I had a wonderful experience working with Floormax. We went to the Aspen Hill show room and was greeted by an extremely polite staff. We (wife and I) were shopping for new carpet. We found the exact carpet and color we wanted, the professional staff helped us understand the importance of good padding under the carpet. After the crew measured, we received a quick quote and moved forward immediately. The carpet was actually ready to be installed before I was ready for it. The scheduling associate held the carpet an extra 2 weeks until I was ready for install. The installers arrived on time, professional, wearing masks and went right to work. We are thrilled with the results and I would highly recommend Floormax to anyone looking for floors or carpet.

I am getting ready to sell my house and I needed a company that could remove some hardwood flooring and install some tile. I was so impressed that they were able to get this done in such a timely manner. They provided me with great service. I had several companies come to my home to give me estimates throughout the years but no one followed through with actually having availability to complete the work. Most importantly the installers were so trustworthy! I was confident that I didnt need to watch over them. I am so happy my friend referred me to Floormax and I will definitely use them in the future for any work I need done at my new home.

Excellent experience with Eddie at the Germantown store. Attention to detail and the install team was fabulous ! We highly recommend. Can’t wait to do our upstairs with them!

Paul, store manager, was helpful, knowledgeable, fair but not pushy. The crew that came to our home for vinyl planks and carpet arrived right on time, worked long hours and left the house very clean. Samuel was an excellent leader and paid attention to detail, even taking photos of before work was done so he could show me what he did. FloorMax was great to work with, more reasonable than other places I researched and the quality of the work was very good. I’d recommend them for sure.

Love Floormax! Eddie was great to work with as was his crew that came to our house for the install. I was initially given a 2 day installation but there were several installers that came out and they were done in one day. Very neat, professional, prompt, floors look gorgeous! we are so pleased with the results we are now doing the upstairs.

I dont know about the pricing, but the work and workers were excellent. Very impressed.

FloorMax had the floor we needed but it was not in stock. Salesman said he can order it for me and I can pick it up from the store. He said it would cost me $75.00 for shipping to the store. Just to be sure, I am not asking for delivery to my home instead I am picking it up from the store - I asked him, there is a shipping fee even if I come here and pick it up? The man yelled at me and said Hey if you dont know my business, do not act like an expert in my business! It costs to put it on the truck and bring it. I was so shocked at his tone and words, I did not know what to say. I just left the store without saying anything and ordering. I am not going back to FloorMax for sure.

Floormax has great wood floors at a good price. Paul and Miguel were very patient as we borrowed sample after sample to find the right floor for our home. In the end, we selected the Cumaru floors for our family, kitchen, and dining room. There was a leveling issue during install, and Paul helped resolve the issue to our satisfaction. After 9 months of cumaru wood floors, we are very pleased with our selection and installation.

Went in for a carpet estimate. The guy gave a high price initially (verbal), so I asked for something a bit cheaper. He ended up showing other carpets but jacked up the price even on the initial estimate. Avoid this place.
