It was my first time at Posh Salon. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean. Kayla was very helpful and walked me through her process. She answered all my questions and offered advice on how to keep my hair moisturized in this dry environment. She took off the damaged hair and I definitely left feeling better about my hair. I will come back to see Kayla. I purchased some products and they gave me candy with my purchase!! I was very happy about the chocolate.

Wonderful experience, everyone was very professional and outgoing. I had Jessica and Erica do my hair and I loved know knowledgeable they were. They definitely helped me from a bad high light job (that I got done in a different state) to a blended highlighted classy look. I super recommend them both! But jessica was the one who did most of the job, I’m super happy with her and my hair! I’ll definitely come again for another look, or even to get my nails done and shop their boutique.Not to mention they had complimentary coffee and snacks. A bonus was the beautiful interior, such a nice modern farmhouse look.

Jessica took my hair from shoulder length to a fantastic short pixie cut. She was lovely to talk to while she carefully cut my hair. The salon is fun and comfortable. Im very happy with my new short hair!

This was my first, but certainly not my last, trip to Posh Salon and Boutique. Tara colored my hair as well as gave me a cut, and she did an amazing job with it all! Awful, I arrived at 11:30am for my appointment, the lady tells me oh sorry you are late you were scheduled at 11am ... I told her thats not right I made my appointment for 11:30 because Im driving from Moab, then she realized that I was scheduled twice once at 11am qnd then at 11:30 so they went ahead and took me. Jessica my hairdresser was really nice, really sweet she asked me for a picture with what I wanted color wise, I did showed her more than one which you may think helps but no, the color I ended up with is not even close to what I wanted, she waisted my time, my hair looks horrendous I got there at 11:30am and left at 4:49pm with an awful hair ... shame the salon looked promising

Hard to find, have clothing boutique in front of store so doesnt look like a salon walking past. On time, friendly. Nice head massage with shampoo. Offered to curl/style hair at end. Great price. Sadly only mediocre haircut.

Im from golden, and was in desperate need of a haircut before a party. Im not sure of the gals name that cut my hair, but I really like it (so far ;). Margo styled it and and I hope to be able to come back and get a perm from her. She really sounded like she knows about them and I believe she understands what I want.Thanks for fitting me in today. Presley worked a miracle on my hair!! She’s incredibly talented! I had gone to two other stylist before her, trying to correct a bad color and it felt like it just kept coming out worse! Presley took the time to go over what I was really looking for and explain what techniques she was going to use to obtain my desired outcome. She ensured we were on the same page one percent of the way. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better results! She superseded all my expectations. I highly recommend getting your color done by her!

I went in and got my hair toned after i bleached it😆My hair came out great. Better than i thought.Although i had issues tword the end of service, the owner was quick to respond and resolve the issue. I was really happy and appreciated the fact they cared enough to reach back out to me to help solve the issue.Very calm and clean environmentnmemt.

I have a terrible relationship with blonde, highlights or really anything done to my hair . Any time I’ve gone to a salon I usually go home and cry after and then hate my hair for the next 6 months......BUT. TARA MADE MY HAIR LOOK AMAZING. I was nervous at the beginning of my appointment but by the end I was OBSESSED with my hair . She not only did a color correction on a really hard color, she made my hair look phenomenal after. I couldn’t stop taking pictures, it was so much better than I could’ve imagined and I got compliments on it not even an hour after being out of the salon. She was also super nice the entire appointment and worked with me for a few hours to make sure everything turned out perfect. I’ve never felt better about my hair.

I had one good experience here (hair cut) and two poor experiences here (hair color). Ive been debating whether or not to write a review for this salon because I hate writing negative reviews, especially for small, local businesses but I feel like it is important to share my experiences so that they might grow and improve. One positive is the extremely comfortable hair washing stations/head rests. I cant believe more salons dont use these head rests, they dont hurt your neck at all. Seriously, they are so nice! There are a few practices that I found strange/unusual at this salon. First, after sitting down in the chair and asking me what I wanted, my stylist went over to another stylist to discuss/ask the price for my color. Ive been going to hair salons for 20-some years and have never seen this happen before. It left me wondering what was being discussed. Did she not know what she was doing? The second odd practice is that while your hair is being styled you are turned to face away from the mirror and cannot see your hair until it is done. I found this annoying because I wanted to know what my color looked liked. I could have overlooked these things if my highlights turned out okay, but unfortunately the color was poorly done. I came back to give them a chance to fix it and again I was disappointed with the blending of the color, which I had to go to another salon to get done correctly. Third, I didnt realize this until I went to write this review, but I find it incredibly strange that apparently they film you during your appointment and when someone leaves a negative review, they watch it back in order to critique you and your review. We all want to have a positive experience at the salon. Feedback can be beneficial if you hear it.

Outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy! I had went in for a trim and balayage. After I came home I realized I was not quite happy with how the blending turned out and gave them a call back. They were very timely and worked to fit me into their busy schedule and made things right! I am very happy with my hair and the girls there were so friendly and professional! It is evident that this salon takes pride in what they do and strives to make their clients happy and feeling beautiful.

After getting a not so great hair cut from a newish stylist since my normal gal was not available on my days that I was available. (She was sweet and tried her best. No ill feelings towards her at all.) I called to get it fixed after spending a day trying to talk myself into it that it was fine and then getting my butt kicked at work. Amy took me in as soon as possible and got it fixed as much as she could. And I love it! Not upset one bit. This is how people learn and hair grows back.

As a Grand Valley native, I am embarrassed that it took me so long to find Posh! This salon is truly a one-stop-shop for all your beauty needs and they are top notch in each area (and has some of the best complimentary coffee), which is a hard find for one salon. I started going to Posh earlier this year after a friend suggested I give them a try for my nails. Id tried many nail salons and get them done regularly, and Posh is by far my favorite. Erika is the nail queen and not only listens to what you want, but also makes your nails look like those seen on Pinterest. I am rough on my nails, but since I started going to Erika, I have not had the polish chip or my nails break. Plus, they still have a shine when I go in every four weeks!I then started getting my hair done at Posh and Alexus is by far the best hairdresser Ive had. She took time to educate me about my hair and suggested products that made a huge difference. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming when you come in, and I appreciate that they all take the time to get to know you and make you feel comfortable, even if youre not their client. Be prepared to shop before or after your appointment, because Posh has the cutest clothes and accessories at a great price.

Reviews are about informing people on both sides of a transaction as well as future clientele, they are not about bringing people down with scathing words but sharing knowledge. I came into Posh Salon with slightly past shoulder length, average thickness, light brown/blonde, virgin hair so I am told by my stylist that the full head of highlights I want will show up. The first problem arose when I filled out a questionnaire describing the quality of my hair, and indicating I understand the risks, at this point I had yet to sign to form. My stylist insisted I sign it, which I did seeing all that was left was stylist notes, I assumed were entirely for her. However when she returned there was now a price on the sheet, of which we had not discussed before me signing the paper. But what I did and now clearly see is that Posh filled out a paper with monetary details after it had been signed by a minor which is immoral . However once I received my quote I did not argue with it or bring up my misconceptions which I am entirely to blame for not self advocating. Throughout my visit there were a few up charges due to not understanding the type of my hair, which I understand but then again it is the responsibility of the stylist to be educated and know this beforehand. Going back to the original reason I selected this Salon was the fact that they has a new client special which was 79.99, however I failed to read the fine print that said that was the starting point which simply at the end of the day expecting one price and getting nearly double was a shock for me. The end result which cost $145 was not noticeable on my hair to the point that family and friends did not know until I told them. While you may think this was a lack of communication, at the beginning I showed three pictures that illustrated what I wanted. All in all I am disappointed with the pricing for minimal results. Overall, while I was not thrilled with my result I failed to speak up during the process and at the end which would have saved much confusion and so I recognize I am not the only party involved in the chaos.

I love coming here! The salon is super cute and clean and Ive never been disappointed with a service Ive received. Its so convenient to be able to book online, too. If youre looking for a fun and professional salon, I can definitely recommend Posh.

Wonderful in every way! Everyone here is delightful and professional. Harleigh gave me a fabulous cut and style, and the entire experience was positive: from the delicious bartique coffee drink to the relaxing shampoo and scalp massage to the hair styling. She really knows what shes doing (and probably they all do here) and is communicative and respectful of your wishes. They also gave me a welcome packet of goodies. Everything about Posh Salon says this establishment is a class act. You will not be disappointed!

Be advised: if you go to this salon, at least on a weekend, there is no available parking whatsoever. I am new to the area and didnt realize this, so when I arrived for my appointment, it took fifteen minutes to hunt down a parking spot (metered) several blocks away, pay for said spot, then walk all the way back to the salon. Then after all that, they refused to honor my appointment because I was ten minutes late. I can understand refusing service for egregious lateness, like half an hour or even twenty minutes, but ten minutes seems pretty draconian, especially since the sole reason for it was because the business doesnt provide parking. In addition, when I was inside the salon waiting at the front desk, I saw flies buzzing around, and almost NO ONE was wearing masks. Even the receptionist wasnt wearing one, which was pretty shocking to me. Im taking my business to another salon.

I had a fantastic first hair color appointment with Kacey. I got an all over color and a spot highlight. She was very professional, told me the price up front, and did exactly what I wanted (which wasn’t easy considering the damage to my hair and the fact that I wanted a bright red). The salon is clean and hip, and it’s a fun environment. The value was outstanding and the service even better.

Had gone there to get my hair done. Showed the stylist exactly what I wanted. What I got was very different from the photo. Also ended up with quite a bit of breakage right after. Had to go to another salon to fix the mess that was created. Would never use them again!!!! I expected better quality out of there for the price.

I have been a client of Erikas since she was an employee for another Salon. She is honest, hardworking, very well educated in her work and expects the same from her employees. She does all she can to train and support her staff. You will not find a better experience anywhere in town. This Salon doesnt just want to be the best, they are the best!

First timers. I treated my Teen daughter to a spa mani. I did not walk in, I know the Mesa County COVID guidelines and felt confident they were taking extra precautions per their website. Beautiful space, hip and trendy. I entered to pay for service and was shocked how many employees were NOT wearing masks. Had I known they had a lenient mask policy, we would have gone elsewhere. I also was shocked they did not have nor offered my contactless checkout. There was an issue with my check out and another employee was summoned to assist....my card was handled by more than 2 employees. I did not care for this. We look forward to returning when COVID is over.

Terrible place!! Do not get your hair cut here if you expect an experienced stylist to cut your hair! I had very long hair and wanted a short cute, layered cut and asked for an experienced stylist. I was told I would get one and it turned out she was not experienced at all and she didn’t cut my hair how I wanted it. (Even after I showed her a picture). I hate my hair and the style now and am having to go to a different stylist elsewhere to fix it. When I spoke to management their response was “we are sorry” and that I could reschedule with the SAME STYLIST to fix it! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I literally have a 1” to 1/2” of hair left to cut and fix and I am NOT taking the risk that they can fix this terrible cut. I do not trust them to cut my hair. For $48 I would expect a hair cut job better than Cost Cutters at the mall, but that is exactly what I ended up with. I wasted my beautiful long locks on an inexperienced stylist! If you’re getting a basic trim, it’s a great spot to stop. But if you’re doing any big changes to your hair, go to an experienced stylist and salon elsewhere!!!**update**I read the owner’s reply and am not able to reply to her review so I will write it here.I did tell my stylist that I didn’t like my hair, and I did tell management before i walked out of the salon! My stylist knew I didnt like my hair, but said she would fix it and cut it shorter later because she didnt have time. (Turns out, the salon was closing at 5pm and she didnt want to stay late to fix it). Shortly after, I left a voicemail and texted (I can show you the screen shot) asking to speak to either the owner or management bc I hated my hair so much. I rescheduled to have her go shorter bc that was the actual cut I wanted but as I walked to my car, I realized she wasn’t going to be able to fix it. So I called a half hour later to speak to either management or the owner and cancelled my appt. I am appalled to hear she has six years of experience- she did not act like, nor cut my hair like she had “level 4 experience”. I have had many years cutting my hair in different styles. I have done every hair cut there is- even a Halle Berry pixie cut, so I know a good cut when I see one. I went and got my hair fixed by a hair stylist who has 15+ years of experience, and guess what?! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted and it turned out adorable.I will be emailing you to give you my fully story. The fact that your reply to me doesn’t take any responsibility for the error or offer to truly resolve what happened really shocks me.

I came to this salon as moral support for my sister [CHOPPING it all off today!! V proud]The staff were shiny, kind and inviting! I was visiting grand junction last week and stopped in here to look at their selection of clothes. Everything they had was adorable and the employees were so friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend Jessica at Posh! I had moved here about a year and a half ago, and asked around on where I should go to have my hair cut and colored. Jessica is wonderful and her prices are fair. When Im there, she always is super friendly and provides recommendations or suggestions to help achieve the look Im going for. Also, they have a great selection of products and even a small selection of clothes! Overall my experience has been 5 stars!

I had a pedi and Mani 1 year ago and I was very exited to try this salon but I was very disappointed .I felt my nails that my mani was not done well because I had all kind of red gel polish on my skin outside my nails and the nails polish was so thick and not even shiny. My pedi was not better.I was referred by a friend and I am sad to put a bad review.

Jess and Bryce are absolute miracle workers and made my lengthy appointment so much fun. Kanisha and Diane also stopped by my chair to lend their expertise. Josie at the front was also so sweet and made sure I didnt need anything the entire time I was there! They absolutely stand behind their work and will make sure you dont leave until you are 100% satisfied. Being new town I was looking for my new salon and I am confident that I have found just what I needed. I look forward to many years of working with them.

Ive been coming here to get my nails and hair done since February 2019. The staff is always amazing and the salon is always clean. I see Alexus and she does a great job with my hair and nails. She always has some new technique or color that she wants to do.

I went in for a salon visit with Alex and she was fabulous! Gave us a tour of the salon, told us all about the products and the boutique. Was a very friendly environment, clean, and the energy was great. I would definitely come here for services and would one day love to be employed here!
