I was a friend of Mike Yates, I know the family, and they are wonderful. Mike the supervisor in service though... he stands above everyone else that works there. He is so exceptional. To be honest, we have only had great service. We had good sales people too. The waiting area is clean and the snacks are much better than nasty grocery donuts at most other places, which I have to say, when waiting for a while it really nice to have some healthy options. You cannot go wrong with Yates, in any way that we have found, and we have bought 3 cars there. We get serviced there even thought its 45 minutes away. That should speak for itself. Besides all that if you are lucky enough to know the family... well then you are blessed!

Shout out to this awesome duo Oscar in sales and Pedro in finance. From the moment we called looking for the truck we wanted Oscar was honest on what they had in inventory and didnt try luring us down there to buy something we didnt want. He worked on getting us the best deal for the truck we wanted to buy and on the truck we were trading in. Once we were handed off to Pedro in finance he hooked us up with coupons that still kept us in our price range while providing great warranty coverage. These guys were so down to earth and worked so well together that they convinced my husband to want to get a corvette they also had there. Thank god I was there or wed be looking at 2 car loans lol 😆.

I went to a few dealership before visiting Yates and the vibe there was more family oriented. Oscar was extremely helpful on showing us their inventory and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles. We were able to test drive a few vehicles to make sure we were making the right decision on purchasing a vehicle. At the end of the day we did not find what we were looking for and Oscar informed us he would keep an eye out for what we were looking. Two days later he gave us a call and told us he had a vehicle that matched our description that was fresh off the delivery truck. We test drive the vehicle as a family to solidify this was the vehicle we wanted. Sure enough it was what we were looking for. The paperwork and signing was about average wait time. Oscar helped us set up On-Star and did one final walk through with us. They washed our truck, filled our tank and told us they were a phone call a way if we were to have any questions. Gave us one final Congratulations as we drove off the lot! We are extremely satisfied with our purchase and appreciate the Yates family for being patient with us.

Always courteous, professional. We do still have a rattle under the motor, sounds like a loose pan. Hasnt been taken care of for several visits. (the visits were not mainly the rattle the reason we brought it in. You can see that we have purchased 2 vehicles and all service, work has been done by you.

The staff are friendly. The repair that I requested and paid for was not done properly. The vehicle still had a leak after I paid over. $1,600. I brought it back to the dealership so they could remedy the problem. It sat for 10 days before the dealership replied. The dealership would not fix the problem.

Took my truck in for oil change and tire rotation. Service was very good, and personnel recognized that I had a maintenance warranty and applied it, so the services cost me nothing. It did take longer than anticipated, but it was a busy day. Overall, I was happy with everything.

I’m tired of dealing with this dealership. Totally unorganized dealership. They will send you from person to person because no one is willing to take the initiative to help. I’ve been trying to get stuff taken care of with them since March 2021 and cannot get a call back. I went up there to get my oil changed and speak to someone in person for the second time now and the people I need to speak to “won’t be in until noon”. I was promised calls back and never received anything. I would never recommend this dealership to a family member. They also don’t clean your car when you get service. LIBERTY GMC IS WAY BETTER

Let me tell you all about this Amazing dealership and the Wonderful service of Jeremy Schneider as my service coordinator at Yates Buick/GMC. Our battery had gave up a day before going out of town. After going to one dealership (not Yates) and being disrespected and judged when I walked in, I had a very sour taste for dealerships. I tried again and found a car I like at Yates Buick Gmc. The salesman’s name was Cade. This young man was one of the best salespersons I have ever dealt with. He was there every step of the way and explained step by step what was going on. There was no judging just amazing customer service. I was very impressed with this young man. So, if anyone needs a car go see Cade at Yates. I would have given a 5 star review but in our case within 24 hours of driving from the lot we had a problem leaving us without our newly purchased vehicle for almost an entire month. Service took a long time to give an estimate of damages/repair cost and finally when we got the vehicle the interior was not in clean condition. The staff treated us with exceptional professionalism otherwise. Kudos to our sales person Beannyth for her continued support through the entire process. Finally in love with our new vehicle. Took 2 of my vehicles. The 1st vehicle I took in was a new model Traverse for oil change. When done they told the vehicle outside. And it wasn’t! They had sent my vehicle to a different location. At first the service rep acted like I didn’t know what my own vehicle look like. I wasted 40min for them to locate my vehicle. The 2nd I took in a 2014 regal for a A/C check up. They diagnosed the vehicle and said it was the compressor, paid a little over $1200 for parts and labor. Took the car home and 2 days later no A/C . Took back to the dealer and you guys checked again and said it was the condenser. But did not want to fix after they had fixed and replaced a compressor that didn’t need to be changed. I still don’t have A/C. I’ve thought about taking this to my local new station..

My husband and I decided to purchase a new SUV for our family. After much deliberation we settled on the GMC Acadia. I reached out and made contact with Roy. We discussed everything upfront from what we were looking for to finances. He even took a personal video of the SUV as we live 30min away from the dealership. When we arrived he was ready to do our appraisal on the trade-in and had the vehicle pulled up and ready for a test drive. We completed the credit application, discussed bringing the cashiers check for our down payment in a few days later, and were set to go! Very efficient and friendly. Next was Brandon (?) in finance. He was very friendly and great with our kids. Had crayons and papers ready to go for our son so we could sign the documents. 10/10 would go there for every purchase and service. They were amazing. Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Purchased a 2017 GMC Yukon Denali from this dealership in December 2020. I’ve purchased multiple Denalis without issue from other dealers and passed on the extended warranty. From that point the LED taillight needed to be replaced and then the compressor for the AC which when everything added up put me over $2K in repairs. Not happy but figure was maybe a fluke but now my car had a strange vibration. When I had it checked out discovered metal debris in the transmission pan and it was recommended that the transmission needed to be replaced. Unsure what this dealerships inspection protocol is but feels like it was not that thorough and was sold a lemon!

David was a great sales person to work with. No non sense and a smooth truck purchase. I have purchased several vehicles in my lifetime and this was by far the best car buying experience. I would recommend anyone buying a vehicle to come here. Go David!!

This was my second purchase at Yates. It was painless and I was there for only a couple hours as opposed to the entire day. I had the pleasure of working with Katelyn who had my pick waiting for me when I pulled up. And Pedro in finance was awesome. We all know how long the finance portion can take. I was in and out of his office in about 20 mins. I bought a 2022 Encore GX GT- an awesome vehicle.

Yesterday I had an appointment at 1pm. Brought my 2021 GMC Yukon Denali in for the first oil change. I sat for 2 hours and 22mins with kids. They DID NOT change my oil. Because they had none for diesels... Nicholas said all the GMC dealerships were out and he wasn’t sure when they would get more in. They took care of a recall and didn’t tell me until after the appointment that they had no oil. You would think they would know before the appointment or at least let me know. So i call GMC in North Scottsdale where i bought from and told him what happened. He said that is not true and they have oil. So for now on i will drive to north Scottsdale and they can have my business. I will not recommend Yates. Not having my oil change ruined my trip for fathers day weekend. Thanks for nothing. I could have went somewhere else. I would give you 0 stars if i could for the service department.

I recently came in for an oil change. I was greeted by Marlena Badilla and she advised me how long it would take to have my oil changed. She was friendly and courteous and kept me updated on the progress of my service. She advised me of some other minor things that needed to be replaced (air filter was one) and took care of those items as well. She was honest and trustworthy, which is hard to come by these days! She has excellent customer service! I will definitely be back because she has earned my business in the future.

3rd time I have had an appointment for service/oil change and 2nd time it has taken over 7 hours to get done. I wasted my ENTIRE day, again! After waiting for almost 3 hours before I got a ride home, then had no way to get an other errands done. What is the point in having an early a.m. appointment if its going to take all day! I am done. PLUS, I called for that appointment 2 days in advance and advised after the oil change I needed a new antenna housing to fix my broken one. Guess what....They didnt have a part, have to order it and expect me to come back in for another service appointment. NOPE, I will go without and listen to static before I come back again!
