Just wanted to say Desert sage apt are out dated but nice, roaches never had that problem, not saying it wasnt a problem for may be you moved out were they where and will travel with you Ive been here for years change apartment and theres know serious problem the grounds are beautiful no bugs snake. But we could use handicapped enter everywhere

Old appliances that hardly work. washer and dryer ruin clothes. maintenance is useless, have to call the office to get them to come and they still don’t show up. office closes whenever they feel like it.

Its so sad that they dont care to upgrade these apartments, because they do have so much potential! Theyre infested with roaches, have old appliances that hardly work, maintenance is useless, and the list goes on. They let tenants live like animals. Theyre pretty gross actually... If the renovated, they would be such nice apartments. The location of them is the only good thing they have going for them.

Charged me over $4,000 in collections for this run down townhome! Do not move here. Will definitely be taking legal actions! I had to move due to military and they did not take that into accountability.

The front staff have always been pleasant (Star Im talking to you!), and the new maintenance man is great! He has addressed and taken care of all of our issues. The layout of our apartment is perfect, and the grounds are typically kept very clean. Never been in the pool, but people seem to enjoy it, and it always looks clean as well. Love that this complex is sort of tucked away, but still close enough to everything someone would need. Rent isnt great (is rent ever great?), but for the space it is worth it. Going on our second year here, and weve always felt safe no matter the time. They dont have a play area for kids, but there is one within walking distance in the neighborhood which we love. We had some spiders when we moved in a year ago, but no other bug problems since then. So happy we found this place. ❤️

I must say after being here for almost 9months, Ive only grown to love it even more. The staff is prompt and very courteous. Plus raising a 16yr old daughter in a safe community was my main concern when I chose to live here. Strongly recommended

We have lived here at Desert Sage going on 2 years in July... Our little Neighborhood is very quiet and lovely... We have had no issues during the time we have lived here, our small little community gets along well and our office staff is wonderful they do many BBQ throughout the year for our residents and their families to bring our neighbors and community closer together......We are very happy we found our hidden home at Desert Sage Luxury Apartments Homes!

Quiet neighborhood. Needs a lot of upgrades to be considered “luxury apartments”. Had some issues with maintenance (they take too long, and/or you have to keep reminding them about your repair order). A/C makes a LOT of noise and has a water leak, which we reported but they said that they couldn’t do anything because it was not broken. Neighbors are ok: there is police activity pretty often but other than that no issues.. Star is the best!!

I have lived at the Desert Sage Apartments now for five months and calling it Luxury is a stretch. However they are nice apartments and when I need something fixed they are always there that day or the next. The ladies in the office have always been very helpful and extremely nice and maintenance has been the same. I find it fairly quiet here but that is possibly because I live near the office.As far as apartments go this one is better than most.I have to amend my review of the Desert Sage Apartment from the last time I posted. I dropped it from four stars to three stars. I asked to have some ceiling fans replaced and was told there were never fans in the rooms I talked about. Now I am not an idiot so I can tell a factory cover from one that has been placed by maintenance. At this point they are lucky I didnt give them two stars.

I stayed in apartment 1071, overall my experience here was great until our lease was done. I had never been late on payment all year. About two months later, after our lease, I check my credit report and they are saying I owe them over $2,000!!! They claim I never turned in my 60 day notice that I was leaving. I have a physical copy of my 60 day notice, I even emailed them so I can have a paper trail showing I sent it. Anyways they thinks it’s okay to charge me for 2months rent, when I had moved out and turned off all utilities. Now I have to get a lawyer to get my issue resolved. Don’t make the same mistake I did, as well as others. I seen a review on here with someone else having the same issue I’m having.

Do not move here!Horrible they claim that my husband and I didnt give notice before our lease was up. I have the printed copy and I know i put it in there inbox saying that we will be moving out more than 60 days before our lease was up. my husband has a collections account because of them for $499. we have shown them paper work and also gone to the office to have Star and the short hispanic guy say that we had a dog that peed on the carpet, then when we told them that we didnt have a dog they go on to say that it was so bad that they had to fix it. Mind you we moved out in mid April. my husband got the account in collections in July we contacted them in November, here we are in January with nothing. I have search the A.R.S Codes and they have failed to provided us with a written itemized list after we moved out. almost a year later and still nothing from them.I repeat!! Do not move here! Even there main office in Scottsdale will not return your call and have this resolved.

This place is complete crap. They charge 1,200 a month for a two bedroom one bath, the bathroom is bigger than the master bedroom. I just recently moved out after 15 months. Took them almost 3 months to come unclog our bathtub drain. when i did my walk-through to sign the lease. there were so many issues, they never took care of any of them while i was there. Upon move out we paid $160 for carpet cleaning. Than i get a bill for almost $200 for carpet cleaning. Even upon signing the paperwork for moving out they said that if the carpets were not cleaned, that i would be charged $93 and now its up to $200. Save yourself the hassle do not move into the so called luxury apartments. They are complete crap.

Pros: Staff is helpful, maintenance helped me move large items upstairs, clean complex.Cons: Some lights out, pitch black areas such as around bbq, and the back entrance is only closed to vehicles. The lock is broken for the gate, saw a bum pushing a shopping cart through. I have security experience and recommend that area to be closed off to keep out shady people from Dysart.

Awesome staff always will there to help!!! Star is a great anchor to the office and unfortunately has to deal with a lot of mildly retarded people. The community manager is awesome too I had an ac issue there were some hiccups with the vendor and he was very apologetic and offered me the model the next morning my ac was fixed :) thanks to Will and maintenance. The new leasing agent Ujena who helped me get into my apartment is amazing as well. Desert Sage will be our home until we purchase a home

This place is complete garbage. The front office doesn’t fix anything for you, they basically ignore you until you go up there and start threading them with lawyers because they don’t follow their maintenance policy. I have lived here for 5 months with my children and it’s infested with roaches. Roaches are everywhere. The campus is dirty, tons of abandoned vehicles. When you move in they don’t even clean the apartment correctly, my friend also moved in two months after us and she is experiencing the same issues. The woman up front that lives on the site shows up to work in rags. Looks like she rolled out of bed. Absolutely unprofessional I don’t care what anyone says. My shower nob wasn’t working so my water was running and it took them 4 days to come fix it, he would walk me through steps over the phone and that’s it. Maintenance is suppose to come out and fix what is broken. I’m breaking my lease here. Yes they seem nice from the outside but you should also look about quality and how the management takes care of their leasees, they treat us like a trailer park. Don’t waste your time and money.

9 days man. 9 days and counting to email/fax a single sheet of paper. Jokes on them, Im calling 6 times a day from now on instead of 2. If you want anything done here youre gonna have to hound these people, I did an initial walkthrough way back and pointed out a nice long list of broken/dirty/dysfunctional things and they lost each list I handed them. I just dont know what to say to you if this doesnt make you completely flaccid toward this complex.

Great quiet place to live, lovely community, and a variety of different apartments to choose from.

This place is a joke! Staff, terrible. Star is the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my entire existence of being. She yelled at me over the phone because I kept asking what are they going to do about all the big dogs they overlooked. It says no large dogs over 30 pounds in the lease. Yet great danes, pit bulls etc are all there. We were attacked by the great dane. I had anxiety taking my small dogs out for a walk every time because of that. They did nothing to solve this dilemma of following their own rules after complaining to them for weeks. This place also had roaches which we were lied to by Monica the manager at the time. They charged us because we didnt clean the vents good enough. We left that place better then when we first got it and they still charged us. There was a guy who would beat his dog every day and I finally called the cops on him. There were always police cars for some reason or another. Ghetto ghetto ghetto. Once again STAR is the worst. Desert Sage gets ONE star or I would give them ZERO. She should have been fired she did this all in front of the new manager Michael and he did nothing to stop it. Calling it Luxury is a huge stretch. If you consider occasional roaches, black mold growing from every sink and toilet, old ugly appliances, cops every week, rude staff, luxury then please move here.

This place is crap. When the complex was first built years ago I wanted to live there but couldnt afford the pricing. Years later (after I got married & have a family) I was able to afford to live there. Now, I wish I never did. We had a 3 bedroom 2 bath by the pool. We had a neighbor above us who partied all night with drugs, drinking & loud music & during the day it sounded like a heard of elephants up there. We had neighbors with kids that would block our door outside with their toys so it was a toyzone just to get out the front door. People would park in our spot all the time, they raised our rent by $200.00 each month when our rent was only supposed to b $875.00 a month (it never was that much). We stayed about 3 months & bounced bcuz we couldnt afford that much money. We had 2 floods from the washer in the time we were there & numerous maintenance issues as well. Save time & cost. Dont move here.

Worst experience Ive had. The office staff is a complete joke, Monica is the office manager and honestly shouldnt be- her attitude is awful with no empathy and no desire to help fix any issues. Maintenance is awful as well, not reliable, and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS TO ANYONE!!!!

Loud parties outside with tents that go on into the night time. People playing music in PA speakers in the middle of the complex shaking windows and screaming children. Management says its allowed.

Where to start...well it is in a bad location next to the I-10. the management here is never constant, unless you count constantly changing, I have been here less than two years and seen at least six managers. Talk about a revolving door. On top of it all they do NOT care for any of the residents in the complex. They are here for your money, I have had one problem with payments and it did get paid within the month, but this time they are ready to evict everyone with even the smallest issues. The office wont help you if you get robbed or you have any other problems. people around are rude, they speed through the complex at all hours with the engine as load as possible and the office wont do anything to stop it. I can keep going forever with problems but I am sure you get the point do not rent here, you will F*** yourself over.

Place is a dump we had roaches when we moved in and constantly had exterminators in our apartment they never offered to move us in a new apartment. The office idiots do not care about you it was repulsive living there. DO NOT MOVE HERE! It is infested and they dont care if it is as long as they get there rent. Worst place to live in the west valley.

Managment is horrible and extremly rude. My roof leaked for a week before it was fixed and the fix didnt even last a year and started leaking again. My air conditioner went out as well and when I made an emergency maintenance call maintenance crew was mad that he had to fix it. Make sure you get everything in writing because staff is very incompetent and forget everything you tell them you will have fees for everything

The apartments are a mirage, a lie, a sham... But thats not the worst part. The office personal is hardly ever there, for instance. I have been standing outside the office for 30 minutes along side of other tenants at 11 in the morning and they open at 9, explain that. And another note, there are no cars parked in front of the office parking lot. The rent fluctuates, because of the utilities, water, trash, sewage, according management. I went from paying 835 to 900, thats wrong in so many ways. I always pay less on electric, than there utilities. Im really disappointed, specialy considering iv only been here for 3 months and got ways to go. And like the other reviews posted, this is a humble guys ( Truth ).

This place is a joke they failed to show proper paperwork that we asked for a few times on which they were adding additional fees for eletric whem we had aps account so rent was 803 this month was 1200 for extra fees for eletric the office ladys monica and star are lazy rude un professional goodluck trying to get aholf of them to talk to them is a nightmare appartment fell appart fast the highway is loud but most of all the managements amd maintenance is horrible

Nevermind the leaf blowers every day from 8am until 1pm. Nevermind the washer that was so unbalanced, the new neighbors came out to find what was taking their wall down, and made conversation impossible. Nevermind the 3 hours evacuated because of the drug lab that was discovered the next unit over. Its dealing with these people on a financial level that is IMPOSSIBLE. Is. I moved out almost a year ago, and Im STILL dealing with this place. The weekend I moved out and left state, the entire office staff took a three day weekend, and I was unable to get the final bill. I was told beforehand that my mother would be permitted to give them a check in my place, but when she tried, the woman in the office refused to tell her the final amount owed (she DID, however, take the keys). A week later, when I finally had a roof over my head and was able to unpack, I dug out my checkbook, and over-nighted a check to the office, which they apparently lost just long enough to incur a late fee. Which they neglected to tell me until I received a collections notice this morning for $217. I guess they have to pay for the guys with leaf blowers somehow.

Apartment complex stole my deposit. I have called them twice. They never returned my call. Funny, I have rented for over 20 years and this is the first time I had money stolen.

The worst place to rent in goodyear az. the people who work there do everything so that the end of the month the bill is much more expensive..crazy high! !!!! .. these women are robbing every last dollar to their tenants. They should be in jail for thieves and dishonest. I hate this place ... they say I still owe over a thousand dollars ..... why? I do not know ...not a good place to raise a familythe place is infested by ants and flys .. even though I cleaned the place was useless. I asked them to fix broken things in the apartment and they ignored my requests. I had to call them almost every day and make requests again .. it took at least a month to go fix the department ..the neighborhood always smells like marijuana, there is always a lot of noise at all hours of the day you hear the dogs barking, children crying and screaming ... people arguing, yelling, parties late into the night..really annoying place .. .really annoying neighbors! !!!!!!!Please never never rent in this place !!!!!!The worst place you can live ... one way or another they take you to the last dollar ... they tell you that you owe extra charges for everything ... the women who work there steal their tenants. They are thugs and very dishonest.There is always a smell of marijuana x everywhere, at all times there are very scandalous people ... dogs barking at dawn ... children crying and screaming ... noisy parties all night!
