It is hard to find a trusted appliance repair shop. Our washer broke on Memorial Day and we called around town on Tuesday for service. We had little luck getting anyone to arrive before Friday (and this would just be to diagnose the issue). Kendall Appliance Service, however, valued the importance of getting this taken care of fast and well. They were able to fit us in to diagnose, get the necessary part and fix it in less than 3 days (all before competitors could see us). Due to this, I would highly recommend them for their responsiveness, professionalism and support, and encourage others to use them.

I was looking for someone to fix our dryer. I called 4 other companies and 2 wont answer and the other one didnt have someone available asap. Kendall Appliance saved the day! Floyd came the same day. He was very experienced and fixed our dryer in less than 2.5 hours including getting the part that needed to be replaced. Wed highly recommend his services.

I was recommended this company from another appliance company here in town. I called kendall appliance repair out to check to see what was going with my dishwasher. He states that it was a bad motor and because of that it wasnt draining. So I get in contact with my warranty company to send him a motor to replace it with, he takes almost a week to respond to come back and do the repair. I turned on the dishwasher and again same issue. I have spent weeks calling him to come back and see whats going on and I havent gotten a phone call nor text message back. This is NOT how you do business, especially in a town as small as gainesville, word travels fast. I would not recommend giving this business your time nor money.

Floyd Kendall is superb at appliance repair. He replaced a small motor in my refrigerator at a very modest price. He was prompt and courteous. I would hire him again without any reservations.

Floyd is great at what he does. He has been repairing my appliances for years. He is prompt, professional, and his prices are very reasonable.

Seemed honest at first and sent me a email stating they would refund my money by mail for unfinished work and overcharged. They never posted my check and failed to respond to multiple emails and phone calls.

Floyd came right out to fix my washer. Paid $256 for repair. 10 days and 6 loads of wash later and its broken again...doing the same thing! Called numerous times, texted numerous times...will NOT return call or text. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING HIM.

I had kendall out to repair my fridge a while back. He replaced the board and it worked great. About 40days later same problem again. I called him repeatedly but he never would come back out for warranty work. I had to call another company. They determined it was same part kendall installed. Again I tried calling Kendall appliance no call back. I paid the other company to replace the board. It has not been about 3 months and it is still working.But Kendall does not honor their warrantied or call back customers

I called Floyd to come out and fix the ice maker in my Frigidaire gallery refrigerator. He was prompt in answering my phone calls and scheduled a time for him to come by. He was timely when he arrived and diagnosed the problem. He ordered the part and told me he would get back to me by that Thursday or Friday when the part arrived. He never got back to me until almost 2 weeks later. We did set up a time he came out and replaced the broken part. Unfortunately that did not fix my problem. Since then I’ve contacted him three separate times on three different days. He is not returning my texts. I would be very leery about ever hiring this man. His word means nothing as far as I can tell. He tells me I have a 30 day warranty on parts however when you can’t get a hold of him, that 30 days expires quickly. The guy is a liar. Take my advice and use someone else.

I hired Mr. Floyd Kendall on December 18 to 22 of 2017, to help me fix a dishwasher and a refrigerator at two of my properties. He was able to fix the dishwasher, but he assessed the fridge and thought he needed to buy parts . He ordered the parts, but once he came to the property for the second time, he realized that he misdiagnosed the problem, and that the compressor was the real problem. He told me that he would refund me at least for the parts that he ordered, but he never did. I paid upfront for both services a total cost of $418.52; $255.59 for the dishwasher, and $162.93 for the fridge labor and parts. I have reached to to him on multiple times including via text and voicemail on 6/29/2017, 1/8/2018, 6/25/2018. He has never replied my texts or phone calls. He had no problem charging me upfront prior to services being rendered, but disappeared once I asked him for refund. Very unprofessional service.

Got my dryer thermostat replaced. It was super quick and easy, and not super expensive.

I had a Kendall repair man come to my home Monday. Said he needed a part. I prepaid for the part and service and he said hed be back Wednesday. I have been calling for 3 days, no reply, no return.
