I like this facility, they have a nice second floor cardio area and 1/10th mile track that overlooks the first floor. I do wish there were more free weights or at least the squat/press machines that utilize free weights, I understand the liability aspect of using nearly fool proof machines rather than higher risk free weights. The black card membership is worth the money for the massage chairs and hydro beds alone, there are also tanning options (if you are into that).

It means a lot that they were open today.I did my warm up, 110 floors for 9/11, showered, and got out with no issues.It was clean, everything was stocked, and the staff were very polite and professional.

Love that’s has a lot space and a lot equipment to train. It has pretty much everything what you need to work out.

This location has really dropped the ball. There are several machines not working for 3 months now and the tech has been in to look at them but did nothing. One leg machine just needs a selector pin which the tech should carry several on his truck. Even when its slow you cant get on popular machines due to so many being down. Great job guys ! ! !

Im here almost every morning, I love it. The morning staff is super kind and attentive. My phone loses signal sometimes, but the wifi always comes in clutch. Theres also someone always cleaning, and I like how you can sign in with out any direct contact! Definitely makes you feel comfortable.

They dont notify you about renewing contract after your old contract expires. How are you allowed to renew a contract with no signature?They dont email, call, or even tell you on the website theyre going to save your bank account info to charge you. When you want to take it off it wont allow you.Never stepped foot in the the gym or had a check in card, pandemic hit so never went but they sure did take that 21 every month and annual fee. Also when you want to cancel they want you to pay off your contract. I placed a stop payment on planet fitness, and they found a loophole to keep charging me. It wasnt till I went in person and they told me I had to pay off the rest of the contract to get out of a contract I didnt even sign on.Scammers at their best. All they want is your money.

Good service and a ton of muscle training to do and plus they have a place for your kids and they have hydromassage and red light therapy

Great facility with amazing and attentive staff. This site is very well kept and customer service is definitely top notch. This is by far one of the best Planet Fitness locations.

I like that it’s big, so there’s not a lot of people in the way, usually. Bathrooms are always clean, and there’s always cleaning sprays for the equipment. Staff is very friendly, just a positive vibe from this place.

Went to tan and there tanning bed never turned on, called number listed could not get through to anyone, wrapped up yelled out door need them to turn on bed then they tell me they can’t because 12 minutes have passed if I had told them before it was up they could have fixed it. Like it’s not my fault your machine did not work I just wanted to relax and tan and look nice for my birthday. But no my money wasted and it’s my fault the machine did not work and I did not tell them soon enough. Seriously waste of my time

I found this gym when my regular Gym closed down for the pandemic. Everyone wore masks and equipment was to be cleansed (before and after use with gym provided disinfectant) and distancing was enforced. They did nothing about people who came in an took their mask off, so even in the middle of a worout, I left if the person was too close to me or I felt uncomfortable. A bummer. Initially training sessions were one on one. I was not given an orientation to all equipment until I happened to be at the desk when it was offered to someone else. Nor were available standard classes explained. The place is spotlessly cleaned and someone is there cleaning all the time.Now it is policy to have the mask off when you are working out. I am not a fan. I keep my mask on and avoid people who do not wear one. In fact I usually wear 2 3-ply masks or one n-95 mask.They are open 24-7. I have not gone at off hours due to safety concerns.I try to go during lunch time or other hours when they are not crowded. They also have a personal trainer that is included in the membership if you can get an appointment with him.

The staff was amazing and it was clean and i really enjoyed my workout.

In lieu of the COVID efforts, the staff and PF became experts on the type of mask you wore in the door and while grazing and not working out. I had a hard shell plastic mask that my college of chiropractic and clinic approved, but the PF check-in gatekeeper just couldnt let it pass. Now that masks are not the cure all Fauci said they were, I am even happier I severed my business from this sham of a company. The facility is decent. The double standard judgement from corporate and employees is just not worth the squeeze.

Now, they are just another shady fitness facility. If you make a change to your membership plan, they add a year CONTRACT without telling you. I used to support them as a neighborhood business. No more.

It was my first workout in about a year and planet fitness did so much in that time to social distance all of the equipment and I felt so comfortable going back. Keep up the good work.

The Grand Prairie Planet Fitness is one of the few locations that has an indoor track and that is a big plus in this Texas heat!

Due to my work schedule, I use 3 different locations during the week. The front desk is always warm and friendly which is bonus for a business. The locker area is always cleaned and organized. Today, I had a support member asking me to keep my mask on. I believe her name was Marisol. I had my water bottle in my hand with the top off. I appreciate her concern but please offer understanding when a customer is having a drink. It is not optional to drink thru a mask. Overall, the team is doing a great on following CDC guidelines.

All machines are functioning always. 6 ft. Distance accommodation during this pandemic. Very nice employees. Always clean and tidy. Private vibe, 2 story with a track @ 2nd floor. Nothing but nice things to say about this location. Next to lifetime fitness, this is my second choice because of the way this one location is set up. Highly recommend.

Love working out here. Clean and friendly environment. Customer service is amazing no matter who is working. Typically I get to the machines and exercises I want without too much of a delay. So glad I got the black card membership. Sooooo worth it! Yep!

Clar is the best she makes you feel special and welcome I have had to go every day this week and every time she is there I feel better even though my back pain and I am a little embarrassed because I have to walk with a cane but getting better with the water bed I like going when clar is there

The staff is beyond the best

The staff keeps the facility clean and disinfected constantly. The air is circulated properly, facemask protection rules are enforced, machines are spaced out accordingly and hand sanitizer is everywhere for members to use at anytime. I visit PF 5 days a week with no problems. I feel completely safe as most of us there sweating out toxins and are immune systems are boosted during workouts. Fitness helps combat viruses and strengthens our immune system.

I joined PF end of October, but really didn’t completely commit into full workouts till end of January.This place is the cleanest gym I’ve ever encountered! The entire front desk staff are truly welcoming/friendly, and the cleaning staff always on top of cleaning and sterilization.I appreciate that they have loads of equipment and a walk/jog track on the upper level for inclement weather. The Hydro massage chairs & Hydro beds are the best after a long hard workout!MT is their one and only Personal Trainer, and he is AMAZING!! MT is always ready and motivated to get me working hard. MT is friendly, encouraging, always a smile on his face, and always excited to see his clients.If it weren’t for my personal, and at times group sessions with MT, I wouldn’t have the drive to workout practically everyday. I recently joined on the 2 week of April 2020, 2 days before they actually closed due to the pandemic. I didn’t like the fact that I was already being charged an annual fee of $ 42.00 and I hadn’t even been there for more than 3 weeks and 2 days. Planet Fitness is stating that this is on the contract which might be correct but please charge members appropriately. let me finish my full 2 months and then you can charge me the annual fee. I’m assuming planet fitness has lost an ample amount of money being fully closed during the pandemic but I did not join this gym for 3 weeks and 2 days to pay an annual fee not to mention being charged my monthly premium as well. Someone in the billing department needs to deeply rethink their calculation strategies, your gonna have a lot of unhappy People cancelling their gym memberships because of this.

I love the price, how clean the space is and how spacious and clean the bathrooms are. Also, the staff is friendly.

I hate that the weights dont go higher, but its a great place to workout day or night. Its a lot easier to find a workout bench and they have great party workout massages.

My sister and I went to this location for years; however, when we need to cancel during the pandemic, we were unable to cancel (clearly it is not safe to go to the gym during this time) .. called many times but automated circles around and no on calls back.. sent a message through the app where a “manager” copies and pastes standard wording with dates advising when should cancel/start to avoid fees.. planet fitness can clearly look in computer and see neither of us have been since the pandemic but were consistent 3-5 days a weeks prior to this. Just awful and will not be recommending to any friends or family as I find this super ridiculous to charge customers knowing they cannot safely use to service. Two loyal customers gone!

I have personally heard a employee tell people to please where a mask because that’s the rules. They just look at them or make a face. I have said something to the front desk and was told they tell and they do what they want. I think it is time for management to step in . Make them leave if don’t go rules. I see people not cleaning after themselves. I joined this gym because I saw where they were doing cleaning and had sanitizing stations everywhere. But now I see this going believe me this gym is going to close again. Pleas management do your job.

I love love this gym!! I been going here for about two months. I started their classes I meet with their trainer MT . I have lost 15 pounds and he is not like most trainers he started me out light and we have built up. I have made so much progress thanks to this gyms help. Their classes are free with the black card so I’m not breaking the bank to accomplish that.

Great gym! Great staff! Especially from Noah! Gave me a tour of the gym before me becoming a member, was great in showing me how to use the equipment and giving me details in everything that I needed to know about the plans they have. Overall Noah did an awesome job!

I didnt think it would be safe to go to a gym during the pandemic but Planet Fitness does a great job keeping everyone socially distance, keeping the gym clean and not overly crowded.

Im giving this place one star for one reason, IT IS NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR MOMS TO WORKOUT. I am a mom that just started my fitness journey with planet fitness, my kid is on spring break and kids are not allowed here, so for that reason I cant make it to my workouts. Everything else is great, the place is clean, the staff is ok (just need to look more welcoming, smile, etc.)

The Grand Prairie Planet Fitness is a pretty good gym with a friendly staff, clean equipment, and a low population of members during the morning. I recommend the trainer M.T. to meet your weight loss goals or body transformation needs. Lastly, I cannot speak about customer service, massage tables, and tanning beds, because I do not need those services.

I come throughout the night until 3 am. When noah is working there isnt a problem. Shes the only person I see cleaning every 30 mins and making sure we have all our needs taken care of without an attitude. I love when Noah is working she makes it feel so comfortable and that keeps me coming back.

This was the first gym I ever subscribed to. I was surprised at how cheap it was. I was told that all Planet Fitnesss were beginner gyms and that eventually I would get tired of it. I didnt find that to be the case at all. The atmosphere is comfortable, the prices are affordable and the amenities are quite nice if you upgrade to the highest option.My fiancee and I upgraded to the $20/month option. We both went together every time and I added her as a guest. So we basically only paid $10/month each. The service is pretty nice and friendly. I like this location in particular because they have an indoor track. Sure this gym doesnt have the fancy rock wall or the nice swimming pool but you get what you pay for right? Decent all around.

I had higher expectation for a gym that highlights a judgement free zone. Customer service is not their strong suit. Always felt uncomfortable and talked down on when I had a question. On a contrary, cleanliness was something they thrived in.

Still a member...Use their Body Enhancement machine a lot. LOVE IT !

These showers are killing me. 5 showers, barely half of them have water, half of the half has room temperature hot water 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄Not the ideal situation when I go to the gym at 4 or 5 in the morning. Luckily I live close by that I just get the hell out of there and shower at home

Good gym thats not too busy and very very clean. I used to go to fitness connection in Irving and this gym is so much cleaner. I actually saw the staff wiping down all the equipment this morning something that in over two years of membership at Fitness Connection I never saw staff do. Im glad I switched.

Great location!

Called the gym directly to cancel my subscription with them since i moved 8+ hours away, i was repeatedly told only way i can do it is going in person to cancel at that specific gym. I sent multiple emails trying to find out if there was another way, no response from them. Called up again 4 months later and was told i can send a written letter to have it canceled, well why wasnt I informed of that the 1st time i called? Ive never had to deal with a company that is like this, its pathetic and should at least have to option to go to another gym and have it cancelled.

I went a couple of times for the Summer Teen Challenge. It was fun, comfortable, and clean. Personally I would go before 8:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m is a great time since traffic dies down.

Was treated very disrespectful by the manager at that. I was told I couldnt set up a membership, and even after doing so online I was told my money would be refunded and my membership denied. After that I asked for the District manager and was given the card of the same man that refused me service for reasons I still have no clue why.So thanks for nothing Alejandro Garranza

A modern well designed facility with machines, weights, & TV without the hustle and bustle of multiple classes along with a friendly staff. Massage chairs, a hydro massage bed, and tanning chambers. A perfect place for the focused self-motivated exerciser...

I love going to Planet Fitness in Grand Prairie. Employees are friendly and always greeting you when you go in and out of the gym. It is also very clean, I always see employees cleaning restrooms everyday and they are always sweeping around the equipment and wiping them down all the time as well.
