Went to this establishment today for a gel manicure and a pedicure. Did not have an appointment so it took over 2 hours. During the gel manicure, the nail tech (who was the manager on duty), clipped the skin on my finger and it started bleeding. This happened on two fingers before I ask him to stop using his cuticle clippers. He applied Neosporin several times while completing my manicure because it was bleeding. To be honest, it still hurts. When I went to pay, I asked if there would be a discount for the pedicure that left me injured. He said, “I’ll give you five dollars off.” I said we wouldn’t be coming to this establishment if that was as good as he could do. He proceeded to throw my debit card on the counter and say, “How much do you want to pay then?” At that point, I just needed to get out of there so I payed him and left. I do not recommend this establishment and wouldn’t send my worst enemy there.

Do NOT get your nails here especially if you want a design, i showed the nail artist the photo of the bunny because i thought it was a simple design to do, he didnt use the polish colour i wanted, and butchered the design. when my sister in law asked him to redo it he drilled my nails so harshly i started crying from the pain. i asked him to just do white instead of the design and he did it very quickly and seemed so angry. it was very unprofessional and i wont be coming here again

This was my first time here, I have been trying multiple nail salons in the area for the past few months to find the one, and I think i did!! Angel took an awesome care of me, she is very organized and takes her time. I got Mani Pedi done and i love my nails. Definitely coming back

Dylan is great! His nail art is superb and his nails never lift.

They do a good job but occasionally I get that feeling that the workers talk about people in Vietnamese. Wish I could understand them.

I’m not from this area and had an appointment at EWC, next door. The girls their recommended Dylan, who I ended up having for a full set acrylics. They are the best I’ve had, nice narrow and thin! I HIGHLY recommend. I’ve gotten my nails done all over the country and this place is excellent! Also got the deluxe pedicure which was also wonderful!!

After a particularly poor experience with a previous salon I had frequented for several years, I decided to try Avalon Nails. Not knowing any of the technicians, I was assigned to Dylan. I was totally excited in the way this gentleman worked with me.PatientGentleCleanProfessionalHe did exactly what I asked for and I felt welcomed by him. He will be my requested technician from now on and I look forward to seeing him every 2 weeks for the foreseeable future!BTW: I found the salon to be exceptionally clean and bright and have no qualms regarding sanitation here and their pricing is competitive!

There are a lot of better places for better prices in this neighborhood. So unorganized, poor customer service. Our nails turned out nice but thats the least I expected. They should respect customers we are the reason they are in business.

We have been here two times. The first time they started working on my daughter and I didn’t realize but the tools weren’t sterilized. When they began to work on me I noticed they washed the tools they had just used on the person before me. I asked if their tools were sterilized. The tech said oh no I just washed the tools. I asked for a sterile set. And today we went back...they remembered us and pulled out clean sets but at the end one of the techs put those same tools back in the plastic blue bag and placed them in his drawer 😕 . We will not return

From the beginning, these people were unprofessional. I was not greeted, yet I had to walk up to the receptionist and let her know I am waiting. I asked her about how long the wait is and she said she would let me know but she never did. I assumed it would be about 20-30min since there was only 1 person in front of me. While waiting not 1, not 2 people were sat down before me but 5! I asked the lady why that was and all she said was sorry. I decided that waiting over an hour was enough and left.

I went to get the powder dip SNS nails. First time here and I have to say...BEST BEST. Salon ever. People are friendly, customer service is a 10. Best of all DYLAN did my nails and he did a spectacular job. Best nails I have ever had. My new place.. pluses it’s beautiful and clean. Pedicure was great also .

Horrible service! This was the first time I went. I made an apt and showed up a little before. They did take me to a chair and left me there for a bit. I waited, then they filled it with water for my feet to soak and then left. I waited for awhile. Another customer came in and they started her service right away. The lady even doing her nails told me she had an apt. Well so did I! I ended up leaving. Will never go back.

Came in for the first time today. Absolutely love it! My mom and daughter got great pedicures and my nails came out perfect! Such friendly staff and a beautiful nail salon!

It depends on which technician have. Theres a couple technicians that are absolutely amazing the men and the lady who sits in the 3rd chair by the register. The others the ones that are doing your toes usually a very sweet and nice but the couple of ladies that sit some of the other chairs are absolutely rude. You ask for service, you call you get your pricing, when you get there its not the same pricing they up charge you an up charge you in up charge you. Then when you ask them to do what you want them to do and make them shaped and look a certain way they change it they dont do it how you like it a try to make you feel like they know better than you do how your nails her look. The appointments you can call trying an appointment they say you have none, half the time you do half the time you dont. you get there and they like all know this that and the other thing and you have to wait people come and go sometimes ann you wait you wait an hour or 2 hours they dont even acknowlege you. sometimes you just sit there in your waiting not like Oh its gonna be another hour or your next or acknowledging you at all. Its sad because theres a couple people there who are the best. they charge exactly what they say theyre gonna charge and do an amazing job shaping your nails are doing your toes and theyre so polite. but the others they make it hard to go in-and-out make it so that you have a hard time seeing the ones that you want or the people that are nice.I would give some of the staff a 5 pluss, and the others a 1.Ver expensive and very difficult to work with. it 💔because theres one lady and one guy who are completely amazing.shes the the third chair in. the guys are great!!!

Avalon nail salon in Glendale has the best nail techs! They are kind and efficient. In addition, My daughters nails look amazing. I Absolutely will be back.

I Became Invisible at Avalon Nails.I want to start by saying that my wife and my mother in law both like this place and I, my self have been there a couple of times. I the past our experience have been decent nothing out of the ordinary but good enough to keep us coming back. However, this past Sunday I had a terrible experience. Bad enough to wait 2 days to write this review and allow my self to be level headed. This past Sunday I showed up to get my pedi done with out an appointment, something I have done in the past with no issues, however this time that was not the case. When I walked in, although the nail techs were all busy with a client, I was the only one waiting. It was about 2 minutes(120 seconds). At which point a young girl came up to me and told me that he wait was about 20 to 25 minutes which I thought it was not bad. Well I was mistaking they had me waiting for over an hour and none acknowledged me, other people came in and served them first. I understand if they had appointments but at least let me know what is happening and be honest about your wait time. After about 90 minutes of waiting I was so upset I just left. I will definitely not go back. I hope this helps some one and again this is just the experience I had and does not represent they way the business usually runs.
