We chose Tonya to sell our home after meeting with 3 separate realtors. She made us feel like she had it together, knew the area well, and would make sure all went smoothly. While she has a team, she told us that or contract negotiations, she’d be the one who took that on herself.A few issues we ran into:1. We were assigned a realtor on her team who was not friendly. She created our mls listing and when we requested edits, she argued and didn’t make them.2. The agent we were assigned handled contract negotiations, not Tonya.3. Our buyers asked for a change to our closing date the day before our move because they didn’t have funding yet. When this happened, we asked for a few additional days because we were nervous they wouldn’t make the new date even and didn’t want to have to cancel and reschedule movers again on a major holiday weekend. Our assigned realtor was rude and insulting to us to the point where we called Tonya directly and requested she step in which she should have done long before knowing our issues with our agent. She handled things perfectly after that.4. It was odd to receive an email from someone on her team asking what type of goodies and such we’d like as client “thank you/congrats on the home” gift since we never received a thing after close. I think there’s a level of professionalism missing here.Overall, I’d go with someone else next time for the main reason of feeling like Tonya sold us on her dealing with all contracts and that not happening. She also went on vacation right as our house was being listed but didn’t inform us.
