I was clear out in Montrose with a damaged tire and I absolutely HAD to get home to Colorado Springs that evening. I actually called this store by mistake (I was advised to go to Grand Junction, which was closer to me than Glenwood Springs). But of course I didnt realize that right away.I spoke with Sam (the store manager) and he could not have been more helpful, professional, and kind! There was a whole big cluster about my existing tires and the warranty I had through another tire shop that didnt have locations out this way, but he found a solution for me and said he would make sure he got the tires on my SUV so I could get on the road later that day.I realized my mistake when I went to map the directions to the store, and called him right back and explained my mistake. So then he went above and beyond and called the Grand Junction store for me. He explained everything to Porter (a store manager there) so they would be ready for me as soon as I got there since it was getting close to when the store would be closing for the day.Unless I have another situation and happen to be in or near Grand Junction at the time, I wont have the occasion to use Sams store. But Ill tell you what - I would if I could! His assistance and helpfulness have made me a Discount Tire customer for life! And thats saying a lot, since my neighbor and a good friend of my deceased husband here in Colorado Springs is the manager of the tire shop I have been going to for 5 years, ever since I moved here.Thanks again, Sam!!!

The staff at this location went above and beyond for me today! Had a flat tire while traveling through and didnt get there until 10 minutes after closing, I wouldnt have been able to wait until the morning. Not only did they install a new tire quickly, they were all incredibly friendly, even though they had every reason to be grumpy since I kept them from going home on time. Thank you so much for saving my vacation!!

We were traveling across the country and noticed our tire pressure sensor light was on after leaving the hotel. We stopped at DT just as they we opening. They quickly found and repaired the problem (two screws in the rear tire). Quick and clean facilities and staff. There wasn’t a charge for the repairs! We are very happy!

Called this morning and made a 1pm appt. Arrived & they waited on me right away. Jorge was very kind and full of good information. Was out the door in 40 minutes. Safe for winter to arrive now.

This team did a great job. Friendly and professional. I had bought tires on Facebook and was driving through to Denver. They had me in and out in 90 minutes for less than a hundred bucks.

So I made an appointment online, drove 50 miles to have my brand new truck tires I bought online mounted and balanced on the factory 17”rims and was told by their sales rep that it would cost me $240 to mount and balance them and dispose of old tires since I didn’t buy them through Discount Tires. I told them every other shop is $120 and that includes the disposal fee. They handed me my keys and told me to go somewhere else then. Quite possibly the worst tire shop service I’ve dealt with in years. DT has now lost a customer for life and their competitor down the street BIG O got my business as well as ALL future business as they only charged me $110 for the SAME SERVICES I ASKED DT to perform!

Fast friendly service on a Saturday. Justin came right out to meet me and he was very polite.I asked him a few questions which he was helpful with and I felt he was being very honest with his inspection of my current tires. If there was something he couldnt answer he just told me that and said he would ask his manager and he did. I could have waited another 2000 miles or so but with the big winter storm coming I wanted full treads. They had the tires I requested in stock and did not try to pressure me into another choice or pressure me for the package tire warranty deal etc. Helpful, informative, fast and friendly. Pleased with my purchase.

Everyone I have dealt with at this Discount Tire has been very nice and helpful. They get me in and out of there quickly. I had a slow leak in a tire I didnt buy from them. They fixed it for free! Because of my great experience with them I purchased my new tires from this Discount Tire and just had them rotated for free. Excellent service!

I came in at 4 on a Saturday, they close at 5. I needed a new wheel in a pinch, I bought 4 new wheels with new TPMS for wifes Suburban. Jorge helped me and the team got it done by 430! Unbelievable! The work was done perfectly, balance is right on, no shakes. Super awesome experience and a great store for this large chain.

My husband and I were traveling from Denver to Rifle and caught a nail along our travels and ended up with a flat. We stopped in Glenwood Springs and called this discount to see if they could help us out. They got us in immediately and within 30 minutes back on the road. Thank you so much for helping us out!

At 5:30 on Saturday we noticed out tire pressure was really low. We stopped at a gas station to air it up and noticed there was a razor sticking out. We drove to discount tire and they were so good to us by getting us in before they closed at 6. I can’t express our gratitude enough. The tire was repaired and the employees were so friendly. Such a great experience!

Took van in for a flat and had to wait basically ALL day for them to get to it, and then the patch did not hold, had them order a replacement tire. Meanwhile got it patched at a place closer to me and that actually held better than the patch they did. Told replacement tire would take 3-5 days and when it was 9 days later we called only to find out they got the WRONG tire in and we had to wait even longer to get the correct tire. Finally get tire in and got appt to replace the tire and rotate/balance confirmed with female rep yet when we get there they only replaced tire and we had to INSIST they do what we were told would be done. Go to a Denver store this one has gone downhill and we have been coming there for 15yrs.

These guys are really Incompetent I have a volkwagon That has a key so you can get the tire off And these guys forgot to put it back with my spare so when I had a flat I couldn’t get the Tire off and they said that they had the key and called me about it but I never got a call or a message that they had my key to the tire lock.they could have sent me an email and could’ve got a hold of me that way. pretty lame

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I pulled in 15 minutes before closing with a flat tire. A girl came out and asked if if I’d like to buy a new tire. I said no I have new tires at home I’m putting on tomorrow. I just need a patch on existing tire or put on spare. We’re standing 10ft away from vehicle and she states it’s company policy not to put on tires over 10 years old. Not only did she not look at tire nor did she ask how old it was. So I said fine, can I borrow a Jack since mine is a pain to use. No is the answer. So I start changing my tire in the parking lot of a tire shop while there open with no customers because it’s either close to closing or just don’t care. Of course the spare tire won’t come down from the hanger it’s on. I ask if someone could just give me a hand and they look at me like I’m an alien until I offer cash to help out. Get tire down and fight with my Jack as all employees close up and leave. They have to walk right beside me to there cars. In every business I’ve worked in we would always help out a person in need no matter what. Here it’s total disregard for people unless your buying tires. Luckily a manager I believe, pulled in an hour after closing and asked if I was changing my own tire. Told him the story, he rolled in and grabbed a Jack and we had tire changed in 10 minutes. 1.5-2hrs waisted because they refused to help while open. They lost my business and every person I know and talk to for life.

I have been going to discount for a few years. I never leave there satisfied. This year I got my snow tires put on before the rush and one tire has been leaking ever since. They also put the tires on wrong, they mixed match the tires and put one good tire on front and on older tire on front. They couldn’t get me in unless I waited for hours. I am now at Big O in Glenwood, they got me right in and the good news is that the old crew that were awesome like Daniel, Hugo and more are back at Big O. I can officially say I will never go to discount tire again, thank Big O.

Hugely disappointing at this location. I bought some new tires on my truck and they ended up being one size too large. On full turn they rubbed. A safety issue! After trying to fix the issue myself I called and Mike told me that I could bring it in and they would measure the tires and prorate the wear and then I could trade them in for a smaller size and pay for the new install. I found that reasonable enough so FOUR days later I came in and they then tell me that I’m ONE DAY too late from being able to trade them in. They then offer me an insulting amount to trade the tires in (that still look brand new) and say that they are “used” tires now even though one day ago I could’ve just traded them like I was initially told I could do four days ago. Then he starts trying to sell me new wheels so the tires won’t rub. So bottom line, they don’t care about customer service here. Only money. I’ve used other locations before and have spent a ton of money with this company and usually it’s been great. Never at this location will I give another dollar. Very disappointing. I will go with Alpine Tire next time.

If you want it done right, DO NOT GO TO DISCOUNT TIRE. Recently we had two bad experiences with Discount Tire. First, my husband took his Jeep in the have the tires rotated. They balanced them (even though he said no balance) and rotated them. Prior to their balancing the Jeep rode perfect. After balancing it rode terrible. They also forgot to give the wheel lock back. The next day he had to drive 25 miles to get them rebalanced. Second, I took my Kia in to get new tires. Over the next day I realized the car shook. I made an appointment to have the tires rebalanced and took it in. Two hours later I left. Why make an appointment if it takes you two hours to balance tires? Never again. We are done with Discount Tire.

I recently had an excellent experience at Discount Tire in Glenwood Springs! Tanner was amazing. First, they price matched Costco tires that were ON SALE. They got me right in the same day we called. Their service was incredibly fast! As I watch the technicians, from afar, I witnessed them literally running back-and-forth to get the job done as quickly as possible. I was amazed as you don’t see that hustle in the workplace very often today. After they were done, I noticed right away, when I got up to highway speed, my balance was off. I went right back to their store. Even though it was six minutes past closing time, they got me back in and re-balanced my tires. Austin was incredible! He worked as fast as he could to remove all tires and check the balance. They were done within 20 minutes and everything was perfect. I could not more highly recommend these folks. They are incredibly friendly, fast and efficient, and their prices are outstanding. Thank you for a really great experience Discount Tire in Glenwood Springs!

My husband and I were traveling from Austin Texas to Leadville Colorado when we got a flat tire which also punctured our rim. Our rim type was sold out in all of Colorado and New Mexico and we thought we were going to have to drive home on a spare. Fortunately we were directed to the fine people at Discount Tire Glenwood Springs who took the time to help us out. They fixed us up quickly and we made it safely back to Austin just as planned. Thank you Sam and everyone who helped us out, we cannot thank you enough!!!!

Really, he went above and beyond the call of duty, AND did it cheerfully and knowledgeably. Very disappointed with this location. Went in for a tire patch was told they could service my truck in half an hour. 2 hours later they have pulled in 6 different cars causing me to miss my flight in denver. Never coming here again.

Have been taking my vehicles to Discount in Ft Collins for 20 years and always received good service. While traveling to Glenwood Springs I got a flat and the Discount folks here treated me like gold, fixed my tire, and would not charge me. Ill see you for another 20 years!

They sold me bigger tires than I needed and now I cant drive my car untill I get the tires I actually asked for.

I have to give huge kudos to a genuinely conscientious stand up guy. He was polite, respectful and kept his word. He is Sr. Asst. manager: Sam Ferguson at Discount Tire in Glenwood Springs. I had winter tires installed there in September. The installation crew damaged my black painted rims. I informed Sam of the damage; and he was totally on board with accepting full responsibility for his crews damage (rare in this age of total denial). He followed up regularly with me via phone as he: 1) found BRAND NEW OEM identical rims in Denver, 2) Had those new rims powder coated matte black (more expensive than painting a rim, 3) Had those rims shipped to his store, and 4) had his crew lovingly install the new rims and winter tires from the old damaged rims. All of this took about 2 weeks, but Sam was on it the whole way. As I told him: he turned a negative situation into a positive one by going above and beyond! I have new powder coated black matte rims and I am very happy!!!

We suffered a tire blow-out while traveling West-Bound through Glenwood Canyon. We had to drive six miles on a run-flat tire, and pulled into the Discount Tire 10 minutes before closing. They knew exactly what we needed, told us to get a hotel for the night, called us first thing in the morning when the new tire arrived, and had a team ready for us when we pulled in to replace the ruined tire so we could get back on the road heading home to Utah. They were amazing, and professional, courteous, helpful, and we would definitely recommend them.

Bought a set of tires there so free rotation. Call the night before to make an appointment “we work by appointment only now during COVID-19”. Ok that’s why I’m calling. Also I need the front left TPMS valve replaced because it stops working after I drive thecar for approximately 20 minutes. “Ok, we have those in stock and I’ll make a note to replace it”.Next day, show up as scheduled. No appointment necessary, whatever. Explain to someone new about how the valve stops transmitting after 20 minutes and I want it replaced, oh by the way I told Erin all this last night when I made the appointment. “Ok we’ll check it out and call you”. Never call. After one hour I show back up. The car’s sitting in the finished section of the lot. Who knows long it’s been there. “Yeah we checked the monitors and they were all working”. I know THAT! The front left quits after it warms up. So you didn’t replace it. Nope.So listening to the customer and following a policy for appointments is not a required skill when you work at Discount Tire?

Cross threaded stud on my 2002 Durango with 67,000 miles. Sent me out the door and not a word about it. Of course I always inspect work that is done. Caught it before I left the parking lot.

A few years ago my husband and I went in and they wouldn’t put tires on my car because they had uneven wear. They did urge me to buy new tires.I went to another local shop and they said the tires were fine but were too busy to install. Another local mechanic said the tires were fine and installed them, the tires worked great.I started buying my tires online and going to my local mechanic. This year, in a rush to get two winter tires mounted I went to (Discount) because they are first come first serve. They wouldn’t install the two tires because I didn’t buy them there. They offered to sell me new tires.This attitude of these big box tire stores is crazy. All they care about is the dollar and selling overpriced tires.

Horrible!! Went in for a replacement tire because I had a broken belt. They made a quote for one mounted and balanced at $113. When I arrived, they refused to put the tire on the vehicle and wanted me to buy 2 new tires. Then they would put them on. Also said they dont sell used, but suddenly tried to sell me 2 used tires that werent the right size. They wasted my whole day!! And still no new tire. I am from out of state and they claimed they would only install certain tires due to safety, but now they didnt fix a safety concern and Ill be going back to South Dakota without a spare. They are all about the money and dont truly care about driver safety. They just needed to put a new tire on a rim. Not even installed on the vehicle!! Ill never go back and Ill tell my friends to stay away! Wasted an entire day of my vacation. Dont go here!!

Great experience. We had a flat tire on the way to Glenwood 2 days ago and did not want to drive back the next day without a spare. They got the tire we needed the next day on time and were incredibly fast on service. Nice and polite as well.

GREAT service! Ive known I needed new tires for a little while but hadnt really looked at how badly I needed them until a few days ago. With a pending road trip coming up, I realized getting new tires was at the VERY top of my priority list. The guys at Discount worked with me to get the tires ordered quickly and mounted ASAP so I can hit the road. Ive never had a bad experience with them and this just further drives home how awesome they are! Wont shop anywhere else for tires!

Came here to have a valve stem replaced. The bead ripped while they were taking it off and they replaced the tire at no cost to us. The guys were very honest and took care of something that may not have been entirely their fault. Great customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

Just had my new John Deer lawn mower tires mounted which cost $130!! I have done alot of business with this store and ended up paying MORE to get the tires mounted than I paid for the tires themselves. Big O charges $12 a tire to mount, so do the math, I did and they wont get another chance to RIP me off. I like Discount Tires so I will be returning to Grand Junction and they will get all my business.

Replaced tire for pretty cheap but tried to swindle my old tire if I hadn’t have asked for it back.

After spending four hours in a infinite loop trying to call this location to get a tire we had ordered from them replaced. We finally got to speak to a real person who hung up on us. Then when we dropped of the vehicle they told us it would be done by noon. When I arrived at 5:30 it hadn’t even been touched. They claimed to not have known any information about what needed to be done even though my husband had spoken to them in the morning and given them all the details. Anyone hear of a phone at this location? Apparently not. They have lost our business for good. I advise extreme caution.

We drive up and check in with an employee, and parked and waited for like 10 minutes, however other customers drove up and parked after me and got service right away, don’t think that was very nice and fair. Two employees went right away to their car while we were still in our car waiting.

Best experience I’ve ever had! The guys here were so nice and helpful and got me in same day to get a new set of tires (popped one on a rock)! Then later that day I managed to hit a pothole and pop one of my brand new tires!! (I have horrible luck apparently) I showed up 5 minutes after they were supposed to close and they still helped me out and got me on my way! So happy I went here!!

I don’t usually make a note to write reviews, but this is the second time I have felt compelled to do so for discount tire in Glenwood. The first time, they were fast and friendly, no complaints. Then today I went in with a torn side wall. They were quite busy and quoted me 2 hours to repair under warranty. I left the tire and went to run errands. No more than 20 minutes later I get a text saying they’re done. I go pick up my tire and as I’m loading it in to go find a parking lot to swap the spare, one of the employees has me pull over to the end of the garage and he puts it on quickly. Stand up act on a busy day. Thanks again. I’ll be back for sure.

I purchased my snow tires from them last winter and recently came back to replace my regular all season tires. Great customer service and quick turnaround time. Very satisfied and will continue to use Discount Tire in Glenwood.

Poor customer service. Not from the area but everyone here was extremely rude. Waited over 2 hours to fix 1 tire. Jorge the worker there snatched the keys out of my hand very abruptly and physical. rest of the staff was really disrespectful and rude.

My wife and I had a flat while traveling to Denver and needed to have a new tire put on. We stopped at the discount tire in Glenwood and had a wonderful experience. We had our two Labrador retrievers with us and forgot their leashes at home. The employees at this store even took good care of our dogs! Would recommend.

I was coming from a considerable distance so I made an appointment well in advance to make sure the tires I wanted would be there. On a very busy day for them they were still ready for me and I was in and out in a half hour. Staff was friendly and efficient with everyone I saw.

We stopped by here when I got a surprise flat tire on a road trip, and the service was absolutely outstanding. I have absolutely never been treated so well at any kind of car repair shop before. Michael in particular was extremely helpful. I wish I lived nearby so I could come here every time I needed tires. Would give more stars if I could!!

Ive been a fan of Discount Tire for the longest time. Bought tires for at least 15 vehicles. I was excited when they finally opened a store in Glenwood Springs. There were issues with a tire repair taking too long to happen. I was happy I had the warranties as the tire had to be replaced. While I had to drive on the spare for almost a week, as soon as the replacement showed up, I was called and DT quickly did the replacement.

TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE from the employees of this store. Planned a weekend in Glenwood Springs and had a blow out on the way up there. Limped up on a doughnut spare. Called numerous tires stores on our way only to be told they were either to busy to help or didnt have the tires to fit my Mini Cooper. Found out a Discount Tire just opened in Glenwood. Called the store at 5:57 on a Friday when they closed at 6:00. Wasnt hopeful at all as we were just pulling into Glenwood. Josh told us to come on over. He met us at our car as we pulled in and was able to find a tire that would work for my car with the help from the assistant manager Paul. We then realized that not only was the one tire bad we really needed all new tires. So, they were able to give us a great deal on 4 new tires and we were out the door in 30 minutes The men in the shop were all working together to get us on our way. The whole team is EXCEPTIONAL and we will make weekend trips up there with our other cars to get tires from them. Worth the trip and why not spend a weekend in Glenwood!!!

So, we were on a road trip and were staying in town. We needed 4 new tires to adequately handle some of the gravel roads we would encounter in Utah and they were a bit overworn.The gentleman who helped my husband was very helpful. He even called up the credit company to find his account number so we could get the financing they offer. Husband didnt think hed need to tote that along. We really appreciated that level of customer service. The tire replacement was done fast too so it didnt take too much time from our trip. Thanks guys! We had peace of mind after that.

Worst Discount Tire Ever. I went in for a simple tire rotation and they snapped a lug bolt on my Toyota and basically refused to help me get it fixed since I was from out of town (they do not repair such items). It cost me $150 to get it fixed elsewhere. Also the tire rotation was either never done or done badly so I had to get it done again!

Very helpful and transparent with the charges. Our sales associate compared features of similar tires and let us decide what was best for our needs. No high pressure sales. Quick service and brought my car to me when done.

Nice new facility and some staff seem eager to help. I will say that the two times that I have gone with my three vehicles I have had to bring back two vehicles because the tires were not balanced. I usually give a place 2 to 3 tries before I move on. Will be back and if this continues than Walmart does the same but I didnt have to go back to have the tires balanced. (Yes I asked for balancing)

Id gone in planning to purchase cheap tires given money constraints, but they actually have a computer program/website to compare tires according to performance and the man I worked with spent prob 10 minutes helping me find the right tires that were safe and would last but werent too expensive. The wait was a bit long but I went on a Sat and they were very busy, understandably. I will be goong here fore my tire needs from here on out. Highly reccommend!
