Took my van in to darrells garage for a tune up... plugs wires distributor cap rotor and the egr valve.. also paid for a 72 point Insection. Everything was fine van felt better.. a couple months or so I look under vehicle to address a few things on the inspection sheet they gave me.. I realized the plastic in the wheel well to cover the spark plugs for water and debris is gone on both sides.. took back to them to see what can be done today. The guy at front desk looked and admitted the fault and I was told theres nothing they can do.. uh yeah there is something you can do.. order me 2 liners to replace the ones you guys ripped off and discarded without my consent.. The guy at the front desk stated sometimes the part gets old and brittle.. I told them it was not old and brittle. I explained to them I tried to do the plugs myself and I know the liner was intact and strong as ever I just felt it was too tough of a job for me so I had them change em... I told them they shouldve told me if they felt the liner was no good and not just throw them away without my knowledge.. he simply shrugged it off and walked away saying again nothing they can do.. I will never take my vehicle there again.. such a simple problem that couldve been corrected and shouldve never happened.. its like getting you tire changed and they take off the hubcap and throw it away.. its not right. I want my vehicle put back the right way.. bad business practice to admit the fault but do nothing to remedy the situation.

Ive been going to Darrells Garage for about 3 years now. They have always been so considerate and transparent with everything they do. I even had to take my car in this afternoon for an emissions test and my toddler had fallen asleep in the car before we got there. They told me they would work really quite and be as quick as possible. He slept the whole way through everything and Im a happy mom knowing he got to have his nap. Again, all because these guys know how family life is and are so kind. Definitely recommend!

I was traveling home to Greenville, SC late Friday night from Charlotte and my car broke down on I-85. AAA had Darrells listed as a certified garage for repairs, so the tow truck brought my car here. We called Monday morning and spoke to Terry about the situation. Our experience here was honestly some of the most professional, caring, above and beyond service weve ever received. To say the prices were fair is an understatement. They gave us honest counsel and helped us with next steps closer to home. If more businesses were run this way our world would be such a better place. Definitely recommend these people 100%!

Terry the owner was very knowledgeable and patient.I know enough about cars to be dangerous, but he took the time to explain what was going on and didn’t talk down to me like I was dumb. I had never been to this location before and don’t regret allowing them to fix my car . They got it towed and everything fixed within an awesome time frame & priced fair .. Ive used the guys at Darrells garage only one time, but it was one of the most positive experiences Ive ever had at a mechanic! Terry is beyond professional, and I trust every word out of his mouth. Very soft spoken, not once did he try to oversell me, and was happy to show me the work they had done in detail. They are not scared to refer you to someone else on work they cannot do, and their prices at least in my case were very fair. They replaced wheel bearings on my car in only a few hours, where I was concerned like other garages I may have to leave the car for a week.

I have used them for years for all my vehicles and my companys vehicles. Terry and his team are great people, honest, and do a great job.

Be careful going to Darrell’s Garage for service, you may end up with a spark plug connecting fuel lines, because it’s a Friday and they want to leave and you’ve been sitting for too long, instead of doing proper work the first time. Then they’ll tell you that they did incorrect work so that you can buy a part and THEN they’ll do it correctly. Yea, they may be cheaper than most but is it worth doing my harm to you car in the long run, I think not!

Great place for honest repairs at a reasonable price.

They got me in fast for a prepurchase inspection. They combed over the details and really took their time. The only downside was that the lobby area is not air conditioned and they have no fans going in there, either. Dont plan on staying to wait for your car if its a hot day! Neil was great to work with.

I can highly recommend Darrells garage if youre in need of auto repairs. The staff is honest, prompt in completing repairs and reasonably priced. Im most grateful for their honesty in telling you what is wrong with your automobile and even prioritizing that which can wait and repairs that need to be made immediately.

Ive never had service this amazing before from an auto repair shop. I brought my Jeep in for a repair and they told me EXACTLY what it was and had it fixed in no time for a descent cost considering the difficulty of the job. Wish I lived in the area to know those guys are there to take care of my auto repair needs!

These guys are awesome, they have never steered me wrong or tried to up sell me. Terry is a straight shooter, they are the only garage that actually told me I had to get a new car; they flat out told me-we cant fix this; well we can but itll cost you more then the car is worth.They do pre buy inspections; $176.00, I took three cars to them (still on the $176.00) before they said Yep this one is okay.I have never regretted doing business with them.

I was considering getting my timing belts changed at D. Garage so I asked for a quote obviously I offended him because the entire time I spoke with him he was a wise ass. He told me quote Im gonna fuss at ya a little bit first of all you need to find a mechanic who knows what the hell theyre doing and the reason Ive been getting many diagnosis is because IVE been talking the cheap way out. He talked to me like I was a boy like as if it was my fault for getting mis diagnosis I dont know the gentlemans name but he boasted about his 45 years of experience he had a smart ass comment for every little thing I said In the conversation I told him Im not a mechanic I can only go by the the opinions of other mechanics I could tell by the way he was talking to me he didnt give a damn if he got my business or not after he finally gave me a quote he came up with every reason for why the quote was irrelevant I dont know if he was just rascist or in a bad mood but because of you I dont want to ask any mechanic for a quote because they might be an ass hole like you my friend

These folks are great. They can tune a car, or put in an entire rebuilt engine. They are very helpful in diagnosing auto problems and keeping me informed. They do a great job for me consistently.

I went there to have my brakes checked i was waiting over 3 hours they told me i had to have the oil changed even though it didnt need changed they told me i had to have my tires rotated in order to check my brakes i had to pay almost 90 bucks for stuff that didnt need done they told me the brake pads had to be worn down more before the brake pads needed change they said i had 40 percent brake pads left then told me it needed more work that will be over 300 dollars a man came in there needing a car battery for his car they charged him over 200 dollars for a car battery they lie and scam to get money i wont go back again they aint worth the drive 😡😡😡😡

I took my car here I shared with them the codes I received from autozone they called and told me it was something else and after fixing that they then called and said there was something else wrong. The final something else was what the codes originally had stated not the first fix

Weve taken both of our cars to Darrells for various services, from checking out a new car we were buying, to regular maintenance, and have always felt that we were being well taken care of and that we could trust the folks there.

They were charging me $190 for a $50 part plus installation that was 3 times longer than it should have been.STAY AWAY!!!
