I have to say, I’ve been to many different dental offices in many different states and I can honestly say Thoroughdent is by far the best experience I’ve ever had, I got X-rays, an amazing cleaning (by Kendra), and they re-cemented my permanent lower retainer. The whole experience felt effortless and on top of that every one that works here is super kind and the office is full of character. It felt more like a house full of my closest friends than a dental office!! 10/10 would recommend!!!!

I recently went to ThoroughDent Smiles for my 6 month cleaning and it was such a pleasant experience. The receptionist greated me with a welcoming smile. My hygienist, Tami was so wonderful! She explained everything she was doing (which I appreciate). Tami pointed out what she saw that I was doing correctly, as well as areas for me to work for better oral health. Going to ThoroughDent smiles was the most positive experience I have ever had in a dental office. The staff is extremely kind, friendly, and professional.Tami gave me the most thorough (and totally pain free!) cleaning, and Dr. Smith explained my exam results and the work I’d need to have done to get my teeth in their best condition. Past experiences had me pretty nervous as I was getting ready to go, so I don’t say this lightly, but even with the work that I need to have done, I am finally able to experience dental work with zero anxiety. Wow!! This place was incredible! Tammy was an amazing hygienist! She took her time to explain everything, was gentle, and her bedside manner was phenomenal. I had went years with no dentist, not caring about my teeth but yet wanted them to be pretty. I was now an adult and needed to do what I needed to do. Over two years ago I was nervous and just made an appointment and went! NO REGRET! Hands down I love the dentist who would have known! I had cavities filled, a crown placed, wisdom teeth removal, cleanings and now Invisalign. Couldn’t have been possible without Dr. Neda! I love her! She is good at what she does because she cares. She’s goes above and beyond to make me comfortable, happy and involved with how I want my teeth. With her and the awesome team behind her I genuinely wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

I cannot express enough how totally OK I am with going to THIS dentist!!! I had some anxiety start to creep in and within seconds I told myself, “Hey, this is a breeze! Great experience for someone who doesn’t care for dental appointments. Shelia my hygienist was very kind and explained everything as we went along. Dr. Smith excellent chair side manner and gentle approach during the exam. Dr. Smith explained what work was needed and why it would be beneficial to my health. Dr. Neda also stopped by and introduced herself and explained her services with iv sedation. I’m excited to start my care at ThoroughDent Smiles as well as referring my family and friends.

Believe it or not— you can have a dentist that you won’t dread making an appointment for! Dr. Neda is an amazing dentist and I have always had great experiences with both her and the other staff. I am terrified of dentist. My vist yesterday was amazing. The staff are extremely pleasant and caring. Dr. Smith was awesome, he reassured me of everything and took me through things step by step to make sure everything i wanted done was exactly right. He explained everything in detail was not rushed to get me in and out. As a matter of fact, while waiting on Dr. Neda to come in to talk with me, he came and sit with me so I wasnt alone and uncomfortable. When she came in she was awesome also, she went through everything with health issues and concerns I had. Told me what all they would do and what to give me afterwards so I would not be sick. I recommend them to everyone. This is an amazing group of Drs. And staff who go way above and beyond to take care of you and put your cares first. I just wished there were more Drs. And people that treated others the way they do. This world would be a much better place if so. They are truly leading by example. Im not a regular dentist goer, largely because of the generally unpleasant experiences Ive had at various practices.I will be a regular at ThoroughDent. This was by far the best dentistry experience Ive ever had. The staff was very friendly, my hygienist was more than capable, and though I had only limited contact with the Dentist, I would have no problem putting my mouth health in his hands. The office itself was also clean and modern. All in all, a most excellent place.Very highly recommended!

Im brand new to the area and needed to find a primary dentist for myself. So this was my first visit to thoroughdent smiles. As it turns out, my first visit required a tooth extraction which is usually not a very pleasant experience. The entire staff was very welcoming and hospitable. The dentist and assistant/hygienist made me feel comfortable and put me at ease for the procedure. For those of you who have a fear of the dentist, you can set that aside here. I highly recommend them.

When I heard I needed a Root canal & Crown, I wanted to run for the hills. But after the Doctor explained the procedure & how quick it is, I felt at ease. Procedure was quick & painless. I thought I was gonna be sore & not talk for days but I came out like nothing ever happened. Doctor & assistant would check on me from time to time to make sure I was ok, they were very gentle & easy. No one really likes the dentist. Getting stabbed, poked and prodded is not anyones idea of a good time. At ThoroughDent Smiles, you are greeted in such a way that you kind of forget the anxiety inducing reason you are there. Drs. Smith and Neda are absolutely amazing and go the extra mile to ensure you feel safe. Ive worked with both and enjoyed them each immensely! Id definitely recommend Sheila, the dental hygienist as she was absolutely wonderful. Many visits to the dentist are tense and nerve-wracking but the atmosphere here is very calming. The office is very clean and modern and the staff incredibly friendly. I recently switched to this dentist office and have been happy with the change. I had wisdom tooth surgery here and it was as pleasant an experience as could be (though I dont expect a return visit for the same procedure, ha). Dr. Neda was personable and followed up thoroughly after the surgery. Check this place out if youre looking for a new dental office in the Georgetown area.(My procedure occurred during COVID-19 and the staff observed appropriate social distancing measures from the time I arrived, and wore plenty of protective gear to prevent contamination on the part of the patient or care provider.)
