The car was very dirty and they were short staff I had to wash and clean the car. I dont ot didnt like the fact that I paid almost 6 hundreds dollars for a dirty car and no one seems to care I thought I was a valuable customer to Avis. The car smell like smoke plus it had dog up some kind of pet hair inside of it and plus I would have thought that Avis is cleaning their cars better than that. Me and my wife had to clean the car our self and still pay the full price

The costumer service was poor the guy rented a car with a dent on the windshield and did not indicate on the paper work that there was a dent on the windshield, I only found out when I have driven the car out of the parking lot,i had to call the costumer service to report my findings, when I went back to return the car the guy who toke back the keys wanted tried to say I was the one who caused the dent on the windshield, apart from that I enjoy their cars always clean and ready to go,the process is fast too but they should work on the costumer service, make sure you know if the car has dent before renting them out instead of trying to pin an incident on a faithful costumer

Horrible serviceSomebody recommended this place to me. I drove 18 minutes to this Avis and could have went down the street to the one in Hurst. Anyway when I picked up the car the inside was a little nasty but I still took it because I didnt want the minivan. As I started driving the check engine light came on. I still continued on my trip because I had to be there by a certain time. Last just fast forward to the day I was bringing the car back. As I go in to return the car the guy yells you are late and charges we a 100 dollars for another day. I said so I will be keeping the car and he said no I have to return it. This Avis is a rip off and I will be contacting corporate! I want be doing business with him again.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY RENTAL, THE VAN WAS SO DIRTY & SMELLED HORRIBLE, CLEARLY THE VAN WAS NOT CLEANED BC THERE WERE 2 USED MASKS IN THE VERY BACK SEAT & CRUMPS AS WELL. I WILL NOT BE RENTING THROUGH THIS COMPANY AGAIN & ESPECIALLY THE LOCATION I RENTED IT FROM!!!!

Worst experience ever!!!!! Be aware they will cheat you out of youre original reservation and try to put you in a different car, as well charge you 15 different fees and Not return your deposit!!!!! I reserved a car on line at the Arlington Abram location and when I caught an Uber over to pick it up I was told they did not have any. The young lady at the counter then said it was her bosss fault for not updating the information in the system. She then proceeded to want to argue about the policy and said if I had prepaid it would have been there. When I asked about how to get back home, the car cleaning guy volunteered to take me. I dropped my sunglasses in the car and they would not return them. This was not my example of even mediocre customer service.

Staff was lacking in customer service and outright rude. Staff were way too casual and familiar. I was lectured on not wearing a mask, but yet was not offered one or any hand sanitizer. The care was filthy when I arrived. I chose another option and that vehicle also was not poorly cleaned in the interior or exterior, nor sanitized. The car was filthy. I had to clean it myself. The check oil light was at the time I received the car, and was an annoyance throughout the rental. furthermore, there was no washer fluid in the car, which poised a safety hazard during the evenings. Then to add insult to injury, the Avis representative called me after I return the vehicle to complain that I returned it dirty and threatened to charge me. Unbelievable. Unacceptable. I will never rent from AVIS again.

The vehicle I reserved, had a nail in the tire & low washer level. I returned the car to Avis, they did not have another car to exchange. I had to go to our local international airport & exchange the vehicle for a lesser option car.

This is the worst place to rent a car. They capitalize on their location to reap people off. I rented a car at this place @ $57.00 but when i returned the car i noticed that the daily bill changed. I saw many HIDDEN charges that were not mentioned when i picked up the car and i decided to call their complaint number but the answer was that they cannot do anything about it. Im used to Enterprise and never had such experience with them. Please my advice is DO NOT RENT AT THIS PLACE.

I met and was assisted by Don at this location. Their sign says it all Great Prices Great Service. He was one of the most cordial agents Ive ever met and accommodated us with a vehicle that was just perfect. He made it soooo easy! The process was quick and professional. I will say this I had called around to various car rentals and this one by FAR was the number 1. I will always check with this location first when renting a vehicle. It was indeed a pleasure!

My job gave me an avid gift card for 225 so I got a car from them a called prior asked what I needed to bring and everything, they said my DL, gift card, and a cc to put on file I asked how much was they hold they said none you pay at the end of service when I showed up he needed to hold the entire amount so I chose a different card and I told him I want to pay with my debit not credit card he said he’d do it when I turn it in. I told the guy upfront I had a gift card he said that wouldn’t work with his system till the end who I’m their right mind get a rental for $700+ and doesn’t say they have a $225 gift card !!!!!!!! When I came in to pay he was helping someone else and handed me a receipt charging my cc card and not even going over anything with me I was like hold on I have a gift card and I didn’t want my cc charged. It’s for emergencies only ! he said oh you had to tell me from the beginning about a gift card I DID !!!!!!!!!! His excuse was you said gift card this is a gift certificate and it says present at time of purchase ! I called ahead and spoke to customer service and I told him in person !!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they record calls because I’m reporting everything to the better business bureau and through the perks program through my job at Bank of America.

Most ridiculous people here, rude and obnoxious. No mannerisms at all, threatening demeanors in tone of voice and standoffish. Worst place to do any kind of business. Got quoted a specified price and later found to be $1000 higher than what was priced from the get go.

Go to pick up reserved SUV. Its filthy, not ready and the guy tells me I can wash it. They did not reimburse me for the wash after I did. Not a single, sorry or hey well pick up another car for you- nothing. Tried to discuss with the owner but he didnt have the nerve to call me back. I will not go back to this Avis.

Today was the worst experience Ive ever had dealing with a rental car company. Usually I go through Enterprise for all my car rental needs, but this time I went through Avis because they had a cheaper rate for the days I needed the vehicle(worst mistake ever). First off, when I got there and the front desk receptionist/manager showed me the car it had many minor dings around the perimeter of the vehicle( which I didnt make a big deal about because I assumed it was maybe from rocks or rubble popping up while driving). However, seeing that did raise my antennas to this might not have been a good idea to book a rental through them. Next, he hands me the keys and I look inside the vehicle as he walks away(as if the transaction was complete). I shake it off paying him no mind I figured he was in a rush since he seemed to be the only one working there that day. Once me and my wife further inspected the inside of the car it was filthy. It looked as if someone had spattered dirt and coffee all over the front and back seats and even the ceiling(the car also recked of cigarette smoke). My wife wanted me to cancel our rental then, but we were suppose to be leaving for our anniversary trip soon so I didnt want to go through the hassle of having to book another rental last minute. So, I politely walked back inside and asked the front desk receptionist/manager did he notice the inside of the car was dirty because I didnt want that to count against us when we returned the vehicle that Saturday. He said yes he noticed and it was fine(another bad sign seemed like it was the regular there smh). After that we left with the vehicle. I went so far as to even take the vehicle to the car wash to have it washed and vacuumed because I couldnt stand to look at the dirty stains all over the interior. I even purchased a little new car scent air freshener tree to kill that terrible cigarette odor that was in the car(I was even nice enough to leave it hanging on the rearview mirror after I returned the car). Now I know my experience seems like it couldnt get any worse, but it did. Once I returned the car this morning(6/24/17) at 10am to the same guy who checked it out to me. He went out and checked the vehicle came back in and said everything was good, gave me my receipt, told me thank you, and I was on my way. After being home for about an hour, I get a call from the same guy stating that they were taking the car for a wash and noticed the car had damage and I would be held responsible for it. I immediately told him no damage was do to the vehicle while in my custody. He said, yes you did damage it there is fresh paint on the car now. I told him Id be on my way to look at it, but Im sure there was no damage done to the vehicle while I had it and he had already checked the vehicle himself while I was there and said everything was good. Once I got there I immediately noticed the driver side door of the rental car I had just turned in had red paint scuffs on it. I surveyed the area and it was as clear as day that whoever had pulled the car around to give it a supposed wash had brushed it against the red pole perimeter gate and didnt want to take responsibility so they blamed their accident on the previous renter(me). I noticed there was a guy there driving the cars in a garage area to wash them I assumed. Once he realized why I was there you could immediately see the change in his body language. He looked really nervous and sly at the same time. I talked to the manager guy he said things like this always happen. My issue is why should I be held responsible for something that was clearly not done by me. I wish I had taken pictures of the filthy interior before I had it cleaned and I wish I had a picture of how I turned the car in(which was in a better state than when I received it). It sucks to pay your money to people who care such little for their customers and they to get over on you by pinning the blame on you for something theyre responsible for. This has been my first and last time doing any kind of business with Avis.
