The team is always helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicles I bring in. Ive always know ahead of them completing the work what needs to be done,, how much it will cost, and time frame.

Had to take the car back, have the same work done a week later. They had no courtesy vehicle so I had to walk in the rain got soaking wet and then they charged me to fix their mistake from the week before

They are very friendly there. Ive never had a problem, except for the time I went just to ask if they could make sure I installed my turn signal bulb correctly. Whoever was there told me that it would cost like $30-something to diagnose it. I told him Im not paying for that. I just needed to know that I installed it correctly bc it wasnt coming on. He came out and looked, then said it isnt coming on because I needed a new connector (just like at OReillys). Then I left.

I made an appointment for a tire rotation (free when you buy tires from them) and I dropped off my car at 8:30 in the morning like I was asked. They did not finish until almost 5pm. I understand that they are very busy, but the purpose of an appointment is to avoid things like this from happening. While they do have good sales on tires and offer military discount, I think I would rather invest in the tools to do my own tire rotation.

So I took my Crosstrek to these guys to have the front cv joints replaced about 6 months ago. On Valentines day my passenger side front cv axle broke on I29 going 75 mph. I had to have my car towed back to grand forks and when I called them to let them know what happened I was told they would cover it under warranty. Since my insurance would only tow to a dealer, I had the dealership fix the problem. When I called them today I was told they would not pay the bill since they didnt fix it at Firestone. My question is, why would I trust them to fix a problem that was caused by them in the first place? This place uses cheap parts and overcharges for labor. Never getting my business again. 2 stars because at least I got 6 months of use out of what they did on my car.

We have always have an amazing experience with the Firestone in Minot so we decide to give the Grand forks store a try. I will never go back there, it was one of my worst experience! Had to end up taking my car to the Honda dealership to fix what they messed up!Update: I was very impressed with Brian from MN that reached out to us to follow up. He genuinely cared and was very apologetic about our experience. We will not go back to the Grand Forks Firestone but I will give their other locations a try.

Very professional crew. Ive never had a problem scheduling an appointment, even though they also seem very busy. I never felt like they were trying to gouge me on services or upsell me more than is understandable, and I feel confident in the work they do.The only reason I give 4 stars is because of how expensive everything is, which I get is probably the same everywhere else in town but I think that $520 for a change of brake pads and an oil change is a bit overpriced.Still, the job was done in a timely manner and the staff were all very respectful and pleasant so I would recommend this place for most vehicle needs.

Made an appointment for an oil change because I was informed of a special price promotion. After making the reservation and providing my car information, I wasnt informed until drop off that my car did not qualify for the promotional price they discussed over the phone. The new price was about 5 bucks more than the NW Tire just down the block. That sucked but I already had the appointment and it wasnt worth canceling over 5 dollars.1 hour later and my car was still up on their lift. Who the heck wants to wait over an hour for an oil change AFTER making an appointment.Never again. Dude didnt even seem to notice how inconvenient their service is.

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. A service that shouldnt take more than 30 minutes to an hour at most shops. At this shop it took 3 hours. Yes, 3 hours. Rates might be priced for other local shops doing the same work, but those dont have customers who schedule appointments wait 3 hours either.

I had a 430 APPOINTMENT for an oil change. An hour later, my vehicle was still in the parking lot. I understand busy, but if you arent gonna try harder than that, let me know and Ill move on with my day.

Talk to Tim over the phone explained my situation with my car. I explained I had a lifetime alignment what Firestone that I usually go and get my car aligned in Washington State. I stayed to Tim that one of the Firestone that was in Washington State didnt take care of me on my alignment very good, all I had to do explain to him what the situation was and he end up scheduling me an appointment on my schedule and work with me to get my car in as soon as possible to get my alignment done. Im very happy with the service that this Firestone gave me. I was able to get my alignment done within about 45 minutes got in and out within an hour. Very fast service. Also showed me print out of the alignment what was out and they put my car back into alignment and explained what was out and why I was getting the tire wear that I was getting. I recommend going to the Firestone and talking to Tim hes very professional and I was very happy with the work that the shop did very happy with the service by the other employees as well very nice and polite. I would definitely come back I actually live in Williston North Dakota and I live five and a half hours away and I will be coming to this Firestone a lot more. I do recommend does Firestone. I give it a five-star across the board.

Dropped my Edge off Saturday for a last minute oil change and a tire rotation before going on vacation. I would normally do it myself but I was too busy. Greyson and Tim were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. They had my vehicle back to me within a couple of hours which was much faster than I had anticipated seeing as I did not have an appointment. I will definitely be returning.

Grayson and Tim are great to work with. Brandon has done most the work on my pickup and I continue to take it back not only for tires but for routine services. I drop off before work and pick it up when I am done. I never feel gouged or pressured into upgrades or additional services. Excellent team at the Grand Forks location. I have been to Firestone in other communities and I am usually disappointed. I have learned to just have the guys in Grand Forks take care of my pickup before I leave town and check it out again when I get back.Highly Recommend

I am from the Twin Cities and when visiting my daughter for the weekend realized a wheel bearing was out in my truck. I was glad to find a place that was open and had time available to work on my truck on a Saturday! Tim was able to get my truck on the rack and diagnosed within an hour! I needed a new battery and called at 6:20. Greyson offered to get me in that night if I wanted - they close at 7. I was really impressed that he would offer since at many places I think they would already be in quitting mode. He took care of my service, and helped a few other people in between. My husband and I have been going to Firestone for awhile now. We feel like we have to return due to purchasing tires there. We are now done using this business. We believe they conduct their business in a dishonest manner. Just today we brought our car in for a tire rotation. Of course they call with other problems they found. They recommended an oil change. We agreed since this is our daughters car and we werent sure of the last time she had the oil change. Once we looked into it we realized she had changed it recently. My husband went to Firestone and asked them about why they would recommend an oil change when it wasnt needed! They actually said, we only recommended it, you chose to do it. This isnt the first time we have felt they falsely reported car repairs. Customer service just doesnt exist here. No refund, only arguments.

Normally very happy with this location, but it took 2.5 hours for an oil change and two new tires, after I had made an appointment. Not very happy with service yesterday.

My experience with this store has been very positve. When I have needed tires or auto repairs, they can schedule an appointment in a timely manner.

The quality of work isnt bad here. Its the time it takes to get the work done. Have went to Firestone multiple times because their prices are reasonable. The last two times I have been there have put me over the edge. Each time I went I had an appointment. The one time it was for an oil change and it took over and hour for them to complete. This last time on 1/21/14 I went in for a oil change, tire rotation and alignment. It took 2 hrs and 40 minutes. I expected it to take 1-1.5 hrs to complete. It was super annoying how long it took. Never going back.

They are way nice and helpful. They will walk you through everything and talk with you about your needs. They are not pushy. They will give you their recommendations but dont make you feel uncomfortable. Great financing options cause car repair can get costy.

Had tries swapped. Within about a week or so the tire came off the rim entirely and was expected to pay for the labor to put the tire back on even though I wasnt at fault. Watch-out for shady business practices.

Got my 2017 WRX aligned here and I gotta say the tech really knows what he is doing! Its lowered on performance suspension and I would never say it was a easy alignment and they got it on point with no pulls! Sales staff there kicks butt and I would recommend!

The folks at Firestone Grand Forks helped me out after blowing a trailer tire outside of Grand Forks recently while I was transporting my toy hauler home to Canada from my winter residence in Canada. I had made a phone call to 3 tire shops and Firestone had everything I needed in stock and prepared to replace and mount a new tire for me over the Kong much hour. We arrived there and were taken care of promptly and professionally while maintaining a very friendly and courteous vibe through the entire process. I don’t remember everyone’s names there I met in a short time but the one young fellow named Grayson was extremely attentive and professional. I got them to check the other tire and it showed visible crack between the treads that surely would have been another blow out in the near future. They promptly changed it out for me also.Also, of the 3 quotes I got, Firestone’s was the best!!Thanks again, Firestone Grand Forks, ND

Good price for an oil change by using an online coupon and the employees were friendly but 4 hours for a simple oil change is far too long. I had an appointment at 10am and my car was done at close to 2pm. I will not be going there anymore.

People bring vehicles to shops like this because they expect professional service and work to be performed when they say it will be completed. This shop has a very difficult time in performing work on time. Dropped a vehicle off at 11am, but after calling to check on progress work hasnt even been started at 4:30pm..... not very professional. Shame on me though, Ive experienced this each time I have used this shop and still used them again. Last time used, guaranteed!

It took 2 hrs to get my tires changed and then they couldnt explain the bill to me. Oh and cant forget the $114 bill they hit me at the end for and alignment. Danny and the manager were rude and disrespectful. They said demeaning comments. I will never be back to the place. I went there because Firestone is the only place I go to back home and they are always friendly and nice plus they give you great deals, well that wasnt the case here.

Awful service took almost 2 hours for an oil change. They backed my car into someone elses car and lied about the amount of damage. Rear right side of bumper is cracked and I need a new tail light. I did not have to pay for my oil change so thats good. As customer service goes they are quite nice just need to hire on more people or not take on so many cars and need to look before they back up. I have $2000 dollars in damages that have to be fixed now. Firestone agreed to pay for those damages and to pay for my rental car. Over all I will not be taking my vehicle back.

These two are so kind, Greyson and Tim knew exactly what he was talking about, hey are kind and thoughtful to cost and you definitely can trust what they tell you!

I would not recommend this place to anyone for they try to manipulate and take advantage of those they may deem as innocent, clueless, or inexperienced in car repairs. I had a tire problem that cost me less than $300 later on in another place for more than $1,500 after they pushed me to apply for their credit card and realized I qualified for $2500 credit line. They also did not change my oil, filters, and laid to me they did.

The work that we had done, oil change, battery replacement, etc. was reasonable, but when I picked up the car, they suggested another $540 of repairs for seals in the pinion/differential transfer case because of seepage. I asked if there were cheaper options, if it could be delayed, if there was an option of topping off the lost fluids. No, dont delay, cant do were my answers. I grew up around used cars and farm repairs, so thought this sounded a little fishy. Took it to a different, reputable mechanic who checked the fluid levels, told me fluids were like new, and seals had minimal seepage, no leaks. Cost me $16. This kind of treatment just to boost sales is JUST NOT RIGHT! Lost another customer.

Usually I dont mind using #firestone Firestone Tires. Ive always had a pleasant experience and got tires at a good price while I was stationed in Biloxi. I even have free alignments for life with them. However, the one here in Grand Forks, ND. Somewhat a different story. Manager has a nice and clean shop. Employees are nice. Tires are decently priced but I wouldnt use them for anything other than tires. I had a oil change from them. Noticed a leak under my car. Upon initial inspection the drain cap for the filter housing was left off. I decided to drain the oil and check the filter. Good thing I did! They installed the filter wrong. It was completely crushed and torn inside the housing. This could have led to much much bigger issues with the motor. Like possible motor failure/seizure. Someone needs a little retaining. Ive worked on all sorts of motor vehicles and boats for a little over 15 years. The first thing I learned is if something doesnt fit DONT FORCE IT! Take it off and check that youre not doing something wrong. Beware!!!

Made an appointment for 1pm to have new tires put on, dropped off the vehicle a half hour early, and and it took over 4 hours to be finished...not impressed. The staff was very nice, but they work very slow.

I got a new muffler and exhaust pipe replaced last April in 2018, not only did they WELD the piping together (instead of using clamps like they are suppose to) so I can no longer replace parts if they go bad separately. Now it is only 6/6/19 only 14 months lasted and I already have to replace my exhaust pipe BUT not only my exhaust pipe, I have to replace the muffler AGAIN because they welded everything together without my acknowledgment.

Dont like firestone at all, way over priced, $ 420.00 was quoted for a spark plug and wire replacement, not possible . and they estimate one hour for oil change, cant see that possible I normally go to auto experts in grand forks, 66.00 per hour and ALWAYS are good on their work, they are honest, been going to auto experts in grand forks for almost 8 years, excellent work they do, EVERYONE try auto experts, I have the papers on my spark plug replacement and wires, ONLY WAS $ 186.00 auto experts was, you tell me how they come up with $ 420.00, hum .
