This was my first time going to this salon. It was busy when I arrived, but I was proptly greeted and asked if Id like a beverage. I worked with Allison and she did an amazing job with my hair. Their products smell so good and made my hair look super healthy. I really appreciated the level of service this salon provides and will 100% be coming back to see Allison.

This is the best salon in town PERIOD. Several others will claim they are good, but they are subpar. Believe me, I know... I’ve tried a lot of them. I even gave my last stylist at another salon the benefit of the doubt, but after four bad haircuts and bad colors, I felt it was time to move on. I decided to try Urban Girls. Jenny did a fantastic job! She not only listened to what my needs were, but she found a way to give me the exact cut I wanted without cutting too much off. Amazing! From now on this is the only place in town that I will go to. Don’t be fooled by other salons in the same price range... you’re not getting what you’re paying for at those salons (I’ve noticed that stylists who were trained in this valley aren’t anywhere near as good as stylists trained in big cities). You’ll get what you pay for at Urban Girls. This is a Denver or Salt Lake style salon right where we live... no need to travel! You’ll thank me!

I’ve been coming here for years and I love this salon. While all of the girls are well trained and capable, Theasia is my favorite. She is great at understanding what I want and bringing my vision for my hair to life. I’ve been going through a dramatic color change with her over the last 6 months and she has kept my hair healthy and beautiful while we took my color from a deep violet brunette to strawberry blonde. 10/10! There have been the rare experiences with other staff that didn’t go the way I had hoped, but management is exceptional at making things right and I will be a loyal customer here for life.

Horrible, pathetic, customer service I have ever seen. In this salon, customer service is used loosely, having no compassion and empathy for someone. It is an unprofessional environment where employees feel comfortable cussing and shrieking at customers via phone. Dont recommend.

I made an appointment for my mother for a morning time. We live an hour away and so we unfortunately got there about 10 minutes late and the lady up front was rude and refused to sit my mother down. Not to mention, openly negatively talk about her with other co-workers in front of her. I have been there countless of times before and have been late and they still have sat me down. I called Becky just to get an explanation about the late policy and she went off on a tangent completely ignoring that I am customer. It’s a true shame. The stylists are great but Becky up front is completely unprofessional and doesn’t know what it means to have customer service. What a waste of time and I am no longer returning there for how badly they treated my mother.

They listen to the ideas I have for a cut or color that I am interested in and they let me know if it will work, or if we can modify it and I end up with something even better every time. I was so excited to get my hair cut at a salon as I’ve been shyly attempting to do myself for past year in “quarantine”. All I can say is I do can do better than Thesia. Horrible cut!! Did exactly what I asked her not to do. Unfortunately you can’t add hair back to fix. Only good thing is it is even/Front/back/right/left. Talked nonstop during what is normal a zen massage at Aveda salons. And used products that left my hair super greasy. Will not be going back.

Danielle did my hair. I asked for caramel highlights and she dyed my hair black. She left me in the chair for an hour with the dye and went and got lunch. I was charged an outstanding 175$ for her to ruin my hair. My wedding is in 3 weeks.If youre wondering how this happened, so am I. Im heartbroken and just wish I never went to her.

The assistant was so sweet and warm. Great hand massage! The gal who colored my hair did a fantastic job. She styled my hair beautifully! She was a tad distant but that was fine - I care more about a stylist who does a great job and she was excellent. I would definitely recommend this salon!

Great place. I finally found my hairstylist, Dani. I’ve been looking for a good stylist since we moved her in 9/16. Dani was very patient trying to fix the mess that was my hair explaining what and why she was doing things. Yes, my hair was a mess. I will definitely keep going the Urban Girls Salon.

Yet again this salon contacted me an hour before my appointment to cancel my color. This is the third time that this has happened in the past year. I have a wedding this week but they had no concern about that and could not reschedule me in time for that wedding. This salon has really gone down hill!! Beware when booking appointments in advance for your special events with this salon because they have no problem just contacting you around an hour before your appointment and canceling. In fact this seems to have become quite acceptable for the owners of this salon.

URBAN??? They obviously have zero idea of what actual real URBAN styles are. Any client who leaves this salon believing theyve gotten an URBAN style is also clueless as to what real URBAN styling is.... using the term URBAN in relation to anything coming out of this salon it tantamount to STOLEN VALOR! It simply isnt truthful, isnt real, isnt URBAN, its a marketing scheme to attract naive patrons.

I lived in Grand Junction and totally depended on the hair stylists who work at Urban Girls Salon. Then I moved out of state. I am in a big city now and have tried various salons. Strangely, It never quite worked. Not really bad, but not the personal care nor the excellent results I was use to at Urban Girls.Believe it or not, I now drive about 250 miles to have my hair done at Urban Girls Salon.That is how good they are.

Urban Girls is a friendly salon, you are offered a drink when you first enter the door. My stylist is Amy and she has always listened to the kind of cut I want and I have never been disappointed or cancelled. Some times when I am at a loss as to what to do, she give very helpful suggestions. They run on time which is a biggie. The salon is cute and very clean and they carry a full line of Aveda products.I have had facials and nails done here as well and both were wonderful!I have recommended Urban Girls to two friends who have been going for a long time as well.Julie Boyce

From the moment I called and made an appointment, to the moment I left, my experience was outstanding. I am so happy I chose Urban Girls!I had an absolute hair emergency. Unfortunately, I went to another salon before Urban Girls and my hair was essentially trashed. It was black with brassy-blonde highlights. Not great for my fair complexion...or anyone elses to be honest. My boyfriend (sort-of jokingly) said I looked like a backwoods stripper who was wearing a wig!!!!!!
