Had two flats in the last week (I know, just my luck!) and both times I brought my tires here under warranty.The first time was a tire replacement (which even with warranty isn’t free apparently) and that took about 2.5 hours. The second tire was a simple plug and I’ve been sitting here for over 2 hours.If you want service definitely come before 4pm as they are way too busy after that.

Upset and extremely disappointed with some of the employees at this location. While my check in was fast and greeted by a wonderful lady outside (I had an appt)… my experience once inside was frustrating. I understand COVID pushed back a lot of manufacturing hence a back order on some tires. However, the employees here were no help. While their online said tires would arrive next day or within 1-5 business days, the employees mentioned it would take 30-90 days… for tires. They offered no options. They said their online system provides timeframes but once the order is placed the real time is provided. I asked for various options to see what route would get me a tire faster. At this point I didn’t care if I had to change brands and change all 4 out. I just needed tires (I only needed 1 but because they are staggered they recommend changing the matching two). Their only assistance was 10 business days at a minimum. I don’t know if they were having a bad day or really didn’t want to deal with calling around, I was there for almost two hours. I went to another Discount Tire location and was in and out within 40 minutes, I did have to change brands but tires will be here in two days. First and last time I ever go to this location.

I bought 4 new tires here and received excellent customer service. They were pretty busy but I wasnt there.an extended length of time considering. I would most definitely recommend this place and will return again for all my tire needs!

This place and company is nothing but a racket. Dont buy in to their name, discount tire because you wont get anything but discount cheap quality pay a hefty price for incompetent tires. Weve had nothing but problems every time weve used them. Their deceased founder/owner was a con artist of a charlatan. Dont believe the hype, youre better off going to Big O or a local shop around town.

Arrived 10 minutes early for a tire rotation and they had my vehicle back in the bay by my appointment time. Vehicle was done within a half hour and while I waited I got to sit in the air conditioned lobby. Great experience.

I stopped by the Goodyear store on West McDowell off Dysart to get air for my bicycle tires. A manager came to help me and was very courteous and helpful, made sure all my tires were inflated correctly. He also offered to help getting the bikes on and off my pick-up truck.It was pretty busy but he took the time to help me.

You guys are the best. I have super high standards when it comes to folks that work on my cars, and you meet them. Youre a little too busy at this location, but that isnt your fault, you should probably open another store since the area is growing so fast. Due to my knowledge of cars, friends and family ask me for recommendations all of the time. When it comes to tires, youre the only shop(s) on my list that I recommend.

More “corporate COVID-19 science” they make their customers stand in the hot parking lot while the attendant stands underneath a shade tent to check in. At 8:30am it is already 100° outside??!!

While I had to wait a while with an appointment, I was able to observe, from my vehicle parked by the shop doors, everyone doing their job. All the guys in the shop were working quickly and professionally. The inside guys managed the customers with courtesy and efficiency! The Manager of the shop was excellent at communicating with his workers and customers alike. So I didnt mind the wait. No one was slacking. Everyone was serving the customers as well as anyone could expect. I love these guys! They are always helpful and kind! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you!!

So I showed up at 1pm and 3 hours later my car still has not been pulled into the station. However, what they did do is let a woman who showed up AFTER me leave before me and we had the same problem. I was so confused as to how she left before me when I was there before her. When I asked management about it, they had nothing but excuses. The woman explicitly told me she had no appointment and pulled up like I did. However, I still have yet to been. These people are slower than slow. Service is horrible and wait times are outrageous.

Horrible customer service and communication. If you have a membership at Costco or Sam’s Club, do yourself a favor and avoid this place.I dropped a spare tire (donut specialty tire) for replacement. I followed up ever week to get an update snd was told they kept ordering the wrong size tire. After four weeks and no calls from them, I called again and was told it was ready and had been ready for five days.

The appointment system is a joke. I had a 330 appointment and showed up 15 minutes early, checked in my car and a hour and 15 minutes later my car was still sitting there with 2 other cars ahead of it. When I got there there was only 3 cars ahead of me. Talked to the guy and he said the appointment system is a window base system whatever that means and they are trying to do away with it. Wish I would have known that before wasting over a hr of my time could have been more though if I hadnt asked for my keys back

This place has always been great in the past. Now it is the just as easy to get a vaccine as it is to get a new tire. Make appointment online and have no plans for half a day and you also can get your tire fixed.

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is awful. They’ve cross threaded the lugs on my spacers on 2 different vehicles. I have been going to discount my entire life and I will no longer spend any money with them. I wish I could give zero stars. I am highly disappointed and angry with this place. Save your money, cause you’re going to need it when they screw up your lugs, and go somewhere else. Also, we had an appointment at 530, our vehicle wasn’t touched to well after 600. Go somewhere else DO NOT GO HERE.

This Discount Tire location made me come back twice to remove a 3.5 inch nail lodged inside of one tire. The first appointment took 3 hours for them to find nothing. After the same tire went flat again, it took them another 3 hours to finally find the nail. No apology was given, not even an excuse for wasting two entire afternoons of a regular work week. The manager was on site on both occasions. I was not a walk-in; scheduled my appointments at 1pm on both days. A workforce made up brain-damaged lemmings could have moved faster than this group. Especially on the second visit; the garage had 4 empty car ports right up until 4pm, when rush hour hit it. Never coming back to this location again. Overpaid and underworked group of slackers.

They are fast and very busy they had a line outside their door before opening and good prices.

Bad customer service. Purchased a tire and was told to just come on around 5pm next day after week to have it fitted. No appointment needed. Arrived at 445pm to be told I had to stay with my vehicle and it would not be ready till 645pm. I explained I was told no need to make appointment. No appointments on Fri an Saturday available.

Why make an appointment? The wait time with an appointment was well over and hour and a half for a simple balance and rotation.

I got a flat tire 45 miles from my home. I put on my spare on the roadside before I looked up the nearest discount tire. They replaced my tire, (it couldn’t be repaired). When I returned for my tire, at no point did they offer to put the wheel and tire back on my car, but they insisted to be so helpful as to load the tire into my trunk, leaving me to drive off on my donut. Not the service I’ve come to expect from discount tire.

They cross thread your lugs. This is the THIRD time it’s happened to me. Then they give you a voucher to go to another automotive shop to get it fixed. So after they break your stuff you have to go further out of your way and waste more time to try to get it fixed. Do not go to any discount, save yourself the time and hassle.

I have been here several times. Everything I have any interaction with this location there is some problem. Last time I brought them a tire from a trailer to be repaired, I was not in a huge hurry so we dropped it off. Four days later I hadnt heard from them, I called. The sales guy said they could not repair the tire because there was a staple in the tire with two punctures and it had to be replaced. After picking up the tire and actually looking at the tire there was actually only one puncture through the tire. the other did not actually go through the tire. Having previous experience with vehicles I patched the tire, mounted it and confirmed, only one puncture. Saved myself a tire. Last Friday I dropped one of my vehicles off for a tire rotation, they had it from 9 am to 6pm, for a rotation. Upon picking it up I noticed that they balanced the tires are well, normally I would be grateful. However the person that balanced the tires must have been extremely new because each tire had 6-8 weights 180° from each other. If you know physics you know this is not how you balance something. I called back and the store manager was too busy to take my call so the guy answered and said, drip it off again tomorrow and we will fix it. Really? waste 2 days for a rotate?

They were slammed when I had my appointment to fix a nail in my tire. Still only took them less than 30 minutes to fix and have me on my way.

Show up 1 hour before they open and still have to wait 2 hours to get my tires rotated? paid $1225 for new tires for my wives SUV made an appointment showed up 1 hour early and still had to wait 2 hours? Can i rate 0 stars? I am done with DD.

Not super happy about the long waits. Im usually not able to schedule ahead.They prioritize pre-set appointments which means long waits for something as simple as a flat repair, even if you show up before they open.I wont use Discount Tire again.

Not the worst experience at a tire shop but was far from the best. Told that it would be about 1.5 to 2 hour wait to get a new set of tires put on my car. The price was not horrible but it did take about 3.5 hours. I also had greasy palm prints all over my wheel wells when I got my car back. Just feel that the customer service needs some improvement.

A few weeks ago I had the unfortunately mishap of running over an object that popped my tire as I was leaving town to see my daughter. This occurred at 5:30 am. I was able to get drive to the nearest Discount Tire at Dysart and McDowell. While I was waiting for the store to open, I was able to get the attention of the manager Matt about a half hour early. He was able to assist me with a game plan. My tire was now a common tire and he said they had to get it from their warehouse in South Phoenix. He said worse case scenario would be 11am to have the tire and get be back on the road. He ended up getting the new tire to the store by 8:45 am. Unfortunately when they were going to put the new tire on, they found that the wheel was cracked by whatever I ran over. I could take my car as a replacement wheel was not readily available locally. The manager made many calls to find me a replacement wheel. He found one in Indiana, but couldnt be shipped for almost a week. I had to leave my car at the store. The manager and staff parked my car inside the garage each and every day until the new wheel came in an placed on my car. I was very grateful at the effort and care that Matt and staff took with my situation.

Called and spoke with Kyle who waited for me to return although the store had already closed. He was more than helpful and renewed my faith in this location. Thank you Kyle! Checked in early. Now 4:45pm still waiting. Talked to associate. Im next. Two cars later, I am still waiting. Talked to associate again. Car gets pulled in immediately. (Apparently a other Annes car was pulled in first. Probably because every Anne looks like me, drives the exact same car, and needing the exact same repair.). Finally tire is fixed and I am over a mile away when text is received. Apparently my vehicle is ready. Well now, theres a surprise. --- Note to self: This shop is total a waste of time. Dont go here!!!Friendly service, but always busy. Stopped by a few times to have the air in my tires checked. There was a long line with an even longer wait. Line also blocks the Fire Lane. Not sure who planned the layout, but it should be addressed.If youre in a hurry, this is not the place to come.(Update: Emailed them. No follow-up. Nothing has changed.)

Came in to fix a tire. Dont come on Monday towards the end of the day. Close at 6pm. Came in at 4:55 with my tire. Waited in line for about 5 min. tops. The time for the help did not take long smooth and simple. The wait time was about 1 hour and a half. They had 20 cars in front of me. No problem. Customer service was nice and willing to help. They do have bathrooms on the wall with posters. All the chairs have armrests on them. They have two exits for customers. At 6 they close one for new customers. Hope this helps.

Horrible wait times! Slow service when waiting to get air checked. Then once there they wouldnt air up my tire, bc it had only 10 lbs in it. They recommended a flat repair, but the wait is 4 hours minimum. Im 50 miles from home and they sent me away. What if I was in an accident after leaving there? Shouldve been called knuckleheads.

My wife purchased two new tires for our Buick vehicle Two months ago. The vehicle always notifies me win any of the tires are starting to get low in air.The other day it notifies me of a sudden AirDrop to 0 psi. I immediately pulled over and install the spare tire. I then had my wife drive back to the Goodyear discount tire store for a replacement. The sales man informed my wife that there were signs of the tire being driven on with no air and that he would not replace the tire unless we purchased and extended warranty for The previous purchased tires two months ago. Total cost of the extended warranty was $86.11. The tire failed within two months. They should’ve replaced it without gouging us for $86.11. Very disappointed. Discount tire= Discount service.

I drove up to a rep. outside Discount tire and I explained to him what I needed he said, go inside and talk to one of the rep.inside so I did. I walked in and there were 4 reps. on the phones I had on my mask and gloves, stood standing in front of Christian for 20 minutes waiting Patiently, he didnt even Acknowledge me. No one asked if I was being help, May I help you or are you being helped. So I walked out. Someone outside said, can I help you? I said, no not this DISCOUNT TIRE... So I went to another discount tire and spent my money there....

Check-in was very cordial,made you feelWelcome. All questions about tires wereanswered to my satisfaction. Clean on theinside, chairs were about 12ft apartSanitizer was available, the employeeswere very friendly & their prices werereasonable.

Theyre always friendly and will fix issues with your tires for free if they can. (Anything in the sidewall cant be fixed.)

Watching an employee walk through the door this morning obviously arriving for work and hear him tell the growing line that people will be there to help us as soon as possible was great. He then put down his bag logged into his computer and went right to work. The other employees there were very professional and very pleasant to converse with. I will say that my experience at Discount Tire was an 11 out of 10. I highly recommend this place. I hope they gave everyone there a raise at Christmas because these people deserve it.

Nothing more irrigating than being lied to! I called asking how long their wait would be to get a tire balance done without an appointment. Was told the wait was 45 mins. I asked if it were possible to hold a spot for me. The guy said sure. I made the 30 min drive from Estrella to be told the wait is 3.5 hours. The check-in kid suggested I come by at 8am instead. Ill try again in the morning since I really need it balanced. If successful Ill edit this review. Until then this business needs to work on its honesty.Edit: Went in early the next morning and got in fairly quickly. Unfortunately I was given a sales pitch after my car was on the lift for less than 10 seconds. Salesman stated my tire was shot and couldnt be balanced or repaired. Before the Salesman dove into his sales script to sell me four new tires (they dont have the brand), I asked to see them. I requested they try since Im here. Five minutes later a tech met with me and saw me off. Hmm... Five minutes for a tire repair?? All they did was check the air pressure and bolt torque, and called it a vibration check. Well no duh theres a vibration problem! Tires with cupping cause that! Thats why I brought it to you. Staying with one star because I got lied to twice in 24 hours, and got a sales pitch to go with it. What if I wasnt someone with the mechanical know-how?? This place seems shady and probably takes advantage of a lot of people. The small saving grace is the Salesman didnt charge me because he picked up on how irritated I was. I went to another tire shop for a second opinion, and hey were able to repair the small cupped area for a reasonable price. They said had Discount Tire unmounted the tire and actually looked, they would have seen the tire was repairable because it had very little ware. Wont be going to Discount Tire anymore!Second edit: It didnt help when Store Manager Joey had the stones to call me and get into the beginning of a chest bumping match. He called it coming to an understanding. Just...wow! He did a great job of digging their grave! Warned him I dont want to argue or Ill hang up, and he continued. Customers are ALWAYS right. Saying, you have to understand... implies more arguing. Not once did he admit to any fault or acknowledge what happened. If corporate is reading this, Id investigate this store!
