I have used them a couple times & the employees are AMAZING! They are nice & quick & dont say your car needs work if it doesnt. They will also explain everything & if you need multiple fixes they are already the cheapest around but they will split up the repairs so you dont have to pay a large sum all at once. I will definitely go to them for all future repairs! 2 thumbs up!

I Been going to pep boys and sun devil auto which are both are on Bell rd both of these companies are Very expensive I walked in came to Brakes Plus and met Hector the store manager and asked him for a quote on my 2002 Lincoln Continental real nice guy and straight forward and professional!! I couldn’t do it right away I had an appointment at the VA but he assured me to come back when I was done and he could get me right in and he sure did ! I came back around 3pm he saw me in the parking lot and came out to meet me before I got to the front door ! I was impressed great service man ! and they got me right in we changed my spark plugs and oil change at a great and fair price thank you Brakes Plus thank you to this staff for being professional I am very grateful ! I went in a couple weeks ago for all new brakes, rotors, front & back. Hector was the gentleman that helped me. He was very helpful and explained everything to me. I typically visit the Avondale in Brakes Plus location, but mostly because of the staff that have always treated me very well. I recently found out that Hector ended up relocating to the location on Bell so I decided to bring my business to that location. That said, there’s a few things I appreciate about the services.1. I don’t feel like they’re ever pushy or sales. But they aren’t afraid to make recommendations for the needs of my vehicle.2. The staff is sociable. I saw an elderly lady who is picked up when her car is finished and delivered to that store. I saw her joking and laughing with the two gentlemen at the desk. Definitely some good rapport with the customers3. Availability. I’m busy, don’t always have time to schedule things out with the amount that I’m working. That said, they were able to fit me in as a walk-in in a decent amount of time and had me in an out in under 30 minutes.Don’t typically write reviews, but I also believe that good service should be rewarded with positive reviews.Thank again for the great service, as always!

Hector did a great job looking out for me. Shout out to Hector. I had sort of an emergency where I needed my tire bolts extracted the hard way—my tire bolts were completely stripped and worn down to the point that they were rounded (I didn’t do it, whoever had the car before me did haha)—but my tires were worn to the tread in certain areas and I had an appointment at Discount Tire to get my tires replaced. And I really needed to get all my car stuff finished today. But Discount doesn’t deal with extracting bolts—ugh…—so i had to scramble to whatever nearby shop hoping that they’d see me the same day and help me. Hector came through. And he and his technicians saved me time and money by extracting the bolts without damaging my hub and rotor on the three wheels that had bad bolts. This is a solid place, and I’ll be coming back. Thanks Hector.

I really tried to hold off a review to give this place a chance since June!!!!!!I wish I could give them more stars from our 1st visit, but the other 2 were completely horrible. Spent 1k for work on our van and when we got the van back, the window didnt work. They offered to repair free of charge which is only right since it WAS working before we took it in. Next, after receiving the van back, now the handle on the SAME door does not work!!!! The guy says that it was working when my wife left. I find this hard to believe as I was dropped off at work today and I got out perfectly fine before the van was taken back to get the window repaired. We get the van back to the shop and they realize it wasnt out error and offered to buy the part and fix it, but the part was on back order. We called about 2 weeks later and the guy said that it was still on back order and that Tony would give them a call and call us back. NO CALL BACK! It has now been 2 months and WE had to call them back and there is supposedly new management. He said he would call 6 hours ago which I understand things could get busy, so, we called again and the guy that answered said there was no work order! What!?!? It has been a hassle going to work and rolling the window down just to open my door. Now I have had enough and will be taking the next steps. I have all of this documented.Update: New manager called. Respectful and told us he will get our door fixed Wednesday. I will update review when my van gets fixed.New update: New management fixed it asap! Thats customer service! I dont know what the first guy was doing.

This shop on 6635 W Bell Rd, with their General manager Hector Reyes, ripped me off with my AC service. for three days of trying and guessing they concluded that I need to replace the whole AC kit!!!???!! in the mean time, they kept charging me unnecessary labor and services, every day I showed up, a total of $400, for nothing!!!???!!!shockingly Mr. Hector Reyes told me I need around $2000 to replace my AC. He couldve told me that in the first visit and saved me that $400. instead based on their initial inspection and faulty diagnostics, they were unable to diagnose the problem (they are thinking, lets just keep replacing parts until its fixed....); I was unhappy with their bad service. definitely they will hear from me. If I dont hear from their headquarters, how to recover my money back, I intend to file suit for Conversion, fraud, Misrepresentation, breach of contract, and violation of the Unfair Trade Practices Act.

Ive been here a couple of times now to get my car serviced and this place has been really helpful. Out of warranty company that was being a real pain and Tony one of the mechanics here went to bat to get all the required maintenance done even though they were giving him a hard time. Tony one step by step to explain what needed to be done and why and for a non-car guy like me thats really helpful. They have a lot of availability to get your car repaired and get it done very fast I really really like this place especially Tony!

I had such a great experience here! I originally went to a different company that was charging a high price. I reached out to this location and spoke with Tony. He instantly started providing information about my car and what is needed, and he provided a price that was fair and way lower than the other place. He saved me so much money, but also treated this whole process with so much care. They took my car in right away!! Tony was amazing at helping me understand the process, and pricing. We went to the Hyundai dealership for my daughters car to be inspected and boy did we get a laundry list of stuff ! It needed this and that exc exc everything but the kitchen skin ! Lol lol the typical stuff you hear when you go the dealership we took the car to Brakes Plus I was recommended by my ex coworker who use to go this location before she moved out of state they looked at the car top to bottom and she didn’t even need most of the stuff the dealership was recommending !! We were here in Arizona visiting my daughter from Michigan and the air conditioner wasnt working. We made an appointment with them got in the next day and before we got there the brakes started making noise. They charged the air conditioning fixed our brakes and did an oil change and were very reasonably priced. Being we had no other transportation they drove my husband back to our rental and then offered to pick us up when the car was ready the next day. They were very honest about the condition of the brakes and very thorough with finding the leak in the air conditioning. I cant say enough how pleased we were with them and how good we were treated! I highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their vehicle.THANK YOU BRAKE PLUS!

Had work done on my brakes 6 months ago at a different shop. My brake issues came back, so I brought my truck here, as I was not happy with the service at the shop that originally worked on it. What a difference! These guys fixed my problem and found that things the other shop charged me for were never done. These guys are great, and Ill be taking my business here from now on. Tony is absolutely amazing and so is his store. I came in to have my alignment fixed, and we found out the underlying issues of the car. We talked out a game plan to getting my car fixed and a price I can work with. I respect that he refused alignment services until I go in for the underlying cause, because he could have just taken my $67 and left it at that. I was shown what to look for in potential problems, and can say I left that store with a smile and will be returning for my service appointment! He genuinely cares about getting you your best deal and safest driving for you and your family!

I came in for struts and brakes and got my car back the next day, the engine light was on when i picked it up towards the end of the day and had to bring it back the next morning to get looked at by the manager Tony, it was an old 02 sensor code and he reset my light and ensured me if it came back on to bring it back and he would get me fixed up. I appreciate him handling me personally and i would definitely recommend this store to others as long as Tony continues to work here :)

I know it sucks finding a place to work on your car that you hope wont take advantage of your business, and Im normally really skeptical of mechanic shops. All that said I would recommend this place. I am new to the area and dont have a mechanic friend to go to, but Angel and his crew took care of me. I took my car in for them to check my brakes because my car wasn’t stopping properly, the manager Hector wanted to tell me how Chrysler is the worst cars to have. I was told my master cylinder was the problem and would cost $669.74 to replace but if it was some kind of computer thing it would cost more. We went with the cylinder, I have been charged all this money and the problem is worse. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING BUT AN OIL CHANGE AND BE CAREFUL WITH THAT.

Noticed an issue with my brakes and called that same day. Spoke to Angel and he was super helpful, they were able to get me in first thing in the morning. They inspected everything fairly quickly and let me know what the issue was. There was no pressure to get the issues fixed right then and there, but I decided to do so and my car was ready within a couple hours. Angel was really easy to work with and made sure I understood everything. Highly recommend.

Went in for a quote, Tony Lundberg, took the time to give me all the “what if’s” which I know was hard since my car wasn’t even there. Thankfully he told me to check my brake fluid before I drove it down because it was EMPTY!! I knew he was being honest and watch my hard earned pennies!! So I had to take the time to say.... I went here for the first time last week for an oil change and a free brake check (which is included with any service). I was very pleased with the services I received! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I’m not very savvy when it comes to car work, so I asked the manager Angel if he could give my dad a call so he could approve any work that needed to be done. They were more than happy to do so and spoke to my dad and proceeded to do the work my dad gave them the go-ahead for. I also really thought my brakes would need to be changed and my dad asked them but they said it would be a waste of money to do it now and to wait a little longer. I really appreciated the honesty because they easily could have said they needed to be changed just to tack on more stuff on the bill, but they did not. For this reason, I will definitely be going back for future oil changes and to get my brakes changed when the time comes, and anything else that may come up. I’m new to the area so wasn’t sure going in, but I highly recommend this place to anyone wondering where they should take their car for maintenance!

So I would have given this place a perfect rating, but we had some issues after they inspected our car. I will say the beginning of my experience with them was very good. I called ahead, explained my situation, and was able to get an appointment for the next day (not sure this was the best idea). I was lead to believe they could service our vehicle for what we needed and that was not the case. We are having transmission issues and they could not access this and gave us a recommendation for another place that has the tools needed to get to our transmission. They did complete a free inspection, but that is what lead to our vehicle not running as well as it had prior to us bringing it here (they left the parking brake on, but then denied it). This is not to say everyone will have the same experience, but just to be transparent about what we experienced.

Tony Knows his stuff, extremely friendly and helpful, pretty much explained everything that was wrong with my suspension and didnt try to sell me anything unnecessary, highly recommend this place.

Somone told me that i could just walk in for an Alignment but when I got there they said they were busy and booked up for the day but after talking to them a little bit they syud go ahead and leave it and will make sure we can squeeze you in for the day because I really need my truck for work and I didnt want to wear down my brand new tires. Its very hard for me to get a weekday off to get things done so I appreciate them taking the time on my only day off.
