Truly A (5) STAR Facility,...In And Outside. With A Massive Layout That Will Leave You Speechless And In AWE From The Moment You Enter, Yet Has The Small Neighborhood Gym Feel Because of All The Friendly Members. I generally like to go early in the mornings when the facility opens, its nice and quite at that time. I get my workout in and leave feeling like Ive accomplished something magnificent. Young or A Bit More Mature, Regardless of Gender, This Facility Is Second To None And A Must JOIN For Everyone Looking To Get In Shape, Stay In Shape, Do A Little Swimming or Whatever, The Name Speaks For Itself, EPIC!

It’s a great gym with some of the best equipment out there, but it’s hard to concentrate or really focus on yourself when the person next to you is sneezing and coughing, and no one is wearing a mask or Social Distancing like The Pandemic is already a thing of the past. It would be nice if you guys actually asked for vaccine cards to make sure those who got the shot are safe.

At $11/month this is the best thing about living in Grand Prairie! Best gym ever! It can get busy but i know my way around it. As for the pool.... i know its a public pool and all but some people’s pool etiquette??? Jeeesh!! ie i saw a guy right after working out, go straight in the hot tub. At least he took his shoes off lol! Maybe put a big sign up cause clearly the small letters are useless.

If you’re trying to go in for a quick workout and have a tight schedule you might not want to chance going here. Nice facility, first visit was great I got in smoothly took about 3 minutes. Second time I stood in like for about 20 minutes. They need a better front desk staff and a simpler checkin process that doesn’t require you to stand in a line if there is one when you arrive. The front desk staff is handling too many things at once. Also kind of rude.

This is a bogus company ok. I got a neck massager for 6.70 and that was the shipping cost. Then I was charged 49.99 for what I dont know. This item is going back. But they already took my money from my account with out my permission. Stealing my money from my account. Dont do business with them. This is the reason I dont order anything from the offers that they sent you. This is a thiefs end up with no more money for your food.

A very good place to workout and best equipments too. I dont like when people look at you wired because you coughed lol, cmon yall when you are in a high intensity workout normally this is what happens, it doesnt mean you intentionally cough. Folks need to be claiming down not that serious in my opinion. The black lady that cleans the ladies restroom, is very rude and I mean very rude. She needs to mindful of her choice of words. I should have reported her, but I let it pass.

The staff is wonderful... the levels and lengths they are going through to keep everyone healthy and safe during this pandemic is highly commendable. When covid started I thought I would never go to the gym again, but I go regularly and feel very safe. I highly highly recommend epic.

They also have a little play area for children that are bigger. They have a swimming pool, a nice little workout area, and two levels upstairs for walking or running. Facility is well thought out and impressive. Would have liked the VIP parking to take advantage of the space better to provide closer parking considering that you pay extra. The pingpong table is unusually high quality but the raised epic logo, while stylish, ruins the flatness of the table. Still, a beautiful place for exercise and other activities. An affordable gift for the residents of Grand Prairie. I use it daily.

There is also an indoor track and adventure track. Toddlers, kids and teens will have their own recreation areas while parents work out. The kids area is free for the first two hours. Epic is a beautiful place. They have various gym equipment to use and you can even workout outside on the nice landscape. There is good amount of cardio machines. They have rooms for yoga, cycling and step class. There is also a basketball court. Its worth going to check out, walk around for a tour to see if you like it.However, there are things that I do not like about it. I would only recommend this gym if you have a family. Parents can bring their kids and have them wait in the play rooms or even go swimming. I believe a child who is 10+ can be left unattended (there are life guards in pool area) while the parents are working out. You can rent out the pool area (for a price) for birthday parties too so thats a nice option.Being an adult with no kids, I dont really enjoy working out here. There are SO many kids and teenagers around. I worked out at Planet Fitness before I joined this gym, and I have to say that PF is a lot more calming. Though there are a few things I dont like about that gym either, I just feel like Epic is a bit too crazy/hectic for me. So much going on, so many people everywhere. At PF, there are no kids since there is no babysitting service or playrooms, which I prefer. If I had a family, I would definitely bring my kids here though. If you care about your skin and know that the sun causes you to age faster, you may want to pack sunscreen in your gym bag. Yes, even though windows, the sun causes you to age! I would prefer the area where squat racks are have mirrors instead of windows.. so you can see if your form is good! There is not much mirror space downstairs! I asked the front desk workers if we could bring barbells/dumbbells up to the rooms to workout and he said yes, it is allowed when there are no classes going on. But it would be a hassle to carry equipment up and down the stairs. I dont think there are dumbbells in the rooms.. I wish there was so that I could workout in there instead! There are mirrors in the room.Another thing is that, they dont have a sauna or a steam room! They have both of these at 24 hour fitness and LA fitness if you see these as a necessity. I wish Epic had them. You have to pay extra for GroupFit classes, where as other gyms like 24 or LA, the classes are already included in the monthly price! Epic is pretty expensive! For such a big place, the gym floor really isnt that big. Its actually SMALL! So it gets super crowded. Around 5pm to 8pm there are lots of families. Overall, a nice place for families if you dont mind the crowds. But if youre a single person who is not taking kids to the gym, Id choose a diff gym!

I like to workout at 6:00am everyday but my routine is thrown off on Saturday and Sundays because they open so much later (11am 😳). They also close really early daily. The staff is super welcoming!Other than that this is a beautiful place. hope that they become 24 hours or if not have consistent hours.

Beautifully designed and equipped. There is something for the entire family to do & the staff is super friendly. The addition of sunscreens would be nice to hide the sun while using the cardio machines. The kids play area is amazing. Its seems a bit small in size but it is interestingly designed. I do feel the membership fees are overpriced. I was shocked to learn I had to pay for a family membership for myself and my son and then pay an additional fee for him to attend the child care center. At the Ymca it was all inclusive. The facility is well lit outside so I feel safe walking to my car in the evening.

I was hoping for a better experience . Everything is new, but whoever designed this place with so many windows and no sun screens was not someone who works out and does cardio . It is 55 degrees outside, the air is on 71 inside and it is like a greenhouse effect . BTW, all the cardio machines are facing the huge windows . I think I I made a mistake joining . .Classes are extra and so far I have not seen too many people enrolled, so nocamaraderie . Not sure what the summer will be like. . The most frustrating thing for me is the fact that the babysitting hours are only Monday through Thursday and only during the day on Friday, with as many people who have kids, and as much as they charged for a membership, where should be childcare available Monday, through Sunday, during the day and at night, just like there is Monday through Thursday. Wish the work out area was a little bigger also when its crowded hard to use the machine you want/need to. Other than that its pretty nice.

If I can give zero star, I would. It is unacceptable that the EPIC rented out their only futsal court to a local soccer team to practice during the time slot which supposed to be the weekly open play (Wednesday night 7:30pm-9:45pm) for all members. Here I am with my two kids and several other kids just sit there without a clue until I asked the coach and he told us that he rented the court. I went to complain to the front desk and all they can tell me that the athletic director rented the court out and tell me to fill a suggestion form. There were no notes or prior notices to us. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate to members who went there for the open play. I guess they value money more than members. The facility is nice, but seems like customer service take a back seat to $$$.PS: Got email & phone calls from the athletic director apologized for the situation and promised that EPIC has changed the rent-out policy. Updated to 3 stars for the customer service efforts.

My son finally gets to enjoy his swimming class without the water being to cold.I also tried out CrossFit at the epic (been doing crossfit since 2014) but wasn’t impressed.I felt like it was more of a foundation class than anything. Everything was slow pace and I’m used to it being quick time, amap with loud music.
