This review is for my visit on 09/10. I came to this facility to pick up a vehicle. First impressions, the lobby is huge, there’s a sign in sheet for both drop off/pick up, plenty of seating for you if you have to wait, and a tv. I had an appointment at 10am and I showed up about 15 minutes early. I think I only sat down for about 10 minutes when one of their workers, Mike came out to assist me. He came over to get my documents and confirm my identity. Once that was done it took another 10 minutes for them to get my car. We went to the holding area/garage to view and sign forms. Mike mentioned to me that they had to jump start the car because of a dead battery. He suggested I wait a bit to allow the battery to charge with the vehicle running. While the car idled we did a walk around of the car, signed a few forms, and Mike even assisted me with mounting my plates to the car. An overall great experience that took less than 30 minutes to complete. Mike was friendly, helpful, and definitely a great asset to this company. This review isn’t sponsored nor was I paid for it 🤠🤙
I went there to pick up my vehicle that I had shipped from Japan. The staff are knowledgeable and will get you on your way as soon as possible! The guy who helped me receive my truck helped me jump the battery and even gave me directions to the nearest Diesel pump. I’ve heard people complaining about shipping vehicles but I can’t speak on that. If you’re going just be sure to read all your emails as they give you everything you need to know.
If I could, I would give this NO stars. The most unprofessional business I ever had to deal with. I am also in the military and every time I called this place it was nothing but a headache. Relocation in the military is already hard enough. I could NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
Went to pick up my vehicle today, extremely fast service and friendly staff. Once I drove off I noticed a couple things. My tire pressure sensors were going crazy. Someone let out the pressure in my tires to 12 PSI, no holes in tires. They also “misplaced” my custom tire pressure plugs and replaced them with the simple/ordinary ones. My car was turned in being “white glove” clean and I received it with all windows smudged of mud, somehow sand got in the trunk/ door sills etc. definitely feels like they took my car for a joyride, especially considering the miles on it were way up, more than reasonable for loading and offloading the car.
Honestly come here expecting to spend a long time waiting. The staff is very friendly but very much about doing things by the book so make sure to triple check all the things you need to do before coming because they will send you away no matter how long youve been there.
As soon as I walked into the VPC, there was a lady who worked here that was completely unprofessional. She continuously complained about being called in on her day off, stated that she rather be home, and when her coworker was approaching her she said “i’m not here, you don’t see me” implying that she just probably didn’t have any desire to help them with whatever they needed and proceeded to cover her eyes with her face mask, which btw, is gross.she continued to talk about a previous service member, and mentioned issues that they had with their PCSing their POV, and said “that’s not my problem, she should’ve have done…” as a service member, I would hate for other people who serve our country day in and day out, to have to even be around people who don’t want to help them. It’s insulting, and upmost embarrassing. I would’ve rather driven all the way to Washington and shipped my car from that VPC rather than this one. Do better… Respectfully.
They were friendly and got all the required documents completed and processed. Only thing i didnt like was the gas gauge HAS to be 1/4 tank based on regulations etc. Which i understand, i didnt think it has to be 1/4 tank on the dot. They take it very serious. Other than that quick and good service.
Attempted to ship my car on military orders. They told me I needed to have my orders state specifically that I could ship a vehicle and there was nothing they could do about it. They turned me away, told me I would have to reschedule, and were very unhelpful. When I called more than once with questions to ensure I had everything they needed, I was told to watch the video on the website. Which obviously didnt tell me anything about needing to specifically state anything on my orders. Ended up having to sell my car. Thanks for nothing.

I went to pick up our vehicle and had an appointment at 2. I arrived a few hours early and they were able to squeeze me in. Everyone, they took such good care of me and Bill went above and beyond helping me get my vehicle ready to drive away from the facility. They were so courteous, kind, and professional. Bill gave me directions to the nearest gas station and to the highway and gave me instructions on how to remove a bolt that the head broke off of when we tried to unscrew it from the car to put on the license plate. It was one of the easiest experiences and I felt so take care of. Service had a whole new meaning when I was finished in the best way! Thanks, Bill and team, for being so amazing!

Our experience started off as a 0 star review because of a unfriendly employee and our mistake of not having 1/4 tank of gas. I had 1/2 tank. That person made a stressful situation worse. However, the manager turned our experience around completely. I wasn’t able to catch her name but she made sure my kiddos were ok and really came through for us. Thank you so muchMake sure you ONLY have 1/4 tank of gas. Or you will have to drive around or pay $35 at the Valero for them to siphon it and then you loose your appoint and become a walk in.
Probably one of the most unprofessional places I have ever been. The staff argue with the customers. They engage in heated arguments here because they can’t manage their temper. The worst one is the short gentleman with black hair. I believe his name is Jonathan and he is the manager. He is very rude and should not be interacting with customers. He called me one time to ask what I needed by saying “hey, yo!” I was shocked because nobody has addressed me like that. What the heck is hey yo?
Very picky with how clean your vehicle needs to be. Tried to tell us that they would take the vehicle shipment out of our pay if they discovered it was dirty, which isnt true. I shipped my other vehicle out of pocket with Matson and they didnt have close to the same requirements on cleanliness which tells me this rule about how clean your vehicle must be is just a VPC/Military requirement and completely arbitrary.

The manager was extremely short with us, after turning us away due to a recall issue, we asked if we got the issue fixed same day within their business hours, if they would let us come back. We are completely booked up... a few minutes later she drives off.
Extremely impressed! I’m early to everything and showed up at 8:00 for a 9:00 appointment to drop off, Desiree greeted me at the door and said she would see if they could get me in early. Long story short they got me in, there was an error with the last page of orders and I was able to use their computer to print off a duplicate. Donna took care of the processing/inspecting and was an absolute delight as well. I was in and out in an hour and 10 minutes.It was really simple. Have your paperwork ready to go (orders/amendments, proof of ownership (title or registration), NHTSA recall printout, Authorization Letter, pre-shipment documentation and your vehicle inspection ready (vacuum, washed, fluid check, 1/4 tank gas or less) and you should have zero issues.
I was in and out of the VPC in about 20 minutes...great service overall! Ended up showing up an hour early for my pick-up appointment due to travel arrangements, but they accommodated by getting me seen as soon as the earlier appointments were taken care of. Before you enter into the building, they will take your temperature. Once you sign in, one of the agents will get your paperwork in order, and pull up your car in the bay. Youll do the exterior inspection; I was impressed that they had done a quick wash! I didnt think this was common practice at VPCs because at another location, they provided a free wash at a local detailing center.For those of you wondering about actual shipment times, I shipped my car from the Honolulu VPC. Estimated arrival to this location was about 5.5 weeks, but my car arrived to the San Diego port in about 2.5 weeks, and then 1-3 days to get from the port to the VPC. The PCSmyPOV app is really helpful to have, but I got an email that my car had arrived to this VPC before the app updated, which was really great news for me because my hope was to pick up my car on the day I arrived to LAX, rather than 5+ hours another day to the VPC and then another 5+ hours back to my station. Keep in mind that when the app says arrived to San Diego (port) thats not the same location as the San Diego VPC. Also, obviously dont expect the same timeline as mine considering all the other logistical factors.
I want to give big kudos to Nicole and Brenda. They were very friendly and professional. I had all of my paperwork in order however, I had a little too much fuel in and had to drive it out. I asked if I could come right back and was told if they could get me in they would however, I was given anotehr appointment for the next morning. I was able to drive out the fuel very quickly and when I went back to the VPC I called and they were able to get me back in. I had also injured my leg previously and they offered me to sit on the couch and brought the paperwork to me.I thanked them both however, wanted to publicly thank them as I was in and out of there within an hour and was treated with much respect! Great Job ladies....

We came and it wasnt super busy, the workers are friendly, but just make sure your car is under 1/4 tank because they are incredibly strict about it.
I wish I could give this place a worse review than 1. It took over 4 hours to get my car perfectly spotless enough for them to take it. We signed up for an appointment on their website, but they dont seem to follow appointments at all at the office. They have you sign in on paper and wait for them to call you. They told me to vacuum my car several times, but never told me they had vacuums inside the warehouse. I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy.
You have to wait for a long time after your appointment. There are clear sign ins, but sometimes there is no one around and youre left wondering if you followed the procedure correctly. The people working there are competent, you just have to wait a while (even with an appointment).
One of the worst VPCs I have been to. Waiting here, they are approximately 1 hour behind. To be fair there’s only 1 person helping with the vehicle inspections. Also to be fair I see 4 employees inside and only 1 working with a customer. Another lady is looking up motorcycles on her computer. There is a kids play room so that’s nice. They also have free coffee for you while you wait. It’s very unorganized (or organized chaos) as I see documents and folders just placed on top of file cabinets. Employee work stations look like a hot mess. I’m only coming here because I absolutely have to. All in all, this place is pathetic. Where’s the manager?

Amazing service. Ive been shipping cars overseas and to and from Hawaii for ten years now. This was by far my fastest, best customer service, and my car looked amazing. 1000% better than any other VPC Ive dealt with.
When I read the reviews, I was scared and had a ton of anxiety about dropping my vehicle off. However, when I got there, I experienced great customer service, they treat you really well and are extremely professional (and they have free coffee). I was in and out within LESS of an hour.My recommendations are if your traveling from out of town 4+ hours of road trip, give yourself a few days to be in LA (3-4 days) just in case something has to be corrected on your vehicle.I had to get my vehicle fuel down, so I had to come back the next day, which is fine. I thought my vehicle would burn through gas traveling from LV but it didn’t burn as much as I projected/planned for.Go to their website, watch the YouTube video on everything you need. Create a checklist of all the paperwork you need, place it in a folder and have two copies of each piece of documentation (this is key, this is what is going to make the process very painless and very fast).Get your vehicle fully serviced and free of recalls 2-4 weeks out from drop off date and save that documentation as well.Start cleaning your vehicle weekly 4-6 weeks out from drop off date, either professional detail or DIY. By the time my vehicle was ready to be dropped off it was like brand new.
This was surprisingly, a very positive and pleasant experience. I came to this facility thinking that the process was going to be long and complicated. However, the staff was very friendly, understanding, and professional. The process was clearly explained. If you follow the guidance provided on the website, its less likely that there will be any problems during the visit. My paperwork was in order so I was in and out, my car was dropped off and accepted in under an hour. That may seem like a lot of time but it really was not considering that there were a lot of people being serviced that day. I highly suggest that a reservation is made in advance for all business conducted.If this review was useful, give it a like.
RUDE incompetent and I emailed ICE.I strongly recommend that you watch their every move as these tricksters will try to seal your car box without you looking. When they did this to me I asked for them to open the box before I signed any paper. Beware if that box has drugs in it you will be the one in the slammer. This is how drugs are being sent to Hawaii.
Horrible....we dropped a car off earlier at another port..another company...easy in and out. Came here for our other car and it was an all day process, dealt with petty issues, and slow working employees. They know they are getting that government dollar and it shows.
I came to pick up my car, my appt is at 11am but came in @ 1030ish, was seen 15 mins later. Out of the place w/ my car w/n another 15 mins. Very nice gentleman who helped me w/ my registration/plates/DMV/gas station direction questions. Awesome service from my POV.
Base on the service these people provide and the people that theyre providing it to they need to improve their general attitude and their customer service instead of saying no all the time they should work harder to solve the problems of people trying to Avail themselves of their service because we are using the service in a time of great need and rather than saying no all the time what they should be trying to do is solve problems of service members and their family while theyre trying to store their vehicle or get their vehicle shipped.
They had my car and never called me. They said that they sent me an email, but they didnt. Lost around 2k, because they will be quick to let you know that is not their fault and make up excuses.

Fast if you have an appointment. Slow if you dont. Budget at least three hours here, even with an appointment, and you should be ok.My inspection and turn in to ship my vehicle went smoothly. Check the website and bring the required documents.There are several car washes nearby. Aquamax is the one we went to for a quick outside wash. Vacuum thoroughly and wipe down your vehicle before arriving.Leave family at the nearby McDonalds while you work to minimize distractions.
They have a great room for kids to play in. The wait is as expected, a little long. They are very courteous.
Handled both of my vehicle processes quickly and Expediantly. Both vehicles arrived before the time they initially promised.
Everything went smooth until after l lefted the location, only to find out that they had called my Son in Guam to tell him they couldnt ship out his vehicle because his orders had expired. But, the problem was resolved and his car is scheduled to be shipped out now!
The workers are nice and it has a kids play room. But they broke a my tpm sensor on my tires when putting air in it. They said it was cheap to replace but ended up costing me $100
We were there for almost three hours after our scheduled appointment time for shipping our car to Hawaii. We spent an hour beforehand washing the car and vacuuming it out, but that was not enough. They made my husband scrub the windows and vacuum it out for over an hour more, and then sign back in to start the process over. It was ridiculous. My 7 year old son and I went with my husband because he’d been suffering separation anxiety from all the upheaval of a military move. We sat in that waiting room for almost three hours. On the other hand, when we shipped my car out of pocket through Pasha, it was excellent. The appointment took 30 minutes. If you have a choice (which we don’t through the military) go with Pasha.
