Kims Barber Shop has a Strong woman whom is straight forward and dedicated to her clients. Shes a little though but loves where shes at and is very attentive. Ive tried different shops in this area and although shes by herself shes taken care of every customer that comes through her shop. Unlike other shops Ive been in Ive been bypassed and forgotten because they were closing soon. Even though I tip over $6-$12 every time they never remember my haircut and I use to go every 10 to 14 days. First time coming here she took a look at my style and made it better for way cheaper than the other guys. Funny part now I go around every 2 weeks and save me money for a clean cut every time. Service was fast, the haircut was great and she did something differently than most barbers, she cut my hair without allowing other barbers, phone calls, etc to be distractions. I feel like barber shops, not all but a majority Ive been to have a frat house mentality. Youre getting paid to do a service and this amazing lady did just that. I enjoyed the conversation she and I had. For those of you who value and want to give your business to proud Americans this is the place to go. I was born in Germany, she was born in Korea but we have one great thing in common, we are Americans and Patriots.

Ms Kim is a good barber and very pleasant.

Kim is Korean and if you care to check most of the barbers she hires are Hispanic and I have seen on many occasions that she/ assistant cut the hair of an African American its usually the customer that chooses the person that cuts their hair. She is very friendly, and is in no way prejudice against anyone no matter what race they may be. Like any business its hard to keep quality employees and some of the better ones she hired moved on to either work someplace else or start their own business. Waiting takes patience so the best thing to do if your in a hurry is arrive early or call and make an appointment but be on time if you do because like other businesses time is money.

I have been going to see Kim as a barber for over 25 years. I moved from the Westside to Eastside 40th Street and baseline. I traveled from the East side to the west side to Avondale to get my haircut. At Kims barbershop.Besides it is hard to make old new friends.

Mrs Kim is a treasure. Remembers what you got last. Has the best prices & fades in town. Sometimes she’s not fully staffed which won’t allow for a quick in & out all the time, but sometimes you get real lucky. You won’t be disappointed

I’m not from here and I fell for the okie doke.. now I don’t know if the guy with the blonde spokes is new but I left from his chair looking as worse as the moment I walked in. Wish I had known what seat to sit in. My advice is to go to to beverage barbershop. Ol girl straightened me out! Plus they got brews.

I have been going to Kims since I first moved here from Michigan. My first 3 months here in AZ I was looking for a good barbershop and happened to stop in one day and been going to her ever since 2010. She is a very nice,courteous and entertaining always willing to to do her best to make you feel at home while there. My father, 2 brothers and son all go to her now and i would recommend her and her staff to anyone that is looking for an exceptional great haircut, at home atmosphere feeling, cleanliness, and great service without any hassle ....

Right now Ive been sitting here for 40 minutes. Both the kids were at lunch and Kim wanted them to cut my hair. So she took walk in after walk in while I sat here waiting for them to get back. They finally have a few minutes ago and theyre eating instead of helping me. Ive had good experiences here before but idk whats up with today

Been going here for a while and it is the best barber shop I have been to. I always have Kim cut my hair and she does an amazing job! I have seen the other guys do a great job as well but I stick with Kim. Definitely recommend this place.

Rate low, due to the fact the there were two barbers, one young Latina and one young man. The profanity and foul language had me disappointed. Talking among themselves about getting high/blunts and snorting cocaine. Kim appeared not to be bothered by the language used. The cut was great!

I needed a straight razor shave and my daughter needed a trim. I got mine done first while she played. She took an hour to shave my head and face to kill time while it wasnt busy and by the time more customers came in she was directing them to the other barbers. I said my daughter still needs a trim and she told me let her mother bring her to her moms stylist. Basically blew off having to cut her hair. Not to mention this creepy woman was joe bidening me the entire time and whispering close to my ear when she would talk.Not worth it. I promise you

Came here for a last minute cut, They managed to mess up both me and my step sons hair. Looks like a bunch of kids work here that do not know what theyre doing at all and it is very unprofessional that she lets them cut hair without a license. Over priced and inexperienced. Wouldve done a better job myself.Never going back again.

This barber shop messed up my childs hair and the owner who appears to be Asian American I guess wont even apologize. When I told her that one of his guys have messed up my childs hair she said it looks good. I was pissed off and said to myself they are not getting my money anymore. Please avoid that barber shop and go somewhere else. I have cut my hair there a couple of times and I realized that the owner of the shop wont cut my hair as a black man.
