So I have been to at least 3 dozen dentists in my life. In all that time I have never once, apart from here, heard 2 dentists collaboration about my grill while they were over it. It seems to me this is not just good but excellent practice. I heard their opinions and was able understand two opinions and when they agreed on a course of action I was educated on the thought process of both and felt very comfortable with it. Team effort is a great thing and so is teaching the patient a little bit about whats best for them. This was an emergency procedure and so I dont know if this is a normal thing. The office was clean, the receptionist was efficient, beautiful (her eyes) and very friendly. So far my work done there is holding and its already been a week. Ill be back to this place.

I always enjoy seeing Karen for my cleanings. Both her and Dr Poovey take extra time with you just to chat and to see how life is going. I have always had great results with procedures and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere. They always make sure to address any problems I may have thoroughly. I have been going for 10 years and love the office! Friendly, efficient, and top of the line!

This was my first cleaning after having lower implants and dentures plus reworking my upper dentures. Of course I have nothing bad to say - everyone is very professional and knowledgeable. UPDATE: Second cleaning - Still not having any problems. Everyone is very knowledgeable and professional but not stuffy. Very good experience overall compared to the experience with my old implants and dentures.

The best experience at a dentist I have ever had in my life!! Been going here for 9 yrs. Friendly, experienced, up to all of todays dental technology. Everything you need is there. I can actually say I love my dental peeps!! A+++++ service & care.

Dr. Poovey is amazing. Beyond excellent in my opinion. Have never been treated so wonderful in a dentist chair and had such great care by Dr. Poovey, his surgical assistant Heather and staff. Highly recommend & cant say enough good about Jp Dental. I would rate them a Triple AAA+ & 10 Stars.

It must come from the top down. Honestly, not a big fan of going to the dentist but after many, many years and a lot of different dentist offices, Ive found one I actually enjoy going to. I know, it sounds weird, but everyone in this office, from the front desk girls to Dr Poovey and Dr Ari are very friendly, down to earth and do everything they can to make you comfortable and understand so you can make an educated decision about your dental situation. Ive never seen a dentist office with more up-to-date equipment. I went in today hoping to replace a broken crown (I procrastinated way too long) and found out my best option is an implant. I trust this office, their work and their judgment and recommendation. I would highly recommend this office whether you need a cleaning, filling or implants or anything else. Honestly, I wouldnt trust anyone but Dr Poovey with putting an implant in my mouth.

Professional and friendly staff. I went in with a tooth hurting. Found out it was probably just a bruised tooth. No dental work required. Ibuprofen and a follow-up to make sure!. Ive been going to them for many years. Always have treated me well!

Iv been going to JPPoovey DMD PC For 8 years, the length of time weve lived here in Grand Junction. Dr. Poovey is the ONLY dentist who erased my fears I carried since my childhood of those office visits.Hes gentle, soft spoken, and makes one feel as if they are his only patient, I include my hubby in this as well.Hes given me the smile I always dreamed of as that is one thing I enjoy doing, smiling. 😃His staff are amazing!! Friendly, chat with you, make you feel relaxed as soon as you enter the building.
