Im 64 years old and I have never been to a better dentist- Dr Thomas mack one of the best experiences Ive ever had in my entire life! There a good group of family Christian people and I just really LOVE him so MUCH! I TRUST them with all of my HEART and everything that they do!!!

The X-ray technician was very friendly & competent, the dental hygienist extremely knowledgeable and the facility state of the art as well as clean & beautiful. Ive been going to see Dr. Mack since 2000. His staff has always been kind, thorough, and personable. They always remember what Im doing with my life, even though I would only go in every six months for cleanings. They really value their patients and it shows.Dr. Mack is also a fantastic dentist. He is always on the cutting edge of any new dental procedure and Ive never ever had an issue after a filling or any other dental work.

I have been terrified of going to the dentist my entire life. While my fear still exists, Dr Mack does everything he can to calm my nerves, hes patient & incredibly kind. He explains what hes doing & why and I have complete confidence in his ability. I could be a better, more regular patient, but every time I do show up, he always treats me like he saw me yesterday, no judgments on me. I was a patient there for around 15 years but about 5 years ago there was a change in the front office. Since then I’ve had a couple issues with them not canceling my appointments even though they apologized and said they’d remove the extra fees. Recently they were so booked up they asked me to change my appointment and because I had to work they changed me a no show fee of 100$!! I didn’t even get my usual text appointment reminders of they day they said I had the appointment...I told them I’m going to a new dentist and they mailed me a bill of 200$!!🤣🤣

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Thomas and his incredible staff! After moving to Arizona from California I jumped around from dentist to dentist trying to find one that I trusted and liked. They are on time with their appointments and so gentle. They truly care about their patients and them leaving happy and comfortable.

From the moment you walk into North Canyon Dentistry you feel at home. The office is very cozy (they even have cookies, coffee, and other refreshments available in the waiting room!). The front office staff is professional and efficient. The hygienists and assistants are also kind and caring. Dr. Mack is a thorough dentist and all of my dental procedures have been comfortable and stress-free. The office and equipment seem to be state of the art and high tech. At North Canyon Dentistry you have the option of watching television or movies during your procedures, which is a nice distraction. They also offer headphones to drown out the noise of the procedure. I have been going to Dr. Mack for about two years now and Ill definitely keep coming back!

We have been going to Dr. Mack for 20+ years and continue to go to him for our dental needs. He makes you feel comfortable, is professional, courteous, and always makes you laugh. The only reason we gave 4/5 stars is due to several instances throughout our experience where staff members were unfriendly and the high turnover rate of staff members. We would recommend Dr. Mack!

Our family have been going to Dr. Mack for over 10 years. He is a wonderful dentist and his staff is the best. They thoroughly explain all procedures that will be done and make sure the patient understands why it is necessary. I have had many crowns done in his office and it is one-stop procedure. I can watch movies or TV, or listen to music, while the procedures are done, or while waiting for my porcelain tooth to be made. This is a benefit to anyone who has a busy schedule--no multiple visits. Dr. Mack is kind enough to call in the evening of each procedure to make sure we are fine and not in pain. Another terrific benefit for kids is he has an outer space room where he works on kids. We have been extremely happy with Dr. Mack and his staff and cannot recommend him highly enough.

I love this place! They know each and every one of my family members by name. Theyre always accommodating and never try 2 do more work than is needed. They always make us feel so comfortable. The office is beautiful, the staff is knowledgeable, and they are almost always on time with the appointments. We never have to wait very long. They make going to the dentist easy.

5 stars for a dentist? Are you kidding? Nope. Our family had been to several dentists before running across North Canyon several (many? I forgot...) years ago. Im not an expert in dentistry by any means, but even I could tell that Dr. Macks work was better than any of the ones wed been to before. I have complete confidence in him.Also its apparent that Autumn, who does the semi-annual tune-up on my teeth, knows what shes doing.The staff is great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and will gladly work with you if you have insurance issues, appointment conflicts, etc.Highly recommended.

July 2020 Addition:I recently returned to North Canyon Dentistry for some additional work. As always, Im impressed and pleased with the quality of care and the skill of Dr. Mack. With everything that is going on, I was also very impressed by the safety precautions that have been put in place.I was nervous about seeing a dentist with the pandemic going on. Looking at the social media for the office, there were a number of posts about changes being made to air filtration and sanitation. They were all in place while I was there and set me at ease. Radios communicate traffic in the hallways so that people arent near each other. Each room is isolated. Multiple levels of air filtration are running. The staff has also upper their game with protective equipment.I had fractured a tooth and was nervous that it would need to be pulled. Ive been a patient for 25 years and Dr. Mack has never let me down. In my case, he was able to find a way to address the crack, repair some of the damage, and close the work with a crown instead of needing an extraction/implant. He is really skilled and I cant say enough about the quality of his work.I chose to have the crown created in the office so that it was a single visit. Serena did the modeling, detailing, and creation of the crown. She got it basically perfect immediately and it required very little adjusting to have the perfect fit. I had only heard them speak of the damaged tooth by its number. When everything was done, I saw myself in the mirror and had to question which one was repaired. I literally looked like when I had walked in. The crown fits great and after a few days of healing, I have no pain or irritation.I cannot recommend this place enough. I have bad teeth and hate going to the dentist as theres always something new to fix. Dr. Mack has kept me coming back for decades with his constant use of new technology, fun and awesome patient interaction, and most importantly, the skill which he displays when fixing my dental problems.Original:Ive been going to North Canyon Dentistry since 1996 and cannot say enough good things about everyone there. The office is beautiful and the staff is always incredibly friendly. Dr. Mack is a phenomenal dentist and the only one that I will trust to perform any dental work on me. Dr. Mack and his staff are always very welcoming! Ive been coming here ever since I was in high school and I will never look for another dentist. Dr. Mack is as gentle as he can get and explains everything to you before he begins his procedures. Not only does he do basic dental procedures, he even took out my wisdom teeth without me having to go to a surgery center. The exam rooms are always clean and you can even enjoy movies, tv, or listen to music while your teeth are being worked on. Going to the dentist is as enjoyable as it gets with North Canyon Dentistry!

I LOVE Dr Mack and his staff...they are all awesome!!! I honestly cant say enough good things about them!! They make going to the Dentist a pleasant experience; I never thought that was possible! I love that they can complete a crown all in the same day, not with a temporary crown, but with the real crown that is made precisely for you with the newest technology!! While you wait you can put on a set of headphones and watch a movie. :) The office is beautiful and relaxing! I assure you, you wont be disappointed when you go see Dr Mack!

Ive been going here for years and the staff have always been friendly and remember who you are. Dr. Mack also goes so far as to personally call the evening after major procedures to ensure that you are doing well.The office has great options for keeping you entertained during long procedures, such as listening to music or watching movies. They also stay up to date with the newest dental procedures. I got to enjoy this as I just recently watched a movie while they scanned my mouth, designed and milled my crown and then had it put in place all in one visit.I cant recommend them enough.

Dr. Mack has a wonderful staff, nice clean office, and GREAT equipment to help assist him. Dr. Mack and his team are number one in my book! From the time I walk in and hear some of my favorite Contemporary Christian music playing on the background music system to the available water, coffee and cookies (yes, cookies in a dentist office!) to the inspirational reading materials in the waiting room (not that I have ever spent much time in the waiting room) to the warm greeting I receive, they do everything possible to put ones mind at ease and instill a spirit of calm into what otherwise could be an anxiety and fear-fraught experience. The staff all seems to operate as one, with the patients comfort foremost in their minds, which is evident in the caring attitudes they all exude. Dr. Mack is wonderful and, while I appreciate his humor, his no-nonsense way of explaining exactly what is going to happen in a way I can understand it is just great. Because I am a Christian also, I really appreciate that he prays with me before beginning the treatment. The icing on the cake is watching my favorite news channel (Fox News) on the big-screen TV in the treatment cubicle while getting numb, and even while being worked on (yes, they have another screen on the ceiling so you can see it while you are leaned back - and they provide earphones so you can hear as well!). North Canyon Dentistry is by far the BEST dentist office I have ever been to! They are not the least expensive dental office in the valley, but I feel that the treatment I receive is well worth it. (And I am a private pay patient, so that is saying a lot since it comes out of my own pocket!) I will be a lifelong patient of Dr. Mack.

This is by far the best dentistry Ive ever been to! Recently, I had to get additional work done on my teeth. Instead of having to come back for multiple visits, they are able to do all of the work in-office (onlay, crown, and root canal) and they made my new porcelain tooth during the visit as well! I had some concerns about the recent work; Dr. Mack and his staff took the time to explain what was happening, ways to prevent further issues, and discuss options to make future visits more comfortable. I also thought I might have another issue with a different tooth. He took the time to take an x-ray and review it just to reassure me that there was nothing wrong.If you want a thorough, knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly dentistry, I highly recommend coming to see Dr. Mack and his staff!

I am like most people who HATE the Dentist!! That was until a coworker told me about her Dentist, Dr Mack. Ill admit, it took me a few months to make the appointment, but the office staffs so sweet & Loving, then when Dr Mack came in the office and he took the time to listen to my fears and understand how I dislike being here, he made my visit and the procedure so much easier by having TVs on the walls & Ceiling (YES!! LOVE IT!!) To wireless headphones so I can listen to the movie and not the sound of the drill. Thank You Dr Mack & North Canyon Dentistry for everything!!

Dr Tom is a great dentist. He relieves your fears with humor and many distraction devices are available. TV, Music, & Movies. He always makes sure you are comfortable and numb before starting work. Most of all I like that he prays for his patients. He is sensitive and caring and always takes time to explain everything.

Let me be the first to say I am NOT one to love a dentist. I have had plenty of them and my experiences have been horrible to say the least. However, I LOVE DR. MACK and HIS STAFF.I have had a lot of extensive work done at North Canyon Dentistry (i.e. root canals, implant recap, wisdom teeth removal, and ordinary fillings) in addition to regular cleanings. But no matter how big or how little the job was, their number one concern was that I was 100% comfortable. They made sure I was comfortable in my chair where I watched movies or cable while the work was being done. They made sure I was comfortable with what was being done and why it was important to get the work done (education). And lastly, and most importantly to me, was making sure I had ZERO pain or discomfort during the process and after the procedures were completed. In addition, to all the above, after all my procedures other than a regular dental cleaning, I ALWAYS received a personal call from Dr. Mack to check on me and ask how I was doing that very same evening.I dont write reviews. But I have no problem writing this one because North Canyon Dentistry practice and Dr. Mack enjoy what they do and appreciate their patients to the fullest and it shows every time I walk in the door.

Doctor Mack and all of his staff at North Canyon Dentistry will provide you with the best, most professional, cleanest, most comfortable, and most up-to-date dental experience you have ever had, or that is even available. Dr Mack and the entire office staff is AWESOME!! We started going about 14 years ago because the pediatric dentist couldnt handle my child who has HF Autism. Dr Mack and staff took the time to work with my son and get him to feel comfortable. They let him set the pace. They have been so wonderful in the care of my daughter, hubby, and me. I cant say enough about how wonderful they are.

Autumn is a great hygienist. She caught things early that could have been a problem later. Dr. Mack is just the best dentist Ive ever had! Not only did he do some pretty extensive restoration for me, he also corrected the work done by previous dental providers. Great work!!!

I was unhappy with my previous dentist because I felt he just wanted to ring up my bill as high as possible at every visit. I switched to Dr. Mack after reading all the glowing reviews and am glad I switched. Dr. Mack and his staff made me feel very welcome and, I believe, have my best dental health as top priority. I will recommend them to those who ask.

To keep it short, I would not recommend this office. They did not verify with our insurance before billing, even after assuring me they would. Which left me with a nice bill to pay out-of-pocket. After speaking with my insurance I discovered they never called my insurance during the entire process. The worst of it all, during my husbands visit he was shown a treatment plan for six fillings he apparently needed done, according to the dentist. After getting a second opinion my husband didnt need any fillings at all. It was an extremely untrustworthy experience to say the least.....Since this incident in 2017 North Canyon Dentistry has contacted me claiming they reached out to my insurance company. From this they claimed to have discovered my insurance plan was not valid in the state of Arizona. This claim is highly offensive considering I have used the insurance at a pediatric dental office in Glendale, AZ and a general dental office. Be cautious with this office their style of business is questionable. Not once was I treated like a customer during this issue.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Macks office for several years now after being referred by a friend. We have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and Dr. Mack. They work very hard to make your dental experience as pleasant as possible and affordable. I have referred several other people to this office, because I feel it is the best!

Dr Mack is tops, in my book. The staff at North Canyon Dentistry are always helpful both in the office and on the phone. Carla, the dental hygienist takes her time with you and does a excellent job. If you are in need of a dentist, I highly recommend North Canyon Dentistry!

Dr Tom Mack and his staff are very profesional and good at what they do. From the time you walk into the front door until the time you leave their offices, you feel welcomed into a very warm and friendly atmosphere where your care, comfort, and dental needs are their 1st and formost concern. They have been serving my family for 12+ years. The care has been top notch all the way and we have never had an issue that they havent taken care of in a expedient, and profesional way that has been to our satisfaction. North Canyon Dentistry has been a blessing and Dr Tom is not only the best dentist I have ever had but he is also a very trustworthy man.
