat pile. Would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them in the future!!

I cannot recommend Paul Bunyan Tree Service enough. My husband and I found ourselves in a real tree emergency and PBTSs 24 hour service really saved the day. Misty, Steve and their team all went above and beyond to get rid of the HUGE tree limb that was causing us grief as well as did everything they could to make sure that we were protected from further damage before a huge storm came in. They were quick and efficient and did an excellent job. If you chose them for you tree services you will be in very good hands.

Steve and his crew were onsight right on time to take on a massive pecan tree in my backyard. They were all professional and courteous. Unfortunately, I had gone with another tree service initially when I decided it was time for the tree to come down. Well a week later and very little progress, I called Paul Bunyan. Steve came out to do an estimate the same day I called (yesterday) and he and his crew were here this morning and done this afternoon! HELL YEAH! I recommend this company.

The four workers did a great job on a tricky limb removal 30 feet above the ground. The limb weighed several hundred pounds, was still attached to the main trunk and was caught up in an adjacent tree. They did the work safely, quickly, and at less than half the fee we were quoted by another firm. Id definitely trust them with any future work we might have.

Another outstanding job again today. We use them on a annual basis and they always cleanup every leaf on the ground. The crew is very knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend.

I texted Paul Bunyan a picture of my tree. The tree was located in a tight corner between my wall and fence. In fact, 2 other tree services refused this work. Paul Bunyan said they could do it. They gave me a date. They kept that date, and completed the tree removal and stump grinding on the date we set 2 months in advance. When they came out, they were done within 3 hours! Ive used several different tree services in the past and was never very happy with any of them. After seeing Paul Bunyans work on a neighbors yard, I hired them to do a major trimming of the many trees in my back yard. Tuesday February 12 2019. After five years of dealing with giant red wasps making hives, millions of accorns dropping every where, leaves and other debris, I finally had my Live Oak tree removed from my front yard! Good ridden !!! (LOL) I never liked this tree, I always thought it was ugly. Steve and his crew did a fantastic job returning my front yard back to normal. Now I can grow a nice green lawn.

Had a 60’ tree that encroached on our house and roof. PB Tree Service took down the entire tree in a professional manner with careful rigging. They ground down the large stump (4+ feet diameter) and left the yard clear. Sad to see the tree go, but pleased with Paul Bunyan Tree Service.

This is the 2nd time in the last four years that we have had our four 45 year live oaks pruned and shaped. Steve and team do an outstanding job both from a safety perspective as they climb with bungee cords to the tallest parts of the tree as well as pruning the tree with precision always ensuring there is no damage to the trees. Unlike those that just cut the lower branches, they know what proper pruning techniques are. (Plus cut and stacked a nice amount of fire wood.) We will use again.

We had scheduled a tree removal in our front yard and last minute asked them to remove several bushes in our back yard, and they did without hesitation. Professional from scheduling tree removal to clearing the yard after my Maple tree was cut down. My carport and storage building was so close, but they carefully lowered the large branches. This was a very big tree over 40 years old. Ill definitely use them again.

Misti is very quick with the email correspondence and Steve & his crew did a spectacular job cutting down 3 problem trees: 1 growing into and damaging my roof in 2 places and the other 2 trees were in contact with the chain link fence. They cut them down to very short stumps without damaging anything. I was also very impressed with their cleanup. Their price was very fair and their service level is second to none. Great job guys!

We unfortunately had a 175 year old Post Oak fall into the corner of our house and yard at 6am on a Saturday morning. Steve and his crew were there by 10:30 am and had it all cut up and cleaned out that day. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and concern to have it cleaned up as best they could. We also had them remove another diseased tree on our property that was hanging over our neighbors house. I was worried that it would fall as well, into my neighbor’s bedroom. Similar aged Post Oak. They did an excellent job at removing this large over-hanging tree with no damage to either property.I was extremely impressed with Steve and his crew’s professionalism and response. Paul Bunyan Tree Service came through in the crunch. A massive tree fell on the roof of my house when my wife and I were out of town on a trip. I found out from a neighbor and called PBTS. they went out to the house within a few hours, made an estimate that was well within the ball park for my house insurer, worked with me to arrange payment over the phone, and took care of getting the branch off the roof and taken away the next day. They did a great job with minimal damage to ornamental shrubbery. A well deserved 5 star recommendation!

I first called for a quote on Saturday. They came the next afternoon and gave me an excellent price. Then came the following day and did exactally what I wanted done. They even stacked the wood neatly and out of the way but still near our fire pit. I am very happy and will be calling again the next time I need my trees trimmed.

I highly recommend them to remove big trees. I was extremely pleased with everything: promptness, courtesy, business manner, precision, price, knowledge, and workmanship. They were very careful, taking extra care with all the surroundings, and cleaned up beautifully.

I called with an emergency tree situation. A tree was being uprooted in my backyard and leaning towards my house. It was about 100-150 ft tree. They asked for pics of the tree and stated they would give me an estimate over the phone. The estimate they gave me was $3500.00 and stated that they wouldnt even send anyone out until a credit card payment went through for the amount. This seemed like fraud to me as I never pay full price upfront. The moment I expressed my concerns the lady on the line got rude. I told her I didnt think I could do that and she said ok and we ended the call. I feel like this was highway robbery, potential fraud and the lack of consideration of my concerns a bit alarming. I removed the tree myself for about $350.00.

These guys just finished trimming my two large live oak trees in my front lawn. I had to watch them the whole time because I was amazed at the work they were doing. I called Misty when a (very) large tree in our front yard started to crack and a large branch was starting to fall. I could not believe how fast they completed the work (taking down a 100ft. pecan tree over a pool and house in one day) and how nice my yard looked after. Paul Bunyan Tree Service is the type of company that all others should strive to become. They are exceptionally nice, helpful and precisely on time. Steve was very knowledgeable and quickly identified what needed to be trimmed and made excellent suggestions regarding what was really needed with trying to over sell the job. I had several trees that had grown up against the roof plus several others that needed to be reshaped and corrected. The crew showed up on time as promised and I was also impressed that the team members used proper safety equipment including safety glasses. Inspection after they had completed the job showed that they performed exactly what was promised, no more and no less than expected. I was concerned that I would be left with Q tipped tress as some of the trimmers in my area have done to neighbors. The cleanup was such that without the fact that the problem limbs were removed, you would not have even known they had been there. I highly recommend BY for any tree work that you may need.

Steve gave me an affordable quote compared with other companies I had come to look at removing our tree. They did an excellent job considering the large tree was right over the roof. It had to be cut section by section and lowered down by rope. I was just happy no damage was done since we had just install a new roof a few weeks before :). Their wood chipper broke down so they wasnt able to haul all the branches, they came back to remove the rest on the day Steve said they would. Steve kept his word and I appreciate that. I will definitely call them again for next time we need the service. Give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

Steve and his crew did an amazing job. The results were better than expected. They took down a large tree that hung over fences and a smaller tree. They expertly used ropes to get limbs to come down without damaging anything. In two hours, the tree was down and the area cleaned up. Steve also offered advice on a pecan tree that had twisted branches that would have eventually killed one or both, and he trimmed a branch. Service above and beyond. Thanks.

Paul b Bunyan tree service came to do a job across the street from me. He took the brush and limbs from their tree and stacked it along the curb and on my lawn on my side of the street. I had to move it myself back across the street to get it removed. Beware..... Dishonest and underhanded behavior.. I would not recommend them for any reason...... Not a customer.... The guys did an awesome job. I had dead trees with limbs entangled in overhead electrical and cable wires and a big cedar tree starting to grow into my fence. There were guide wires located very near the cedar tree. I had used Paul Bunyan Tree Services before and they did a fantastic job then, as well, so I knew they were quite capable of handling this touchy situation. They are professional. They do an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards, too. Great service, personable, fair prices. I highly recommend them and will use them for all my tree removal or tree trimming needs.

Saturday (May 23, 2015) during the rain storms that hit Arlington, 23 out of 29 days in May, as it rained, one of our huge trees in our yard toppled over and landed on top of my Van. This tree was about 1500 pounds of dead weight. Roxann Skinner recommended Paul Bunyan Tree Service to remove this tree that had my van trapped. RIP OFF-asked for a quote to cable and brace a tree and they quoted me $3.000. I received quotes from $560-1000. I believe they saw my address and saw $$$, price tripled. Dishonest people. Will not do business with any company that thinks they can rip people off. Crazy. Just wow!

I telephoned Paul Bunyan. They asked me to either text them pictures to get a quote or they offered to have someone come out. I texted. I knew before the day of the service, what the cost would be. The workers arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up the mess. I would definitely recommend them and I plan to use them again for future tree services.

Steve gave an estimate on Saturday morn and the job was completed by 5 PM, the subsequent Monday. Excellent service and highly recommended.

I had a very large (24 year old) Arizona Ash tree in my front yard that died this year and I wanted it removed before any damage from it would be caused to my and my neighbors houses. I had an estimate from a local company but had called Paul Bunyan for an estimate but had not contacted my yet so I told him I would let him know.Thank God I did not use him. Steve called me and said that he was looking at the Google map and game me an estimate $800.00 lower because he gave me a Veterans or Senior (maybe both) discount. He and his crew did a fantastic job even during the on and off rain. They did leave a stump higher that my my wife wanted but I contacted them my email on a Sunday and was notified the same day that they would come out on June 3 to cut the stump down another 24 inches at no charge.Highly recommend Paul Bunyan Tree Service to anyone,.
