Had a policy from Aug 2018-Dec. 2018 with them. The new person kept messing up my policy and each moth I would get notified that my premium went up. I would contact her and she would adjust something and then the same thing would again and again. There was always a reason the policy would go up, all of them the fault of State Farm. I finally had enough and told her I was disappointed that this was happening and that I had really enjoyed having State Farm years before. She finally came clean and said that she had messed up and I was one of her first primary accounts. Too bad she couldnt have been honest up front and gotten the help of the veteran agent to help her sort out the issues to begin with. Dont recommend using them since they dont tell the truth and there are policy changes after the policy is in force.

I can not say enough good things about this branch of State Farm, in particular Chris. I was in a very unusual and very unfortunate situation after I received a bad oil change service and in the end it completely locked up my engine. After getting no support and no results from the place and manager that messed up my car I called Chris and State Farm in desperation. I live alone here in Texas and felt like I was getting the runaround about what they did to my car and their lack of urgency to make it right. In the mean time I was paying $50/day for a rental car out of my own pocket so I could get to and from work daily. Chris was very empathetic said “let me see what I can do.” After many calls back and forth and her diligence (she even called the oil change place and corporate office of the service location — with no luck) We, well I should say she, decided to take our chances and see if it would fall under accidental in my comprehensive coverage. In the mean time while the claim was being explored and a decision was being made State Farm was covering my rental car at 100%. What a relief. Come to find out it did fall under accidental coverage and I would just have to pay my $500 deductible instead of thousands of dollars. And even better they can/will worry about taking care of the oil change place— I think State Farm can put more pressure and urgency on them then I could alone. HahaI can not say enough great things about Chris and this State Farm agency. I will be a customer for life, a very satisfied customer at that. Thank you so much!!

9 years ago, I moved to Texas and randomly picked Gene Wolfgram, and Im super happy that I did. Chris Lennon has always been very accessible, and when she is not, Gene himself will answer calls to help you out. One of the hardest things to determine when you pick an agent is who will help guide you things like how to register a new car, or make sure that your claim has been handled smoothly. I have had experience with both, and can tell you that they do a phenomenal job of taking care of you fairly, and are happy to share their years of knowledge so that you handle your business in the best possible way. Hopefully this review will encourage someone else to sign with Gene Wolfgram, and hopefully they will receive the great service that I have over the years.

Mary Brown was MORE than helpful (and happy to do it) with my weekly questions trying to understand what my premium was, what discounts Im eligible for, and every other detail I can think of. I have been a customer of Gene Wolfgram State Farm (SF) for many years. In general, I am very satisfied with my customer experience. The staff, especially Chris Lennon, are courteous, knowledgeable with using internal systems and generally can provide details about their standard insurance products. To illustrate my customer experience, I will outline two recent experiences with my coverage and describe both the good and bad aspects.This year I purchased the home system protection and the energy efficiency upgrade coverage for my permanently installed appliances (furnace, water heater, oven, etc.). These coverages are actually provided by Conneticut Steam Boiler (CSB) through SF. And when my water heater failed, CSB covered a portion of my replacement expense with a deductible. The claim process was fairly straight forward and fast, but there was no documentation on what you needed to process the claim leaving me to guess what I might need. I provided SF my invoice and other documentation I built to support my claim and they filed the claim. Then SF was out of loop with me dealing directly with CSB. CSB was easy to work with, but I was really glad that I had prepared additional documentation to file and support my claim.Another recent experience was with signing up for the SF Drive Safe and Save program. When I initiated the program SF gave me a small (8%) discount on each of the 4 vehicles I own for the first ~6 months. The program captures information as you drive and scores you based on speeding, hard turns, hard starts/stops, etc. The app showed my family scoring 97% safe driving on average across my 4 vehicles. However, when it came time for SF to recalculate participant discounts (SF won’t disclose the calculation they use to determine the discount), I received a decent discount on 2 cars and a mostly non-existent discount on the other 2. When I spoke with Gene and his staff about the small discount on 2 of my vehicles, they told me the 2 cars I received very low discounts on was due to putting a lot of mileage on these vehicles? I thought the program was “Drive Safe and Save” and we scored a 97% average? So I would suggest that SF rename the program “Drive Very Little, and Safe, and Save”. As such, I ended up dropping my most driven car from the program since the discount was not worth giving SF all my driving information.In closing, Gene Wolfgram SF agency has competent, nice staff that are easy to work with. And my analysis (I quote other suppliers about every 2 years) shows their rates are competitive or slightly better than most other name brand insurance agencies. In addition, my suggestion is to read your policy in detail, and before you file a claim, gather as much documentation as possible to support your policy coverage. Finally, it’s been my experience that when you file a claim you will be the one that has to represent and drive your claim. It’s not like the commercial where the agent is called and over the phone he says “don’t worry your covered”.

I’ve been a client of the Wolfgram Agency since 2007. In that time, my family and I have been able to depend on Gene and his team several times. Water damage, hail damage, roof damage, auto damage, you name it, they’ve taken care of us every step of the way.Most notably, on a trip to California, I received a call from my brother-in-law at 8:00 am on a Saturday, Pacific time, to let me know that our home had been struck by lightning and that there was extensive damage. Not knowing what else to do I called Gene. Due to the time difference and being a weekend I had to leave a message. Gene called me back within 15 minutes (6:30ish in Dallas. On a Saturday) to let me know that a claim was already opened and all of the necessary steps would be handled while we were on vacation so that we didn’t have to rush home. I’ll be a client of Gene’s office for life for taking such good care of my during that time.I’m sure that you could find cheaper insurance but I absolutely guarantee that you will NOT find a better agent to handle all of your insurance and financial needs than The Gene Wolfgram Agency!
