Absolutely worst experience I have ever had. Called in 2 weeks prior as I was trying a new service. They told me to try out new service and theyll suspend this service and cover my bill (after repeatedly telling them no, to cancel it). New service is great (AT&T). Call back in to cancel it and they try the same thing (even though they never even covered the bill). Tried asking me the exact same questions I already gave them 2 weeks ago.She refused to help me unless I go through her exact same questions. Finally asked her where my previous notes are, or if they didnt log them. She said they did log them, asked her where, she said in my file. Told her to take them from there.The hardest cancelation Ive ever been through. Especially considering this is a no contract

Wires hanging in the yard of our apartment complex for over a year now. Youve had third party techs here working on another buildings lines and the tech laughed about the lines being down and left. Youve had numerous calls from customers in this building complaining about your quality of service. Junction box is wide open outside leaving your technology open to the elements - AND DID I MENTION 30 FOOT OF YOUR CABLES HANGING OFF THE POLE AND ON THE GROUND FOR OVER A YEAR? HOW ARE YOU IN BUSINESS?!

This is one of, if not THE worst company to deal with. Poor customer service. No one ever answers a service call within 10 minutes. Poor internet speeds. Been a customer for over 10 years and its always a battle. Have to call to beg for discount when contract is up meanwhile new customers get all sorts of deals. Dont be fooled by the upfront GREAT DEALS and Visa gift card. You will be sorry. The price will keep inching higher for less and less service.

We’ve had Suddenlink for over 2 years, we pay for 1gig internet speed but at best get 200. We have had over a dozen techs come out and try to address the speed issue. The tech says it’s an outside line problem that has to be done by someone else. Then we hear nothing for a few weeks then call again. They send a tech out who says the same thing and the cycle repeats. This is so frustrating and I can’t comprehend why they would waste so much time and money to not fix a problem.

Less than 5 star?I cannot get $50 1GB for Life because I am an existing customer. That makes no sense. I have been a customer for 5 years.My speed has been coming in at 15 to 20MB but I pay $98 a month for the 400MB service. I can in and they say they can lower my bill, but I have to lower my speed. I am not sure dial up is much slower.The customer service rep was doing her best not to help me. This was a world class bad experience.

If I could give a negative star review I would! Too say the service is abysmal is an understatement to say the least.I had them come out to install cable. When they left my home it still wasnt working and they didnt even do all that I had ordered. When I called to tell them the service still wasnt working even after there technician had left and that I needed someone back out tomorrow to fix the issues. All I got from them was excuses after excuses. They told me after I had already waited over a week for them to come out to my home for new service, that it would be another week before they would be out to fix what should have done in the first place. I had had service with them for internet for years but after the way they had treated us we decided to go back to At&t for internet and TV. It was amazing that once we told their competitors how we were treated they came out faster than the cable company, Suddenlink did. Also when they did finally come back out to the house they left our back gate wide open and let our dogs out. To say they acted like a child just because we went with their competitors is another understatement.Dont waste your time and hard earned money on them. I assure you that with a little shopping around you can find a much better deal and to say the least much better service too.

Service has been down since Friday. A outage was reported. They then reported it was fixed but a large amount of people have no connection coming to their homes. They finally send a tech who says to wait another 48hrs to see if maintenance will fixed the problem.This company is by far the worst for reliability and customer service. If you move I to an area that tries to force them on you, do your very best to find a alternative. Suddenlink is a garbage fire of a company.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with. It takes absolutely forever to get someone on the phone. Working from home is non existent as I’m constantly without internet all day every single day. There is never steady internet and I have the highest package they offer. Get ANY company other than them!!!

I called on 3/19 and asked the customer service rep to schedule my service to be disconnected on April 3rd after move. They said that is fine, put it in the system, and I’m good to go. Went to login to work on 3/22 and found that they had disconnected my service already. Two weeks early. Sat on the phone getting transferred to 4 different people and their “resolution” is to have a tech come out THE NEXT DAY at 11am. That’s how they handle their own major mistake. Not fixing it remotely, not a tech out ASAP, not out the same morning, not out the same afternoon, not even first thing next morning. Literally 30 hours later. One of the reps, Michelle, finally told me that they don’t have an option to push out a disconnection. It happens the next business day whenever I call. Now the rep that somehow didn’t know enough to tell me this will go on screwing the next customer over.Now I will actively let everyone know that Suddenlink is to be avoided at all costs. If there are any other ISPs available whatsoever, choose them over Suddenlink. On to AT&T fiber for me.

Been paying for over 5 years here and they never offered promotions. I called and they only would make me add extra stuff I didnt need. I finally call to cancel, since att fiber offered me a great deal. The guy then says oh yeah in the future call to cancel...this gets you to the people that will give you better deals. Damage done...yall lost a customer by being greedy.

I canceled my service December 26, 2020. They stated I had until January 25 to return my modem. I received a bill January 11, 2021 stating payment is due! I called again and told them I canceled my services and yet you want to still continue to bill me? They stated that services for that account will No longer be billed! TODAY, I received a bill stating I owe money! I Don not and Will not pay you for services that were not used! I have tried calling but cannot get through without making a payment! SMH! Update: I followed up on twitter for assistance. I was told the only option was to decrease the services I receive to decrease the fee. Lol, no.Original review: Connected service in 2018 with a great price for service. Price went up in 2019. I called and threatened to discontinue service and fees went down by $15. 6 months later fees went up higher than the first time. I called again and fees went down by about $20, which was still higher than original, but close enough. 3 months later fees were up to a new high. I called again and received, in writing, a new fee of about $70. Two months later, fee went up $10, and next month, up $10. Long story short, I strongly do not recommend Suddenlink. They are always raising fees, the wait times to address this are very long, service representatives sound miserable and read miserable scripts, and it doesnt matter, Suddenlink raises the prices the next month anyways. Stay away.

Trash company, we waited 3 weeks for the first available date to install internet into our new office. No call no show and when we finally got ahold of them to find out what was going on they pushed us out another week. We are literally waiting on them to install internet to be able to run operations out of our new facility. They do not care about their customers at all. I wish we had the option to use someone else. Absolute worst experience ever. When the technician came on day 1, he left a fiber optic line above ground the ground from sidewalk to side of house. I called for 3 weeks to have someone come bury it. When someone finally came they said thats not their dept and couldnt help me. Then they no showed the appt 3 times. On the 4th time they showed up and buried the line, then rang the doorbell. By the time my wife got the dog put in away and went to the door they had left and charged me $60 for no show service appt. In 3 months, the DVR worked less days than it didnt. I had someone come out last Sunday to fix it, it has worked every other day since. I called today to have the service disconnected effective Sunday and get home from work and everything is already disconnected.

Internet has been down more than it has been up. I have called this company twice a week for the last 4 weeks straight. Internet still doesnt stay up for more than 48 hours. I hear the tech has been dispatched and appointments have been made, tech never shows up.. This reminds me of internet i had back in the early 90s. Wish I could give negative stars! Internet speeds not what I was paying for, Netflix was lagging out. So we had called and they reset something and speeds were ok, for a little while then the same thing got tired of it switched to att. We called and canceled, got I spoke with did his best to retain us as customers but the damage was done. Said he would email us the return label to send back the equipment which he never did. I called to get a return slip and after trying 3 separate calls I finally got a human to speak with. He was the worst most rude pos I’ve ever dealt with in customer service. I asked if the man I spoke with lied to me about emailing me my return slip and his response was “well did you get it!?” I should have kept my cool and talked with his supervisor but I was done I recommend you the reader to never use sudden link or any of its affiliates unless you want to be taken advantage of and treated horribly.

Dont even try the chat function. After 3 days of being told my loss of internet was due to an outage in the area I called in. After getting past the nonsense phone tree I was able to speak to someone, and in all of a minute I had internet again.

Absolutely the worst customer service! We had been customers for over three years! We bought a new home in an area that Suddenlink doesn’t service so we called to cancel our service. We called to cancel on September 25th which happened to be the last day in our billing cycle. We were told that we were all paid up and that our service would be disconnected. After we finished our move we received a bill for service from 9/26 - 10-25. We called several times to figure out why we would be receiving this bill. We were told that the bill was an error and that it would be taken care of. It wasn’t! We have now received a notice of a past due bill and when we called to find out why we were told that Suddenlink didn’t disconnect our service until 9/27 and that if we had service for even one day of a new billing cycle that we owed for that entire billing cycle! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!!

Pretty much worst experience ever. Not to mention a ton of outages the past 2 months. I wanted to give this company more stars because when Ive needed heavy down stream they have proven themselves. I have the 1Gbs internet package and have reached DL speeds of 600Mbs but up stream can be quite slow, never hitting speeds above 23Mbs. Plus the technician was awesome, professional, and extremely efficient with my time. Unfortunately the scheduling dept. took it upon themselves to change my appt. twice, was not the best way to start a business relationship.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Moved on Nov 29. Called 1 week prior to move to terminate service as of Nov 30. I was told to call back after we moved. Called on Nov 30 and was told it was the first day of a new billing cycle and we would be required to pay for an entire month of service because they dont prorate. When I questioned why I wasnt told about this when I initially called to terminate service I was told by a very condescending representative that this information is on our bill. I will never use Suddenlink for any service ever again.

They said my appointment was between 2 and 5. So I left work early to be here. The guy didnt show up until six. Then he had my neighbors address and said he couldnt hook it up until that was fixed. I called to verify address which took two minutes to have someone tell me that my address showed right on there end. In the time I went and called he told my wife he had a service call near by and would be back. He left and never returned. Then I was told that they would get someone out the next day so I called back the next day to see what time and they said I was scheduled for nine days later. My son needs internet for school. So I have to drive him to a friends everyday 20 miles in the opposite direction from my job. This company has no respect for its customers and should be run out of business. If you cant take care of those who are paying your bills. Then why should they take care of you. Its almost like they got their money so why do they care. And thats SAD. REALLY SAD. Had suddenlink tv and internet but they kept going up. Finally went streaming services only and internet only with suddenlink one year ago. Two weeks ago got call from sales rep at Suddenlink and age sold ne in a premium package including high speed internet for x dollars a month for 12 months. Installed this evening at 545. At 614 i got an email with details about my new package and the price was almost double what i was quoted. I then spent 1 hr and 45 minutes on with 5 people and being on hold only to finally be told to call back tomorrow they were closed now. I am so mad / hot you could fry an egg on me And still have the same issue. Liars. Thieves. tricksters. Shady people and company. What a scam. .

Suddenlink is a terrible company. After experiencing so many issues with their internet service, we finally went with another company who is great. Since we stopped using Suddenlink internet service 2 weeks ago, we have been trying to get through to disconnect our service and keep getting a busy signal on several phone lines or we are on hold for over 30 minutes and then they hang up on us. Weve tried everything, even the online chat and cant get through. We are now on our way to find a store even though all the stores near us say they are closed permanently. SO FRUSTRATING! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INTERNET SERVICE COMPANY EVER!

Run away do not sign up for any of their service including cell phone, terrible service, terrible customer service, installation was faulty will highly not recommend. If there was negative star, I would have given them. I signed up for a 1gig (1024MB) service, after installation, after intial setup, the speed was 88MB. I called several times because no one showed up to fix it, which after a few attempts, they were only able to get my speed up to 300-400MB. In my second bill i was charged $120 as a service charge to correct their initial setup. I disputed and they refused to correct. Will not recommend, very disappointed.

I called 5 times including today to dispute a service call charge. It was fixed and then we were mistakenly recharged for the service charge on our initial bill. She prepaid so the amount to be due is not reflecting correctly. She was supposed to get a $10 credit for prepay and amazon gift card. The agent she spoke to today was supposed to fix the billing issue, but ordered a technician instead. We are not experiencing issues with our connection nor did we order a technician. We want to cancel the technician we did not authorize and have our bill corrected. Please fix this as we don’t have time to call several more times just to fix this issue. We are using our own modem and being charged for a modem, as well, and we were supposed to be refunded for the service call. It’s that simple. Please help us. 2 stars because the internet service works.

A sales agent from this company came to my door and tried to sell me their internet last year, saying that they have a FLAT RATE of $50 each month (plus fees) with unlimited internet cap. I asked several times to double check if they may change the price after some time, he told me thats a price for life so I dont ever need to worry about that. So I switched to the company, yet after one year the basic rate starts to rise. Their explanation is that the 50 price was a result of some discount, and after a year that discount has dropped. when I asked them what about the flat rate that sales agent told me about, they say the agent is only responsible for introducing the offer, but its ME should have go read every word in the bill to know that there is actually a trap that says the price is subject to change. and when I ask them to find their record on that agent, they refuse. So now Im paying more each month, and happily waiting for the next price change on my FLAT RATE.

I’m about ready to get out of this area because the options are limited for great WiFi services! Like I’m thinking about moving!! It is terrible.. I was charged for a service call I never had. Because a manager never called me back I ended up having to pay for it anyway! They don’t honor their credits for when the service disconnects 80 times a day! This company has the worst customer service in the entire USA. My bill is always wrong. Every month I have to call to get them to correct what they did not add to the file from the previous account. Apparently there is never manager working if you need your issue escalated. Average wait time on hold is 1 hour. I have committed over 10 hours on the phone with Customer service in the past 2 months and I still have issues. They do not have any dedicated repairmen, they are all contractors that can charge based on what they want to make for the day. I had 3 different people out to fix the dropping Wi-Fi and it turned out to be their modem. I cancelled my modem and got my own. They still charge me each month for the modem and I have to call in each month to get this adjusted, which is not adjusted on the next bill. I am literally on hold for 40 mins trying to talk to someone. They will usually do this on Fridays and let you roll over to the international team that does not know anything about the internet. Sucks because I am out in the sticks and this is the only high speed internet available. Soon as anyone, I mean anyone. Pee Wee Herman, Baby Huey or Santa Claus has highspeed in my area. I am out. 100% hands down, the WORST

I signed up for Suddenlink January 6, 2021. I had to pay $227.14 to get service set up. Paid $100.00 March 5th because I misplaced the bill. I paid $118.40 March 12, 2021. Since January 6 to March 12 I have paid $444.54 and they say I still owe over $200.00. Where I live u either have Suddenlink or At & T or dish. Suddenlink also mailed me a amplifier that I didnt ask for didnt open the box sent it back the next day cost me over $20.00 to mail it back to them but Im still getting charged as though I have it. Woke up this morning to find my internet not working. Called Suddenlink and their automated system advised my internet had been block due to lack of payment. I have never not paid my bills!! I had no email or written notice that they had been unable to charge my card on file. I called and attempted to reach a live person. Their system refused to send me to a person until I paid the minimum due. I finally gave in and paid even though I didnt know how my bill wasnt paid on autopay as it had been previously. Then I get a Suddenlink rep calling my phone telling me oh yes I see we have your email on file. I dont why we didnt email you. They have my phone and email on file. I work from home and lost an hour of work time today due to Suddenlink not contacting me about this issue. They also didnt remove the late fees, even when I asked. I wouldnt have been late on my payment if they had alerted me to the issue.Long story short as soon as we can we will be changing services. I have frequently had issues with this company and have had enough. They raise your bill without warning. Their equipment is awful. Until recently they were the only option out here. Not anymore. Buyer beware!!!

Ok no problem, until I’m transferred to an extension that a recoding says is INACTIVE.So, I call back. If I could give negative stars I would!!! I have been without internet for 16 days now.. I first called 2 and a half weeks ago to get a tech to come out because I had been without internet for 3 days (hoping it would come back online like it has in the past) I was able to get a tech scheduled the next day and I was relieved because this is the fast turn around time Ive ever had on getting a tech to my house to fix problems like this. The tech came out at 730pm on Friday night and replaced the modem saying the modem we had was not good. He then waited 15 mins before deciding the modem wasnt the problem and instead it was the cabling.. he then checked the attic and decided it was the cabling outside my house. He asked if he could come back on Saturday to replace the cabling and I said sure. He came out on Saturday to replace the cable in our driveway... and then decided it was actually a box by the road that was causing the problem and told us it would be fixed in 72 hours because they made a ticket to the maintenance tech... 72 hours comes and goes and I call the customer service line... they tell me the notes show the tech already came out and the problem was fixed. I said there is no way because I still dont have internet.. I call back on Wednesday of last week and they offered to help trouble shoot it. Which didnt work. Then they made an appointment for a tech to come back out which was scheduled for today.. the tech came out today and tells me the box by the road still hasnt been fixed and he has no clue when it will get fixed because there is only 1 person working that can fix the possible issue... it has been 16 days. My daughter is trying to do school work from home and I am trying to work from home and no one seems in a hurry to get our internet working again... at this point you would think a manager would be involved to make this right.. I am over this company. Worst communication, worst customer service, and no speed behind anything they do!!! Stay far away from using suddenlink if at all possible!!!

Ive had issues with my Cable TV for 4 weeks. Cant even get a person on the phone, request a call back, they call back place me on hold and then hang up. 1st Tech comes out, cant fix issue. Another tech comes out 2 weeks later,is LATE (outside appointment window). Im on the way home to meet him, spoke to him on the phone told him I would be there in 5min, HE LEFT! Ive had most major ISPs and they are by far the worst. I originally purchased the 200mbps package that had unlimited data. I specifically got that one because it advertised unlimited data. Then when Corona hit, I started getting overage charges. When I called, they said Id hit my data cap. I told them that I shouldnt have one and they said basically well you do now. The plan has since been removed from their website and I can no longer find it anywhere other than a couple websites rating the plan as a good deal because of the unlimited data, but when I showed them the websites, they said they couldnt believe anything that wasnt on their own site. I asked them to show me the plan so I could confirm that it has unlimited data because I couldnt find it on their site, and the guy transferred me to sales. Sales got annoyed and transferred me back to billing, who sent me back to sales.Then my year long contract expired and my bill doubled. I was paying 45 a month at the start, and my most recent bill was $151. Our household goes to school and works from home. I know it eats up data, but thats specifically why I purchased the 200 plan instead of the 100 plan. But in an unprecedented time when everybody has been forced to do things online, these absolute scum bags silently removed my unlimited data, scrubbed their website of any trace of such a plan (even though my bill still says Internet 200), then started charging exorbitant overage fees. They are literally the only choice in my area, but Im one bill away from getting 10 miles of ethernet cord and connecting to a real ISP. Chances are you only have these people because they are your only option, but go with literally anyone else if you can.

I have had issues with Suddenlink from the moment I first initiated services. Nothing that I agreed to getting was completed as agreed. I was told that I would get 3 tv services for $125 per month, and come to find out on day of installation the tech said he only had my home listed for 1 TV. Than I get my bill and it is $189 which is absolutely insane. I wish I wouldve taken the time to read through reviews prior to initiating service, and wouldve just gone old fashion with ATT. I have called the customer service line 3 times for them to get what was agreed on upon initiating service corrected and even told them to review the initial call with the representative I initiated services with. I was told on the 2 first calls that they would investigate and get back to me and 2 months have gone by without a resolution or a contact of any sort. I called again today for the 3rd time and was pushed through a line in which the operator told me they do not assist with residential services. I am beyond upset with the lack of responsiveness and the customer service provided by this company is by far THE WORST experience I have ever encountered with a company in my 29 years of life...

The internet speed was 8 times slower than what I am paying for. The tech that was sent was cancelled even though I told them that I would pay for the tech. The bills have never been adjusted to reflect the frequent outages and constant slow speeds. The only reason they are still in business is bc there is no competition in my area.

The quality of the services paid for are abysmal. Internet connections will drop at a moments notice without warning and refuse to re-connect no matter how many times I reset the connection. Sometimes the connection goes for a few minutes, sometimes hours. And this happens everyday without fail, even when I re-arrange my connection, replace cords, and or attempt a wireless setup.Suddenlink clearly has no respect for the people trying to work from home with their faulty services. When you are one of the only providers within a certain area and your service is mediocre at best and terrible at worst, its made abundantly clear that the company has grown lazy and downright incompetent.This review is getting two stars because despite the terrible internet service I received, the young lady I spoke to over the phone was very polite and professional when I brought my issues to their attention, even if said issues were never resolved.I cannot and will not recommend this company until they get their act together and start providing a service worth its price. Because at this juncture, youll be paying full-price for a service that will only function half the time.

SuddenLink Internet OUT FOR 6 DAYS now. Went out on Wednesday. We had an appointment Saturday- guy couldn’t fix it. Sent out people to check line. Had to call back for ANY update-said they “fixed it.” They didn’t. Set up ANOTHER appointment for that evening. NO ONE showed. Can’t get ahold of them now. I called Sunday AM and they told me they won’t come out till Wednesday...that’s an entire WEEK. They said I have 4 OTHER tickets that have been “escalated” AND seen by a supervisor, but the supervisor is, “too busy running errands to help the company.” I work from home, too. They told me that it would take up to 5 days for a supervisor to respond. I’m calling back tomorrow because that will have been 5 days since my first escalation. It sucks because each person isn’t the specific and only one at fault, but this is ridiculous and I HAVE to work.

I have never in my life had such trash customer service from a company. I tried several times to get transferred to the sales department, and instead of transferring us he asked “why? What do you want?”. Once I finally got transferred, all I could hear was a bunch of people screaming in the background. Then I asked several times to be transferred to someone else and was refused. She also refused to give me her name. It was a very unprofessional call and if I could give them zero stars I would.

***Update 09/21/20***The tech that came out for my repair listened to my complaints and wanted to redeem me as a customer. He made the additional repairs and made sure all was within working order before departing. Because he went above and beyond, I’ll give Suddenlink one more chance. I do appreciate his work!Worst customer support in the world!If I replayed my morning calls that I had with Suddenlink reps this morning 9/21/20, you would swear I am exaggerating. I’ve been disconnected while on hold 3 times (not a call back yet), I’ve been argued with on the service that I want and have been tried to convince that what I am asking for is not what I want although it is an option they offer. I haven’t had tv service in over a week but they still want to try to “troubleshoot “ over the phone although we’ve done that twice now. I think it is time to find a new service provider.

Today marked the third appointment I’ve had scheduled to get internet installed. First appointment showed up two hours late then told me they were done. When I asked why I had no internet or tv they told me it would take an hour for the service to turn on. I asked again saying I’d never had anything installed when the tech didn’t make sure it was running correctly. He ignored me and said he had five more appointments so he had to go. Keep in mind it was 9 pm by this time. Service never came on waited a week before they could send another tech. Showed up on time but stayed 5 minutes and said there was nothing he could do. Called back waited on hold an hour to get a third appointment set up and they just never showed up. Meanwhile charged my card $200 today for service I’ve never had working. Took three days off of work already and they are telling me I’ll have to wait another week.

Very badd customer service from installation to on the phone the 1st guy that came out to install left all wires hanging out did not tell us he was leaving left cables running across the yard did not splain nothing to us just left we have called out 4 technician sense we can not keep the cable boxes working upstairs nor the Internet stays running constantly They continuously want you to pay they dont wanna give you any discounts and they dont wanna fix their stuff they send a guy out hell fix it he leaves 45 minutes to an hour later it does not work again have called back in again and asked for a new boxes for the 5th time I do not know of another service provider that has Internet here if someone does please let me know 75068 Would definitely not recommend them to anybody

We have had problems with our connection for the past few days, today I was supposed to wait for the technician to come fix our issue, scheduled from 9 - 11 am to arrive. I waited hours missing over half a day of work with nobody showing up or calling. Reminder, I was waiting without tv or internet because I had no connection. At 1 pm I cut my losses and left for work. After getting home hours later and tried to call them but unfortunately calling them is one of the most challenging tasks you could take on. Dont worry though someone is coming to fix our connection IN 4 DAYS. Maybe this time theyll actually show up!

I’ve never been so appalled by the lack of customer care from a company in general. Even putting 1-star makes me sick.I’ve had a total of 4 technicians come out to my home that was just recently built (would have been 6 but 2 decided to no-show since there seems to be no responsibility taken) to tell me we need to have a connection on the fiber optic cable to install the internet. Mind you, Suddenlink is the one that was contracted to have the optic cables installed in the first place for the WHOLE street, but these sub-contractors have no one to escalate the issue to and instead is left up to the customers to call and get directed to someone half way across the world to “assure” me that everything will be handled on my next appointment.The whole block as no internet and since they are the only cable internet provider (which is illegal by the way), we have no choice. I’ve paid for my service 7 days ago along with approximately 50ish phone calls and still nothing has been done to resolve the issue.My neighbors and myself just need to have a line tech come and fix the connection, and all will be well.Again, piss poor performance and customer satisfaction. If there is ANY other provider in your area, go with them.

We had internet at our previous home and used them for 5 years with no problems. We loved it. We decided to move and since having internet is CRUCIAL in our household, we literally selected a new location based on availability of internet. My in laws live across the street so I know there is service close by. We were told internet was available here on the website, and with 2 salespeople. Then we get an email saying they dont have internet here and they are going to send someone to see if it would be possible to get it here. Allegedly they sent someone and they said no they couldnt but we had already signed a lease so we were stuck.. spoke to a supervisor and all of a sudden they can again and she scheduled a new appointment for Tuesday. No one showed up during the 8am-11pm but they called to say they were sorry they didnt show up...they called at 8PM. Then told us we were wrong and our appointment was the next day so we stayed home again. No one shows. The technician apparently canceled it without notification AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES after the appointment window which is 3 HOURS long. I call up there and raise hell and they schedule me another appointment on Sunday morning between 8 and 11 and I told them that the right person had better show up with the right equipment or I am going to lose my mind all over them. They guaranteed it would happen and we got the appointment email confirmation.. Sunday morning rolls around and we are waiting here so we call to get a more exact time since we were supposed to be the first appointment of the day according to sales and they say there is no appointment scheduled. I went full Karen and demanded to speak to a manager and they got me a later appointment between 5 and 8. So they have 2 hours and 8 minutes to get their happy butts to my front door or we are done.. I mean how complicated can this because? We can see other Suddenlink routers on our devices with a good signal. I dont mind if the appointment takes a long time but someone has to show up to do it. I am working from home due to COVID and internet is NOT an option. I got on here and as it turns out we are not the only one with this problem but we are in a rural area so options are limited.

I live in Celina, Tx. Been using Suddelink for about 4 months now. The first month, the internet was great. After that, it became worse each week. Now, were getting 3 outages a week. They never let us know of an outage, and were NEVER able to get someone on the line when we call. Worst way to spend $75 a month. 10/10 would highly NOT recommend. Absolute trash service.

All experiences with Suddenlink have been horrible. If I could rate zero or negative I would.When the contractor installed the cable and internet he pulled up my carpet to show me how he could install it without the cables being seen. Then he couldnt get my carpet back down. I let it go because I know how to fix it. I should have known this would be the beginning of a horrible relationship.Every month, like clockwork, I lose internet for about a week at a time. When I call I get the same run around about rebooting the modem/router. This is done by computerized system and always comes up with, cant communicate with your router after 12 minutes. Always 12 minutes burned at the beginning of the call. When I hold for a person it takes about another half an hour. So, 42 minutes into the call I speak with someone that says I should restart my router. Really? If Ive made it this far do you really think I havent tried this? They will then set up an appointment for a service technician to come out. It will take 4-6 days though. Almost always on the day before the appointment they call and tell me the issue had resolved and no longer need the appointment. Only once has a tech showed up and the service was working starting that day. Therefore they had nothing to help me with. When I dont want to hold and request a call back they call back and when I answer they disconnect the call. I guess that solves the call back without having to help me.It has been out on and off for three days now and after my wife called and lost her composure about the horrible service they told her she could request a credit for the time down. So, in the past two years I should have about 3 months worth of credits. Never had this been mentioned before. Thats 87.5% functionality. Not acceptable. My wife works from home and this negatively impacts her performance and ability to do her job.Switch companies right? They are the only company other than AT&T and I really dont like them. It appears I have no choice but to switch to a company I really cant stand because Suddenlink is now, in my opinion, way worse. Avoid this company at all costs.

If I could give zero stars I would. So we just paid up our bill yesterday of $428. As of this afternoon we still do not have our cAble on. A tech came out this morning and basically did nothing but switch out the box. He was on the phone with a rep for 45 min and was unsuccessful. My husband has called 3 times today and was told that another tech would be out before 5 and did not happen. This happens every time our service is interrupted for whatever reason. This ongoing issue is ridiculous. When our service was unpaid we tried calling for someone to come pick up the equipment so we wouldn’t get charged yet no one did and we were still charged. Which is why we paid the balance and hoped for a second chance with these guys.This is getting out of hand. No one was helpful Worst service ever!!

LESSON LEARNED!!I called to terminate my service due to moving, the representative told me that my last day service will be July 3. Unfortunately I didn’t save the date and time I called them. I returned the modem on July 9 since all their stores are closed due to this Covid19 pandemic. I went online to check my account a week after I returned the modem and my total due is $99.05 for the service period to Aug 3rd. I called and the representative told me that my account already disconnected and just way a week to let their system refresh and clear the charge. A week later, the charge stills there and I had been told again to wait until the end of month.Today July 31st I just called now and the representative insisted that I have to pay that amount because the system cannot be fixed.I learned the lesson when anyone comes to the point have to disconnect service with them, please save all the proof to save yourself a trouble later.

Absolutely Garbage Internet why would you be a service if it doesnt even work the past month the internet has only been up for 3 hours i never have a connection to internet which is pretty important such a Dog💩 company who doesnt give out internet and loves to change their prices every month.(Update) still really bad for 1gb a second I only get about 600-580mbps (it drops as I do the test sometimes even to 300mbps) with an upload of 0. 49 Mbps which is terrible I shouldnt be having 25-40 % packet loss playing anything online.

First off Google reviews can be written by anyone, you simply go to maps and click write a review; you can be a customer service agent that makes a bunch of google accounts and writes fake reviews. I wouldnt listen to unsubstantiated 5 star reviews.Anyway, they literally wasted 5 weeks of my time, lied to me about being able provide internet, about the internet speed, when they could do an installation, and countless times when a technician would arrive and sending me any type of notification. A new hire finally arrived about 4 weeks after I paid them and told me sorry man I cant install, you do not have a grey box and pointed to some across the street, Ill put a ticket in for you he was supposed have been told to install that grey box that is why its called an installation (however he never did, i checked)If you want to do business with this company, expect to pay them up-front and schedule a date for when a technician will arrive. They should send you a notification if they are not going to arrive and if they do, one about 15 mins before they show up. That is what your told.Do not have high hopes that they will arrive, or send you anything, just sit at your place for the 3 hour window that they might arrive in. Then when they dont arrive or send you a notification, give them a call and ask why they didnt show up.Expect to hear where so very very very sorry, I apologize, we are going to fix this, however it looks like you didnt actually schedule... or the date you scheduled is for next week... no point in arguing with them because they do not care, if it is not obvious yet based on other reviews.Then expect to repeat this for an unknown amount of time, they might show up and install the internet or they might not. They eventually told me sorry we cannot provide internet to you, its not our fault, its someone elses...a customer service agent, etc. Look at the reviews from yelp, OKC, other places, they all say it sucks and the ones who dont arent worth listening to. Go with ATT and if you cannot get wired internet get a hotspot.

The reason why I gave Suddenlink 5 Stars is because their speed our speeds went up to 508 Mbps Download and 50 Mbps Upload I know we have been having Wi-Fi problems with speed, yall just need to upgrade your router to Wi-FI 6! We had our router that was provided by Suddenlink that was trash for 7 years with slow wifi until the wifi stopped so we bought a new router and got loads of speed!

As the owner of a major IT company here in Gainesville, I am often asked about internet service companies. Reluctantly, I suggest Suddenlink, even though I know their service is inferior to the competition. Before Altice bought them out, you could easily get in touch with the local office, now, not so much. Fear not though, there IS competition with Nortex. Their internet runs through fiber line which is superior to cable. Problem is, they are not covering a lot of the city, to which I was told that the more people contact them, the more inclined they are to expand their service area. So get on the phone to them people and get off Suddenlink.

After having service for 16 days our internet stopped working. They offered to send a technician out...4 days later. Ironically when I checked the same day to see when I could set up NEW service, they could come the following day.Just another corporation that doesn’t care about its customers.
