TruJOKE! The absolute worst management, scheduling, followup. Ive been DESPERATELY trying to get a call back from the Grand Prairie manager Andrew Palmer for WEEKS. The answering service claims to have sent him numerous emails, but the man hasnt called me in 2 weeks. Ive got WEEDS growing everywhere after 2 applications over 6 weeks. They send specialists on the wrong days, they dont return phone calls. Their chat is another TruJOKE for getting messages to the right people. If I had the money, Id open up some real competition with real service, and real management.

Very irresponsible and non responsive regarding requests for personal assistance. I have two services, lawn and mosquito and bug defense. I am having issues with both. Continued weeds that TruGreen said they could address, which I still have weeds after months of treatments. Treatment for mosquito and bug defense was not completed properly, only completing service for mosquitos and not bugs. I have been waiting for a callback from a supervisor for weeks.

Speedy scheduling for armyworm emergency! Brandon W was very helpful, explained everything he would do, answered all my questions, went back to the office to get the right product for armyworms after consulting his manager and came back in less than 1 hour. Thank you!!!

TERRIBLE customer service!!! We had sod installed and wanted to use TruGreen to fertilize and spray for weeds. We received the first weed control spraying and were scheduled for fertilizing a few weeks after. That scheduled appointment has been moved back 3 separate times with no reason and they are impossible to reach via phone.Since we kept getting pushed back, we tried to cancel all services as we cannot put off fertilizing if we want our grass as healthy as possible, especially with it being new sod. Several attempts to call and cancel were made and each time there was a wait time of 2 hours. Fine, I waited, and each time the line was picked up, it also disconnected me. Not surprisingly, when I called and entered the extension for new service, I was put on the phone with a representative right away, only to be transferred to the same place after discussing what I needed.It seems they hope to bleed a few more bucks out of people by making it nearly impossible to cancel services and then show up unannounced to spray and then bill again. Its a vicious cycle that only hurts the customers they are supposed to help. Absolutely despicable business practice.

I will never use this company again. Please do not use TruGreen out of Grand Prairie, Texas their a joke with terrible service. They use COVID 19 as their excuse for everything.

After I waited for two and half hours someone finally calls me back and reschedules my appointment that they did not perform but charged me and said oops we did the wrong lawn . They are scheduled for today at 6:00 so I can be there and now they are at my house at 10:37 !!!! When I call customer service it says the wait is 2-2 1/2 wait. If you request new service they pick up immediately !! WTH ?? Worst customer service I have EVER experienced.

They provided a complete lawn health service short of cutting and watering the lawn.

BUYERS BEWARE! They will service your lawn without any notification then bill you for it!! Tru-greed.In October of 2019 I prepaid almost $800 in a year of service for my front and back yard to be treated for massive sticker weed problems. They assured me that in one year I would have a beautiful lawn and treatment would include 2 aerations, of the front and back,and monthly treatments.I still have weeds and stickers that I hand pick from the yard before I mow.1. .I was never notified they were coming until after they were on their way and that was via gmail while I was at work, so my backyard rarely got serviced because my gate is locked.Then, when I complained about them not notifying me, they assured me they would in the future but never did.2. They tried to sell me additional services for pest control for my trees and bushes. Twice. Cant call me to say they are on their way but they can call to try to get more money.3. They never notified me that the prepaid service was about to end. They auto-renewed the service in June (even though I was told it was a year service) then sent me a bill and have me on an auto call service telling me I have an outstanding bill.4. Their welcome letter tells you that they will contact you when its time to renew so that you can prepay, I never got that letter or a call or any notice that my prepaid service was over.Be careful with hiring their service. They will charge you an arm and a leg, not deliver on promises, have no problem only treating part of your yard and calling it done, and they will auto renew without ANY notification and send you a bill after. When I spoke to a representative about not authorizing a renewal, she said they sometimes treat the yard without notifying the customer. They know if you arent paying close attention then can keep charging you.

I like the service but the person who came out did not know anything about grass.

Incompetent. These people would say they came to my property and completed service and no one showed up. I have a restricted access gate community and I have the records or lack of records demonstrating they did not show up. I also called them three separate times to come look at my sprinkler system and nobody ever showed up for that either so I hired someone else to fix my sprinklers. I also called them for follow-up treatments because the insect control was not effective and it was supposed to be for all insects not just mosquitoes (and they didnt respond). They dont return calls and the local number goes right to the call center and their communication and service is terrible. So I fired them and hired someone else. I would strongly recommend not using them because they charge the top rates but have the worst service. Hire somebody else and hire somebody local because theres too much competition to put up with the nonsense and bad service.

TruGreen did a great job with my yard. To me its not when a company does good, but how they handle it when there are issues. I can say TruGreen really stuck by their word and got me in order. They have a great Team and James was the best. I would definitely recommend TruGreen.

Always professional and timely. Lawn is healthy and looks great. I love the ease of notification and scheduling or rescheduling appointments and services. Would and have highly recommend.

I prepaid for their service expecting professional results. After 7 treatments I can honestly say I get better results doing it myself. I still have weeds and half the time they don’t show up. I have video cameras outside and one time the tech just put down steaks saying it was done. Save money and results doing it yourself. Customer service is a joke also. They tried to get me to buy more services even after I told them the current service was unacceptable.

Our lawn has never looked better since TruGreen has been treating it. The lawn looks so much better than when we first moved into our home. By having TruGreen I can honestly say we made the best decision to treat our lawn. We also had our bushes treated this year and they look great. That was a great decision after speaking to one of the representatives from the company. Everyone I spoke to was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I feel the cost reflected on the way our lawn looks which is great. Overall I would highly recommend TruGreen.

I been a TruGreen customer for more than 10 years in Oklahoma having the most wonderful experience how my Lawn look, We recently moved to Texas purchasing a new house, weed was real bad and had to call TruGreen to take care of it, they start the treatment last week and lawn started to look better.I truly recomend TruGreen I have try other companys or my own (spending more money and time) to compare but nothing better than TruGreen. 🤜There the best🤛

When into their monthly payments after the first so called free application I was not impressed so I cancel the service called the branch and the 1800 both confirmed the service was cancelled. then, wow 150 dollar charged to my account I have to call the bank to report the scheme and I still waiting for this dishonest people at the Grand Prairie location to call me back to get my money, stay away of this people they schemers.Updated: not thank I already have the pleasure to being yelled by your manager over the phone, and told me that I can go and take my business somewhere else, so don’t write a nice reply to make sound like you really care about customer, by the way you should publish the over 1k complains that you guys have at the BBB.

The TruGreen technicians are punctual and professional. They are very helpful with tips and knowledge for keeping my lawn healthy.

My experience with true green is one of excellence If their is a problem,they are quick to solve it for you as I have experienced a couple of times. Even the owner or manager has been out to the house in person which says a lot about the company. Very, very good.

Kept getting billed for service they stopped back in March got a bill for 65.00 made that payment Then was told I owed 45 then was told over the phone I owed them 112 I will never use truegreen again and what ever it was they sprayed on the yard to keep the mosquitoes away was more like a matting call had more then before disappointed in the service and the way they handled the billing

Overall the service and the results were good. We got a dog and the back yard isnt as nice any more, but not Tru Greens fault. Weeds were kept under control pretty well. Basically did a good job all together.. Lawn Review.

Same conversation different day. I don’t understand why these people can’t understand that I do not want service not authorized in advance. I signed up for a plan that charges me $56 per month, recently I was double charged $112. I called and asked why and advised I was charged for a service I did not agree to. The rep agreed to credit my card which never done. Why this so important? Because I am retired on a fixed income the yard is a sacrifice as it is, but arbitrarily add cost where now need choose between food, medication or my yard is not a decision that Trugreen should be making. So I guess again I need cancel after this season. This will make the third time canceling over the years.

I have used TruGreen for 14 years and am very happy with their service and the customer service I receive.

Paid up front and they continuously lie about what services they are performing. They create invoices saying they came and knocked on my door and treated my lawn and they never came at all. Never use this fraud company that lies about the work they are doing and charging you for. I have really good cameras and thats the only way I caught them. My yard continues to grow weeds as they lie and steal from me. Do it yourself or use a smaller company you can trust this place is horrible on customer service.

Trugreen is a ripoff! I had Isaac M come out a couple of days ago to spray for some weed . He told me my lawn didnt need anything and he wasnt going to do something because my lawn looked great! Then i watched while he sprayed for some weeds in my flower beds and then he was gone! He never told me he was going to do anything extra and now i am recieving a bill for DOUBLE my agreed upon pricing! Now I have to WAIT 2 days to have a manager call me! Im extremely disappointed and will be cancelling my services!

Well, looking at my camera, I asked before they doing do some parts of the area. Once again didnt do as I asked . The mosquito medication dont work it didnt work the first try.

Truegreen seems to be a reputable company. They are very helpful and try to please. I had a lawn application after they left it poured down rain. Concerned about run off I called truegreen and they told me they would send someone out to reapply. I thought they would say the rain wasnt a problem. They are scheduled to come back 3-21-19. The service gentleman wasvery nice and very helpful. He answered all my questions. So I will see what happens to my lawn, Right now I have a lot of faith in these people. I would highly recommend Trugreen. Thanks Trugreen!
