I have never experience a more disorganized mismanaged and lucrative company than lifeline aquatics. If the employees get paid, its rarely on time leading to careless lifeguards who have no loyalty to the company or their duty. If you do decide to sign with this company, make sure to read ALL the fine print. Swim instructors miss lessons, maintenance practices dangerous, illegal activities in the state of Texas, and the staff is unreliable. Other than the lack of decisive leadership though, poor communication, and questionable business ethics, its a great idea for a company.
Please do not work for this company. From my personal experience I know that the company does not pay extra on holidays, doesn’t pay overtime, takes away 30 minutes of pay for a lunch break you never get (ILLEGAL by the way), pays employees late, sometimes never pays at all, etc. I did not receive my last paycheck, so I had to file a wage claim form which will take 6-9 months to process. I am currently a UT student, meaning that I do not have the time or the money to take serious legal action against them. Do not end up in my position, work for a place that respects you.
I would not recommend this company. Our daughter was signed up for 2 weeks of lessons with our HOA, the instructors were late everyday that they decided to show up. Multiple parents from our group called and or emailed the office and struggled to receive any communication. When we were lucky enough to speak with someone they were all ready to pass the blame onto another, not taking any responsibility for their actions. We pulled our daughter out of the next session and will never use them again.
Every bad review of this company is true they dont on time if they pay you at all. Not to mention that they refused to allow proper training of staff.
