James and his crew did I wonderful installation job. It came out great. Couldnt be happier with the workmanship!

In the flooring industry it is a common practice for stores to mark up products from 80%-120%. You get the stores cost then there’s the contractors cost and finally the walk in clients cost. And sometimes the installation cost you pay maybe more than what the subcontractors get paid on the work orders. Find the middle men and cut them out so you don’t get double overcharged.

Customer service skills are lacking. Installers left without completing the job and wouldnt return. Very disappointed.

We just had flooring installed over our old tile. From beginning to end, the guys at Good Shelter Flooring were amazing and friendly. In fact, after browsing at several local flooring shops, we chise them because of their outstanding customer service.Jason helped us decide which product was best for our situation and even came to our home to test it over our existing tile before commiting to a purchase. Jordan and Riley did an excellent job installing our floors and reinstalling our baseboards. Our home looks beautiful, and we couldnt be happier.

Great experience with Good Shepherd throughout the whole process. Worked with Kyle and he was awesome explaining everything and was quick to respond to questions. Best prices in town as well. Trevor did the install and did a great job. Did wonderful on explaining everything they were doing and how to take care of the new floor. Came out awesome. When it comes time to do the stairs and bedrooms I’ll be back for sure.

First time doing any kind of business with this shop. Everyone has different standards so I guess well have to see. The staff seem friendly enough. Immediately returned my call when they had missed it. Will probably continue to go through other shops first.

Best flooring business in grand junction by far

First of all thanks to Kyle (our sales person). He gave us all the options available that fits our budget with a very good quality carpet. Customer service was really great which I did not experience with other flooring centre here in town. Darrel and Wade (installers) was very friendly and professional. They did a really great job with the installation. Very satisfied customer here!

We went yesterday to look at flooring and window treatments. Were in the business for 15 minutes without being greeted and left and sales guy said nothing. Spend your money elsewhere.

Terrible customer service. Do not shop here, save yourself time and headache.I ordered 2400sq ft of LVP, upon instillation of the first 200sq ft I had major concerns with the product and felt it was faulty. Ed and Jason came out and said it was my instillation error and that the product was good.I again attempted to install but the product was not laying as it should.After a few exchanges about the flooring and me asking to return the faulty product under warranty, Ed was very rude. He belittled me and even said he had to stop a conversation at one point because he had become angry.Extremely unprofessional.He accused me of changing my mind and that the reason I wanted to return the flooring was just because I wanted to go to Home Depot or Abby. He insisted the product was good, I was incapable of installing it, and the manufacturer would not warrantee it.After being completely disrespected and getting nowhere, I installed the flooring in my home. For my family financially, it was better to install the flooring rather than of throwing away $10,000.Months later the flooring was coming apart.I decided go above Ed to the dealer and the manufacturer Tri-West. They sent a representative to my house and agreed it was a faulty product. They asked why I hadn’t brought up my concerns when I installed the product.In the end they sent me 2400sq ft of new product. It went in seamlessly with no problems. It’s beautiful and we love it.Beware of “Good Shepherd” flooring.

Good Shepherd cleaned my guest room carpet which were stained and dull in preparation for Holiday guests. They also cleaned my stair carpeting leading to the second floor. Neither of these areas had been professionally cleaned in eight years and were in terrible condition. Chris was professional and friendly and did a magnificent job on all the carpeting which now looks like new and ready for guests. I would highly recommend Good Shepherds carpet cleaning service, especially if its being done by Chris!

No Im not a fake you guys are supposed to be doing work at my parents house and the contractors you sent to do the floor and kitchen not only do they barely show up do actually do the work the work they did is absolutely terrible, I could have done a better job on both the hardwood floors and kitchen. Absolutely nobody should ever use Good Shepherd to do any work in their homes.

We choose to work with Good Sheperd Flooring Center for our kitchen design and replacement of countertops. Adrian Burke offered professional service with great follow up in a prompt and timely manner. I was exceptionally pleased to work with him. We purchased a 78 year old home that needed a lot of TLC and remodeling. His expertise and kindness helped make the process tolerable and efficient. He always took the time to email or call to follow-up in a timely manner. His artistic knowledge and guidance was very helpful in completing the installation of our new quartz countertops. During the installation, there was a little snag on supplies being available and I called him for assistance. He truly dropped what he was doing and went to personally purchase the items needed and hand delivered them to us. I would highly recommend their design services for any construction project you may be working on.

Purchased new rug for my rental per their recommendation to wear well and clean easy. Poor installation, loose at edges around tile and tack strip. Offered to come back and repair and never did. First time rug was cleaned by another professional company rug strands came up. They came and looked at it and said somebody damaged rug, I disagreed. Long story short, they repaired the rug and were to keep the 1 foot square damaged rug so I could look at it but they lost it. I believe the glue in that spot was missing or poor. 6 years later and the spot is loosing strands and around tile looks horrible. Not a Good Shepherd.

After shopping around for months for flooring and ready to give up due to quality, choices, discouraging info on doing our floors, pricing, knowledge, (yes, I could go on) we came across Good Shepherd Flooring!! They were on our local channel, a commercial. Hubby & I decided to give the flooring idea one more go. To get to the important info, Good Shepherd Flooring was who we needed! Even being close to their closing time on a Saturday, Jason took the time as if they had just opened, to talk with us about flooring. How educated and experienced they are and friendly!! We went back a week later after having a sample plank of the flooring we wanted for a week to look over, and decided it’s a go!! Prices are great, so is selection & quality. 2 weeks for order to arrive and our floor is in, 2 days, super great job guys, Riley & Aaron, did such professional work, clean & prompt. Always working with our needs while here. I highly recommend Good Shepherd Flooring and I’m certain we will be using them for our other flooring needs in the near future, such as carpet. Today October 22, 2019 a gentleman showed up with the van at home. He came in politely as I open the front door held out his hand looked me in the eye and told me his name was Chris and that he was there to clean my carpets. As I showed Chris in to my home he was very polite manner full and timely he was patient with my conversation and was receptive to my need. It was a very good meeting with Chris he came in Showed him where the carpets need to be clean. Chris hopped right to it he was fast diligent hard-working and removed all my stains. The best carpet cleaning I have ever seen it smelled good it felt good and it looked clean the price was very low in comparative to other carpet cleaning places.I shook Chris his hand as he was leaving he gave me a sense of confidence and security of knowing my home was in a better place than it was when he left,I would recommend good shepherd carpet cleaning to anyone and I will every time somebody asked me do you know a carpet cleaner. We had our old carpet removed and new carpet installed.Kyle C. was our sales representative... he was so helpful and knew his product. He helped us decide on the type of carpet, color and padding.He was a delight to work with and directed us in the right direction. The quality of the carpet and the color recommendation was spot on!If we would have went with our original decision on the color that we picked out we would not have been happy with the color.Kyle explained to us why he would recommend a different color....he was right and we are grateful for his expertise during this process.We would recommend Good Shepherd if you are looking for a company that cares about what the end product looks like.

My husband and I have several investment properties in GJ and when we put money into flooring we are very particular as we want a product and an install that will last years!I have used Kyle and his installers three times in the past 2 years. We had the hardest time getting this company to come out and finish our job that they started. 8 weeks of torn up house for a simple flooring install. Shawn was full of excuses and so was their installer Jason. They both were full of lies and B.S and they played each other off of one another. Shifting blame and making excuses. Shawn, the salesman, even hung up on me when I was trying to get this figured out. We went to Carpet Time to get the job finished and they did it quickly and professionally. I would avoid Good Shepherd Flooring like the plague f I were you.

Good quality and selection of carpets. EXCELLENT installation.John and Greg were true pros. We try and support the smaller, local firms. However repeat business and referrals do not seem important to GSF. Got a real one and done vibe from the front counter. I do not expect any service after sale. Will shop elsewhere for the other rooms in our home.

I cant say enough wonderful things about these guys. I spilled a cleaner on our carpet and Frank came out the same day and repaired it. I have tried to find the spot and cant. Jamie in the office is funny, accommodating and the pricing is very fair. They are coming out to clean the whole house Monday. Will be exclusively using these guys from now on.

After two terrible experiences with other companies trying to get blinds we called Good Shepherd. What a difference! From the first visit to installation they have been professional, prompt, courteous, budget friendly and honest. Our new blinds are perfect. We have three half circle windows and one company told us blinds were not possible. Good Shepherd supplied them and again they are perfect. If you need blinds they should be your first call.

Sent a client to Kyle C. for some hardwood. He was able to give her a great deal. Flooring came in on time with no issues. I would highly recommend Good Shepherd to anyone looking to redo their floors. Great prices and outstanding customer service.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Cant even begin to tell all they did.I purchased carpet for three rooms. When they arrived to install, they had the wrong color for the living room. I immediately called the salesman, who immediately got nasty & said I am right, you are wrong, you either accept the carpet or forfeit your $1500 deposit. And we are not discussing it further. The next day, I called the head salesman, who basically said the same thing, in the same tone, blaming it all on me, refusing to do anything about it, then trying to convince me that they did me a favor because the color I chose was too light & I never would have liked it. Awful and hateful.When the installers left, they left a piece of carpet on the porch, saying isnt nice we left a piece for your dog to lie on. The next day, I picked up that piece, and underneath was a big pile of tacks and staples that extended into the yard, (dog pen) and into the driveway. When I called to complain about that, I got the same nasty attitude, blaming it all on me. I cant believe they put my dogs safety at risk, and mine, and then refused to take any responsibility. I had to buy a magnetic broom to clean up THEIR mess.The BBB says there is nothing they can do if Good Shep wont accept any responsibility, except post my complaint, which they did. I am now telling every person I meet, not to deal with these people.Really the most atrocious company I have ever seen. These are the most egregious things they did, there is more, but not enough room to put them all down.

Shortly after I had all my flooring in place my entire kitchen and family room flooded. I had been told to replace it. I had to get a second opinion so I got in touch with Jason. Thank you Jason for knowing your business and product and for directing me on how to save the new flooring.If you are ever in need of flooring or just guidance until youre ready, reach out to these guys.

Another great cleaning job by Chris. Good Shepherd never disappoints. A little late but they installed new carpet in our living room, Hunter Douglas Window coverings and special ordered hard to find hemp wall paper that looks great!

We went to them for tile work on a kitchen remodel and they helped us on all aspects of the project. The tile and installation were excellent. We will definitely use them again on other home projects.

Kyle at Good Shepherd ordered the wrong stairnoses for our floors and then insisted they were correct and refused to work with our contractor re: how to install them (still insisting they were the correct ones). He then lost the replacement order and blamed the guys in the stock room. He was extremely difficult to get in touch with, never called me back and I had to go down there in person multiple times. Love our floors but would never work with them again. Poor customer service. I have since found Carpetime and they have always been extremely helpful and responsive.

Beginning with the sales staff clear through to the finish of installation, we could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was always helpful and fun to deal with and I cannot say enough good things about the installation. We had old tile removed which was quite a dusty and dirty undertaking, but the installers kept the dirt to the absolute minimum that they could. I will gladly recommend and deal with Good Shepherd again.

The staff was unknowledgeable and unprofessional. When the gentleman showed up to clean our couches he asked if we had any drop cloths to lay under our couches as we have all hardwood flooring. The type of flooring was never mentioned at the time of making the appointment. In my opinion the type of flooring should be asked on every appointment when it comes to upholstery if there are policies in place or making sure that your vans are fully equipped to handle any situation that might come up such as this. Not only did it waste your companies time it also wasted our time. When a customers pays a healthy price to have 2 small pieces of furniture cleaned you as a business should cover all possible situations. As a fellow business owner I am just surprised. I own a concrete business and it would be like me showing up at your house to pour a new driveway and asking you to provide me with the plastic to cover your house so that I dont get concrete on it. I would never do that because it is my job! I hope this helps other consumers when making a choice on who they will hire to come clean their furniture.

When we decided to change our flooring out from carpet to LVT Tuffcore we went to Good Shepherd Flooring Center, because of the way they advertise on TV and from other clients who had used their services. We never thought once about going to any other place. They were always our choice to do business with. We were asked if we went somewhere else for a better price and told them we had not intentions of doing that you get what you pay for and we cant say enough about our beautiful floor now. The salesman Jason was really knowledgeable and helped us pick out the right color to go with our tile in entryway and kitchen. He knew his business. We love it so much. The two guys, John and Greg, that laid the floor were excellent workers, tore out our carpeting in the living room, sitting room and office to put down the new floor, cleaning up all the time as they went, and they moved furniture back into place when all finished. Did a great job. We will go back again for other services. I have already told other people about our experience and would recommend Good Shepherd Flooring anytime, have great prices, great outstanding service and respect for their customers. Cant say enough.

They were scheduled to come to my home for an estimate. 5 minutes before they were supposed to arrive I got a call that they couldnt make. OK. We rescheduled for 2 days later. 2 days later, no call, no show, no nothing. I went with a local competitor to install 1250 sq. ft. of hardwood in my home.

I went in to get a floor installed, the job turned out to be bigger than expected, and not as simple as it should have been. They worked with me and got it done. Super professional, excellent product, excellent service. I would recommend them based off my experience.

Worst customer service I got from Kyle. Last year when we went with him to do our flooring it was great at the beginning. Every time I would go in he could find my file. Then I needed sheet vinyl for my shed that Mor Storage was doing and I was told to talk to Shane and Kyle told me he could take care of my needs. Very big mistake. I was over charged. The person who installed for both my house and my shed also charge for both. Labor and material for my shed was already paid for with Mor Storage. Mor Storage ended up giving me a refund only because Good Shepherd would not own up to there mistake.

Kyle and his staff were awesome from start to finish for the best wood flooring for my home. Thanks Kyle!
