I had burned in sunscreen handprints all over my car. This was no dirt but an actual defect in the upper layer of the paint. Did try everything to remove it with no success. Took it to a car paint specialist and she gave me some tips that included rubbing compound, hand waxing, and lots of time. Thats how I ended up with Derek. After he was done with it, the car looked like it just got a compete new paint job. No traces of any paint defects. Simply amazing. Thank you so much!

Derek was very professional and did a great job on my car. I bought a used corolla and there were stains on the seats from the previous owner. Derek was very detailed and took his time on my car. He was very nice, honest with advice about my floor mats, approachable, and easy to do business with. It is very evident that hes been doing detailing for a while now, and his work goes to show for it. Not a super cheap service, but if you want your car cleaned right he definitely can do the job. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because he was about an hour and a half late to our appointment time...which really doesnt make too much difference in the lengthy cleaning process, but is a slight inconvenience. If you are short on time or not okay with waiting around for the process or any other delays, might not be a good choice for you. At the same time, I understand things happen with any business, and I feel that he attempted to make right on his late service with a thorough and positive work ethic, and a reasonable price for the excessive amount of fur that he had to remove in my vehicle from my German Shepherd.

I cant speak about his abilities because he never showed up to wax my 2015 camaro. I texted and called and no response. I understand being tied up with another client but a call or text would have been nice when you spend your whole day waiting on him. Very unprofessional

I took my car to the Rockies this summer - dust, dirt, bugs! I was going to have it washed in Colorado when someone advised it would just get dirty again - wait until you get back home and get it detailed. Best advice ever. Derek did an amazing job on a very dirty car. 5-star shine on the outside and not a bit of Rocky Mountain dirt on the inside. He was very quick to respond to my calls, and it was easy to come up with a mutually agreeable date. Highly recommend. And his prices are very fair. Will use him again and again.

Unfortunately, an overall terrible experience. I opted for the Complete Detail, which for my 2010 Forester was $125. To start, Derek told me that he always calls the day before to confirm an appointment. Well, the day prior to my appointment, I had to call him towards the end of the day, as I had not heard anything back from him in regards to our appointment the following day. The day of the appointment, at our scheduled time, he was no where to be seen. I called him, and after ringing several times it went to his voicemail. I left 2 or 3 voicemails over the next 30 minutes, only to receive a call from him about 40 minutes after my appointment. He told me he was working on another clients car and was running behind, something I would have loved to know maybe an hour ago, as now the window would put me in an area where I may be late to my job. So, we rescheduled for another day that week. The next appointment, he shows up with another gentleman with him. No big deal, glad everyone is here. From there, he hooks up his hose to the connection at my house, and I go inside for around 2 hours as they worked. When they were finished, Derek took me outside to check it out. The outside was definitely cleaner, but nothing spectacular or flashy, just a basic cleaning. The interior, which of course was where the focus was, to begin with was not in terrible condition. Just some minor staining on the grey cloth seats, and a little bit of crumbs in the jambs. One of the main things I had highlighted was a doorjamb where toothpaste had spilled and hardened. It was pretty much still there. On top of that, the minor stains, which I know for a fact can be removed relatively easy with some elbow grease, especially between two guys as I had done one seat myself, were still completely visible and present. At the end of it all, the car definitely had a nice smell to it, but with the main issues still being there at the end of it all, I truly do not feel the quality of service was acceptable for the price I paid. I recommend staying away from Detailing by Derek personally.

My car was an absolute MESS with stains and pet hair and dirt, and Derek got rid of ALL of it. My car is like brand new and I love it. Definitely recommend him! Plus, he comes to you, so you dont have to waste time wait around at some car place. So convenient and definitely worth the money.

Call him to schedule and left a message, never heard back. He did this months ago too when I emailed, called, and left a message. Either he stopped doing this or he has a big enough pool of returning customers. What’s weird is phone still rings and has the voicemail for his business. Will change rating if he ever gets back to me.

Derek used to be the best in town. But it has happened now on several occasions that I make an appointment and he does not show up or cancels. Both scenarios are unprofessional, but the not showing up and not responding a text or voicemail is really something to behold. I was a client before he had clients. And even with all the business I have referred to him over the years, I was not treated with more respect and decency. Sadly, I will not be recommending him to anyone as NO ONE deserves to have their time wasted like this. And he’s not the only one who details cars. And frankly, over the years, he has gotten extremely expensive for subpar work. Such a shame. Stay away.

Very thorough and had options for a natural rug shampoo formula!On my last trip from Maryland to Florida my car was involved in a kimchi accident. A jar of cucumber kimchi smashed and broke open in the back seat when I had to brake suddenly. It was awful. Kimchi juice was on the floor and seat. Then I had to let it stew for a week because I had to go out of town.Derek came and cleaned it all out without flinching. It was great that he offered a natural rug cleaning solution or the other solution. He was sweet to my dog and the price was very fair for the work he did. Im not sure I could have drove my car without his help!
