Preys on out of state military homeowners—DO NOT USE - Zero stars!While in between renters, our property sat empty for three months. During this time, I searched online for rental listings for our house and could only find ONE which had no pictures. When were finally notified we had a tenant, we were expecting to recoup some income from the new tenants’ security deposit and first month’s rent. However, we then received SIX separate invoices for repairs that were “made” on our behalf totaling over $700 from the previous tenant: $160 for a “deep cleaning” of the entire house, $231 for installing mini blinds and removing food left behind by the previous tenant (I was told that a complete walk-through had been completed prior to the previous tenant’s departure) and $245 to rekey the locks on the 3 doors of our house, just to name a few. When I questioned Flagship on why I was never notified of any of these “repairs,” they replied that per the owners agreement, they only notify the owner if the individual repair exceeds $250. I went and paid one of the invoices directly to the vendor and called them to confirm they received it a week later. They told me they saw they had been paid twice, by me and by Flagship, and called to inform them of the error and were told to refund the amount back to Flagship, all while leaving it on my owners statement in hopes of charging me for it TWICE. After alerting them of their “error,” I was told that I would be refunded the proper amount on the next month’s statement. I received that statement today and there’s yet another vague invoice with no description of the supposed repair from a vendor I’m unable to identify or locate online that has the FULL AMOUNT of my proposed refund on it. 😡😡😡They advertise a 50% military discount on their leasing fee of $250 (which is charged every year btw, whether or not the tenant moves out or not), but after submitting the required documentation for the discount, I’ve yet to be credited or refunded.This is the shadiest, most dishonest business I have ever dealt with. With me stationed out of state, there’s not a whole lot I can do to verify any of these “repairs” or charges (I asked for pictures and have gotten nothing). Flagship knows this and continues to operate this way. Save yourself the frustration and use someone else!

We live out of state and had flagship manage our property. There was such a huge lack of communication and we were being charged for things that were supposed to go to the tenant. We finally got in touch with the tenant and found out that things were being double charged and invoices were being handwritten without specifics. Luckily, we were able to end our contract with them. Bad experience from both the tenant and owner end.

By far one of the best management companies around the area.
